Recently tried out the feature where you can order in the app or online for dine-in because this location can sometimes be a bit slow. It worked great! Our order was ready when we arrived. It was packed up like a to go order. They offered to plate them for us but I declined as long as they were ok with us eating there, which of course they were. Tried a pinsa for the first time and enjoyed it. Lighter but crispy crust and a nice size for lunch. My sister got the tried and true Mediterranean wrap with tomato bisque. It was delightful as always. We also got the blue cheese chips. Crispy and generous with the blue cheese sauce. It is always hard to park at this location during normal meal hours so prepare yourself for that. We often park across Crown Point Rd and walk over. It's a less stressful experience. read more

Such a great spot I've been going to since I was a kid. My favorite thing to get from here is either the grilled chicken sandwich or the American cheeseburger! They also have some of the best blue cheese I've ever tasted. The servers are always so nice and even when it's busy, they know how to manage it without even looking stressed! Ordered from The Loop for the first time tonight because they have Gluten Free pizza on the menu. Ordered the mozzarella and basil individual pizza and it was incredible. Hadn't been here in awhile and usually we get a hamburger. This time we ordered side Caesar salad and split at 12" artichoke and bacon pizza. The salad was better then I expected and the pizza was over the top! I expected two items and there had to be at least five-potabella sliced mushrooms, black olives, grilled grape tomatoes, artichoke and bacon, etc with every square inch covered with something! Decent food and great service is the best way to describe my experience at The Loop Pizza Grill. The menu for The Loop is all over the place as far as the variety of food you can order; which is kind of confusing when trying to decide quickly what to order. I ordered a hamburger and it was decent; not really a 5 star burger, but it was good. The rosemary chips that came with it were good; it would have been nice if they had some malt vinegar set out to douse on them. My husband and I wanted to try a local brewery and it was right next door to the loop. Since it was lunch we decided to have pizza. We went in, ordered to go and we were given a buzzer to notify us that the food was ready. To our surprise it reached over to the brewery so we could enjoy our drinks while we waited. I tried the new pinsa (pizza) it was very good. It came with arugula. My husband got a cheeseburger he enjoyed that also. The young man at the register was super helpful. It was our first time eating there. Even the young ladies cleaning up (it was the end of the night) were so friendly and not rushing us out and what an amazing job they do cleaning that place at night. I can say enough about them they were working so hard doing a great job and still so happy & friendly at the end of the night. I was so impressed with them. The loop pizza is one of best locally owned restaurants in the city. They have a nice menu with soup, salads, burgers to go with the pizza. The milkshakes are a mist. If you are anywhere in Jacksonville and see a loop. You have to try it out. They do have a military discount too. read more

The pizza is fantastic. I haven't had one I didn't like. The bbq chicken one is my favorite! They also have incredible chicken fingers, that were a good number of chicken strips! I appreciate that when I ordered a hamburger they offered an option other then sesame bun. (Due to sesame allergy) . Their burger tasted more like a home cooked burger on the grill, as opposed to a fast food place or something. It wasn't just a thin burger, but a good thick size. The portion I have to say was much smaller than I expected more so for the price. Also they have crushed ice and rootbeer on the drink machine...rare. Top 5 (Panko) onion rings in town. Salads and pizzas are great too. The Loop is a local chain good for consistently good grub. We hit up The Loop recent for dinner to grab some burgers. I'm a fan of the Loop & Cheddar. The burgers are always juicy and cooked as ordered. For sides, the onion rings are fabulous and so is the tangy dipping sauce. The steak fries are standard but the house chips are a definite hit. They also serve pizza - I'm partial to the sausage/goat cheese pizza and the broccoli salad. If you're in the mood to indulge, my go to is a chocolate malt. You'll get your shake in a pretty glass with whip cream and also the metal cup they used to mix it that had the shake that didn't fit in the glass. It's a casual restaurant, you order and pick up at the counter. Self serve drinks and condiments. I also wanted to mention the service at the San Marco location. Many moons ago I was having dinner at the San Marco Loop and a group of firemen were also there eating. For those unfamiliar with the area, there is a fire station in the square area. Said firemen got a call shortly after getting their food and sprinted out of the restaurant. Staff came and boxed up the meals and but trashed the shakes. I overheard a patron question the waste and the staffer said it has happened before so they box and mark the food and they make the guys fresh shakes when they come back from the call. This is pizza, burgers, salads, soups , they dont have a huge menu but they do make,what they make, good! I usually get a spicy grilled chicken sandwich with all the toppings with onion rings, im not a person who orders the same thing again and again but its so dang good I just keep getting it! Went here on a recommendation that they make a good hamburger. Certainly not the best hamburger in Jax, but very good. Individual pizza we had was also good quality, although not up to the high standards of some of the better pizzerias in town, primarily due to the crust. Toppings were fine and the sauce was tasty. Service at dinner time was reasonably quick. Watched the staff walk by the soda machine at least 5 times without cleaning the mountain of ice in the catch tray. Silverware definitely required a wipe down with a napkin before using. Overall, not a spotlessly clean establishment but decent value for the money.
