We had previously gone to the Nomad Bar and were impressed with the dood and service, however it's currently closed for renovations so I made us a reservation at the restaurant. It's just like a library inside with walls of books which is great. I did find the tables were pretty close together (luckily we were seated at a 4 person table so had more space). We did the summer menu, which was a great way to try everything. My friend had the chicken, which she said was good. I enjoyed the risotto, but glad I added the ! Service was a bit slow; our cocktail's didnt come out until after the first course and right before the second course. When we ordered wine and coffee after the second course, it took a bit of time as well. Would definitely go back for the food. Service definitely needs an upgrade! read more

Everything that we ate was spectacular. The filet mignon was cooked so well and the crudo was so flavorful. I was honestly surprised by the dessert as these aren't option I normally see. The restaurant is amazing! This is a great place to have a really nice dinner. The ambiance is soooo cool, with the books and the carpeting, it's a lot more quiet than other places. Even when busy. The food was quite good and reasonably priced. We didn't realize that the entrees were served family style making it easy to share and enjoy a lot of things on the menu, otherwise we would have ordered entrees differently. We tried the Gruyère popovers and the tuna tartare, which were both good. The Crab mac & cheese and the mashed potatoes (so good) were our sides, and Beef short rib pithivier with a foie gras mignonet was our main. All the food was GREAT! This place was absolutely outstanding and I know that the place is a little pricey, but I feel like for what you can expect to pay in Vegas, they do not disappoint, tried several food options and all of them were fantastic. I've been to the old no mad library twice that's why we can back a this time. My pork chops was on the dry side. The breading was so thick it didn't stick. My sister had to send back her filet, tuff. She go the scallops which she likes. They changed the chicken to a stuffed chicken breast and my brother in law didn't say anything but he didn't finish it. My wife liked here scallops. First off, the vibes of The Nomad Library restaurant is everything . It's huge and filled with thousands of real books ! The ambiance is dark and sophisticated . We were greeted right away by the hostess who led us to our beautiful corner lit table . Our waitress was really sweet and took our drink orders along with our food . Here's my foodie review-- CRAB DIP: I am a huge seafood lover and unfortunately, this was one of the least loved bites of the night . The crab itself was really fishy to the point where we couldnt even finish it shared between four people . POPOVERS: Such an exquisite bite . The bread was served warm, fluffy, and so fun to eat . The cheddar and whipped butter was the icing on the cake . MUST-TRY ! PRIME 18OZ RIBEYE: The steak was cooked medium just how we asked and was sooo decadent . The ribeye just melts in your mouth and there was not a trace left of the truffle porcini butter because it was THAT amazing . Highly recommend ! Im going to be honest, I can't remember the drinks that we had, but they all were pretty top notch . The presentation was instagram-worthy and we all had about two drinks each . Simply beautiful restaurant, total vibe, everything perfect about the way it's decorated. Our wait staff was also excellent, attentive, friendly, timely, knowledgeable, all around excellent. My first visit to The Library at Park MGM was excellent. The service was warm, and the decor made for a very inviting atmosphere. We were seated immediately and I started with a Sidecar that was perfectly balanced. Our server, Shayne I think was his name, offered suggestions at my request and he helped me choose what became my favorite dish of the evening. The highlight of the meal was definitely the Branzino, it arrived hot and was packed with flavor from the garlic, ginger, and fresh herbs. The pork chop was massive and moist, though it could have used a touch more seasoning, and the creamy spinach with crispy onions was a standout side. While the crab mac and cheese lacked big chunks of crab, it was still cheesy and flavorful. Overall, a fantastic experience with top-notch food and service! read more

This restaurant is a stunning two-story space lined with over 25,000 real books. The space is dark and dimly lit, elegant and romantic. When the hostess opened the doors to show us in, the restaurant took my breath away. I knew it was going to be a special evening. From Shane's excellent service to the beautifully crafted cocktails and delicious food, it was a wonderful experience. We started with cocktails, an old-fashioned for my husband and a bees knees for me. We ordered the gruyère popovers and shared the Caesar salad to begin. The popovers were divine. Hubby had the ribeye cap with potato purée. The ribeye was cooked to a perfect medium rare and was very tender. The potatoes were light and heavenly. I can attest to both because of course I snagged a few bites. I ordered the lobster Bolognese, which was tender and sweet lobster served with bucatini pasta in a delicious red sauce. Always love to try somewhere new when I go to Vegas and man this place checked all boxes. The vibe when you walk in almost feels like and old school speakeasy but then you enter the "library" and it's so beautiful. The service was top notch and our waiter, Shane, was really professional and knowledgeable about the menu. I had the filet and my wife had the chicken. Both were cooked to perfection, tender and juicy. The roasted chicken could have had a little more color on tho. It was a little unappealing to the eye, but tasted amazing. I also had to corn, which I loved. I highly recommend the popover, which was to die for. We tried the baked Alaska dessert, which was okay. Surprised my bf with reservations at the Nomad Library. From the moment we walked in, we both gasped at how gorgeous the space was! The menu is relatively small but I kind of like that. I feel like this restaurant is underrated. It was my first time dining here, and I was amazed by how beautiful and elegant the interior is. I especially love the library aesthetic. At first, I thought the books were just for decoration, but our server assured me they were real. When I picked one up, it was surprisingly heavy, which made me appreciate the decor even more. I've always been fascinated by books and that whole aesthetic it's just so beautiful to me. For the food, I ordered the oysters, which were fresh and light, and the baby kale salad. Let me tell you, I eat a lot of salads, and this one definitely stood out. It was delicious, and the dressing complemented it perfectly. The yellowtail crudo was also light and refreshing. My boyfriend ordered the Hangar Steak with chimichurri, and he truly enjoyed it, rating it excellent. The cocktails? Phenomenal. The service? Even better. When we booked a table at the Nomad Library, we figured this would be one of those "gimmick" restaurants with clever décor and mediocre food. Boy. Were we wrong. You enter the room through thick velvet drapes and are presented with a beautiful, dignified "gentlemen's club library" vibe, with high ceilings, heavy leather furniture, classic woodwork and real bound books - 25,000 of them, we were told. Lighting is dramatic and the impact is immediate, warm and cozy. Wonderful. One subtle standout, by the way, is that seating is well spaced. You don't feel crammed into the room. Everyone is well spread out, as you would expect in a formal, classic club. The food? It could not have been better. The Heirloom Tomato Salad, served with Mozzarella and a Green Gazpacho dressing, was spectacular - and how excited do you usually get over a salad? My salmon was wonderful too and my partner's filet was done to perfection. The Chocolate Decadence desert was almost too beautiful to eat but . . . well, it didn't last long. We're also going to rave about the service. Our table team was pleasant, efficient, helpful and personable, without being overly intrusive, and even asked if we had any food allergies or were on a timetable because of a show. The meal was perfectly paced, too, and one minor mix-up on the steak temperature was corrected so quickly that we were actually surprised. The moment you step through the Curtains you are transported into a dim-lit magical mahogany library with winding staircases and rows and rows of shelves stuffed with books! We got to dine in the back private room with our bachelorette party. Everything was delicious! My favorite dishes were the Branzino fish and the dessert. For an app, we got the popover & unfortunately it didn't come out hot so the cheese was cold, meh :/ For entrees, my husband ordered the filet that tasted good but it wasn't seared. I ordered the hangar steak with chimichurri & fried shallots which was really tasty. Glad my steak had a nice sear & the side salad was a great compliment to the meat. For sides, we got the whipped mashed potatoes (so good!) & the mushrooms which unfortunately lacked flavor for us & didn't think the type of mushrooms used were a great choice. Service was great though & I love their decor. Just wish we had more space away from other diners though, it felt like we were having dinner with another couple & it didn't help that one of them kept complaining about the dessert she got ugh lol . Would recommend asking for another table if possible if this happens another time/place. This was the cutest place! I came for my birthday with my boyfriend. The decor is dark and moody, which I love, although I think the music doesn't really match the aesthetic. We got the cheddar pop over which was very light and cheesy and the Yellowtail Crudo. The Yuzu Ponzo that came with the crudo was a tad too salty in our opinion. My boyfriend ordered the roasted chicken, which was very good. The truffle mashed potatoes were delicious although the spinach that came with the chicken was a bit salty. I ordered the Branzino and the roasted broccolini. Both were very delicious. I do think the Branzino could've had a little bit more of the chili crisp mentioned on the menu. For drinks, I ordered the butterfly cocktail and and an empress 75 which we're both very good. The butterfly cocktail was very sweet and easy to sip. The empress 75 was a strong one! For dessert, my boyfriend got the chocolate tart I had caramel on the inside was very decadent and since it was my birthday, they gave me a cotton candy. That was very cute. Exceptional services, from the hosts, to the waiters, to the wine persons, or the bartenders and even to the runners.
