I got the Side of Minestrone Soup and hubs Cesar salad. Yummy bread!

Went there for my birthday/anniversary with my husband and thankfully, we had the most attentive and nice young man helping us. He reminded me of my 23-year-old son wonderful service, all the food came at the right time. Everything tasted as it should will definitely be back to try more different flavors. Left a huge tip since the service was definitely great! It's crazy my credit card company actually thought it was a mistake with such a large tip. We got the most private table away from the huge crowd, and the interior is aesthetically pleasing. I love the old antique furniture. Their meal sets comes with soup or salad, entrée, yummy bread with butter, and of course, the spumoni at the end. There was a table further away from us with a loud kid, but at least he didn't come near us to be a bother.

Haven't eaten here in 17 years and so this was nice to revisit and remember why I loved it in the past. Staff were friendly, we were able to be seated quickly, and the food was great! I forgot to take a photo of the spumoni ice cream, but that was delicious!

I love that you can still get set meals here for a reasonable price. The entree comes with either a soup or salad and ice cream. It also comes with complimentary loaf of bread. I got the calamari $12.99, chicken marsala $24.75 and a cotton candy limeade $4.50. With my meal I chose the green salad with balsamic vinaigrette and spumoni ice cream. My hubby got the spaghetti with meat sauce $21.99. He didn't care for it and said that he liked my spaghetti better. The chicken marsala was delicious. I just love that wine sauce with mushrooms. It came with a side of spaghetti with Mizithra Cheese and Browned Butter. That was also good, but a little on the oily side. I also have to compliment the fried calamari. It was so crispy and tender. I eat calamari everywhere I go and this is one of the best. My husband hates seafood and he couldn't stop eating it. There always seems to be a wait at this place. We waited about half an hour. Luckily, when we got seated it didn't take the food that long to arrive. The service was good. The server came and checked on us a few times.

Celebrating 57 years rollback price $16.57 3 course complete meal.

I haven't been to this restaurant in many years.... Since it was located in Ward warehouse. Its location at Aloha Tower. Parking is located right across the street from the restaurant. On January 31, 2026 Roz M & I had dinner there. She suggested going here and mentioned there was a dinner special for $16. 57. The Old Spaghetti Factory celebrated its 57 years with rollback pricing, and that day was the last day. What a great deal! The price was for a 3 course meal came with your choice of pasta, soup or salad and dessert. Your choice of ice cream vanilla or their signature ice cream spumoni. (Chocolate, pistachio and strawberry flavor combination.) Being it was the last day, it was very busy. We didn't have reservations but were able to sit outside at the bar. Where we met "Aunty Pauline" Service was fast & efficient! I really wanted to sit on the trolley, so of course I had to go back lol... and so I did. On February 22, 2026 I went back with my family and friends. There was six of us. They were going to accommodate my request BUT of course we wanted to sit all together and the tables in the trolly wouldn't fit all of us on one table comfortably. We were offered a family size table right outside of the trolly, that worked. So I guess I'll have to back again. Lol My recommendations- The 3 course meal lobster & crab ravioli for $25. 99. Italian cream soda in a souvenir cup $6.50. I've had the strawberry & orange. Both are delicious! Tips: 1. make your reservations on open table. 2. Sign up for their rewards program. Mahalo to Roz M for re-introducing me to The Old Spaghetti Factory. Looking forward to my next visit & Trolly seating.

The Old Spaghetti Factory has been serving affordable for 3 course meals since 1969, I miss OSF being at the Ward Warehouse, now they are located at Aloha Tower, so glad we still have OSF here on the islands along with the Trolley too. Great time memories dining here with my kids, we sure enjoyed those Spaghetti memories, now it is just me and the other half when we want some classic comfort spaghetti, salads, and soup! Did you know the very first OSF original location opened its door on Jan 10. 1969, I am a fan of OSF so I had to visit during one of my Portland trip. I loved that OSF's pasta entree comes complete 3 course meal with either soup or salad and even dessert, their famous spumoni ice cream. Even their kids' meal comes 3 course, with a drink. My favorite pasta is the clam sauce but really the other selection, so I always opt for manager's favorite, pair two pasta classic. I usually get the salad as my choices but recently tried the minestrone soup. Wow, the soup has tons of ingredients in there, I counted over 10. I enjoyed the soup, a little on the salty side but it was pretty good, the spumoni ice cream is a bonus treat after our meals. The cheesy garlic bread is a favorite for me too but I don't like the complimentary sourdough bread, but adding butter provided helps! Check out the specials during the week days, Meatball Mondays you get a platter of spaghetti with marinara sauce, 4 meatballs, 2 soup or salads, half decanter of house wine, and 2 servings of spumoni ice cream , or Wine Wednesday, you get a bottle of Decoy or Conumdrum for $20. There's a lunch promo also I think with purchase of 6 lunch, 7 is free. All in all, I really enjoyed our meals and visiting OSF, it does get loud, busy here and service may not be the greatest due to short staff, how busy they are but its a great fix for when I am in the mood for spaghetti/carbs!

First time visiting The Old Spaghetti Factory after always passing by and being curious about it. It feels like one of those places that probably holds a lot of nostalgia for people who grew up going here. The interior, especially the train and vintage décor, makes it fun and very family friendly. Tip: park at Aloha Tower Marketplace since the parking is right in front of the restaurant and they validate, which made the visit really convenient. Even though there were plenty of seats available toward the front, my friend and I were seated all the way in the back corner. I'm not sure if they were training a server or just spacing guests out, but sitting in such a large, mostly empty room felt a little odd and took away from the atmosphere. Our server was a super sweet younger gentleman who was kind and attentive throughout the meal. I also liked that the meal comes with soup or salad, an entrée, and dessert. The ice cream was honestly the highlight. The food itself was just okay. I ordered a vegetarian option based on popular recommendations, but the mushroom sauce lacked flavor and the spaghetti was average. The bread was hard to cut and didn't seem very fresh, and the salad was pretty standard. Looking around as we were leaving, other dishes, especially the Alfredo plates, looked much better, so maybe I just didn't order the right thing. I can definitely see the appeal of this place, and it may have been partly what I ordered or being seated in such an empty room while other guests were in warmer, more lively areas. I'm glad I finally visited, but I don't see myself coming back since I'd probably choose to spend that money trying a different restaurant instead.

Update on The Old Spaghetti Factory today had lunch there with my sister and brother in law . There's a pretty good lunch special for the whole month of January. Comes with soup or salad along with your spaghetti and dessert . I was full when I left the restaurant. Service was great from the host to the waiter. Validation parking available in the lot across the restaurant.

I haven't been to this establishment since it moved to the Aloha Tower complex. The service was very good. Both Host and server did an excellent job. The restaurant exhibited the same ambiance as the old location. They even brought the cable car. Which we seated in. The low rating is do to the food. First was my Ceasars salad. It lacked the distinctive Ceasars taste. It was drowned with grated cheese. Next was our appetizer. We ordered the spinach dip. This was served with toasted bread. The bread was delicious. But you couldn't taste the spinach in the dip. This was also heavily laden with grated parmesan cheese. My entree was thier Lasagna.. This was the best part of the meal. It wasn't the best I've had, but I would order it again.

Old Spaghetti Factory at Aloha Tower is such a classic, feel-good spot. Parking is easy with validation (small fee) in the lot across the street, and reservations are simple online or through OpenTable. Every meal comes as a full set -- soup or salad, that warm delicious bread, your entrée, and a scoop of spumoni or ice cream to finish. It's such a great value and always feels like a treat. The pasta with mizithra cheese is forever a hit -- buttery, savory, and pure comfort food. I also like adding the chicken marsala when I want a little extra protein. Flavorful and satisfying every time. The atmosphere is half the fun -- you can sit in a trolley, cozy booth, or regular table surrounded by all the quirky, vintage décor. It's actually our birthday tradition because you get a free birthday meal (just be sure to sign up for their online program ahead of time to get the coupon!). And if you have a few extra minutes, take a stroll around Aloha Tower Pier after dinner. The sunsets there are beautiful and make the whole evening feel special.

ORDERED: Chicken Parmigiana $24.50 n' Chicken Marsala $24.75 both with Mizithra Cheese & Browned Butter Spaghetti. Fettuccine Alfredo n' Mac & Cheese for kids meals (free, read below. Normally $8.99 each). SERVICE: came during dinner time so understandable it would be busy. Had to re-ask twice after initial request for a side of creamy pesto sauce. Take home bag for our leftovers took longer than expected to receive. Would suggest if asking for 4 boxes, should automatically receive a bag. INTERIOR: spacious. Vintage decor. Family-friendly feel. EXTERIOR: located next to The Aloha Tower WAIT TIME: 10-15 mins for walk-in on a Thursday afternoon PARKING: lot in front, tiny spaces/roadway, can get partial validation at check-in desk prior to leaving. Pay machine to the left when facing restaurant. OVERALL COMMENTS: have always been a fan of OSF. The fact that you can get a full course meal (bread, salad, main, dessert) is worth revisiting time n' time again. Also, they are a kid-friendly restaurant. We were celebrating my son's bday n' specifically came for the buy 1 adult entree, receive 1 free kids meal that we came across on social media n' expires 06/30/2026. Either the staff had no idea about the deal so we were initially denied, but after asking other staff, it was finally granted. We enjoyed our meal bc our fave is the Spaghetti with Mizithra Cheese & Browned Butter (I also personally L.O.V.E. the creamy pesto sauce n' spumoni ice cream), the selection of kids meals is good, n' we look forward to the balloon guy that makes each visit special for our kiddos!

Very personable and lovely Hayley made our lunch enjoyable. Magnetic personality she was efficient taking and placing our order. She checked on us several times during our meal. I was looking forward to the spumoni but coming from her mouth, no spumoni or orange today but we have vanilla was absolutely okay. The calamari was fried perfectly, crisp, not overly cooked. My clam classic pasta was creamy and delicious. Enjoyed getting it as a birthday freebie by email then redeeming it on the app. Hubs had a chicken panini sandwich with potato chips and a salad. For some reason the hot bread and strawberry lemonade weren't my favorite but the salad instead of soup with pesto dressing was nicely chilled with strands of purple and orange veggies scattered within. I had left overs and I'm sure you know who'll be grinding on it tonight.. you guessed right!!! Hubs! After she posed for my Yelp photo It was so nice of Hayley to ask for my name at the end and say See you again with a fantastic smile. Now on to our 3 errands at Pearlridge... Mahalo Old Spaghetti Factory for my generous early birthday surprise.

Train car we sat in inside the dining room.

Reservation were easy to get and make for a Saturday evening. The building inside is stunning! I asked in my reservation to be seated in the train car and was delighted that they made it happen! With a modest menu, choosing something wasn't difficult. Each entree comes with a choice of soup or salad, and a scoop of ice cream at the end. The food was...okay. I got the fettuccini Alfredo and a side of chicken parmigiana. The chicken was SO dry. Incredibly hard to cut dry. The pasta was good enough, but nothing to write home about. The service was mediocre at best. Drinks sat empty, and we sat a long time between things with dirty dishes piled on the end of the table. He was kind, but not attentive. Bathrooms were clean and bright. Parking near by can be validated.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. This is the first time I've been to this location at Aloha Tower, used to go to the Ward center location years ago. The decor was the same as the old location, and probably some of the furniture was brought over to this location. Lunch service was good thank you to our server Adam, though I think they are slightly understaffed for this time of day. Today I had the meat lovers which had two meatballs, Italian sausage, in a meaty marinara sauce, which also came with a small side salad and ice cream. Here's a hack. Order the vanilla ice cream and ask for a small portion of Browned butter for a delicious topping. Meal was delicious just like I remembered it in the 1980s, but could use some updating. Overall, would I come back again on a normal basis like I used to back in the 80s and 90s? probably not, Feel free to follow me as I tour the world looking for delicious food experiences. The Old Spaghetti Factory Reviews in Other Languages

Ask the Community - The Old Spaghetti Factory

Do they have the 2 for one on Mondays? 2 Spaghetti and meatballs meals for $25.00?

    YES THEY DO!

Are dogs that are not service animals allowed at the outdoor patio?

Do they have a Saturday buffet?

No buffet... but they are open for lunch and dinner!

    Any shrimp or fish dish?

Clams is the only thing I see on the menu

    Do you offer BYOB?

I have never seen anyone bring in their own alcohol. The restaurant sells drinks- you could call the restaurant to ask if they allow outside drinks

I have a complimentary classic birthday offer but I ordered take out for my husband and myself and neither are classic is it possible to pay the difference?

You can't do a trade off. It has to be a dish from the classic part of menu. I tried and didn't get the credit.

Does anyone know if they sell the spumoni ice cream to take home? Of anywhere that may sell it? :)

    4.5 Quart $20.00

    Do they accept reservations?

The short answer: yes, but in a limited number. I'm told they have not experienced wait times of more than 10 minutes or so since reopening. Walking in should be fine or you can still ask for a reservation (which may or may not be granted). Happy…

Is there temporary parking when picking up take out orders?

Yes, there is a loading zone right outside. I'm not sure for how long it is for though, so best to probably call in your order then go to pick up.

I would like to send an email to management rather than a bad review...please tell me how?

Maybe the website has an email address to contact?

Is there a semi private room to hold a small party of 15 - 20 people?

There is the back room which they can set up longer tables. it's a shared room with other patrons but you are more at the end of the room.

I don't see Garlic Mizithra on the menu. Do they still make it?

YES!!! the first time we went I asked and the guy said if they made it at the previous location they can do it. It was still as good as I remember it. Not sure why it's not on the menu.

What about parking in big lot diamond head side past falls of Clyde? Is validation good there?

Hi, I just had dinner here last night, and parking wasn't free. They will give you another ticket…

Where is the best place to park?

There's self parking right in front of the restaurant. It's a very tight parking lot. With Validation, Free for the first hour and $1 every half an hour

I ate the chicken because my son refuses to eat protein ). The Alfredo sauce was absolutely delicious. It tasted homemade and fresh, like someone actually made it from scratch instead of opening a jar. It was creamy without being overly heavy and had such a rich, authentic flavor. What really made our visit stand out, though, was the service. I wish I could remember our cashier's/server's name because she deserves a shoutout. My son and I both have food allergies, so before ordering we needed to make sure everything was safe for us to eat. She was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and happy to answer all of our questions. She also helped me figure out which pasta would be the best choice for my picky 7-year-old and even arranged for the grilled chicken to be served on the side instead of mixed into the pasta. That small accommodation made all the difference since my son wouldn't have touched it otherwise. The portion size was perfect for sharing between the two of us, and we both left happy (which is saying a lot when dining with a picky eater!). Between the fresh, flavorful food and the exceptional customer service, this was a wonderful experience. It's always refreshing to find a place that not only serves great food but also takes the time to make families with dietary restrictions feel comfortable and cared for. We'll definitely be back!

It was warm inside the restaurant which made us decide not to order adult beverages. They offer BYOB. Check with them prior to your reservation about corkage fees. We were given a few slices of crusty bread, olive oil balsamic, and ice water. They suggest ordering family style. We shared Tagliatelle Neri e frutti di Mare which was my favorite! Haha yup 8 visits, and they've been just as consistent with their food, quality, and friendly service every single time! We love that it's not outrageously expensive. Just know you're paying for freshly homemade pasta, and they definitely don't skimp on the proteins, especially the seafood! I love that the seafood flavors here are elevated and not covered by the pasta sauce. We usually do walk-ins instead of making reservations, and as long as we arrive before they open, there are typically bar seats available. Sometimes we're even offered a table as long as we can finish by a certain time. We've tried almost all of the pastas (lol I also have so many pictures to show), but here are some of our all-time favorites that we order again and again: * Dungeness Crab Meat Pasta with Vodka Sauce * Fettuccine Aragosta (lobster with pink sauce) * Vongole (clam) pasta * Risotto Funghi with foie gras * Crab Ravioli * Crème Brûlée Cheesecake

About 10 minutes before my 2:00 PM pickup time, I received a text letting me know my order was ready, which was a nice surprise. I ordered the IL Parma sandwich, and it was absolutely delicious. At $24, it's definitely on the expensive side for a sandwich, but the quality of the ingredients and the freshness made it worth every penny. The flavors were fantastic, and I didn't mind paying the premium price after taking that first bite. Parking can be a little tricky. I'm not sure whether customers are allowed to use the Hana Koa parking lot for quick pickups, but a kind employee allowed me to park there while I ran in to grab my order. There are only a few parking spaces directly in front of Bocconcino, so that's something to keep in mind. There's some tables under a covered area, right next to the store. Many people were seated there talking story and enjoying drinks. Overall, a great experience and an excellent sandwich. I'll definitely be back for another Italian sandwich!

My only complaint is that I wish it had more sauce. I'm a saucy gal! The bite that had a good amount of sauce was incredibly flavorful, but the rest of the slice was a bit dry, and I tasted more oil than tomato sauce. It was great dough but the flavor was not there for me. I really want to love this pizza more! The staff was friendly, though it took a little while to get my slice. They reheat each slice to order, and they were busy making other items, so it was understandable. I'll be back to try a panini!

The Grilled Kampachi was so good. Cooked to perfection with amazing seasoning and flavors. The accompanying sauce had hint of curry with lovely freh herbs. Loved it! My fave dish of all the ones we tried. We also had the Capellini Granchio. This was also delish. Pasta was perfect. A good amount of crab to flavorful noodles. I will definitely return in the future to try more things and have the Kampachi again. This would make a nice date spot. Dishes are impressive.

Fois gras torchon - rich, nice sweet sauce, onion confit, on sourdough grilled bread. This can't not be good. Dan mien - liked the consistency of noodles silky and chewy. My father and brother are both military veterans and enjoyed the fact that this venue was situated at a golf course they patronized before. We all ordered drinks--I ordered a bottle of wine, taking advantage of the Half-off Wine Wednesdays; some tried the alcohol specials and others simply elected to have soda. I ordered a few appetizers for the table and those went quickly: calamari, bruschetta, and artichoke dip. Yum! Main entrees followed and everyone seemed to enjoy their selections. We ordered dessert and were disappointed that they ran out of creme brulee...my father ordered the cheesecake and thoroughly enjoyed it. My only reason for not giving five stars has to do with the outdoor seating. I wish the chairs were more comfortable, as we sat there for awhile, waiting for our server to take our large group order along with waiting for food to come out. There is adequate parking and the restrooms are clean and accessible. An elevator is located in the lobby for those who are not able to easily climb the flight of stairs to the venue. Food was okay but the view and ambience were nice, especially at Christmas at Night! It's a huge restaurant with seating for parties with a lot of free parking shared with the golfers at the golf course. Indoor and outdoor seating. The last time, my friends weren't too impressed, but we did try variety of dishes from pizza, salad, pasta and appetizers. They have some specials from time to time. So sad that tomorrow is their last day of business according to my friend. Sad to see many restaurants are closing soon.
