This is a cute spot for lunch or dinner! The courtyard has a nice ambiance. I heard about their Uno, Dos, Tres menu for only $29 and wanted to try it. My friend and I both ordered off of the three-course lunch menu. I tried the Wagyu Flautas, Baja Fish Tacos, and Churros. The flautas were okay flavor-wise, but the texture was nice and crisp. I thought the breading of the fish tacos was a bit too thick, but overall the flavor was good. The churros were yummy, and I tried my friend's flan, which was tasty with the lime zest. I liked the overall food presentation--the appetizer and entree were served on a cute tray. We also got free chips, salsa, and bean dip (they have a pork-based version and a vegan version), which I probably filled up too much on before out main food arrived. Service was great. The staff was friendly and our waitress along with (who I'm assuming to be) the manager checked on us often. Parking was easy with 90 minutes free (before 5pm; $5 after 5pm) at the structure on Brighton. Not impressed with this place after my encounter here a few weeks ago. It was Tree Lighting Ceremony Night on November 16th when I stumbled across a lady giving out free drink tickets to this place. I decided to check it out. It was a very busy night and I kindly asked the bartender if I could order a drink with him after waiting for quite some time. He rudely said there were people in front of me so I'd have to wait. A couple of minutes later he asked me if I was with some party that happened to be on the left side of the bar. I said no, I was alone. He asked me to walk to the other side of the bar to place my drink order. I surprisingly said, why? I have been waiting here to order, why didn't he tell me this 5 minutes ago when I originally approached him. I then walked to the other side of the bar to order my drink. He then started to give me another hard time. I will never go back to this place, not for free food or drinks. The staff is extremely rude and disorganized. This place has such a chic Spanish look. The inside bar gives you the traditional Spanish style you look for when you want some Spanish/mexican food. Service was good and I loved the ring in our booth that calls for more tequila. We were there for brunch so we didn't get to use it but it looked like so much fun. This place is literally hidden. You can't see it from the outside not really but once you are parked in the garage and you just walk up the stairs it's right there. My friend was having a birthday here so we all met here and it was really cute as soon as we stepped inside. The outdoor patio area is super cute and I love all of the pink! The girls at the front were not that welcoming, but our waiter, Ken I think his name was, from Austrailia, was top-notch! He gave us great recommendations, Margarita wise. Gosh, what a let down. The place is GORGEOUS but the food is lackluster. My aunt brought me here as a treat and night out. We had been looking forward to dinner together for months and when the opportunity finally arose, she wanted to bring me here. My eyes sparkled with adoration for the decor and ambiance. I was so excited. The menu looked promising. My first red flag was when she told me the last time she was here, she ordered the chile relleno and she didn't enjoy it but had hopes a second visit will be its redemption. She wanted to try again, thus bringing me here. I was also hoping her last experience would not repeat itself. She ordered the tortilla soup and wagyu taquitos. I had the brisket with papas bravas. My aunt's soup was served lukewarm. The cubes of queso fresco that were meant to be a garnish were rancid. It was an odd experience as the cheese tasted like nothing, no flavor, and then suddenly you get the burst of a rancid/spoiled flavor that lingers on your palate. The wagyu taquitos were piping hot!!! So, we weren't sure why the soup was not also hot. The taquitos were okay, nothing special that really stood out. My brisket was also so-so. I liked that it was very tender however the sauce was missing something. It fell short of being delicious. The papas bravas were not the greatest. Some were very firm. I will say I really loved the brava sauce. I put it on my brisket tacos. Oh! And I enjoyed the flour tortillas - very pillowy. I'm being hard on this restaurant because the items are expensive and there is an expectation that the food be delicious and properly heated, at those prices. We did let the waiter know and she let the manager know. He offered a free appetizer and cocktail for a future visit. I likely would return because it is so beautiful. A cocktail and appetizer sounds nice, especially since it's complementary. However, I would not return for dinner nor recommend people dine here. When we got there, we were some of the first people there and they sat us in the beautiful indoor-outdoor patio looking area which was just stunning! Our server was sooooo kind and he was very helpful as it was our first time. The drinks here: DEEEELISH. I normally always order a margarita, but my mom called dibs on the Pink Margarita which was sooo yum. I ordered the Kiwifruit, which honestly tasted like a kiwi marg so I really couldn't complain because it was so refreshing! I came here for brunch on a Saturday for their $29 prix fixe 3 course menu. It wasn't crowded at all with seating available in both the courtyard and indoor area. Both are very cute and cozy and the atmosphere is definitely 10/10 with so much space for larger groups too. Our waiter was very friendly and brought us chips, salsa, and bean dip (vegan or meat option available) to start. Then you pick your appetizer, entree, and dessert: the appetizer and entree come out together on one platter but the dessert comes later. I thought this prix fixe brunch was too good to be true because their regular entrees are $40+ but it was such a great deal! The veggie empanadas were so tasty with caramelized onions and corn. The fish tacos were deconstructed with rice, beans, slaw, tortilla, and battered fish. The fish itself wasn't my favorite but everything else was incredible. My mom ordered the 2lb Maine lobster with cilantro rice for her side. The presentation for this creature was def on point! He was huge and totally worth it! they even cut the lobster up for you. I decided to do the lunch menu for my first visit, I had the empanadas and the short ribs enchiladas. The empanadas were ok, nothing special -- they tasted pasty like they had been sitting for a long time. The big problem was the short rib, and sides -- the spices were bitter and acidic, full of vinegar, a very unpleasant flavor and at the same time no salt. The rice it was served with was oily. The sauce had an unpleasant taste. One good thing we could say was that it was gorgeously plated, which speaks to the facts that they are going for an elevated concept but simply not delivering or executing properly. I love Mexican food and I am familiar with the flavors. When the server asked me if everything was good, I was honest and she sent the manager, I explained to her and only had a few bites before and was trying to like it -- and she said you can get something else for second course. I got the fish tacos, the flavor was very good, but the fish was chewy. It came with a really good mango coleslaw thing. I didn't eat much abs ended up getting it to go. it was a random Wednesday and I wanted to treat myself to a nice lunch, somewhere and it was an disappointing experience. I still gave the waitress a 35% tip on a $50 bill because it was not her fault and the service was amazing. The mixed race hostess was also lovely. Like I said, I wanted to like the place, and love the vibe. The photos show the effort put in decor plates, and the beautiful plating of the meal. Mistakes happen and apparently there was some computer issue. We were hungry and decided to stay for lunch even though we were initially annoyed, and I'm glad we did.
