However, in the whole time my family was at the restaurant, we only saw our waitress (Annabel) 5 times. Once to take drink orders, once to take meal orders, once to check in on us, once to give us our dessert, and once to give the check. We had to ask other waiters/waitresses two times for help with things such as water refills, an extra salad dressing, and dessert orders. Also, once she finally got to our table to take our check, we didn't get our final check back for 7 minutes. We also asked to see the manager, and we didn't see him for 20 minutes. We finally saw him after asking two more waiters to see the manager. His excuse for our waitress's behavior was that she was new and it was a busy night. Those shouldn't be excuses for why we only see our waitress 5 times during our entire stay. I went up to the hostess and asked how much longer because I waited because the time was within my time frame but now it's cutting close and her response was "oh, I'm sorry. I got there at 5:39 and called the To Go line and they would bring my food out. 30 mins later nothing. I called again and they said they will check with the kitchen. 15 more mins and nothing. The OSF has been refreshed recently. Remodeled restrooms. Updated "Lobby" and general dining room freshening. We made a reservation for Friday evening for 4, arrived early and was seated quickly on the Trolley . Dallas took care of us wonderfully from getting our ice teas and two loaves of bread out quickly to bringing our spumonis and to go ice teas and the end. Dallas was great! Our meals were great. Spaghetti for two of us and ravioli for the others. We liked the creamy pesto salad dressing. The spaghetti sauces are all very good. Suggest getting the managers favorite or pot pourri to be able to have more than one sauce. Making it a hearty meal for a little extra will make you very full. The spumoni is always a nice finish. This place was crazy crowded at 4:30 on Sunday, so make sure have a reservation. Then make sure they don't lose it after you check in. But if they do, ask for the manager and know she will handle it. She apologized, figured out the problem, got us seated promptly, and sent some delicious comp appetizers to our table. Came here for the first time the other day as it's close to the Phoenix Art Museum so it was a convenient stop for dinner after spending the day at the museum. We were seated promptly and greeted by a somewhat nervous new server who had a trainer with him. Both were polite and the service was great. The new server is gonna turn out to be a great server just based on how he did on his first day. I got the chicken parm with the minestrone soup and sherbet to finish the meal off. The minestrone soup was more vegetable-heavy than I like so I didn't eat much of it. The chicken parm was just okay. It was nothing special really. The sherbet was really good though and I liked the service we got while we were there. My companion really enjoyed the crab ravioli too. I went with a group of 6 and they sat us at a table that was boxed in by see-through dividers, which we loved since it felt secluded but we weren't completely closed off from whole restaurant. This place was much bigger on the inside than we originally thought, there was a whole train car in there. Our server was super friendly and while we ate a man came around and made us balloon hats while telling us dad jokes. He totally make our night! We chose the Spaghetti Factory for a birthday celebration. The restaurant est. in 1969 was thriving on a Sunday night. The vintage house with its antique decor, gleaming wood floors and woodwork is a one of a kind restaurant. An actual trolley car is one dining room. Great menu offerings. We ordered the lasagna and various sauces for our spaghetti. The marinara, clam, meatballs and other sauces were superior to the usual chain restaurant fare. Everything we had was quality delicious food. Spinach artichoke dip, fresh baked sourdough bread, generous caesar salad, spumoni ice cream for dessert. The four of us were totally satisfied and pleased with our meal. The 82 year old b'day girl just got a candle in her spumoni as her treat. I've gone to multiple locations of this restaurant and this one is not a place I want to return to. I know this place gets busy, but that isn't a good excuse to be rude. When we checked in at the host stand, we were told the wait was going to be about 40-45 minutes. There were about 7 small groups sitting inside, so I found that a little strange. So I asked if we could order at the bar. The employee said if the bartenders weren't too busy that we might be able to order an appetizer, but that it wasn't guaranteed to do even that. We ended up ordering our food to go. The employee who helped us with picking up our food was pleasant. When we got home, the portions were tiny compared to what I've had at the restaurant. I've never finished my food when dining in. In this case I finished everything and was still a little hungry. The tiny Chinese food container had like a scoop of salad and a separate sauce container with 5 croutons. Disappointing visit and not sure I will feel positive about this brand anymore. :( read more

I'm going to tell you that you CAN eat keto here! If you used to be a fan of Old Spaghetti Factory's brown butter and mizithra, you don't have to miss it on keto. Swap the carby pasta for broccoli ($2 extra)! I know what you're thinking, broccoli isn't as good as pasta! And you're not wrong. But if you try to eat broccoli thinking it's pasta, you're kinda dumb. If you eat broccoli knowing it's broccoli, you'll be really impressed by how it carries the brown butter and how the mizithra texture shines. The manager, Charlie, honored our coupon since we just came from the event. In fact, Charlie gave us great customer service the entire night, he double checked with us when the bills came to ensure adequate charges. Most of their entrees qualify as "three-course meals" meaning soup/salad, entrée and dessert. Why doesn't every restaurant do this?!! Appetizer: Sicilian Garlic Cheese Bread Excellent blend of three cheeses served with marinara sauce. I personally like my garlic bread on the crunchy side, and this was too soft for my taste. Three Course Meal: The Managers Favorite - Mizithra Cheese with Browned Butter and Traditional Marina I ordered the salad with the house dressing of basil and ranch. Too much dressing for the salad, but it's up your alley if you're a fan of ranch, if not their house balsamic was just as tasty. The pasta was cooked appropriately to al dente and not watery at all! I wasn't a fan of the mizithra cheese because it felt too dry even with the butter sauce; I think a garlic butter sauce would be a better option. Dessert was a scoop of ice cream, and I mean how could you go wrong? It's the perfect size to round out your meal. Dessert: Mud Pie Cake Chocolate on chocolate on chocolate. It's rich, so I recommend sharing. You'll probably want a glass of milk to go with it! I wish they had eggplant parmesan on the menu because they have chicken parmesan. I drive by The Old Spaghetti Factory almost daily and FINALLY stopped in last week. I received the free entree for my bday and decided that it was time. We walked in and were originally sat in the very full street car, which normally would've been great, but since it was so full, we decided to go over to the bar to eat. The bartender was really nice and everything ended up being great! We ordered the fried ravioli, the spaghetti plate with meat sauce and the brown butter and cheese, a spaghetti plate with only brown butter and cheese, a minestrone, a salad, and one scoop of rainbow sherbet. If its spaghetti you want, they have it in many ways! They even have a gluten free option, which I defiantly am grateful for. I had the gf spirals with mushroom marinara. It was good though I had to ask for more sauce. I'm a saucy gal! Ha The restaurant has a fun atmosphere including a street car in the middle which you can dine in. Cute idea especially for kids. It's a great place for large groups and parties. I will say the that the place could use a little cleaning up. I had to switch out my chair because it was stained and dirty. Eww. The Old Spaghetti Factory is a place of many memories for me. When I turned 18, my friends and I went to OSF by whim. We had be doing research at the Burton Bar Library and it was just right there. When we first walked it, we were mesmerized by the comfy looking couches, the retro games, the sleigh in the corner... and when we sat down to eat in those big velvet chairs, we were hooked. It was love at first sight. We even got to take home our glasses since we had the Italian sodas! The food is excellent, portions are decent, and you get some spumoni at the end of your meal. How great is that? With prom being one or two weeks later, we all went with our dates and a bigger group back to the OSF. Everybody loved the food. We were all dolled about and had a great time there! Now when I look in my cupboards six years later, I see a dozen OSF glasses. If you can't tell, I'm a big fan of the place. :3 read more

I wrote a review on the Chandler location and gave them five stars. I love this Phoenix location even more! I like the vibe in this restaurant. There is so much character to the building and as you walk around you see that it's huge! Our server was a sweetheart and kept replacing our bread and butter. I ordered my Mizithra with the bacon on the side. If you have ever thought this dish was overwhelming, try it with the bacon on the side so you can control how strong you want the flavor to be. I ordered an Italian soda and they brought me a Spaghetti Factory glass souvenir! It might just be a seasonal thing so I'd ask first in case they don't always do this. There is even a trolley in the middle where you can be seated at a table to eat. The food was amazing. I usually can't finish a full meal in one sitting but it was so good I somehow found room to eat every last bite as well as share a dessert. I got the baked chicken which had good seasoning, but was a little dry. The dish came with a side of pasta and I got the spaghetti with mizithra cheese and browned butter. It was amazing!The dinner comes with free ice cream or sorbet but I opted to pay extra to get the mud pie. I have no regrets in doing that! The dessert was delicious. The waitress was very attentive and sweet. We did wait a little longer than usual to order drinks but once she got to our table the service wasn't slow. Now a days if you enter your cell phone in the ipad at the entrance they will send you specials via text message. Would always order the Managers Special and get half clam sauce and half met sauce. The meal comes with salad or soup and dessert ice cream and use to include ice tea which is a dollar now. Not the most incredible pasta you will ever have but good especially if you can get a 2 for 1 special. Will always come back for more but will try to take advantage of the specials to maximize the dollar. This is a nice family friendly restaurant. The space is big and there is an arcade by the front while you wait. We went on a Friday night and had a 20-30 minute wait. I'm guessing it would normally be packed if they didn't have to follow social distancing guidelines. We ordered the cheesy bread appetizers which were deliciously soft and cheesy. Definitely order this when you go. The salads that came with our entrees were crisp and cold. I got a minestrone soup which was very flavorful. Overall food was great and service was very friendly. By the way, when are you getting the ceiling painted? Salad: drenched in dressing, almost asked for more lettuce for my dressing. No stars Dinner: Chicken Piccata. 1 Star, way too much Oil's in my Pasta and Chicken. Service: 2 Star/ Once you have been served they "poof" vanish... That's all I got, way too much to point out. It's the Old Factory and you come for cheap food, bus stop feel food court and the small dish of ice cream that once you eat it you will forget everything that went wrong while you were in here. One of our favorites is Spaghetti Vesuvius which is a spicy blend of tender chicken, sausage, and meatball chunks with green peppers and onions, seasoned with Tabasco and Sambal Chili Paste. HOLY YUM!!! A tasteful delight to the tongue!! There are many other tasty options as well!! The complimentary bread is the bomb!! The salad dressings are unique and tasty, not the standard boring stuff!! Every meal includes a salad or soup choice AND a scoop of spumoni, vanilla ice cream or sherbet! My family has been dining here on a regular basis for DECADES!! It is a family favorite!! My parents brought us here as kids, we brought our kids here and now we bring grandkids here too!!
