Pretty straightforward -- we went in for lunch and took advantage of the current promo. We had kimchi pancake, cheese sticks, bulgogi combo box, and spicy squid combo box. They were all pretty good. The staff was attentive and friendly. I was hoping to see more customers there but for some reason the place was empty. Maybe not many people were aware of this place just yet. Would love to try other foods, especially dinner and desserts on my next visit. Parking was plenty which was a plus for me. The restaurant reminded me of a typical mom and pop shop in downtown LA. Anyway, I was happy to see more Korean eateries nearby!

Korean food has really changed a lot since I was young. There are so many types of Korean food that you can get, this place however brings it back to the "old school" basics of my youth: Bimbimbap, Corn Cheese, Tteok-bokki. If you miss that stuff, you should swing by!

Oh man, so good - love the korean street food. The fish cake soup, crab kimbap, and tteboki were pretty lit. I'd totally go back !

I came in for the soft opening, and was pleasantly surprised. The food was so good. I ordered the chicken Tonkatsu, and spicy chicken dumplings. The Tonkatsu box came with a beef dumpling, two seaweed rolls, rice and salad. This was my first time eating seaweed rolls and I really liked them. The dumplings had a little heat, but not to hot. Anyone should be fine eating them. Since it's a soft opening i got a free ice cream. That really hit the spot. Service here was excellent too.

Was craving Korean food and wanted to try this place out as it popped up on the Instagram ads and TikTok. The service was fast as it took only 15 minutes for all of the dishes that were ordered to come out. Everything that was ordered was so delicious and satisfied any cravings. Since the place is currently in their soft opening phase, free ice cream was even offered to the table! Would definitely come back to try the other dishes on the menu!

Ordered rose tteobokki and crab meat kimbap from this place on Ubereats. The rose tteobokki, for a whopping $18, you get 14 rice cakes. Do the math. No fish cake or any other typical ingredients you'd expect from tteobokki. Terrible portion, outrageous pricing. Taste was mediocre at best. The crab meat kimbap was decent, but only because there was a BOGO deal. Otherwise would not have been worth it either.

Found this gem on TikTok and had to check it out -- and wow, it did not disappoint! Super authentic, and you can tell just by looking at the menu and the fresh ingredients. Truly chef's kiss. I went with my girlfriend and, honestly, ordered enough food for a family party because I wanted to try everything. My top recommendations: * Kimbap with bulgogi * Fried beef dumplings * Kimchi fried rice * Cheese tteokbokki (perfect if you like some spice) * Stone pot bulgogi (that crispy rice from the hot stone bowl is unreal). The food was excellent, the service was warm and caring, and you could tell everything was made with love. The restaurant itself is new, super clean, and has great vibes with cool artwork on the walls. One thing that really impressed me -- after eating all that food, I felt zero bloat. That tells me they're using high-quality ingredients, which is rare these days. If I could give this place a 10/10, I would. Definitely recommending it to all my family and friends!

My fiance and I went as a last minute dinner idea and throughly enjoyed it. Service was great and the waitress was very attentive. The food was tasty and fresh. I got a pork katsu cutlet that was perfectly crunchy and the tteokbokki was just the right level of spicy. We also got kimbap that was also pretty good. Pricing was pretty reasonable for the portions you get. It's a great hole in the wall for a casual dinner. Definitely would go again.

The food was very tasty and the owner/server was attentive and came by to check on us. Cute decor and cozy little place. The name of the place confused us because we didn't know if it was a restaurant at first. It would be nice to have a few more banchan side dishes in the future.

Nice new spot in Tustin. Went here on Sunday 10/26 afternoon for the first time. Nice and clean place with great service. Ordered the cheese teokboki which was my favorite. Just enough spicy and full of flavor. The kimbap were also very good with fresh ingredients. The squid tempura was nice and crispy with decent size squid. Overall a hit. Only wish they served beer. Hopefully they will have beer in the near future.

This watered down instant ramen apparently cost $13... lol

Service - Came here for a visit during my Tuesday lunch break, there were only 2 other tables but took forever to get checked in to order and another 20 minutes for food. If you dont want to be late going back to work better order ahead. Food - Very mediocre, we only tried the kimbap and ramen, but everything is basically korean market level taste wise but made fresh in the kitchen. The tuna kimbap had a weird taste, the fish cake kimbap was just...okay... Price - Outrageous pice, lol. A bowl of instant ramen, $13-15 bucks, Korean instant ramen got popularity these days but this is by far the craziest pricing Ive ever seen. Please do yourself a favor go somewhere else

I have my regular dishes but I have pretty much tried a little of everything because I like to come with my girlfriends, work friends, and large date night groups. The ladies who serve us are so sweet, they always serve with a smile and go the extra mile when I bring new friends! I don't want to give my secrets away but the best time to go to Yoo's is right when they open or the off hours, so you can fully immerse yourself in the Korean food goodness!

There is nobody else standing in line outside and the owner comes outside to tell me 2 times that I need to wait 30-40 minutes. I told her there is no waiting in front of me, and that it should be first come, first serve. She says no, you can only sit on tables for 1 person and it will be a 30-40 min wait for that. I said okay, but if there is no line and people are done eating with empty tables it should be fine, right? There is a waitlist, and that it should go in order. She said no, you can only get seated on tables for 1. Then she proceeded to say it's a 30-40 min wait again as if I didn't already know that for the second time. I told her i'd wait, but now i'm feeling bad and don't know if she even cares to earn my business. It's my 5th time coming here, and unfortunately this place was one of my favorite Korean restaurants and since I'm from out of town I make sure to visit each time I am in the OC. I'm not sure if I want to continue coming back here if service remains this way. It's embarrassing enough to come alone, it's even worse when you're called out in front of people inside of the restaurant while there are only 3 people waiting outside. When I got seated she didn't even give me a menu and asked me what I wanted. Lucky for her i'm Korean and was already a repeat customer from the early days so I was able to order right away-otherwise how could I order? God forbid I ask for any recommendations on the menu... 1 star well deserved for this. Congratulations this is the first time I rated a fellow Korean restaurant 1 star. There is a first time for everything I suppose.

This isn't the place for trendy fusion dishes or flashy presentation; it's all about hearty Korean comfort food that feels especially satisfying on a cold day. My go-to Korean dishes are Yukgaejang and Bossam. The spicy beef soup is usually my benchmark for any Korean restaurant. Tang 190's version delivered everything I look for: a rich, deeply flavored broth with a satisfying level of spice and plenty of tender beef throughout. It's the kind of soup that keeps me coming back. This last visit, I finally got to try their pork and kimchi platter. The pork itself was tender and enjoyable, but I wasn't a fan of the cabbage. Instead of being lightly pickled with salt, it had been fermented to the point where it resembled white kimchi. I've actually never seen it made like this before. I definitely prefer the fresher, crisper flavor profile to pair with the pork and radish, so this preparation didn't quite work. Service was efficient, and the meal arrived quickly. On any other day, it's usually a 5 star visit, but the bossam preparation was a huge miss for me. While prices have crept up over the years, Tang 190 still does what it does best: serving comforting, no-frills Korean food that consistently hits the spot.

I ordered the galbi tang and steamed dumplings, and my meal was delicious. The beef ribs were very tender, and they did not skimp out on the meat portions which can sometimes be an issue at other restaurants. I usually order a side of extra glass noodles, but I'm glad I didn't here because the noodle portion was also generous. The dumplings were juicy, and the dipping sauce complimented them perfectly. My favorite galbi tang spots are in Buena Park, but Tang 190 will definitely scratch the itch when I can't wait since I'm local to Irvine.
