Came here for the first time and sat at the bar at Offshore 9 Rooftop Lounge and honestly it was…read moresuch a good vibe. The view is really nice, especially around sunset, and it just feels super relaxed up there. Rebecca (the bartender) was the best part though. I had no idea what to order since it was my first time, and she was super sweet and patient, helping me figure out what I'd actually like instead of just rushing me. It made the whole experience feel way more comfortable. Drinks were good, vibes were good, and the service really stood out. I'd definitely come back.

I was really looking forward to celebrating my birthday at offshore rooftop 9, but unfortunately,…read morethe overall experience ended up being disappointing. I do want to start by saying the staff was accommodating. When I made my reservation online, it only allowed me to book for six or eight guests (I can't remember which), but I had a party of 10. They were able to accommodate us and update the reservation so our full group could celebrate together, which I really appreciated. When I made the reservation, the only available time slot online was 8:45 PM. The earlier time slots were to early for the rest of my guest , so we booked what was offered. We didn't think that would leave us with such a short amount of time before closing at 10:00 PM. We also didn't realize until we got there that they don't serve full meals just appetizers. To be fair, I take some responsibility for that. I should have looked at the menu ahead of time, watched a few video reviews, and done a little more research before booking. That's on me. We still made the best of it. The girls were each able to enjoy a drink, the guys squeezed in two drinks each, and we ordered about three appetizers for the girls and three for the guys. Shortly after that, we were told it was last call for both drinks and appetizers because the kitchen and bar were closing. It felt like the evening ended almost as soon as it began. I do wish they had either not offered such a late reservation or at least let us know when booking that we'd have very limited time to order and enjoy the experience before everything shut down. If you're planning a birthday celebration or any gathering where you want to enjoy food, drinks, and time with your group, I would recommend booking an earlier reservation if possible or choosing another venue if only the late reservation is available. Hopefully, my experience helps someone else avoid making the same mistake.

Gastropub was welcoming, had a great atmosphere for the match, and let people come in and enjoy the game without making them feel like they needed to spend hundreds of dollars just to have a seat. The staff was friendly, the drinks were good, and the overall vibe was exactly what you'd want for a big sporting event. If you're looking for a place to watch a game, have a few drinks, and actually feel appreciated as a customer, Gastropub is a great choice. I'll definitely be back.

07.10.2026 Friday…read more Found this place by a friend that was going to Dj for this establishment that evening. I arrived here at 4pm. Parking was easy and convenient. Had a good wait time since I wanted to be seated while overlooking the ocean view. The host took my name down while we sat and waited at the bar. The bartender at the bar was serious. It would help if she was little bit friendler and smiled. Her vibe was uneasy. After a long day at work, it doesnt help to deal with serious people. People come to the pub to wind down and to have a good time. Her energy tried to kill my experience, but I would not let it. 20 mins passed and our table was ready. Ordered adult beverages and food within a 3 to 4 hour window of our stay. Kudos to Victoria S, she was a great waitress. Great job on always attending to us!! Very professional. Overall great place and good vibe! Drinks are cheap and reasonable. Food is delicous. This is my go to spot to hang out at the OC. Large LcDs for sports and good music. Definitely be back. Clean with good food and drinks.

I live in Huntington Beach and I love coming to Sandy's with my pup!…read more I was here last night. I'm just having some dinner and Jayson my server, he gave excellent service. He was so nice and he helped me and my dog with her plate and brought her some water and was just a very kind person.. I really appreciate great service, I didn't eat last night, but I normally do and I love the Aho Poke Tower, and I love the paddleboard salad and the flatbreads!

This is a beautiful location right next to the Huntington Beach Pier. The parking lot adjacent to…read morethe restaurant was completely full, and after circling around for a while looking for a spot, we ended up parking across the street in the Main Street parking structure. We were planning to visit both the restaurant and the farmers market, so it worked out just fine. The restaurant is located directly below Duke's, which is another spot I'd like to try in the future. I actually came here because I saw their clam chowder bread bowl on the website, and I've been on the hunt for a really good clam chowder. When we arrived, the restaurant was pretty busy. I requested outdoor seating, and the host was kind enough to accommodate us right away. The patio offers a beautiful view overlooking the beach, which made for a great dining experience. For our meal, we ordered the Spinach & Artichoke Dip as an appetizer, along with the Chowder Bowl, Bikini Paddle Salad, Steakhouse Tacos, and Fish & Chips. The chowder bowl was very good. I especially appreciated that they make the chowder in-house. It was loaded with potatoes and had a rich, creamy flavor. My only complaint is that I would have liked a few more clams. The Steakhouse Tacos were delicious and had a unique flavor thanks to the addition of blue cheese crumbles. The Spinach & Artichoke Dip was also served in a bread bowl, which was a nice touch. The Fish & Chips were probably the weakest dish of the meal. According to my mom, the fish was a bit bland. However, she really enjoyed the Greek-style salad that came with her meal. Overall, this is a great spot to check out if you're spending the day at the beach. Between the ocean views, friendly service, and solid menu options, it's definitely worth a visit.

Busy hustle type vibe with the diners, cars on PCH and beachgoers. Park in the underground structure, get validated. Food we ordered: - Calamari: Standard quality with light batter and soft pieces. The pesto sauce was very good. - Ribeye House Butchered Cut: I ordered mine Black & Blue (aka Pittsburg Style) which can be difficult. They did a very good job with it. Outside had good crunchy sear in most areas and soft tender rare inside. It was generously seasoned topped with compound butter. I subbed the garlic fries for mash potatoes which was just okay. Overall, very impressed. Steak is my favorite. - Picanha: Flat Iron Steak topped with chimichuri. Ordered medium rare and it came out cooked perfect. Very soft and tender pieces. The garlic fries were very good and the arugula salad had a nice blend of citrusy and savory flavor. Overall, the food was great. Lots of seasoning and flavors. We were celebrating a birthday so they brought out a complimentary chocolate cake and ice cream. Very nice gesture. Another note; Service was great and the manager also walked the floor the entire time to check in on guests, run food, clear tables when needed and helped his staff. As someone who's worked in restaurants, that's always nice to see.

When we checked in at noon, the place had some patrons, but more than two-thirds of the restaurant was empty. The bartender was also our server on the patio. He was friendly and attentive enough. Back to the food - I had the prime rib dip, and it looked really good, but the meat was extremely salty!!! The bottom buns were mushy from condensation too. And the au jus was not good. The horseradish was really good though. My friend said the steak on her salad was good, but the salad was awful because of how drenched it was in dressing. My other friend said his fish tacos were average at best. I felt embarrassed because I was the one who picked this place. On a positive note, the NA Aperol NOOH was really good! Such a shame because the view is so beautiful and the restaurant aesthetic is really nice, but the food is just that bad. Parking - they do validate parking for the first two hours free in their building garage.

The Backswing is such a fun hidden gem in Huntington Beach! Located inside Playground Mini Golf,…read morethis speakeasy combines great food, craft cocktails, and an incredibly creative atmosphere. A quick tip because it was a little tricky to find the first time: park in the main Pacific City parking garage and take the elevator up. When you get out, head to the side of the building opposite the beach. The entire venue is golf-themed, and they truly thought of everything. The decor is adorable, and every detail feels intentional--even the bathrooms are super cute. There are so many great photo opportunities throughout the space, plus arcade games and indoor mini golf that make the experience even more fun. The speakeasy itself has a great vibe with creative craft cocktails and delicious food. I highly recommend ordering the Steak Frites--the steak was absolutely phenomenal and one of the highlights of our visit. I ate it before I got a pic. But trust me it's bomb! The drinks were equally impressive and perfectly crafted. Definitely go check it out!!!

It's not overly polished, but that's part of the appeal. There were several creative obstacles and challenges that we hadn't seen at other mini golf spots, which kept things interesting and fun throughout the round. After golf, we checked out the arcade. There was a good variety of games, and my son was definitely entertained, which is always a win. It felt like a well-rounded spot for a casual outing. The restrooms were clean, and the staff was friendly enough--nothing over the top, but perfectly pleasant. One thing that did take away from the experience a bit was the number of very young kids running around unsupervised. I'm talking maybe 4 years old or so, and they kept interrupting our game. As a parent, I completely understand how challenging it can be to keep an eye on little ones, but I'm also a bit competitive, so it definitely threw off my groove. Not the venue's fault, just something to be aware of--there may be some tiny, energetic free spirits roaming around. Also, while it was a warm day, it wasn't quite as cool as I expected it to be, which made it a little less comfortable than ideal. Overall, though, it's a fun, family-friendly spot with a unique mini golf course and enough activities to keep kids entertained. I'd come back--just maybe with slightly lower expectations for personal space on the course.
