I've tried this nail location three times now, two pedicures and once for a regular manicure. To be honest, this place is dirty. If you look around, you'll see that the floors and sinks are not that clean. My nails were fine but the technicians don't do more than basic stuff. So when they get nail polish on your skin next to the nail, most salons will take a brush with nail polish remover and take it off. Not here. Happened every time I came here. So strange because they saw it and just ignored it. The other thing I noticed is they don't put a top coat on the nails so it lasts a little longer. Not sure why this place is so busy because there are much better places in Santa Clarita. I'm sorry but I can't recommend this place. read more

I'm very disappointed with my recent experience at Nail Forum. I requested a light pink base with white polka dots, but when I asked for a second coat so my natural nail wouldn't show through, I was told no. I also asked for several nails to be reshaped because they all looked noticeably different. Some were corrected, others were made worse, and a few were dismissed as "fine" even though they clearly weren't. I've been coming to the Santa Clarita location for years, but I'm really unhappy with how my nails turned out--especially right before the holidays. I'm now considering going back just to have them redone. read more

I'm so disappointed by this nail spot, to preface I have been a long time customer for over 10 years, my mom and I have been getting our nails done here and its always been great but recently they have just not been up to par. I want to make it clear this review is not for the ladies that we typically go to to get our nails done but for the management. The last few times we have been the up front desk girls have been completely dismissive and rude both when we check in and check out or call to make an appointment since you can't book online. This last week I was trying to make an appointment to get my nails done before a wedding and was placed on hold twice, the first time for 10 minutes before the line disconnected. When I called back about 10 minutes after that I was placed on hold for 35 MINUTES! Never have I ever been placed on hold for that long just to make an appointment AND I never got to make an appointment because they never picked the phone back up. I ended up just hanging up since at that point it was over 10 minutes past their listed close time. Again really disappointed by this since before about 6 months ago everything had been amazing at this location. Maybe it's time to find a new nail place. read more

I wish I could give 0 stars. My daughter went in to get a set of acrylic nails and had the worst technician and service. While seated in the chair she noticed ridges and color bleed and asked for correction. After the multiple tries they still came out poorly. Next day I called and spoke to the manager who said they would honor another correction and to come in. Per their insane and ridiculous policy they put her with the SAME technician! This is most idiotic concept, if they could not complete the initial work what is the difference this time. After trying to get another technician and now arguing with the manager we HAD to use the same tech and trust that it would be better. My daughter settled by only getting French tip and yea they look better than they did but they are still not good. Crooked and uneven color and white. You just expect more for $65 of hard earned money. read more

She is such a nice person and so very talented. She is respectful of your time and always does a very thorough job. My gel manicure nails are always in near perfect condition even after two weeks. Last minutes mani/pedi. They offered kids mani:pedi so I grabbed Lola. My daughter is tall but she is only 11. The girls at the front told me that kids meant they had to be as tall as their counter. Which wasn't that tall but I think maybe 6-7 yo? She has thin lil kid nails and cuticles and lil kid feet with no callouses. She really just needs her nails trimmed and painted, but charged me the adult price. That really annoys me for some reason. So I personally think an age should be listed on the website. Despite that unexpected up-charge I paid because what choice did I have, but I wouldn't have brought her if I hadn't thought the price was a great deal. So maybe they should have an age listed on the website. All bitching aside, they did a standard but good job although the pedicure water was a lil tepid for my liking. read more

The standard of quality with a technician named Mai. These pink and white acrylic nails are hideous. I was also cut deeply many times with the files and burned along the cuticle lines and fingertips with the drill. She would appear to not pay attention and zone out or look around while drilling. See for yourself. I bluntly told her many times to make the pink longer, not too much white on the end, I want them more tapered and thinner. She constantly assured me and said, "don't worry I'll take care of that, they'll look natural." She also said that it's important to have someone experienced, like herself, who KNOWS how to do pink and white acrylic because the younger people don't know how to do them. The photos speak for themselves. I'm sure she's adequate at pedicures and gel manicures, which is basically painting the polish on the nail and sticking it in a machine. She's right about finding someone with experience because immediately after this horrid and surreal experience, I easily found a true artist at another nearby salon, who gently removed these hideous things right after this painful appointment, and gave me a beautiful set of truly natural-looking pink and white acrylic nails. read more
