It was also very loud as there was music being blasted. We sat down, and our waitress came over and asked if we wanted anything to drink. All the drinks are pretty expensive, and my wife got a margarita. I ordered the Wood Stove, which is one of the specialty drinks. About 2 minutes later, the waitress came back and said they were out of one of the ingredients for the Wood Stove, so I ordered a simple whiskey sour. About another 2 minutes later, our waitress came back and said they were out of sour mix! I feel like that's a bit crazy considering they are known for their cocktails and are a cocktail bar! So I just said I'm fine with water. My wife said her margarita was very basic tasting and also very strong. We looked over the menu and wanted to order an appetizer, and decided on ordering the steak and cheese poppers. It took a little while for our waitress to come back and take our order, but when she finally did, we ordered the steak poppers as an appetizer, and then I ordered the Short ribs and my wife got the carne asada tacos. About 2 minutes passed, and our waitress came back and said they were out of the steak poppers. I feel like this is getting ridiculous at this point. My daughter and I joined my friend and her sons at The Lola for the Love Island finale watch party they had. It was so bad we left halfway through the finale and went home to watch the second half. The restaurant was so hot, the doors wouldn't stay closed and they had a fan that was blowing hot air so hard at our backs, our hair was blowing everywhere. Then we ordered and everything came out at different times. When we ordered our food, I ordered a beer and when the waitress brought the beer over she spilled two other full drinks down my back and side. She apologized and cleaned it up but left the floor so sticky. A manager never came over to apologize. The beer was not cold so we told her and she brought another one that was exactly the same. They obviously don't rotate their stock when restocking. We finally had enough and decided to leave and I asked to make sure we weren't charged for both beers and she said no. I then asked if anything else was taken off and she said, "well I guess I can ask". I said that's the least you could do after dropping two drinks on me. She came back and took 5% off which wasn't even half my meal. In my younger years, I managed a full service restaurant and I would've had comped at least the meal of the person that got the drink spilled on them. I always have a great time here, and have been here numerous times this year. We recently attended the Grinch brunch and had a blast! The servers and staff working were all great and very accommodating. The music was loud that morning and they moved out party outdoors to a quieter table. Eva took great care of us. The Grinch came by and interacted with us and then we got to enjoy all of the beautiful Christmas decor! For food we tried: -The Croffle Flight Board: these were a mix between croissants and waffles. I thought it was delicious and would definitely order again. Very sweet though. -Pull apart Cinnamon-Rolls: this was good too! Sweet but still flavorful. - The breakfast burritos here are always solid and very good sized. I had chorizo and it was awesome. We also tried the grinch-mosa and mistletoe mimosa which were both yummy! We had a light dinner and drinks before the concert last Saturday. We had reservations for 6pm but were not seated until 6:40pm. We were told we the next to get seated, twice! When we ordered drinks, they did not match the description on the menu. When we asked, the server stated we do not have all the ingredients!? My Paloma was terrible! We drove an hour to visit this restaurant after seeing the positive attention it received on social media, but unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. The cleanliness of the establishment was concerning. There was visible food, trash, and even broken glass on the floor, which made the environment feel neglected and unsafe. My chicken and waffles dish was also disappointing, the chicken was significantly overcooked and extremely tough to cut. The atmosphere was not family-friendly. The music contained excessive vulgar language and was played very loudly. Additionally, the drinks were heavily diluted due to an excessive amount of ice. Service was average, but what was most concerning was the automatic 20% "event gratuity" charge added to our bill. There was no event taking place during our visit, only a few occupied tables and no DJ, just televisions playing music. It was unclear why this charge was applied. Overall, this experience did not meet expectations, and unfortunately, we would not return or recommend this establishment. read more

We came to Lola on 04/09/26 around 3:30pm and it was pretty empty there was two other tables there. When we got there we got sat down and the table was cracked, our waiter didn't come up to our table till after 20 minutes later, when she finally gets there takes our drink orders and another 20 minutes pass before she comes up with our drinks, we order our food like normal one of the plates we got was "my gf isn't hungry" on the menu it clearly states it comes with steak so we got it the waiter come back with our food, she sets the food down and just walks away doesn't even give us a chance to ask for condiments or refills. Initially we thought maybe the steak is still being cooked and she'll bring it she never brought us any steak or came back to our table for that matter. We could see her in a little side room next to the kitchen just on her phone ignoring us we waved at her to get her attention but nothing, I finally got up to get another menu to check we got the correct thing and we did it clearly says steak the waiter finally comes to us and I bring it up to her and she says " yeah the menus are incorrect it's an error, I'm not bringing steak unless you pay for it" like huh? The menu literally says it comes with it and you never told us there was a typo when we ordered otherwise we would've gotten something else. The food isn't worth the price or the customer service we waited to long for food you can get from a food truck and way better price. Yikes, they definitely dropped the ball. Our reservation yesterday was for 12:30 , a waitress didn't take our order until 12:50 (not acceptable) . I was unable to catch the waitress name but we were at the last table outside on the patio by the swing and picture display if this helps management. Our drinks arrived at 1:21 . I recently visited The Lola and unfortunately it left a lot to be desired. From the moment we sat down, the service felt cold and disengaged. Our waitress seemed visibly annoyed when some people at our table were still deciding on their orders. Instead of offering to come back, she just shot us looks and barely answered any questions we asked. One person wanted to change the eggs in their dish, and when the waitress said it couldn't be modified, she offered the option of removing the eggs and ordering them on the side. But isn't that still modifying the dish? Her lack of helpfulness left a bad taste before we even received our food. When our meals finally arrived, they weren't much better. I ordered the tres leches French toast, which, to my disappointment, lacked any tres leches flavor. It was dry, flavorless, and not at all what I expected from the name. I also ordered a side of potatoes and bacon (never got the bacon). When I pointed this out, they took it off my bill. The potatoes that did make it to the table were bland, with only a salty surprise in the middle of the cup. A few others at the table noted that their dishes were similarly uninspiring, although the chicken in the chicken and waffles did stand out as a positive. The decor, though cute, was not quite what I'd expect for a restaurant of this caliber, and the music, though good, was so loud that it made conversation nearly impossible. It was as if the ambiance was trying to cover up the lackluster food and service. To top things off, our waitress did the bare minimum when it came to checking in on us. She breezed by once to ask how the food was, but didn't stop to engage. We had to ask multiple staff members for boxes and for the check. When the bill finally came, it was split for our group of six, but no one explained that the 20% gratuity was already included in the form of a "restaurant fee." (Btw, they came around with a small machine that barely showed any breakdown of the bill and the writing was super tiny). Some people left extra tips not realizing this, which felt like an oversight that could've been easily avoided with a quick explanation, which I did explain to the others so they could decide if they wanted to leave more tip, if they wanted. Overall, the food didn't impress, the service was frustratingly unhelpful, and the atmosphere was a bit off. I'd recommend looking elsewhere if you're in the area--there are definitely better options that value both customer service and quality food. read more

Flies everywhere, limited A/C , guests were taking turns trying to kill them. 45 minutes later I was told they were out of Vermouth for my Martini. So I said fill the martini glass with vodka and I will pretend. Drink came at least 10 minutes later, wife's was OK, mine!! Had salt and lipstick on a quarter of the glass. Foodies beware: undisclosed charges will be added to your bill here. I went to Lola for the Luke Combs concert that was recently in town. On the menu, it clearly states there is a "3.5% restaurant fee" added to your bill. Fine, no problem I'll pay it. When the bill later comes the server showed me the tipping screen, which stated 3%, 5% or 7% (I believe). To me, this seemed odd, but she said the event fee is factored in, so it's lower. I then asked what the event fee was and she said she, "I think it's 17% or 20%. Pretty sure it's 17%." She never told me what it actually was or found out for me...great. I'm a bit upset at this point, but need to head to the concert, so I pay and submit to get the receipt via text...When I get the receipt I now see a 3.5% restaurant fee AND a 20% event fee, which was not disclosed anywhere when I entered the restaurant or told to any of us when we sat down to order. "The public deserves transparency when dining out, and that includes knowing the total cost of meals before ordering," Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes The menu should have stated (or even the waiter idc) that we were about to be charged an exorbitant amount of 23.5% in event and restaurant fees. Crazy to me that places like this try to get away with stuff like this, likely thinking they can take advantage of people rushing to a concert. Please proceed with caution and I encourage you to ask about all of their fees before dining here. I paid $72 for 2 mediocre salads and 2 beers...screenshots of all of this are attached. read more

My friend and I came to the Lola for the Love Island finale/ watch party/ Bell-A meet and greet. I will say the vibes are very girly and cutesy. They have a lot of space that is well decorated. It was fun to be in such a warm and inviting environment. The staff was super friendly. The drinks were good, we loved the fries. I will say, we went midday, and it was HOT. No ac, just fans, and they gave us hand held paper fans with the event. It was a busy event, but a bit unorganized. The flyers said 2-2:30pm meet and greet, and we were at the meet and greet after 5pm. There were also different tiers for tickets, entry, vip, and vip meet and greet. They basically only sold vip meet and greet, so it was not that special. We also never received our "love island" water bottles since they ran out. I would just like to see more organization if they want to hold events and sell tickets in the future. Possibly limit the ticket sales based on whatever quantities of items they are including with the package. Aside from the event side of things, everything else was great! Again, can't talk enough about how sweet all the staff were! I'm sure it was an overwhelming experience for them, and they were all so kind. read more
