We saw this place as we were going to another place to eat. Decided to stop in and give it a try...we're so bored with the HUGE chain pizza shops. We got the #8, and was very impressed. The dough is very good, the sauce seems very simple, toppings were fresh...and the sausage is AMAZING. We also ordered a caprese salad, and although we're used to having a balsamic drizzle over it, a little olive oil, salt and pepper is JUST FINE. Not sure what the hoopla is all about. The dough was too gummy and the cheese was thick and gloopy. Reminded me of the pizza at chuck e cheese in the sense of it leaving an after taste. We went here last night for dinner and it was a great experience. Walking in the staff greeted us and prompted is to the menu. All very helpful and friendly. We ordered 2 small cheese pizzas for the kiddos and a medium for me and my boyfriend. When I asked the kids on a scale of 1-10 what they have it and both said 10! There wasn't much room inside to sit but the outside looked nice. It was too chilly to sit outside so we found a place at a bar top seating along the windows. For desert we tried the baclava. None of us had ever had it before and were feeing on the spirit of trying new things, we went for it. Very, very tasty! Definitely coming back :) read more

Gotta love a place where the workers are hustling. The two guys working today need a raise. Answering phone calls, slinging pizzas, making salads, nice to customers, etc... They ran out of feta cheese for my wife's Greek salad, apologized, offered us any other salad and rushed our order through. Tiny place, HUGE flavor. As the photo I submitted shows, the slice is AS BIG AS YO HEAD! Great crust, fresh toppings, and delicious flavors. If you get the standards, they are pretty reasonable. This is our 2nd attempt at looking for a NY style pizza place after moving to the area. The first place didn't meet our expectations, so we were on the search for another place. This is where this leads us to here. The crust is definitely closer to NY style, however, not quite our expectation. The flavor of the sauce was a little too much on the garlicky side and I was afraid my garlic-hating husband wouldn't like it. He didn't even notice it. It was good enough and rates higher than the last place we went to. If we can't find another place, we'll be back. I know that I rated it a 4, however, to me, it was more of a high 3.5. I rounded to a 4 because it didn't disappoint and I need to rate this place higher than the other place I rated. Looking forward to trying more toppings here. read more

I'm super spoiled with a bunch of great pizza spots near my house. Desanos. Conans. Eastside Pies. It's rare that I'll travel more than two minutes away for pizza. This place happens to be about two minutes away from my office, so it fit the rule. Props for being incredibly convenient and really quick (the lunch special turnaround was just a few minutes for a fresh, hot slice and a salad). The pizza is solid. Not the best I've ever put in my mouth, but definitely a strong standard representation of this style of pizza (giant, thin, crispy, not much sauce). Here's the surprising thing - their salads are actually EXCELLENT. I've been pleasantly surprised with both the greek and the garden salads and I'd honestly consider heading over there to get a large salad with chicken for a meal vs other places in the area... if I could avoid the siren song of a slice, which would be hard. Quick and friendly service. Asked for my slice well done, so it was really crispy without being burned. It's one of the better places to get "NY Style" pizza in the area. I hate thick, doughy pizza and was really happy with my pep, fresh garlic and basil slice. I was able to pick up the entire slice without the toppings sliding off. read more

Generally I have no problem with the food. The issue I have is how long it takes to get on UberEats. Ok I know UE bases it on demand but this wasn't their fault at all. I tracked from beginning to end and it sat there for 30 mins saying preparing, then the delivery driver shows up and I can se he waits atleast ten minutes while it says finishing up. He even commented when delivering my order that they didn't seem to be in much of a hurry. Management here needs to get off their a$$ and fix this. Well been working in town for about 2 months and this has been my spot to get pizza until about 1 hour ago smh. Ordered a large pie (half sausage/ pepperoni/ cheese) they told me 20-25 min got there in 15 min right at closing time 8pm. Walked in and they gave my pie away to another guy. Never thought about asking what's the name??? On top of that they didn't care basically told me come back tom. We are already closed! Sucks because I was looking forward to a good pizza for dinner. So - we order a delivery from the company. I've order from them before and never experienced a problem. On this occasion however - there was a problem. When ordering a large, one topping pizza - my wife was quoted a $16.18 price - fine... When the driver arrives - it was magically $26.18. I paid the guy $30 and figured I'd speak with my wife when she got home to see where the difference came from. Quite a difference and honestly $25 for a large one topping? SO - we called and asked about the difference and had to get a call back. We did and the lady on the phone said it was actually $21 - with a $4 delivery charge was $25. I told her we were quoted $16.18 - and asked where was the difference... blah, blah, blah - I think you get it. She got nasty and got the manager on the phone. He came on all ballsy and said 'look - the price is the price.' I told him I don't doubt it - but would have considered otherwise had we known we'd be out of pocket $30 ... it is what it is. It wasn't until I said I would YELP about the incident that he offered any make good - and offered a free cheese pizza for my next order. By that time I was disappointed enough that I told him to keep it and that it would the last time I'd do business with them. Recommendation to the restaurant... keep your NY attitude in NY. Adhering to my policy of never eating from the huge conglomerate over commercialized pizza places we sorta stumbled upon Brooklyn Pie Co. So we drove over after ordering through the chilly drizzle kinda excited to try a new place. They pulled out this very large box with our pizza in it and i just wanted to dive in right there. OBPC makes a good looking pizza and the toppings seemed pretty generous. My daughter took one bite and proclaimed it a winner. The cheese, sauce and toppings were all tasty. Ridiculous. I waited an hour for a pizza, which the restaurant isn't even a minute down the street from my apartments , on Hesters crossing road, same road The restaurant is located on. When I got the pizza it was completely smooshed to one side of the box and completely cold. Also my friend had to walk all the way out in the parking lot to receive the pizza because the delivery guy couldn't find my apartment . The positive note was that the guy I called back to make the complaint , he was very respectful and apologetic and asked if I wanted the managers number so I could make the complaint so I could get a discount next time. I don't eat pizza very often, but I still know good pizza. This place has great pizza. I usually get it by the slice, but this isn't your ordinary small slice of pizza, no...it's ginormous! It's about a 1/3 of a Large whole pizza. I usually get a slice of pepperoni with mushrooms, jalapenos, black olives and peppers, a water and occasionally a side salad, which usually proves to be to much to eat in one sitting, for around $8.50. Dining inside can prove to be a little challenging as the space inside is kind of crammed, but they make up for it with the outdoor seating. The service is great, the establishment is great and the pizza is even better. Enjoy. read more

UMMM I love the pizza from Brooklyn Pie so much that I'm not sure how to describe it. Let me start by saying that I have been to none of the fancy, trendy pizza places closer to downtown Austin. I live in Round Rock (yes I am awesome), therefore Brooklyn Pie is the nearest non-Pizza-Hut-Papa-Johns-Dominos establishment to me. We never actually eat at the restaurant (it's quite small), usually the husband calls in our order on his way home from work and stops to pick it up. My favorite: the margarita. His favorite: the NY classic, which has all sorts of meat and veggies on it. Pizza is thin crust with the perfect amount of sauce (one of the worst things in the world is a pizza with not enough sauce!). Husband's parents grew up in New York, and his mom is always looking for great pizza, and she really enjoyed it also. I've also found that when we have leftovers, a good couple of minutes under the broiler in the oven reheats this pizza pretty well. read more

Would skip school to go have lunch there and ordered all the time for our Friday and Saturday night get togethers. When it moved to round rock, we still made the treck to eat there. It's been almost 3 years since I was last there and the food we recently got there is a sad representation of what I remember. We gave them the benefit of the doubt and tried them twice in the last 2 months. Poor poor showing The dough is dry and lacks flavor. It's covered, seriously covered in flour. Both times the pizza was very sloppily assembled and due to cheese spilling all over it cause a considerable amount of burning from during the cooking process. Sauce was discussing. As far from fresh as I've ever tasted. Seriously, Pizza Hut and dominos sauce tastes better. It just doesn't fit the style of pizza, it has a strange sweet flavor and contains too much oregano. Cheap choice of cheese. Doesn't cook properly and requires too long of cooking which adds more to overcooking the dough. I won't waste your time discussing toppings as I feel that if they can't properly make a cheese pizza, anything else would be just as bad. read more

Never again! I visited this location maybe 6-8 months ago and really enjoyed it. It's very close to my apartment so it's super convenient. Tonight my boyfriend and I decided to visit again since our normal spot is kinda far away....big mistake. We ordered a medium pepperoni and sundried tomato pizza to go. We had to wait a a little while due to it being pretty crowded, no big deal. When we got home with the pizza and bit into it, the sundried tomato was so burnt that it was like taffy. It was so badly burnt even under the cheese that we couldn't just pull off the bad pieces. The cheese congealed around it and was just all around awful.
