Service was excellent. Porche, our server was friendly and attentive. We started with drunken clams, not as spicy as advertised but that could be us. My entree was chicken saltebucco was very good. Plate was a bit messy (less mash, even though it's really good, more sauce) chicken was well cooked. I didn't understand the asparagus as it was just lightly steamed and not seasoned. There is no ocean view, or at least not on Sept 3 and not unless you can climb onto a bar stool. Which, having a wheel chair user in our party, we could not. View totally blocked, and the view was what we came for since getting a view from the boardwalk in a chair is about impossible. Food was good except for a dry overdone burger. Well-- I'll start out with the positive The restaurant is very lovely, and sits right on the water. It's adequately decorated and the view is very lovely. The service was very pleasant, our waitress was personable, quick, and friendly. To start off we ordered an appetizer: the boneless wings; which I'd give a 2/10. The sauce wasn't evenly distributed and they were very clearly frozen nuggets. As my entree I ordered the burger which was nicely cooked and flavorful; I'd give it an 8/10. My good sis ordered the steak which was bland and unevenly cooked; which she'd give a 4/10. Overall my recommendation would be to just stick to drinks and burgers and avoid the entrees. We got married here on Friday 3/14/25 Well I do agree that the service was slow the place was packed . I would have liked a variety of music playing as opposed to just country but that's neither here or there. I wasn't a fan of the high chairs but the view is the reason I chose this place. The food was fair, but I didn't feel like the server wasn't very attentive considering I was spending a lot of money here I felt the service could have been more available i had to hunt my server down a few times. The manager Casey was very good she kept constant communication and was very helpful. While the server did help with some things I ended up cutting my own cake and boxing it because I didn't feel like waiting around and some of my guests wanted to leave we drove over an hour and a half to be here. We loved the beach view I had a wonderful ceremony. The drinks were fabulous shout out to the bartender. I would definitely come back to visit my guests and I did enjoy the venue we agreed it was the perfect location to celebrate. Thank You for having us and working with my budget. Went back and purposely avoided the female bartender that was so rude to us and was served by Tom instead. Tom was absolutely wonderful, super attentive, and actually made it worth it going to this place again. (We think his name was Tom, that's what the receipt said!) We witnessed the female bartender (who our original review is about) give attitude to two more groups of people, one of which walked out. Thank goodness for Tom. If I could put zero stars, I would. My family and I had a group of 25 going to this restaurant, to which we've been to this restaurant before as a group, and had a good time. However, the so-called 12-year-old looking "manager" accused my family of underage drinking. To be clear, that did not happen. The waitress, however, did ask the children what they wanted to drink, and continued to list out alcoholic beverages that were on the menu, even though the kids were separated from the adults. The security guards completely ruined our experience, kicked out half of our family, and argued with every single one of us. They also failed to allow us to finish our meal/drinks because they literally told us that we were overstaying our welcome. If we were causing an issue, I would understand, but this was a mistake made by a waitress and blamed on my family. It is likely that we will never go back again--which is sad because of the food and atmosphere. read more

I should have read the reviews before coming here. Let me start by saying that this place seemed promising - great location with a great view and a seemingly decent menu. However the food needs a LOT of work and I honestly felt scammed after leaving. Our group ordered several appetizers (pretzel sticks and fries) which were fine. Drinks were just OK. We also ordered several servings of lobster rolls and their $13 burger and Caesar salad. My friend asked for her lobster roll without mayonnaise (she can't have it) and we asked for the burger to be medium rare. When the food came out, which took a while, all 3 lobster rolls came without any sauce on them. There must have been some confusion and all 3 had the mayo removed, but the server was less than accommodating about bringing sauce for the other two. The lobster was pretty over cooked and dry ($22 by the way) so sauce was NEEDED. That aside, the real tragedy of this meal was the burger. When I tell you that this patty was far beyond medium rare, I'm talking about a hockey puck. This burger was so charred it was basically inedible. I was splitting it with a friend and we each had a bite or two before deciding it just wasn't something we could even eat. There was such a charcoal crust on it that you could audibly tap on it with a fork like a loaf or bread. I was surprised that a place with such expensive items on the menu would serve food that was so poorly cooked. We didn't order anything from the back of the menu, and I am so glad we didn't. I don't know how this burger even made it out of the kitchen. At the point that we were in the meal, we didn't want to send it back and have to wait another 30+ minutes for another burger, but we did mention to the server that it was very burnt. Having worked as a server, I would say that's a situation where you absolutely comp the item - it's completely inedible. Instead, we were given 50% off the burger... I guess for the 3 bites we took out of it. ALSO when you order a lobster roll or burger, it comes with a side of fries, but if you choose to upgrade (I.e. get sweet potato fries or onion rings instead of regular fries) they charge you for an ENTIRE SIDE rather than the price difference from regular fries, which is $1. COMPLETE SCAM. Again, I think this place needs a complete overhaul. The live musician was the best part of this place, but I still will never go back. read more

We decided to dine outside to enjoy the nice weather, which was the nicest part about this place. We were a group of 4 and 1 child. It took over 10 minutes just to place a dink order, which by then we also placed our food order. By the time we got our food, it was all cold, and the steak bites were overcooked (we ordered medium rare and got medium well). We only received partial of our order, which out waitress reassured that the rest was on its way out. One of the orders was for our 2 year old child. We finished the food we received (about 20 minutes) and just asked for the check because we weren't going to wait any longer. By the way, the items we were waiting for was a medium burger and a salad???? No manager came to visit to apologize! Our family of 4 had an amazing dinner on the back deck! The weather was perfect and the view, food, live music, ambiance, and service were fantastic! Our kids shared a small cheese pizza and mac-n-cheese and loved them. We ordered the shrimp tacos and fried flounder sandwich which were both delicious. The prices were reasonable, the server was attentive, and the food/drinks were brought out promptly, which is a must with young children! It must have changed overnight because everything was still labeled as Ocean Club and not Ocean View. Our water glasses were actual glass. Our seltzers arrived in plastic cups. Huh? The service here is ridiculously slow and inattentive. Our waiter, Sal, said he would be right with us four times before finally making an appearance. He passed our table at least ten times. The restaurant was not very busy. We started with Buffalo wings. They were dry and bland. They literally gave us two small pieces of celery. It took a ridiculously long time to get our entrees. To make matters even worse they had a horrific brother and sister act playing music at a ridiculously high, and painful, volume. We couldn't even speak to the aforementioned Sal about anything. Wife ordered a filet mignon medium rare which came with vegetables and mashed potatoes. Was it the worst filet mignon ever that was over cooked? Yes. Was it very dry? Duh...yes again. The vegetables were boring and the mashed potatoes were over salted. I had a medium rare strip steak. with shrimp scampi. My steak was close to medium and edible. The shrimp showed no signs of anything scampi and were mealy. We pointed out to Sal my wife's over cooked filet mignon. His response was that there were kids in the kitchen so what do you expect. My husband got the fried flounder sandwich, and it came with two huge pieces of fried fish which were crispy and delicious, and not dried out. Ordered the Thai calamari which should be encrusted in a nice crust, nope! They served us naked calamari embedded in a slop of loose Thai crust, unbelievable it left the kitchen this way--Seriously?? I couldn't believe the cook and server was okay handing this off to us. Let's see, additional items were, tuna tartare (didn't impress at all being served on a nacho) the fish tacos (burnt shell) Risotto apparently was decent and scallops were fair. Overall, the food and service were awful and IMO should be ashamed to be charging the prices they are charging to serve terrible food. I've been going to bay front and oceanfront restaurants for decades and never have I been eaten alive like this- your customers aren't happy. Get the outdoor area treated ASAP and maybe our party of six will return, otherwise we won't be back. I killed 200+ of these things swarming me for an hour and I had to leave. As I'm writing this walking out a separate group of my friends (another party of four) is leaving after being here an hour trying to enjoy the line dancing but they can't handle being eaten alive either. please fix this. The Thai Calamari was nice and crispy and delicious. I had the Seafood Risotto and it was excellent, though it seemed absent of lobster. We also had the Short Ribs, Halibut, Lobster Roll, and Scallops and everyone really enjoyed their dishes. Our server was very nice and had a great sense of humor. This place is all about location because they couldn't care any less about their food service or the quality of what they serve you. It's a beautiful venue with a great outdoor space overlooking the ocean. The bar is a nice big open area and the bartenders are great. The wait staff however always seem to be unprepared to serve you and not knowledgeable on what they have and don't have on the menu or at the bar. It's incredibly disappointing considering how expensive everything is here and the way they market themselves as some kind of fancy beach club. I recommend only getting drinks here at the bar (and even then, be prepared to spend boardwalk prices ie: $40 for 2 drinks). You might get lucky sometimes and get a pretzel if they have it, 45 minutes after you order it - if it's not forgotten along the way. Just try not to come here hungry. Being seated at a table for dinner service is a whole mess. Our servers have forgotten us completely, forgotten drinks we ordered and were waiting for for 25 minutes, forgot appetizers, they didn't know what the drinks were that we were ordering were and also weren't familiar with what is at the bar in general. Got served RAW chicken too. Raw, not undercooked....RAW. No one seems to care about serving you well here and the kitchen staff doesn't care about checking their food before sending it out for quality control.... Hard pass read more

Very nicely decorated on the inside and a stunning view of the beach on the outside. Our server was very nice too. The front of the menu is reasonably priced for a waterfront restaurant. Appetizers, sandwiches, pizza, and a couple salads. Pretty standard and casual right? The back of the menu is a completely different vibe. Entrees ranging from $30-$55. A few fancy fish dishes, surf and turf, stuff you would expect at a fine dining type place. I think they would have much more success by choosing a lane. Drink menu looked decent: a lot to choose from and fair prices. I ordered the burger that was around $13. It came with lettuce, tomato, bacon, cheese, and fries. I asked for it medium rare and it was rare which I had no issue with but would expect it to come out how I requested at a place with a $55 menu item. The lettuce had some brown spots on it and did not taste right so I took it off. The bacon was definitely not freshly made it had a strange texture but it still tasted good and I feel fine hours later! The fries were really good and the bun was also excellent. My dad made the mistake of ordering the $55 surf and turf. My advice is to stay away from anything on the back of the menu it is a waste of money. He said everything was very bland and ended up drenching his steak in A1 sauce which should not be necessary for such an expensive dish. The lobster was not served with butter on the side and was completely flavorless. It came with a few little potatoes and asparagus. He was still hungry after and helped me finish my fries. The lobster roll had a set price of $22 and the crab sandwich said "market price" which made me assume their lobster is frozen. My brother had it and said it didn't taste fresh which is disappointing when you're at a nice beach restaurant. If they really want to be a fancy place then NOTHING should be frozen! His side salad also had some pieces that looked wilted. We still had a great time sitting by the beach. Not a bad experience but they could improve on food quality.
