Hawaiian Ahi and Spicy Ahi poke bowls
    Kai C.

Huge interior and exterior seating. They have free street parking and free garage parking lot adjacent in the building. Fast fresh flavors and lots of options to customize. It has one of the largest spaces I've seen for a poke spot. They even have a Foosball table which is kind of random quirky but fun idea.

Worst portions ever!!!!!! I could count how much edamame there is here. You charge for extras but give nothing. This is the least amount of food I've ever been given for the price. Shameful. Never go here. 90% rice 10% everything else.

Recently stumbled upon Pokeworks after moving to the neighborhood. After 3-4 visits, I'm sold. Top 3 poke restaurant in LA, with ease. Customer service is excellent every time I've visited. Their staff is extremely kind, and Zerya has recommended new combinations that have changed how I order Poke! A+ service and ambiance. Lunch on their outdoor patio is slowly starting to become a ritual during my busy workweeks. You can't beat the quality and price!

Having worked next to a poke place, I've been tired of that concept for some time now. But this place has restored my faith in raw fish done well. With a variety of tunas, salmons and even lobster (!) it was fun choosing my flavors but honestly I loved the options of sides too including avocado, seaweed salad and kale. I had their house dressing which wasn't overly sweet and pretty perfect. They have designer bowls which I'll probably try next time. On a side note, Mama Musubi which is only available at farmers market will eventually be at this location as well - I remember them being pretty delicious so I'm looking forward to that as well.

Decided to give Pokeworks a try and I'm glad I stopped by because their selection is great! Had the lobster poke with chili crisp to spice it up and I think this may be my go to spot whenever I'm in Hollywood.

Large bowl like a small Poke Bowl - Large (3 Proteins)

I've been a regular customer at this place for quite some time, coming here at least once a week. Unfortunately, every visit has become more disappointing than the last. The staff is polite, but clearly poorly trained by the owner. There is absolutely no consistency. Every time I order a Large bowl, the portion size depends on who's serving -- sometimes it's reasonable, other times it's ridiculously small. The scoops are inconsistent, and more than once I've been given what looks like half a scoop of fish being counted as a full portion. When you question it, they tell you that if you want more, you have to pay extra -- which is unacceptable considering how expensive the poke already is. There is also a promotion advertised saying that if you spend over $25, you get $5 off. This feels misleading. I usually spend around $42 (ordering for myself and my wife) and have never received this discount. Even the owner couldn't properly explain how the promotion works. This place seriously lacks standards, transparency, and proper management. The owner needs to train the staff better and understand what consistency and customer service really mean. It's no surprise the place gets emptier every time I go. Very disappointed. I won't be coming back, and I can't recommend this place to anyone until major improvements are made.

I've been a regular at their Irvine location for years, so I'm excited to finally get the same poke bowl here in LA. This new spot just opened this week and has plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. I love all the toppings and customization options you can add to the bowl. I got build-your-own bowl where you can choose: - base: white rice, brown rice, salad, or +$1 for ramen noodle - proteins: salmon, spicy salmon, tuna, spicy tuna, shrimp, chicken, tofu, lobster surimi. Large is 3 scoops and regular is 2 scoops. - add mix-ins: add your vegetables or fruits, highly suggest getting their mandarin oranges or mango if you choose salmon as your protein. Such a great combo! - sauce: Pokeworks classic, umami shoyu, sweet shoyu, sweet chili gochujang, siracha aioli, Serrano aioli, ponzu fresh, Hawaiian salt and chili. Tbh I wasn't a huge fan of Serrano aioli based on the toppings I got for my bowl. Next visit, I probably would just go with pokework classic, which is a ginger sesame vinaigrette. - add ons: toppings and crunches are available at the end. I recommend seaweed salad and surimi salad! You can even add avocado for $1 more or masago for $0.50 more. Be sure to add some crunch like dried onions! They give your bowl the perfect texture boost.

Look at this bomb bowl thank you Darren & Nana.

Thank you for this sexy poke bowl Darren & Nana! Super fresh poke! Highly recommend. Excited to have this spot in the neighborhood.

My friend wanted me to try something new and since I had never had poke before, All About Poke fit the bill! We walked in around 6:45pm on a Wednesday. We were the only customers inside, but the two young women working behind the counter were bustling making Uber Eats/Door Dash orders, which was fine with me as it gave my friend and I time to look at all the options on the menu. The staff were friendly and quick, so when we were ready to order, it didn't take long before we were cashed out and eating. Inside there were several tables and chairs and since there was no one else inside, we had no problem grabbing a table. It was pretty clean inside and music played over speakers to make sure there was no dead air. For dinner, I ordered a medium poke bowl: brown rice base, three (good-sized) scoops of tofu, House Sauce, topped with avocado (small upcharge), cucumber, cilantro, and the "Whole Shebang" (fried garlic, sesame seed, fried onion, and furikake), with a small sample of wasabi on the side of the bowl and a cup of wasabi mayo for my free, extra sauce, as well as a cherry vanilla Olipop to wash it all down. I am really impressed, the poke bowl was delicious and surprisingly filling! The tofu tasted great, I was glad I added avocado which added a little creaminess to the bowl, and their House Sauce was great! Every ingredient in this bowl came together nicely! But if you need to clear your sinuses, get the wasabi - Wooo, my eyes were watering and my nose was running from that! The wasabi mayo is much milder, thank goodness, and was a nice, small addition. The medium-size was surprisingly filling and I think the price reflected that well. I did want a sweet treat to round out my meal, so I grabbed a vanilla macaron, which had vanilla ice cream in the middle, as well. The ice cream inside was creamy and the macaron had great texture with plenty of vanilla, a nicely sized treat! For my first time having a poke bowl, I think All About Poke did a great job! Friendly and quick customer service, fresh ingredients, and good-size portions, what more could I ask for? I wouldn't mind at all coming back for lunch or dinner.

To make matters worse, my poke bowl had noticeably less food than I've received at other 8 Oz Poke locations, and it wasn't nearly as flavorful as the Encino location. The quality and portion were both underwhelming. I was also surprised to find there's an additional fee if you want to sit and eat there. After an unpleasant interaction, a smaller and less flavorful meal, an extra dine-in fee, and then being prompted for a tip, the whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth. I won't be returning to this location. If you have the option, I'd recommend going to the Encino location instead.
