    Weekday lunch.
    Jonnell T.

$20 bucks is extremely decent for a buffet for lunchtime. The sushi is a bit mediocre ‍ but there were a couple of hidden gems; Same thing with the dim sum and actually most of the dishes. I think for weekday lunch lower your expectations but it's ok. I'll have to try a weekend dinner just so I can get a full comparison.

Came here after a few hours of shopping across the street at Ontario outlets. I came on a Friday during lunch and it was 15% off on Tuesday and Friday. I'm not sure if that is during lunch hours only so call before you come. However, I am not sure if you'd actually want to come here. I spent barely an hour here and ate 3 dishes and grabbed an ice cream togo. That is less than what I usually eat. The meal with the discount, a drink, and tip was $25 which is fine. It really had the standard options of an Asian buffet but no crab legs during lunch from what I saw. I started with salad, cocktail shrimp, and sushi. Then I had two hot plates and 2 soups including miso and hot and sour soup. Nobody was working at the hot grill and the desserts did not look good whatsoever. I think the thing that bugged me the most is they didn't clear any of my plates until the end of the meal and I was sitting at a pretty small table. While I was eating, I saw a server grab a fork from another table with piles of dishes from previous customers who were no longer there and she put it in the pile of clean forks for other customers to use. I dont care if she thought it was a clean fork because it still came from a table of dirty, used dishes. That was unnecessary and gross to do and even worse she watched me watch her do it. I almost wanted to ask her to stop but that would have been a bad experience for her. Yeah I don't think ill ever have the urge to come back.

Oysters not exactly the freshest, crab legs were easy to break into, Alot of protein, two of my top picks at this Buffett would be the lobster soup ( like similar to look and feel as shrimp with lobster sauce), and the sliced prime roast. Everything else was pretty mediocre. I've been trying to get around to coming here for a meal ever since I requested to get my dispatch changed to Fontana California. So having made my rounds around Ontario Mills, I've finally come back to give Luxe Buffett a try, been ages.... Final thoughts: your very atypical Fuzhounese Run Seafood Buffett. Overall if you want more variety, you'll have a better experience at UMI in City of Industry, believe the seafood there is a tad bit fresher. But also a price premium.

    Assorted sushi and cold items.

There is something here for everyone. We came here for lunch which was a great AYCE deal for $19.99 per person. There was also an additional 15% discount currently on Tuesdays and Fridays. Huge variety of food at the buffet including seafood. I liked that there were items here that are not usually found at a typical Asian buffet like braised chicken feet and pork hocks. There were even salmon collars available. There was a soup available that had real lobster claw meat. I especially enjoyed the lotus leaf wrapped rice dumplings and baked crab on little scallop shells. Surprisingly, their tempura style French fries were really excellent, fresh, hot and crispy! (This was the first time I have tried fries off of a buffet line.) Good tasty food no matter what is chosen. I will definitely need to return to try their highly recommended Mongolian grill. Service was efficient and friendly. Used plates were removed quickly, keeping the table tidy. This place will definitely go on my dining rotation. Parking is plentiful.

Service was good. Food is good and plentiful. We went on a Sunday and they had lobster. The lobster was a little overcooked but it wasn't bad. Plenty of choices for everyone. I had some of the sushi rolls, lobster, some beef and veggies from the Mongolian grill. Other miscellaneous items. Everything was fresh and hot. The place looks clean. They have plenty of stuff bussing the tables and bringing beverages. Also, there's staff constantly attending and keeping the buffet line clean and full. There's tons of seating so I can imagine that it can get loud in there. It was mid level sound when we went.

    AYCE Crab legs steamed perfectly:)

Warm welcome smile by staffs. Food was all good. Wendy our waitress was so attentive making sure our glasses was fill with H2O. With the help of her colleague Walter clearing out our empty plates. Great Teamwork!) Always clean, sanitize, organized by Staffs. Thanx for a great dining experience. Highly Recommend!)

Wide variety of food, but nothing really stood out enough for me to want to come back to Luxe Buffet.

I remember coming to Luxe Buffet years ago and actually having a pretty good experience, so I decided to revisit and finally bring my wife with me. Surprisingly, for a Friday night, the place was dead. Back then, I remember waiting 40 minutes to an hour just to get in. This time? We got seated immediately, and honestly... that already lowered my expectations. The selection was still pretty big with a lot of variety, so I started off with the seafood. It was decent. Nothing amazing, but good enough to satisfy the craving without worrying about food poisoning. The crab legs were ridiculously salty though. The biggest disappointment was the hot food section. I honestly don't understand how fried rice and chow mein can taste that bland. Zero flavor. The orange chicken and beef broccoli were okay, but definitely nothing memorable. They also had steak, though I can't remember which cut it was, but it was dry and overcooked. They also had a seafood boil section, but the shrimp were overcooked and the crawfish definitely didn't taste the freshest. It had that slightly off taste where you start questioning if you should keep eating it. Ironically, the best thing I had all night was the Mongolian BBQ. That was actually really good and probably the only thing I genuinely enjoyed. But that's also the disappointing part. If my favorite thing at a buffet is the Mongolian BBQ station, I could've just gone to a regular Mongolian BBQ spot, paid less, and probably enjoyed the meal more. The service also felt pretty off throughout the night. Most of the servers, the workers behind the buffet line, and even the bussers didn't seem friendly at all. Everything just felt slow and low energy, like nobody really wanted to be there. Not the worst buffet experience, but definitely nowhere near as good as I remembered it years ago.

Went on a Sunday and I would say only some things are worth it from here. The quality unfortunately did go down over the years. * I recommend the Mongolia BBQ! The taste is actually so delicious. You can pick your own ingredients & they cook it for you! * Surprisingly, the fries were tasty as well! * Some salmon sashimi pieces & the crab legs were yummy! The salmon sashimi was good, but I did notice some pieces were not fresh, and some even looked inedible because there was a green/black residue on it. The other pieces of sashimi were lacking and it didn't taste fresh. In addition, the sushi rolls were okay and even though the new rolls would come out, it seemed dry and not appetizing. I used to come here a lot before 2020, and the quality drastically dropped. Service: Pretty okay, but it was never bad, they just took a while to get the plates off the table Ambiance: Old fashioned, in need of a remodel to make it feel lively again.

Luxe Buffet - Ontario, CA If you love seafood, THIS is the spot for you! Heavy on the seafood in the best way--lobster, crab legs, sushi, shrimp on shrimp on shrimp ‍ There was so much to choose from that I honestly couldn't try everything, but what I did have was sooo good. I really enjoyed the sushi, coconut shrimp, fried shrimp, chow mein, fresh fruit, and dessert Everything tasted fresh (nothing sitting around or old), and the variety was impressive. They even had Mongolian food made fresh to order, which was a nice surprise Plus... a chocolate fountain because why not? Highly recommend if you're a seafood lover and can EAT eat Come hungry!

Sometimes, during a long day of day activity and you forgot to grab breakfast and lunch, and dinner is around the corner, hunger starts kicking in high gear; everything and ANYthing sounds great! After looking around for a Chinese gourmet restaurant, we just happened to be in the Ontario mall area and found that this establishment, "The Luxe Buffet" was opened and they just had their Grand Opening. On top of that, a quick google and IG search revealed the all you can eat Lobster during dinner time. We were hooked and wanted to try this place out!! While it was not too far from the freeways and Ontario Mall, it was tucked into the corner of the Main Street and so it a little tricky following the GPS to get there. Once there, a big parking lot is available for you to park anywhere! Walked in and was greeted immediately by the warm friendly staff and servers. The dinning hall was packed with people and we didn't have to wait at all when we arrived for the walk in. The time was about 4:30pm. Entrance was pretty well taken care of and clean. Reception and interior decor reminded me of crystal palaces and shining bright objects. In the main facility, there are rows of cushion table/seats setup and there are rows of regular open chair and table setups.i didn't get a good count but there has to be roughly 24 booths seating up to 4 comfortably and roughly 40-50 regular square/rectangular tables seating up to 4-6 people. With so many selections to choose from, the choices that you can make for a meal is endless. You have your typical assortment of Stir Fries, open sushi rolls, seafood area, soups from various kinds including the crabmeat soup, a delicacy only served during weddings and special occasions, a Mongolian grill area, dessert based on macaroons and every kids favorite, ice cream cart and machine. This place gave me nostalgic through memory lanes back in the early 90's. The food is great. It is a bit pricey for dinner, but worth it!! Come hungry and you will be left satisfy and fulfilled.

Alright. We were hungry pretty much our 1st meal of the day at 7pm. Okay where to start I think we got there right before the dinner rush. Food seems to be left over. Some food cold and over cooked. When we got our 1st plate boyfriend got the brisket super dry and over cooked. I got a duck and dome other things 1st round left over.. 2nd round more people starting to show/ there were people already there enjoy their meal. Then this was the rush it seems. More food and freshly cooked Brisket warm still a bit dry, duck fresh. I had muscle and i wasn't expecting it to be cold but it was and i think that how they prepare it I'm use to it being warm with the mayo and cheese topping. Not bad but prefer it hot. Everything was mid. Typical buffet i would say. Just looks fancy due to decor and name and since they serve a-lot of seafood. Nice experience i guess

    Crab legs :)

Revisited after years to see if anything's changed, quality is average for about $35 pp. Most food was older and just lukewarm from sitting under the heat lamps for awhile. Came on a Monday night & they had lobster claws apart of their seafood. I mainly get sashimi, baked oysters & crab legs when coming here. Service was super nice though, our waitress constantly refilled our drinks & took away empty plates quickly.

Every time we visit Ontario Mall we like coming here in LUXE BUFFET. This buffet is very near Ontario Mills Mall you can even walk from the Mall to this buffet. The reason we like stopping here is for their Lobsters, which are what we mostly eat here. Their lobsters are meaty and tasty. Their Lobsters Buffet is on the weekends only . For their other food we also like their Mongolian BBQ, and most of the tray gets filled fast. It's just that the service is kinda slow in picking up the used plate from our table. Parking spaces are plenty around.

AMBIANCE 5.5/10…read more After spending way too long trying to decide what to eat, we finally settled on seafood boil and landed on The Big Catch because of their all-you-can-eat option. Walking in, our first impression wasn't great the building looked a little run down. Once inside, though, the vibe improved. It had a rustic sports bar feel with TVs everywhere, an open bar, and a seafood station. Nothing fancy, but not terrible. EXPERIENCE 7/10 The service was one of the better parts of the visit. Our waiter was friendly, attentive, and took the time to answer our questions and recommend a few items. The food took a little while to come out. BTW there's a 90 minute limit after we were seated and the second round of our seafood took 30 minutes to come out (they apparently forgot our order) and they proceeded to tell us we had last call right after our second round of food barely got to the table. Not sure if that's done on purpose but we really didn't really appreciate that. Overall though, the staff definitely made the experience better. THE FOOD 5/10 Here's where things started to fall apart. The first all-you-can-eat platter came with two snow crab clusters, 1/2lb crawfish, 1/2lb mussels, 1/2lb peeled shrimp, plus unlimited sides. One thing that caught us off guard and maybe we just missed it on the menu is that after your first round, you can no longer order the snow crab or peeled shrimp. That was disappointing since those ended up being the best seafood options on the table. The snow crab was solid, and the peeled shrimp were surprisingly good the texture was crunchy and we didn't get any fishy smell or flavors. Everything after that... not so much. Round two included whole shrimp, clams, and scallops. The portions were noticeably smaller, and almost everything tasted like it had been frozen for too long. The crawfish lacked freshness, the whole shrimp had the same issue and were mushy without the initial crunch additionally the shrimp was hard to peel which makes us think that it was POSSIBLY reheated, and the scallops were tiny with a strong fishy flavor that made them hard to enjoy. Even the House/Cajun seasoning didn't do much to save it. It was too oily and honestly just tasted like salt, there was no spiciness either and we got the hot flavor. Ironically, the sides ended up carrying the meal. The cucumber salad was fresh and crunchy, which balanced out some of the heavier seafood, and the sweet potato fries were honestly one of our favorite things we ordered. And one last thing... somehow even the water tasted off. What We'd Order Again Snow Crab Clusters Peeled Shrimp Fish Taco Sweet Potato Fries Cucumber Salad Sausage Corn Skip These Whole Shrimp Clams Mussels Scallops Crawfish House/Cajun Seasoning Cajun Fries Cajun Wings Boiled Egg Water Final Rating If you're going for the all-you-can-eat seafood, don't expect premium quality. The first round is decent, but once the crab and peeled shrimp are off the table, the meal drops off pretty quickly. Would we come back? Definitely not. We ended up paying 90$ for 2 people which you can argue is good since it's an AYCE seafood meal but afterwards after speaking to the waiter we found out the shrimp and crawfish was indeed frozen that along with all the other disappointing food doesn't make us feel like it was worth the money. Overall Gassington Rating: (5/10)

The prices were comparable to other similar places but this place also offers all you can eat (except holidays) but we did not do this as we did not have the appetite. Plenty of parking and close to Ontario Mills. Staff were very friendly. Restaurant could use a facelift in some areas like the restroom but overall relatively clean. We ordered 2lbs medium spice house seasoned whole shrimp with corn and an egg, cucumber salad, and Cajun fries. The cucumber salad has a soy/vinegar sauce. We ordered it mainly to cut the butter/salt from the other stuff, it was decent, there was a little bitterness from the cucumber. The shrimps were nice and plump, only 1-2 were overdone at the bottom of the bag. The flavor was tasty, though I would have liked chunks of garlic in the bag to enhance more flavor. The basil was different than most places we've frequented, a welcomed surprise. Although we ordered medium spice, I think it was more on the mild side. The Cajun fries had a nice bite to them, but were simply fries with seasoned salt/Cajun seasoning on top...I've had better but they went well with the shrimps. Corn was sweet and egg was fine.

The appetizers and side dishes were good, and we enjoyed the fries, noodles, and calamari. The only disappointment was the special sauce that comes with the crawfish and shrimp boil. The flavor wasn't what we expected and tasted more like a tomato-based sauce. Compared to places like The Boiling Crab or Kicking Crab, it lacked the buttery, garlicky, and savory flavor we were looking for. Unfortunately, the sauce was the main reason my kids and I didn't enjoy the seafood. Since the sauce is such an important part of a seafood boil, it really affected our overall experience. The food itself was fresh, and the service was fine, but we would probably choose The Boiling Crab or Kicking Crab next time.
