The food was pretty good. However, I did not like the fact that 1 million servers kept coming up to our table. It felt like seagulls at the beach while you're eating a muffin. We kept getting interrupted by a server, tending to us. I understand quick service, but it got to be too much and that really annoyed us. The food was really good though. It's just the incessant visits from various servers while you're trying to have a meal and enjoy your company that really threw us off. The ambience is very nice though.

Came here for the Saturday Girl brunch deal its absolutely a great deal! The atmosphere is beautiful and the food is both filling and delicious. However, the service was a bit mixed. On their website it stated that the $25 Saturday girl brunch deal was available till 4pm so we came at 3:35pm for our 3:30pm reservation. However, the hostess that sat us told us at 3:42 that their kitchen stopped serving this deal at 3:45. We were a confused, disappointed and feeling a bit misled. After some debate my friends and I almost left but they made an exception for us to get the deal which was very kind of them. Our server Bo was also extremely kind and lifted our spirits! He seriously made the brunch more special and enjoyable for everyone. Hopefully they can make the availability of the deal more clear for others cause it can be really frustrating to make the trip to this restaurant just for the information online to be false.Other wise, I enjoyed my experience here and would definitely come back. - valet or street parking - Small and large group seating - Indoor and outdoor seating

Did someone say "GIRL BRUNCH" !? Went here on a Saturday Girl Brunch date and it was a good time! They have a really cute menu for this special occasion. Brunch was $25 each person and included a starter, an entree and a dessert. They also have $10 mimosas with lots of juices to choose from. The staff was so friendly and attentive. They started us off with chips and salsa which was so good! Then we had our first round of mimosas, I got cranberry for my first two rounds and then switched over to an espresso martini with whiskey (and if you haven't tried it YOU MUST!) Not just here but everywhere! For my starter I got the berries and cream which I usually don't do but it was so good I'm glad I went outside of my box. The Chantilly cream and fresh strawberries and blueberries were amazing. For my entree, I ordered the French Toast, I did not realize it was stuffed with some sort of apricot or fruit jam and was not the biggest fan of this. For dessert I went with the churros and was left feeling a bit let down. The churros needed salt to bring out the sweetness, they tasted a bit bland and the sauce that came with did not add to the flavors. Overall because it's such a cute place, the drinks are good and priced decently as well as having a large enough menu where the next visit I feel I could choose something different I would 10/10 go back. So stay tuned for the follow up review!

We usually come here for happy hour with my coworkers so I'm surprised I haven't reviewed this place yet. The Hideaway is exactly that. A small restaurant located inside this plaza in Beverly Hills that you would never know about unless someone told you. Every time I've been, the waiters, service and management have been so nice and come check on you constantly. There are several sections in the restaurant (I think 3 but I could be wrong), but we've dined in the main room which has a retractable ceiling for when it's too sunny out, they have a bar area that has a small little lounge section in the back of it, and it looks like there may be another section that I haven't been to. The place definitely gives off those Latin vibes and you feel it once you arrive. As for the food, my boss ordered appetizers for the table, which were shrimp tacos, flautas, and empanadas which were all very good! My favorite were the flautas with guac. For my main dish I went with the Chilean sea bass with a side of broccolini and rice. That sea bass was phenomenal! It had a nice sweet glaze on it with a very slit crisp texture on the top. One of the best! The Hideaway goes down as one of my favorite spots in Beverly Hills and I highly recommend checking it out. OOOOO 5 out of 5 Afros

I found this cozy comfortable Mexican restaurant on Rodeo Drive tucked away in the lower level to be an awesome place to visit. The food was delicious and well prepared and drinks were quality liquor. It is a little tight in the bar area so our group was squeezing by each other, but it was fun nonetheless. I like the layout of the restaurant lots of nooks and places to explore. The host and servers were all great. I forgot to feed my parking meter and a friend happened to spot my car and called the restaurant. The host took the time to seek me out. I'll definitely come back to entertain friends and colleagues.

This place is awesome First off the ambiance is like Disneyland (in a good way). It feels like you're in Encanto or Coco. Very cool. The service and staff is top notch as you would expect in this part of town. The food is absolutely incredible the steak was cooked perfectly, the appetizer are delightful and plentiful. Great place for a meal or a party

The Food, Service & Ambiance 100% AMAZING!!! I celebrated my birthday here and it was truly the best celebration! The New York Wagyu steak was cooked to perfection and literally melted in my mouth! The queso dip was the best I've ever had and honestly I could have just ordered that and been perfectly satisfied. The drinks, chips and salsa were on point -- everything was delicious! A must go to restaurant!!!

The Hideaway is true to its name being tucked away in the Rodeo Collection. The center courtyard can seat quite a few people, but it's the private cabanas that draw people to the restaurant. Light and airy it makes you feel as if you're in Mexico. Eduardo and Juan were our servers and were charming and ever attentive. They took time to explain the menu selections and the differences between items that seemed similar. It's a warm, friendly atmosphere and we felt comfortable enough to ask the lovely ladies in the next cabana what they had ordered. The Lobster Avocados Salad. We also ordered sandwich de pollo, 3 types of empanadas and a shrimp appetizer. It was our Eleanor's 86th. birthday celebration and as a surprise they sent out the most delicious churros with whipped cream and chocolate dipping sauce. We arrived at 11:30 and left at 4:30z. At no time did they make us feel uncomfortable. Gracious and friendly as if we were in MEXICO. One tip. If parking in structure be sure to have your ticket validated. Only $15.00!!!

I've always wanted to come here, so my brother brought me for my birthday and it exceeded every expectation. Located right on Rodeo in Beverly Hills, this place delivers such a beautiful, upscale experience from the moment you walk in. The ambiance is stunning, the energy is lively, and you can tell it is a go to spot. Yes, parking is valet, which is not ideal, but once you are inside, everything else completely makes up for it. The service is truly top tier. The team is attentive, welcoming, and makes you feel taken care of the entire time. I had the chance to meet Kyle, the manager, who was amazing, and Taylor at the front was just as kind and accommodating. They really elevated the whole experience. Since it was my birthday, they went out of their way to make it special with champagne and ice cream, which I loved. Now the food and drinks were so good. I had the Donkey tequila drink, which is basically a margarita served inside a little donkey, such a fun and unique touch, and it tasted amazing. I also ordered an appetizer that was on the smaller side, but it was still really good and honestly did not take away from the experience because the meal itself was perfectly sized. We got the tomahawk steak with chimichurri, and it was incredible, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. One of my favorite parts of the experience was the table side service. They prepared part of the meal right in front of us, which made everything feel more interactive, elevated, and exciting, especially for a first visit and for a birthday. Overall, everything from the aesthetics to the service to the food was on point. This is one of those places that feels like an experience, not just dinner. I will absolutely be coming back!!!

This restaurant has an old-world charm - a mixture of boho Mexican with a Hollywood flare. I can see why it's called the hideaway because the inside does feel quite hidden with many rooms that are dim and rustic. Food was very tasty. We ordered the trio sampler and beef empanadas for starters. The sampler of tuna tartare fried taco, fish ceviche, and shrimp fried taco was so delicious. Beef empanadas were pretty good. For entrees, we had branzino and prime New York steak with chimichurri sauce. The steak was tender, cooked perfectly and very flavorful. And the branzino was also moist and delicious. Cocktail drinks were decent. Service was just decent. They were very busy, and our waitress was nice but quite rushy when taking orders. As much as the food was good overall, I do feel that the price point is too expensive. For example, the trio sampler portion was pretty small yet it costs $38. I know that it's intended to be a Mexican steakhouse, but to pay that high of price for upscale Mexican food really doesn't make sense when there are very good high-end Mexican restaurants elsewhere for cheaper.

Ambiance is the highlight here- it's very cozy vibes. They also have a happy hour that I need to try out. Food was pretty good and the wine was on point. I haven't tried their cocktails. Service was ok, they're all nice and do their jobs.

I had a business open table reception here. Here are my thoughts on this quaint "hideaway": Food: A. Super fresh, delicious and nutritious options with a wide variety. There were many fish options which is ideal with an exquisite wagyu beef taquito. Service: A+ The servers were attentive and quick to fetch whatever I asked for. There was always one of them present. One even brought me a glass of sparkling water to sip on for my drive home per my request. Ambiance: A+ Excellent decor in this hidden restaurant away from the street traffic of Rodeo Drive for your private non-paparazzi dining. You may not have people-watching views of the street but there's plenty of interesting viewing within the restaurant. Dietitian Dorothy's tips - Nutrition 4 Men: indulge in the fish for high protein low fat options. Nutrition 4 Ladies: skip the chips. Use the salsas and hot sauce to flavor your dish instead.

The caviar omakase is the must order thing here. Everything is very small bites, but if you are mostly there for drinks then à la carte is a good option. We ended up at the Maybourne Bar in the Maybourne hotel, a solid B+ lobby bar that I'd visit again under similar circumstances. The space was attractive but the vibe was strange, if not uncomfortable. Just weirdly bright lighting and a different crowd from the usual L.A. bar scene (hotel, Beverly Hills). It was pretty quiet at 10:00 on a Saturday night, and we were able to grab seats at the bar. Service was fast and polite. We ordered a Midas Touch and a Big in Japan, both decent cocktails that cost a full $30 apiece. The Midas Touch was a colorful spicy margarita with El Tesoro Maybourne Edition Reposado, Empirical Ayuuk, Grand Marnier Louis Alexandre, saffron, lemon, and honey. Big in Japan was a Gold Rush variation with Hibiki Harmony, sudachi honey, lemon, sansho pepper, and yuzu bitters. There are better, more interesting cocktail bars all over L.A., but I'd recommend the Maybourne Bar if you're staying at the hotel or otherwise looking for an upscale bar in downtown Beverly Hills. You can get food, too, though most of it seems to involve caviar.

The secret entrance is a ton of fun and the ambience is dark and mysterious and transports you to a land far away, all while not leaving LA. The drinks are spectacularly delicious and innovative. There is a theme (and entire experience) to each drink. The food is likewise excellent. The hot dogs from Tail o'the Pup are some of the best in the city and you can order directly from the downstairs hot spot, or order from the tailored menu to fit the tiki theme. The wait staff was super attentive. This is a great date spot or somewhere to come with friends. Just remember to book your reservations on Resy and then check the website for knowledge on how to get into the secret entrance. This is a top experience in LA!

TIKI DAVE had the opportunity to FINALLY hit The Lucky Tiki last night and boy was he impressed!…read more TIKI DAVE and WIFE OF TIKI DAVE pre-gamed a very good friend's 50th birthday at The Lucky Tiki from 5:30 - 7:00pm last night. Reservations are a must. Who doesn't love a Speakeasy and the Pickle Barrel entrance at the Tail 'o the Pup with the buzzer in the barrel was a cute touch. Once you're allowed entry, you are immediately transported to another world via beautifully decorated stairs to the check-in desk. The decor has got to be one of the best looking tiki bars out there. Wow, they hit this out of the park. The drink and food menu is fantastic in a wood covered binder. Naturally, we ordered the standard Mai Tai to start. The Lucky Tiki's take on the traditional 1944 Trader Vic Mai Tai is fantastic. Each Mai Tai comes with the Lucky Tiki swizzle stick and I happily kept the 3 we ordered to display in our home Tiki Bar. The wife ordered a second one while I took the waitress' recommendation and ordered The Maverick ("A Renegade of Rums, Cinnamon Syrup, White Grapefruit & Lime Juice, A Bold, Fiery, and Unapologetically Wild Ride, This Cocktail is for Those Who Live By Their Own Rules")...and coincidentally, this applies to me perfectly. The Maverick was awesome and came complete with a show of fire. We also ordered the Potstickers which were fantastic, especially dipped in their garlic teriyaki sauce. Wow! I wished we lived closer because I would hit this place A LOT. TIKI DAVE highly highly highly recommends THE LUCKY TIKI! I will be uploading video to my YouTube channel soon! dineLA experience 2 of 3…read more So far, the best bang for your buck. They really give you all the foods. The dineLA menu is good for 2 people. Those 2 people both get the following: bone broth- wow. Loved it Steak Tartare - so much, we couldn't finish braised beef cheek - practically melted like butter 3 oz filet with salad - by the time this came we thought they were playing. It felt like a proper entree, but there was more meat coming. We then shared an 11 oz ribeye w/ grilled broccolini and ended with the chocolate cake. In conclusion, we got so much food. We ended up with a bit of leftovers which worked out perfectly for me the following day. Their garlic bread was also so good. Great service and delicious food. It's been some time since I've eaten that much red meat.

We came to Matū for the Dinner for Two, and everything we were served was impeccable. The seasoning was spot on, the salt level was perfect, and every cut of meat was cooked beautifully. I'm a big fan of my steak on the rarer side, and Matū absolutely delivered. The braised beef cheek was probably the highlight of the night for me. It was unbelievably tender, rich, and one of the most memorable bites of the meal. After finishing the Dinner for Two, which really showcased the quality of the meat, we decided to split a cheesesteak since "that's what they're known for." When it arrived, it looked incredible. Unfortunately, that's where the excitement ended for me. The meat tasted oddly oily. I'm not sure if it was the cut, the preparation, or even the cheese, but it came across as heavy and greasy compared to the beautifully simple, clean flavors of the steak dinner. It was also underseasoned, and I found myself tasting the sesame seeds on the bread more than the filling itself. The chips were fresh and crunchy at first, but they lost their texture surprisingly quickly, so eat those immediately. Overall, I absolutely loved the steaks, sides, and cocktails, and I'll happily be back for those. But as for the cheesesteak? Once was more than enough.

The restrooms are clean and cute Parking is slim to none! What do you expect? It's on the Sunset Strip. I can't speak to the food as we stopped in for a quick beverage before heading down the road for our dinner... But what they were serving to other patrons looked and smelled delicious. It's small. Grab a seat at the bar (which is really about it...) and start your journey to the craft cocktails with one of their friendly staff and bartenders. Be there or be square

What's left is a joyless little room with indifferent management and service that can feel actively hostile. It can get very crowded, but... The energy is just off. It no longer feels warm or welcoming, and the type of crowd it attracts now can make the cramped space feel actually menacing. The staff also becomes strangely abrasive and aloof. Especially the younger male bartender who works on Fridays. I would never go again. Even trying to order another drink somehow feels like you're inconveniencing them. It's genuinely sad how they've managed to ruin what used to be a good thing. There is absolutely no reason to put up with this place when you could go to Cecconi's, the Tower Bar, Bar 1200 at the Sunset Marquis, Jones Hollywood, Laurel Hardware, Ysabel, the Roger Room, On the Rox, or Mic's instead. The name a few! Any one of them will give you a better room, a better atmosphere, and a much better evening. TBH, I would rather endure the mechanical-bull chaos of Saddle Ranch than spend another night dealing with the bizarre vibe here. That alone should tell you everything. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
