I've seen so many people rave about this place, so maybe that's where I set my standards a little too high. I brought my dad here for his birthday and, to start off, the place is absolutely beautiful and the host greeted us quickly and warmly. One small thing was our table was wobbling, which normally wouldn't matter much, but when you're spending a good amount of money, it's the overall experience that counts. Fixing a shaky table is a pretty easy touch that could make a difference. I work in the industry myself not somewhere nearly as upscale as this but I honestly felt like the service lacked attentiveness. This restaurant has so much potential to be an incredible experience because it's such a unique spot on the Strip. Unfortunately, our server didn't really walk us through the drinks menu and didn't seem very knowledgeable about the cocktails or liquor selection. We ordered the porterhouse bone-in steak and were never guided on pairings or recommended temperatures unless we specifically asked. We also sat with empty plates for quite a while and never got the opportunity to order another round of drinks. Again, the restaurant itself is stunning and I'm grateful I got to experience it, especially for my Dads birthday, but I left wishing the service had felt a little more accommodating and polished to match the atmosphere. read more

My gf and her hubby surprised me with 5pm reservation on a Friday evening. Although it was an early dinner, so glad we came early. We were the first to be seated and it was all up and up from there. Got to enjoy the restaurant's beautifulness and ambiance before it was extremely crowded. And yes I have videos and pics of everything I could. I was so elated I finally got in. We got a nice booth to enjoy all the food and 2 bottles we ordered. Romero was amazing as he knew his wine and champs. Wait staff were perfect and attentive. Went to Nomad with a good friend. He had pre ordered a Tomahawk steak, it was around $300. It arrived at the table well done, shameful! We tried to talk to the Manager but they refused to make it right. The Manager refused to do anything about it and only offered some weird cotton candy pop rocks dessert, yuck! My dinner at NoMad was my favorite meal in Vegas. Staff was super conscious of timing and asked us if we had show tickets so that they could make sure we get out in time. The most stunning ambiance. For all my bibliophiles, though this is an expensive dinner, the food and views will surely make the value seem reasonable. I started with a Nod to Nothing: a gin and jasmine cocktail. Loved it so much I had two. I had the daily fish special entree. My server had me at "Chilean Sea Bass" with squid ink. My friends and I shared the macaroni and cheese, which was a good size for sharing. My friends had the scallops and filet (with bone marrow). My table also shared the cookies and cream creme brulee for dessert and WOW. The classic custard dessert had a side of house made chocolate cookies (oreo-esque) and ice cream. The cookies were SO delicious, but the ice cream... I'm not even a super fan of ice cream with dessert, but this ice cream was so creamy and dreamy. The creme brulee was exquisite too. I always love the ambiance and atmosphere here. We came here after UFC 313. We were seated immediately. They had live music which we always enjoy. We had drinks and lots of food. Everything was delicious. We had the tuna tartare, grilled cheese sandwich, shrimp, prime rib sandwich, chips and dip, and I think that's it. Everything came out cooked to perfection. Every year, my girlfriend and her family spend Thanksgiving in Vegas. We usually stay at Aria, but lately, we've been staying at Park MGM, which I actually prefer because everything we like is right there: Best Friends, Eataly, No-Mad.. But definitely not because of their outdated rooms. Lol Last Thanksgiving, after our annual (and underwhelming) family dinner at Carmine's sorry, not sorry, we decided to check out NoMad Bar. Their pre-fix menu looked incredible, and I told my partner, next time we're in Vegas, we're eating here instead. We grabbed seats at the bar, where our bartender, Stephanie, took excellent care of us. She introduced us to some dangerously delicious cocktails one, in particular, the Pink Elephant, stood out. My partner and her sister love a good Old Fashioned, and while NoMad's was top tier, the Pink Elephant stole the show that night. Fast forward three months February 8th, we were back in Vegas for Janet Jackson's concert at Resorts World. Even though we were staying at Mandalay Bay this time, all we could talk about were those Pink Elephant cocktails. So, naturally, we made our way back to NoMad, this time for a full dinner experience and to introduce one of our friends to our newfound favorite drink. Food: Lamb Shank - 3/5 Big disappointment at first. It came out cold to the touch, like it had just been pulled from the fridge and forgot to turn the oven on when placed inside. After waiting over 30 minutes, that was frustrating. The sides, however were fantastic, the mashed potatoes were buttery perfection, and the mushrooms were divine. We had to send the lamb back, and by the time the second (properly heated) shank arrived, we had already finished our appetizers and sides. The redo was delicious, but it didn't hit the same after the wait. Tempura Sweet Potato with Curried Jam - 3/5 Nice concept but nothing mind-blowing. Brussels Sprouts - 4.5/5 Loved the glaze and the pomegranate seeds added the perfect pop. Perfectly crisp would definitely order again. Crudo - 4.5/5 So fresh, so bright. The citrus sauce was everything. I wish I had ordered one just for myself. Turnover Puff - 2/5 Wouldn't recommend. It tasted like a hollow Pillsbury biscuit, and they really should have served it with honey, maple butter, or something to elevate it. Scallops - 2.5/5 Usually, I love scallops, but these were bland and slightly chewy. Maybe a different puree or sauce could've saved this dish. Drinks Pink Elephant - 5/5 An absolute must-try. Order it, love it, thank me later. Old Fashioned: 4.5/5 Service: Excellent. The team was incredibly attentive and apologetic about the lamb issue. They handled everything with grace. Ambience: The space is stunning. A grand library setting with dim lighting, rich velvet and suede seating, and deep, moody colors. It's both sophisticated and cozy, perfect for a date night or a chic night out with friends. Would I return? Absolutely. But if you're not in the mood for a full dinner, I'd highly recommend just stopping by the bar for some amazing cocktails. And if you do, don't leave without trying the Pink Elephant! read more

I sat next to my Boyfriend and Mom and I was shouting like I was in the club. We just ended up not even talking to each other. As soon as we mentioned not everyone is drinking service disappeared? We sat for almost 30mins before we were able to order. we ordered 3 apps and 4 entrees. Some reason Appetizers NEVER came out? They said they were removing our Appetizer plates for our main course and we noted that we had Apps. The waiter came back and asked us AGAIN what we ordered... like OMG. We got our Entrees then we waited 30mins and ended up waving the busser down to grab our waiter? And he apologies AGAIN says the order was CUT? We made an order again! But only 1 of 3 came out.... we ended up not even getting all the dishes we orderd like 3 times! The Waiter fuked up and blamed the kitchen every time. I didn't even get his name it was so damn loud. Wait time for initial greeting by waiter once seated at our table was 15 min. We ordered our apps and drinks and apps came out but we had to ask again for our drinks. Most of us finished our apps before our drink order even came. Wives ordered pasta and salads and they seemed happy. The guys ordered the pork chop. The table was shaking so bad when I was trying to cut through it. It wasn't cooked well at all. I felt like I was ripping through flesh. Anyone who has had a good pork chop at a restaurant knows a good one because it practically melts in your mouth. Both of us ended up leaving 3/4+ of the pork chop on our plates and not once did the waiter check in to see if it was okay or if anything was up. Staff came and cleared the table like all was good and we didn't even get asked for a second round of drinks before the bill was dropped. I understand it's Valentine's Day dinner and maybe there were lots of reservations but try to make the dining experience a good one from start to finish. It was a miss from the beginning but for as busy as it was I'm sure many others had a great time. Gorgeous collection of scotch & bourbon. We had a cocktail at The Nomad Library while waiting for The Magician Study to begin. My husband noticed they had full stock of the Game of Thrones whisky's. We had our bartender make us an old fashioned with the House Stark Winter's Frost whisky. The library was gorgeous, and the pianist transported us to some sort of elegant New York cigar club. This could have been a 5 star experience with better service. We came here for dinner our last night in Vegas, mostly because we were staying at the NoMad hotel so thought it'd be easy and convenient. They send an aggressive email beforehand to not be more than 5 minutes late or your reservation is lost, but then we had to wait 15 minutes to be seated. When we ordered our food and drinks, we hadn't been planning on any appetizers - our server told us that the mains don't actually come with any sides and that their descriptions are a bit misleading. We appreciated the advice and asked if we could have a couple minutes to figure out what sides or apps to add on. He said sure, and then.... Never came back. By the time he checked back up on us, our mains had already arrived. When we told him it was celebrating a birthday dinner, he literally didn't respond and ignored us - it was so awkward! A different server brought a scoop of lemon gelato after we were done eating, so our server had actually heard, but it was an uncomfortable situation. The food and drinks were really good although pricey. The ambience is beautiful, being a book lover myself. I probably wouldn't return or recommend though. read more

I wish I could write a separate review for the bar area, but I give the restaurant an overall decent score because of the good service in the dining room. Arrived way early for our reservation and they were accommodating and allowed us to change the reservation to an earlier slot. We did have to wait about 20 minutes so we opted to have a cocktail at the bar. Bar - there were no open seats at the counter, and the bar is relatively small for the size of this place. We managed to snag one of only 2 cocktail tables in the bar area. Here is where, in my opinion, the service lacked any type of standards and was somewhat of an uncomfortable situation for both us (our table) and the couple that was sitting at the bar/counter directly in front of us. There was no cocktail server, so the bartender shouted across the bar in front of the couple sitting in front of her to take our order. I thought "wow, that's awkward." I then told my husband "I hope she doesnt expect us to get up and get our drinks directly in front of this couple". But sadly she did. The couple was eating food at the bar counter and the bartender says "excuse me" to them and then puts our drinks on the counter in between the couple and lets us know our drinks are there. I told my husband, DO NOT be rude and go grab the drinks in between that couple, especially while they were trying to eat. I pointed to the one empty seat at the bar a few seats over, and asked him to tell the bartender to put the drinks in that empty spot and go get the drinks from over there. Which he did. Seriously, come on! How rude was that of the bartender to do that. This is a pretty high end fancy restaurant! This isnt a night club where rows of people are crammed trying to get to the bar in the first place. What the bartender did to us and the other couple was super unclassy, and unappreciated. There was also this young man that came over to refill our waters at the table. He reached across me to pour water and ended up completely dripping water drenching my legs. I had to ask him to stop. He did. But then he proceeds to try and pour water reaching over me again, wetting me again. So I had to say to him "you know, you could just pick up the glass and pour the water next to you instead". So he did. But come on. We had to get a stack of cocktail napkins so I could dry off after my bath! We made our way to the main dining room when our table was ready. Its a swanky dark place oozing with old books and cool decor. Our server was super friendly and good. We ordered parsnip soup, shrimp cocktail, scallop entree, rib-eye steak, and baked Alaska along with more cocktails at the table and a good bottle of wine with dinner. Everything was tasty and we quite enjoyed it overall. My only complaint about the space is: we sat at a small 2 top table along the walls where there is banquette style seating with padded seating and pillows (which was comfortable) but the base on the small 2 seat tables was ridiculously large! So much so that I could not sit straight forward comfortably with my feet on the ground because of the base on the table being so big. It prevented me from being able to close my legs sitting at the table, and I was wearing a short dress. So, I had to sit slightly sideways the entire meal in order to cross my legs under the table. For a man, this really isnt an issue, but for a woman in a dress, it was a bit of an awkward feeling. read more

There is a definite Harry Potter dining hall vibe going on, which I adore. Our server was fantastic - professional without being stuffy; and fun without being too familiar. We started with the Oysters Combo, which combines raw oysters with Rockefeller-style ones. Very good. Their popovers are addictive (as these things almost always are). We shared the NY Strip which was perfectly done and delicious. The "Ridiculous Mac & Cheese" is indeed ridiculously delicious and a bargain at $29 for a generous side serving. I was really excited to try this restaurant. I have been trying to go for a couple weeks and had an idea of what I wanted to order. They took everything that I wanted to order off of their menu! I was so disappointed, I wanted to try the lobster risotto, the chicken stuffed with foie gras and the Chilean sea bass, so sad. I ended up ordering the Rockefeller oysters, which was horrible because they didn't shuck it very well and I kept eating all the shells. I couldn't really find a fish that I wanted that was comparable to the Chilean Sea bass, I hate it when restaurants try to put an inferior fish like the halibut and price it the same as the Chilean Sea bass! Noooo, the halibut was dry and it was terrible. I couldn't even finish it. I ordered the million dollar lobster truffle Mac and cheese and that was super dry and the lobster was dry too. My wife and I had this placed bookmarked for a Vegas date night out for a little over a year now and it was well worth the wait. First, remember, you are going to a fancy restaurant in Las Vegas so you have to be ready for the sticker shock of what you will spend on a dinner. If you can get past that, you will have an amazing night out here. First of all, the restaurant itself is gorgeous! All of the old books on the walls are real, you an read them if you wanted and they really set the scene. The tables are spread out enough so you aren't on top of one another when you eat and it's a normal talking level of volume in there so you can have a conversation without having to yell or whisper. We had table 33, the back corner, and Daniel was our server for the night. He was amazing, courteous and we never felt rushed in any way during the meal. It looked that way across the restaurant as this is not a place in which they are trying to flip tables as quickly as possible which was so nice to just take our time on a meal and relax. We had the Hamachi and the fried artichokes to start. Both were so good! The Hamachi with the watermelon was amazing and the artichoke was a large amount of food actually and equally as delicious. For dinner, my wife had the scallops and I had the filet. Again, both were prepared excellently and the flavors were wonderful. The fries as a side were underwhelming, but I wanted the crunch. The ridiculous mac and cheese was decadent and worth it! So much cheese and lobster. We ordered the "cookies and cream" for dessert and it ended up being a creme brulee with two housemade oreos. That was a fun surprise since the dessert menu doesn't exactly say everything to what the items are but we were full and just didn't want to leave so we picked on a whim. This was a wonderful place to have a special occasion dinner or if you just want to feel super fancy for a night. They also have a really nice looking bar that you can just head in and sit at with about 10-15 seats should you forget to get a reservation. Well worth the cost! read more

The Library is one of our favorite restaurants on the Strip. The food is outstanding. The service is some of the best you will find ANYWHERE, and the ambiance is very unique and cool with two stories of actual books on shelves surrounding you along with beautiful, stately decor. The staff is incredibly attentive, but not overbearing in any way. One of the better overall dining experiences available in any hotel/casino property in Vegas. I was ready to love NoMad Library, but it wasn't an impeccable experience. We made a reservation in advance. Despite multiple texts to confirm the reservation, we still had to wait a bit to be seated after checking in. We had plans to see a show after dinner, so the wait made us a little anxious. When our table was ready, our name was called and they took us behind the curtain to unveil a beautiful library. The library ambiance is upscale and classy, but I would've liked to learn more about the space. Another table got a spiel from the waiter about the books, and he noted that they could peruse any book they wanted - we were not given such spiel. Our waiter was friendly and gave some great menu recommendations. He acknowledged our post-dinner engagement, which we had noted in the reservation. However, sometimes it seemed like he would disappear behind another curtain, and it was difficult to find an available staff member to refill a drink, pack up a dish, etc. It seems like they rely more on the library ambiance itself than providing exceptional service. We ordered the following: - Tuna Tartare (for two; prepared tableside) - Foie Gras Torchon - Ricotta Cavatelli - my favorite dish of the night; served with black truffles and Parmesan - Gnocchi Cacio e Pepe - Wild Mushrooms - Brussel Sprouts - Pommes Aligot We were also treated to a Gruyère popover to start the meal, which was a nice gesture. It's fun to see the tuna tartare mixed tableside, but I would've enjoyed a more engaging experience. The waiter didn't enhance the experience with any introductions of ingredients or inquiries about customizations. Fortunately, I chimed in and was able to request less heat and horseradish. The lack of interaction defeats the purpose of doing it tableside, in my opinion. The pasta dishes were my favorite and the main reason for the four-star rating; I would come back again solely for the pasta dishes. Both the ricotta cavatelli and gnocchi cacio e pepe had strong flavor profiles. Each bite of pasta was warm and inviting, and prices were reasonable. I'm also just a sucker for pastas with black truffle ;). I wasn't a fan of the pacing of our dishes, which was left to our waiter's discretion. We ordered some apps, pastas as our mains, and some sides because we wanted to taste a bunch of things. It would've been nice to have the sides served with the mains, but our waiter opted to bring them out after, so by that time, we were pretty full already. None of the sides stood out to me either. I love mushrooms, but the wild mushroom side had a sour taste to it. The Brussel Sprouts were described to us as crispy and finished in brown butter; the Brussel sprouts lacked texture and all I really tasted was mustard. I wish we had time to order dessert, but we had to pack up our sides to make it to our show on time. Kudos to the busser who provided our best level of service at NoMad Library. We stopped at the Nomad Library Bar before a show one evening. What a gorgeous setting among the three story walls of books. We didn't have time for a meal, but we loved the look of the library setting. Drinks were nice, and creative. The bar only seats about 8-10 ppl so it felt cramped. It would be much better to experience the restaurant instead of just the bar. read more

Overall a fantastic experience. Our server Andrea was extremely fun as well as professional and she knew the menu very well. She recommended the sippy cup drink and it was a perfect suggestion after only a few questions to know what drinks we like. The sides and appetizers were all divine. The Desert Mushrooms and Nomad Wedge are the best mushroom and wedge salad dishes I've ever had anywhere. The entrees on the other hand were not great. The scallops were good but not great. Ive had much better and the accompaniments with the dish were disappointing. Dry peas and good vegetable puree but nothing I would order again. The lamb was not good to be frank. Ive never had an upscale lamb rack that was prepared this way and both the cook and flavor were lacking. I would not recommend these dishes. I will go back because I wish I had tried the halibut or the steak. We ordered so much food and didnt have room for dessert but our server offered us a complimentary Hibiscus Cotton Candy. It was a very generous and welcome gesture. The ambiance of the dining room lived up to the hype. Its a beautiful restaurant located in our favorite casino on the strip. We will be back. read more
