I went here with my partner for dinner on Sunday and the food and service was excellent. The server was friendly and quick, and the food was very tasty. We brought our family and friends here this afternoon and got the exact opposite. The same food we ordered was nowhere near the same. Sliders were way over cooked for most people and my partner expressed that his food was way better last time. The food also took quite some time to come out. The waitress we had this time was ok, but didn't seem too concerned when we told her about the disappointing meal. I don't think I'd come back here with a chance for a bad meal. There is clearly some consistency issues that ruin this restaurant as a whole. I'd recommend somewhere else. read more

This place was okay. We had the calamari, wings, Rodeo Burger, and pizza with grilled chicken. The pizza was just regular nothing special about it at all. I think a regular pizzeria would have had better pizza. The calamari were super breaded and way too crispy. I was able to just pinch the breading off. I would consider a lighter breading. The wings were actually good. I would say everything is just regular here nothing special. The only thing is the nice view of the lake. I love eating with a view! My wife and I went to The Lagoon for dinner last night and it was amazing! The staff is very polite and quick and got us a table on the deck with a great view of the lake right away! We ordered two flights of beer samplers from their brewery and the beers were amazing and flavorful! I loved their menu and they even had a "make your own pizza option" which we tried out. The pizza was hot and very delicious! They also had live music going on and the overall experience was amazing! 5/5 stars! read more

There was a bit of a wait (30mins) on a weekend during tourist season. But the staff handled it well and took down our phone number so we didn't have to sit there and wait. We ordered the shrimp as an appetizer (quite expensive but tasty), a kids meal, and the 4-cheese pizza. The pizza was soooo good! I wish we had gotten a bigger size. There was a live acoustic guitar performer there during dinner time which added to the fun atmosphere. Staff was friendly and attentive. Bathrooms were clean. It was rainy so we didn't get to enjoy the patio but it had a pretty nice view of the lake. I noticed a previous reviewer complained that patrons had to wear masks but staff did not (maybe they're vaccinated?) - we were not asked to wear a mask but we're also vaccinated, and that's the general guideline in NYS right now. read more

And we also had the fish and chips (tater tots in place of chips). The fried fish was humongous and also a bit bland. On the other hand, the tater tots were great, but really, you can't mess that up. Sat for 10 minutes next to a table that wad told the same things as we were as we both watched servers and other staff chat socially and ignore us all. I don't know if this might be considered ok in Lake George but the lagoon is situated at the end of a small shopping center that isn't very clean. Old cigarette butts and other random trash littered the walkway as you approach the restaurant. It was a little bit of a wait to eat outside. Now, be forewarned. If you like seafood there are a number of items on the menu that will sound great. The execution is another story. Lobster fries? Sign me up? But this ended up being lobster meat served over fries that were just absolutely murdered. The order of "steamers". Yeah, not steamers but steamed clams - a distinction new Englanders will know. The warm lobster roll was decent. The surf and turf sliders sounded like a nice idea with a lobster claw and a filet medallion on it. But there was no additional sauces and the filets were charred shoe leather. Meanwhile the wait to get food was interminable. 40 minutes to appetizers. Yikes. Best food in Lake George hands down. I come to Lake George every year and every place in town that is not an expensive restaurant has the same basic food. The food here is amazing and affordable. My fiancé and I went for a drink around six on Saturday. The whole place was packed and I now I know why. The staff is super friendly and they gave great service. This was the first restaurant we tried upon arriving here at Lake George. The food came rather quickly so that gave me some pause. I got grilled chicken BLT. The chicken was dry and bread under toasted. And no way the guacamole was fresh..Tater tots which I usually enjoy were salty. Other items from our order included eggplant sandwich which was too greasy. Kids had no complaints about chicken parm and pasta. Sauce probably came from a jar, which can be hit or miss. So glad we didn't order any apps. Server was nice but had to ask for more water even though the place was just about empty. One of the hostess was annoyed that we were there when our table wasn't ready and said out loud in front of us "why are they waiting here?"
