Out time there was a wonderful experience. Must certainly a younger crowd, which is understandable know the proximity to the university but still a magnificent time. Service was quick, and the drinks were on point. We were already a bit plastered coming from a Super Bowl celebration, but despite how busy they were they were still able to provide us with drinks within minutes. I asked for a spiced rum and coke, which even though not my drink of should, it was what I was stuck with the whole night because of the avatar the super bowl party. I can't wait to go back when I in Boca again. Based on my one time observation, O'Brian's is a blast!

I chose to sit at the bar and the bartender was very attentive, I had 2 beers and "potato skins - $11.00 tasty but lacking seasoning" and "zucchini fries $9.00 crispy and very tasty". The only problem here is finding parking nearby.

Allow me to clear the air. Moons is a Dive Bar. It's dark, it's smokey, there's A pool table and a couple dart boards. Guess what else it has... A fabulous staff, stiff drinks, great prices and a convenient location for those of us in N.Boca. There's also a ton of tv's, a jukebox packed full of favorites and the bathrooms are clean. Does it feel like your neighbor made his garage into a bar? Yes. Is it smokey and full of questionable characters? Maybe, but that depends on the night and your overall take on the bar scene. Me, I enjoy a cigar from time to time & people watching and chatting regardless of their social level is something I find fun on occasion. So if you're like me and have a soft spot in your heart, and liver, for a local dive bar, then Moons is Definitely worth checking out.

This place likes to proactively make a vibe, with music, good personnel and a space that is ready for something to pop. I had heard that it had a second floor, but in the mall area of Mizner it was in it didn't seem possible, even as we walked up to the place. But sure enough, there was a whole upstairs dinner area that was cool second area. We tried other friends bites, and had a couple goods drinks. It had been the Whistle Stop for I don't know how long. There was some change and I was driving by the other day and figured lets see what the new set up is. It's pretty similar from what I recalled from the previous name and place. Very High ceilings, a Sports bar vibes. There's a few TV's for games on but not a ton of them. I grabbed a spot at the bar and tried to get a drink. There was one gal bartending, and maybe 15 people hanging out. She had some patrons or friends that she was talking to. In between she was organizing a few things. It was almost 10 minutes of waiting to see if she would walk over mt way or make eye contact but no such luck. Their was some political talk goign on and a small aroma, maybe the bar mats, but I was about done waiting. I'm sure I'll give it another shot sometime, as this trip was a strike out as I finally left.
