I was excited to try this place since it's always busy on a popular stretch of del ray, but was pretty disappointed in the food. Got the ahi crispy tuna bites and the ahi was fine but the crispy rice was soggy and cold. Dumplings were also not great. Burger was average, really nothing exciting. Service was great though! Just wouldn't recommend this as a place to stop if you're in town, there are tons of other great options in the area. read more

The table next to ours was so close that 2 different couples that were seated there, got up and left. Wayyy too tight. And maybe they weren't dog people. Okay. With that out of the way... we were seated for quite awhile before anyone showed up to, I don't know, take a drink order? When she did, we ordered 3 drinks and the pretzel app. A bit later, we got the pretzel but no drinks. Eventually she came back with the drinks & took our order. When the servers brought it out, one item was missing. Waiter never came around to check... but when they finally did, said it was on it's way... it never showed up. Bummer. She comped a couple things on the bill, but it kind of left a bad taste in our mouth. With all the options on Atlantic, we'll leave the dog home & go elsewhere. read more

The Office is the best place on Atlantic Avenue, I've lived in Delray for nearly 10 years and have been to almost every restaurant downtown, but The Office is hands down most consistent and overall the best experience. Ambiance, the bar, the music, the service, the beer selection (42 beers on tab) and of course the food. For the food; I recommend the Mac & Cheese Balls (Housemade), the Tuna Tartar and the Executive Wings with the Garlic Teriyaki sauce. My go-to item on a regular basis is The CEO Burger - really juicy, thick patty, punchy cheeses and a great sauce. I love the fresh hand cut fries, I'm so tired of places doing the same generic frozen fries. Lastly, my wife always gets the Penne Alla Vodka, the vodka sauce rivals any high-end italian restaurant I've been to, soooooo good! My husband and I decided to go to The Office in Delray Beach for Happy Hour. Without the kids, we enjoyed sitting at the bar where the bartenders were very nice and promptly took our drink orders. I had a classic margarita, but being particular about cocktail craftsmanship, I found it lacking in flavor. I switched to a glass of Riesling, which was a safer choice. We ordered beef sliders, mahi tacos, and buffalo chicken flatbread. The mahi tacos and beef sliders were delicious, but the buffalo chicken flatbread had too much crumbled bleu cheese, overpowering the other flavors. It was one of the busiest places on the strip, so I figured it must be good, and it definitely did not disappoint. I grabbed a table outside, and it was a nice balance of people watching and restaurant atmosphere. The server was really friendly and attentive, and even offered me a cup of water to go after I paid. I got the Huckleberry BBQ Short Rib Grilled Cheese, and just like the name is definitely a mouthful, this meal will fill you up. It has an extremely satisfying amount of cheese both inside and on top, and mild enough to make the meat the star of the show. It's really well cooked, not too chewy like short rib can get, and the sauce was super flavorful and not too sweet. The bread was toasted perfectly to add a nice crunchy contrast. The sweet potato fries could have used a bit more salt, but they might have been leaning into the sweet side of things, with their ridiculous side of marshmallow sauce to dip in. Honestly I wasn't expecting a lot from here since I thought this place was a night scene but the food and drink happily surprised me. We came in for a Friday happy hour (for the last hour) and had no issues finding a seat at the inside bar. Staff was attentive and friendly. The bar space was clean and it was cool inside. The bathrooms were okay but they were a bit weird since genders have their own toileting area and the sink area is shared. The pretzel was outstanding and for a great price too. The bacon honey butter tasted artificial and I didn't like it but the cheese dip was good. The drink was really good too as I didn't expect to love it. I'm out on a 12:30 on a friday night, participating in dry january as one does when they realize they might have a problem. anyways i wanted a yummy mocktail as a break between redbulls so i said hm the office has food and drink and is a restaurant, i bet they would have a MENU with drinks i could ask for virgin. me and my friends sat down at the office, mind you after getting our IDs checked at the door, and this bartender with dreads comes up to us and i asked for a menu and she said "yea but what can i get u right now real quick???" uhh a menu? okay but then i take out my id before realizing im not even drinking alcohol and before i even had my (illinois) id out of my wallet she's like "i hate to ruin your night but i can not serve you guys my boss will cut that in half" my friend gives it to her and was like do it! and we'll call the cops! im literally almost 23 and mind you i hadn't even ordered anything yet. i get that 23 is young ofc she will ask for it but to assume its fake without even looking at it just because its out of state? this is the top tourist state for godsake. she takes my ID for like 10 mins and she comes back and says it's real (cause it is) and i was like "well it doesn't really matter anyway cause im doing dry january, im not drinking alcohol" and i had to repeat it like 8 times and she just goes "okay well i literally dont know what that means but okay what do u want?" like first of all you're a bartender how do you not know what "dry january" means let alone "not drinking alcohol" like hello? and second of all i don't want anything from you so we left and won't ever be back. don't go here. read more

I went on Saturday 5/24 and our waitress was not the nicest from the start. All of us were seated before happy hour and were ready to indulge and catch up with our big party. There's no way to have a quiet conversation here. Tiled floors, paneled walls, and a wood paneled ceiling seem to reflect and amplify conversation to more than uncomfortable level. Not pleasant. Cocktails came first and honestly not impressed. Beer came out with no head, and the Bloody Mary was made from some flavorless grocery store mix, needed salt, pepper, hot sauce, and still wasn't great. Thank God the food was better than the drinks! * Caesar Salad came with plenty of Parmesan and juicy chicken. * Captain Crunch French Toast was simultaneously crispy and tender, not overly sweet. S.K. did not get the ice cream accompaniment and was pleased as punch. * S.T. got Roscoe's breakfast and proclaimed it pretty much perfect in every way. A soft, fluffy waffle topped with fried chicken, and bacon, with a side of sausage gravy. * I got the JB and other than the bagel not quite toasted enough, and giving me the core end of a tomato, it was also close to perfect. Plenty of salmon, and no slacking on the capers. It did seem a little odd that they had a bathroom attendant for Sunday brunch, but the restroom was clean, so... I came in this evening to get a couple craft cocktails after a long day at work. The bartender(forget her name because I'm bad with memory) was outstanding. She had dreads annd some tattoos and was incredibly personable. she was so friendly and made me one of the best old fashions I ever had. I had a rough day and she got my spirits back up in no time. the manager came over to check on me aswell which these days happens less and less it was refreshing to see they cared about the experience of each customer.
