It's in the Falcon Pointe neighborhood and the several times I have gone during the day/morning it hasn't been crowded at all. Everything is clean, access to the bathrooms is great (clean as well) and there is lots of shade along the seat wall the borders the splash pad. There is a pavilion with picnic tables and playground in the same area as well. There are several berms that keep the kiddos from running into the street too. There is a large button that sets the water features into motion and it runs for about 2 minutes at a time. My son is a bit possessive of this button when we're out there (sorry other moms) and I've seen a few scuffles break out over the privilege of hitting the button next. There are buckets that dump water, jets that create water tunnels, little fountains safe for the younger kiddos, and lots of rubberized play surface. Best way to have a low stress cool-off day during summer in Austin.

The newly renovated play area was a complete mess. There was water all over the floors, toys and equipment were scattered everywhere, and my kids ended up with soaking wet socks within minutes. It didn't feel clean or safe, and it definitely wasn't enjoyable for them. To make matters worse, there didn't seem to be any air conditioning, which made the entire place uncomfortable. After we left, I called hoping to speak with a manager. The employee who answered couldn't tell me if a manager was there or even when one would be available. That lack of leadership really showed based on the condition of the facility. The biggest concern was the lack of security. From what I observed, there didn't appear to be any real check in or check out process for children. It seemed like someone could easily walk in or leave with a child without anyone verifying who they were. As a parent, that's extremely concerning. Unfortunately, I can't recommend MeLand after this experience. There are much better indoor playgrounds in the area that are cleaner, better managed, and take safety more seriously. I'd suggest spending your money somewhere else until they make some major improvements.

They work on a time slot, we did a walk in with no issue. Early in the morning, I imagine on weekends and/or later it might be better to book in advance online. A few quick logistical things- you are required to wear socks. We forgot and they gave my kiddo their first pair free. I bought a pair- no big deal. You can't bring outside food or drinks in. They seem to have a decent drink menu and snacks available. They have tons of tables with views of the play area. I was able to sit nearby and still do some work. Everything in here feels super toddler friendly, my girl felt confident enough to walk around and explore it all.

There are pavilions available and plenty of areas to sit down. The parking are was really good. There are several jungle gyms for the kiddos. The walking trail is well kept and free or holes or anything that will cause you to fall. I saw wildlife along the way. People were fishing, eating, walking, playing games, and just enjoying life.
