Small portions, overpriced, and not so tasty - I wouldn't recommend this Thai restaurant especially with the numerous Thai options in the surrounding area that are much more affordable and delicious. The roti was the most disappointing - so thin and the curry dip was literally just a tablespoon... seems a bit stingy on a very simple appetizer. I unfortunately hyped up Tom Kha for a friend who was trying it for the first time, but this one did not live up to expectations. Their Tiew Kak and Mango Crispy Chicken were decent, but not worth it for the price point and serving size.

    Reasonable prices.

The suggested Thai Boat Noodles was good but could be an acquired taste. The rice noodle is Viet pho noodle and the broth has a slight fish aroma. Actually, this item was like combinining rare beef pho with pork meatballs and fermented beef stew. A vegetarian dining companion liked the Chili Eggplant Rice Plate and would get again. We both recommend the Fried Tofu appetizer. Deep fried just right outer texture and softness inside. It went well with the peanut dipping sauce (mix in some red chili for a kick). Will return to try other items. Prices are not low if you're on a student budget but also not high like at most Thai restaurants. It is quite busy for a Sunday night but the place closes at 9:45pm everyday, which might be later than many eateries in the area.

The papaya salad was your standard papaya salad. We got the marinated crab which was a little extra cost. The marinated crab is pretty fishy so don't get it if you aren't into that. I really liked the thai boat noodle. The broth was really good. Meat and noodle were okay but I loved the broth. The thai tea was your standard. I asked to have it less sweet and it was as I requested. If you need a to go box or bag, they charge like 10 or 20 cents. The staff will check on you every now and then so that's good. I'd come back if I'm near to try other things on their menu!

Good. It didn't really do anything wrong. My pad Thai was quite agreeable. The service was prompt. The price fits the area. I am still hungry though so ima just give you four stars. Maybe I'm wrong but I feel like usually I'm not hungry after I have paid Thai for lunch.

Another Thai restaurant that despite their name, serves more than noodles. Their food is well-portioned, but their menu might be too comprehensive. We ordered a few items from the chef's special and found that they were okay and lacked a little bit of flavor, but at least they were filling. The staff are friendly and the food is prepared in a timely manner.

we seated 5 of us on a wednesday night around 9pm, they close at 10. food was fast and servers so nice. maybe around 10 tables total inside papaya salad 5/5 - nice and refreshing and limey Woon Sen pad thai with seafood 4/5 - two types of noodle which is unique. the seafood honestly pretty good fried chicken cutlet curry - 5/5 the curry wasn't dark as expected but it was more orange red but was delicious and the chicken had a wonderful crunch duck noodle soup 4/5 - standard duck noodle soup nothing that special; i feel like it needed some sort of zap like some sour or spice to it green syrup - melon drink that was sweet and refreshing

Food was great and the service was quick, efficient, and very friendly. The staff made the experience even better with their welcoming attitude. The place was clean and well-maintained, creating a comfortable environment to enjoy a meal. It's a perfect spot whether you're looking for a quick bite on the go or want to sit down and dine in. Overall, a solid choice for a casual and satisfying meal.

A collage of some of my favorite dishes here.

The food here is great! The combination of flavors and textures is incredible. Everything is thoughtfully and carefully done, holding onto traditional Thai recipes and making impressive, beautiful plates of food every time. The service is very fast and very good. They bring the food out quickly, and keep your glass full, but they don't meddle or listen in. The ambiance is casual, fun and welcoming. I love to eat there with my friends and family because it's a great place to gather. It's not fancy; it just serves fantastic food. The prices are low, but the quality is wonderful!

My partner and I were on our way to a nearby ramen restaurant when we discovered The Noodle. It's a hole-in-the-wall Thai restaurant with an open kitchen and maybe 8 or 9 tables. As soon as we walked in, we were welcomed and seated by a smiley, sweet woman. Each table comes with a set of sauces and toppings, which is helpful for people who want to add their own heat to their dish (not me!). We ordered a bowl of Tom Kha soup to share, an order of duck fried rice, and an order of pad Thai with shrimp and chicken. The soup was HUGE! I think I could wear the bowl as a hat. It was more than enough for 2 people, and it would've also been enough as 1 person's entree. We ended up taking a lot of it home for lunch the next day. The duck fried rice was soooo tasty. The duck was cooked perfectly and the rice had lots of flavor. The pad Thai came out steaming hot and was excellent. The flavors blended together nicely and the noodles were the perfect level of chewy. I'm genuinely so happy we tried this place, and I'm excited to go back soon!!

This a perfect place to go to for lunch or dinner. It's a small inside and place gets busy on weekends but worth the wait. The food is delicious and the My mom and I keep coming back to enjoy dinner. The food is good and the service is great!

Super good. Got the crab fried rice and the meat was so tender and the flavors is rich and melt in my mouth. The mason gui curry was so savory and a taste that mesmerized me fs

I have been coming to this restaurant since I was in college at Berkeley when it had the sister restaurant, Thai Noodle 2 on Telegraph. It's always been a favorite of mine, and I've been coming back for years. Service is usually very quick, and the food is always delicious and served hot. I typically get the Massaman Gai Curry (not pictured) which is such a uniquely flavored curry with chicken that falls off the bone! Every dish I've gotten has been amazing, like the classic pad see ew or pad thai, but my favorite dishes to order are the BBQ chicken over fried rice (pairs so well with a curry), the peanut sauce noodles, and recently the mango crispy chicken. I can never help myself and always order too much, thinking I'll have leftovers. But then it's so good and I leave feeling stuffed from having over-eaten since I couldn't control myself! If you wear a noodle shirt, you get a free drink too :) I've gotten 5 free drinks so far! The mango sticky rice I got for free too after collecting enough stamps on my card. So worth it, it was the best sticky rice I think I have ever had.

3 Thai Boat Noodles in the left. A "pink soup"? Bottom right. Idk about the other two dishes.

That asides, the food as Noodle Dynasty is unmatched. I typically get their noodle soups, which are a massive portion size, & appetizers, such as lamb skewers, spicy wontons, and chinese doughnuts. To this day, I think that the spicy wontons are the best in the area - super flavorful beyond just the chili oil taste. Definitely recommend getting these! The staff at the restaurant are all very kind and welcoming. They seem to really care about your experience. As for the food, the menu is quite vast, which I am happy about since I will be back to try everything! This was our second visit and during our first trip we were very happy with the three items we ordered, Rosé rice cakes, Dupp bop spicy pork belly, and Jang pasta w/ pork belly. My wife and I loved the duck bop spicy pork belly because it was not just a huge cube of meat, but instead, it was sliced fin to take on a lot of the good sauce. Today I had the lunch special, which left me extremely satisfied. The portion size was large as I'm a rather large eater anyway... The Bulgogi beef was seasoned perfectly over a bit of cabbage or greens, white rice, and the kimchi spicy pork belly soup as you will see in the image was bubbling hot. Superb but watch out if you can't handle the heat as it is a bit spicy. I would say the prices are fair as well. Reservations were not necessary and attire is very casual.

Most people were sitting out on the patio. The back patio is such a cute vibe. It's like a lush garden with mature trees and shade and string lights. I wish they had a separate entrance for it though. I saw a couple people walking their dogs through the restaurant to get to the patio. The market actually has a pretty big selection of items! They even have several large refrigerators. I've never seen so many types of ramen outside a 99 Ranch. We ordered the palace rice cakes, beef cold noodles, spicy tofu, both fried chicken appetizers, and the jang pasta, and drinks. They have a nice selection of drinks that I haven't seen commonly offered at other Korean restaurants before like several types of Korean tea. Everything was delicious! My personal favorites were the jang pasta, palace rice cakes, and the cold noodles. The noodles were perfect to help cleanse the palate from the heavier and spicy menu items. Ur was tasty even without the vinegar. They were very generous with the amount of beef in the rice cakes. It was more beef than rice cake! The cost wasn't bad either. For four people it came out to $145 before tip. The only other suggestion I have is they install an air curtain or mesh curtains to help keep flies out. I really enjoyed Korean Superette and want to go back and hopefully get some groceries too!
