Wonderful experience! We just happened to end up in Manitou after coming down from Pikes Peak and what an adorable place! We stopped for some drinks here at Mate and so glad we did. I had an iced coffee latte and he had a hot mint mocha. Both were made perfect and the girl at the register was too sweet! I really liked the mint mocha, it was like a peppermint patty but not as intense, just the right mint flavor. The inside was too cute, with little tables under gorgeous murals. The bathroom was very clean as well. All around loved this place and this quaint little town. My only regret is that we didn't try any mate. We were in a hurry to grab and go. This is a review of our party of 4. I would give an overall rating of 4.5 if possible. Two of us had the Reuben and loved it! Three of us tried the mango tea and it was perfect! The other two had the Deli Pesto sandwich. One of our party said it was way too much pesto sauce on the sandwich and the other gives it a 4. The decor is very cute but very limited seating. I'd guess the whole place could accommodate possibly 20 people. We noticed a lot of people picking up take out orders though. The staff was very welcoming, communicative and accommodating. They even asked if I'd like an extra pickle when I split my sandwich. Around 5 minutes in I said we should go somewhere else, but my better (and more patient) half convinced me to give them a little longer.
