The carbonara tteokbokki? Just WOW... creamy, rich, and impossible to stop eating. The fried beef dumplings were packed with flavor and sooo delicious. The beef bulgogi kimbap was super fresh and flavorful, and the stone pot bulgogi bowls were also fresh, flavorful, and incredibly satisfying. The shrimp tempura was light, crunchy, and disappeared in seconds. The only thing that wasn't totally my vibe was the corn cheese -- tasty, but really heavy on the cheese for me. We do agree with others that the portion size was lacking for the higher priced meals. We tried their dumplings soup with rice cake, and thought it was okay. Portion was tiny with few pieces of each in broth. Their stone pot bulgogi bibimbap was better, but still on the smaller portioned size. I've seen mentions of this place on social media, and then we saw it in the shopping center near an Italian restaurant we like. A good selection of Lunch Specials, as well as (to me) unusual items such as green salad, French fries, sweet potato fries, and cheese sticks. I ordered the Tonkatsu Bowl from the lunch specials. Hubby chose the Tonkatsu Curry Plate. I didn't notice the table placard with the Korean drink descriptions at first. Will try something next time. Our meals were tasty, and we thought the portions and prices were reasonable. Our server, Marie, not only checked on us but also brought me a knife without my asking, which I appreciated. She also brought me a fresh cup of tonkatsu sauce for my doggy bag. Good service. Pretty straightforward -- we went in for lunch and took advantage of the current promo. We had kimchi pancake, cheese sticks, bulgogi combo box, and spicy squid combo box. They were all pretty good. I came in for the soft opening, and was pleasantly surprised. The food was so good. I ordered the chicken Tonkatsu, and spicy chicken dumplings. The Tonkatsu box came with a beef dumpling, two seaweed rolls, rice and salad. This was my first time eating seaweed rolls and I really liked them. The dumplings had a little heat, but not to hot. Was craving Korean food and wanted to try this place out as it popped up on the Instagram ads and TikTok. The service was fast as it took only 15 minutes for all of the dishes that were ordered to come out. Everything that was ordered was so delicious and satisfied any cravings. We had the bulgogi plate, spicy pork kimbap and seaweed rolls. Thoroughly enjoyed my bulgogi plate. It included salad, rice, 2 banchan (kim chee and tofu skin), 2 seaweed rolls and 1 pot sticker. Nice new spot in Tustin. Went here on Sunday 10/26 afternoon for the first time. Nice and clean place with great service. Ordered the cheese teokboki which was my favorite. Asked for the thukbokki "less spicy" and it was so crazy spicy that we couldn't even finish it. The beef mandoo had a gamey taste and smell. The kimmari did not taste fresh. I'm so happy I found this place. The food was great. I got the seaweed rolls that were hot and delicious, even without a dipping sauce. Then I got the rose Tteokbokki and it was amazing. Not too spicy and the portion size was enough for 2 people(depending on how hungry you are). The service was wonderful.
