Very cute place and we came for happy hour around 5. No wait and the server was very attentive and friendly! The food had some hits like the burger and the Chinese bbq pork taco. The kimchi balls were a bit salty. Overall a nice experience.
Pleasant atmosphere, ALL staff was absolutely wonderful and it made our visit more enjoyable. From the greeter, to waitress, and the guys who came from the kitchen with our food and bar. We enjoyed the kimchi rice balls, drinks, burger, chicken wings, pesto noodles, egg fries, Brussels sprouts, tacos and ice cream. They will make many things on the menu vegetarian if you ask. We had people at our table arriving at different times, asking for some items to be on the side or a wait on when to bring drinks etc all of that happened perfectly due to great staff. Definitely will be back!
Several years since we've been to this location of The Peached Tortilla. Service was outstanding, thank you Abbey! Still great food ... crispy fries and umami chicken wings to start, both overwhelmingly good. We had #60 fried rice for the table, delicious. Entrees included bahn mi and brisket tacos, southern fun (spicy good), and pork belly bowl... everyone tried everything, all concurred over the top! Banana Nutella spring rolls and dreamcicle flan to finish. Both excellent! Dropped a couple of stars on the rating: charged for an iced tea refill and an undisclosed 5% "wellness fee" added to the check. Just BS charges! Becoming more common in nicer restaurants in Austin. Disclose hidden charges up front, so diners have a choice, or get dinged in reviews! It ruins an otherwise great experience! We avoid restaurants that do that ...
What should had been a 4.5* meal ended as a 3*, but I'll get to that at the end. The meal itself was great... my group shared 2 orders of the pork belly buns, the kimchi arancini balls, the dan dan noodles, and the ram don special. We enjoyed all of the dishes and were surprisingly full from just this (there were 3 of us). The cost of the food itself was pretty good at just under $60 for those 5 dishes before tax and tip. I wasn't drinking but my friends had a few cocktails. Overall service was really good except for a couple issues where they forgot or brought the wrong drink. I normally wouldn't even mention it but it plays to the part that pissed us off. We were paying with inKind and were only given a check number to settle our check with. We paid it and figured we'd split it later on our own time. Well when I checked the emails, nothing added up when I was doing the math. After trying to figure out where I was going wrong, I discovered there's a hidden 5% service fee at The Peached Tortilla. A 5% service charge is annoying enough and we actively avoid restaurants that do this, but nothing on the inKind screen or in my email even mentions this fee. It's just hidden in the taxes/fees. We tipped very generously not knowing this fee existed and feel pretty ripped off, honestly, not to mention having my time wasted trying to figure out why I couldn't split the check like a normal person. I believe the service charge might be a line item on a physical check, but we weren't given one, and none of our servers conveniently mentioned it on our ~$200 check that we tipped over 20% on. I'm so annoyed writing this review that maybe I should even change it to a 2* review. I hope it was worth it to management to lose what was a pretty happy group who were leaving the restaurants already making plans to return.

Fried rice may sound simple but tasted like something I haven't had before; delicious. Dish was filling and paired it with some bao buns and brussel sprouts to share. Although the sprouts had a good flavor they were a little over sauced as you couldn't taste the sprouts nor the crisp. Drinks were good and atmosphere was great. Indoor seating is more cozy but compliments the vibe of a smaller restaurant. Server was great and she offered great menu recommendations when we couldn't decide. Would recommend.
We came here for brunch and were pleasantly surprised to find there was no wait and the staff were all super friendly and attentive. We ordered the Katsu Chicken Sandwich and the Char Siu Bowl, and both dishes were absolutely delicious! Both dishes were a perfect balance of textures and flavors, and very unique. We'll definitely be coming back again.
Doordashed this for my first dinner in Austin!! We love a good asian/mexican fusion place. Everything came still hot, presentation of the food was great, flavors were YUM! I got: - The Taco Trio (Brisket, Banh Mi, Cauliflower): YUM! My faves were the Banh Mi and Brisket. The cauliflower was also good, but I probably wouldnt get it again. Great veg option tho! 3 sauces on the side for an array of flavorrr. - Kimchi Arancini Balls: My only note was that it only came with 5!!! Which for me by myself was more than enough but not quite "shareable" because I can eat the whole thing on my own. Whatever the orange sauce is, like a sriracha mayo, is delish!!!! Again for me doordashing this, it was solid.
I came here years ago and thought it was only ok (too salty). But I came again recently and really enjoyed things. Forgot to take a pic, but we had the brisket and banh mi tacos. At $16 for 3, they weren't badly priced. Both tasted great but I especially like the banh mi pork belly one. The meat was so so good, and makes me think that I really should get the pork belly bao buns next time. The brisket taco was good, but also this is Austin, and we have lots of great brisket here. So this one felt less special/different. The asian pear and miso salad -- this was a surprisingly large portion size (big pile of leaves arranged on the side of the plate). But the name ultimately promised more flavor than I got. The pear wasn't as bright and sweet as I would've liked. The miso dressing was not as punchy and felt even maybe a little watered. Umami chicken wings were umami indeed and definitely recommend. The wings were both drum and flats together. Our serving came with three FYI. They were on the small side but tasty. Loooooved the Hangar Steak Ssam! And thought it was a decent serving for the price. The meat was perfectly medium rare, great ssam flavor, punchy kimchi, and butter lettuce to make some great wraps. Cocktails were great here; service excellent. Note: I was a little annoyed by the $25 cancellation charge for reservations (if canceling within 24 hrs). We got there and realized that we absolutely did not have to make a reservation that night (Sunday). Oh, and the other big bonus is that they are on the in-kind app, so that can end up saving you a lot of money.
Servers were nice and knowledgeable about the menu. I liked that the vegan options were clearly noted, and the cauliflower tacos were tasty! Parking was tight during happy hour, but they do have a dedicated lot.
First time coming to the Burnet location and I'm happy there was parking in the back of the restaurant. Parking really makes or break if I go to certain places because I get stressed out. We went right before the lunch crowd came and they had their brunch menu. We got the Brisket Hash and Char Siu Breakfast Bowl. I tried a piece of the Char Siu and it wasn't too bad. It looked pretty filling and pretty decent size for the price. I got the Brisket Hash and I was pleasantly surprised how much I liked it. I don't typically eat brisket, but this one was good. Not too chewy for me, the flavors weren't too strong. I barely tasted the Kimchi from the corn. So my critique would be to make the flavors stronger. I did bite into the peppers and those were hot. It didn't seem hot at first but then the heat kept building.
I made a reservation at opening on a Saturday morning, but it was unnecessary since there were many diners that early. The server was so sweet and was okay with me waiting for my friend to arrive before I ordered. We both got a char siu rice bowl. The char siu was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The herbs have the bowl a nice balance between marinated meat and fresh, aromatic vegetables. The restaurant was clean and decorated so cutely. There was plenty of parking in the lot behind the building. I would recommend this establishment if you are looking for Asian food in a bright, welcoming environment.
The Peached Tortilla is a casual eatery with Asian Tex-Mex fusion food. I got the Taco Tray that comes with all 6 tacos on the Taco Tuesday menu. You can choose either flour or corn tortillas. The Asian inspired tacos like the Banh Mi and Chinese BBQ Pork tacos are really unique and my favorite ones. Both are made with braised pork belly and topped with sweet tangy slaw. Delicious, tender, and juicy! The others were amazing too - BBQ Brisket, Cauliflower, Kalua Pork, and Rotating Taco. It looks fun and pretty displayed all together with vibrant colors. I loved that they had the option to try all 6 tacos. I always have trouble deciding which flavors to get and I didn't have to limit myself here. It was great to share with another person. The Taco Tray is also cheaper than getting each taco individually. They had a bright and casual environment. It was pretty packed in the evening, but they let us wait at the bar while looking at the menu. They seated us at a table after a few minutes. We were able to order and get our food pretty quick after that. Our server was super friendly and socialized with us. They were attentive and checked on us often. There is some parking in the back, but it is hard to get to. We just found parking a few blocks over and walked back for ease. They also have outdoor seating on a covered patio in the front. Would definitely recommend coming on a Tuesday to try all of their taco options!

Be prepared to try some new foods. I loved the outside space. You can drive right by this place, it's a very small lot. We ate here bc our gf recc it for a night out. It's very insta worthy all around, the wallpaper is funky. I recc the Brusselsprouts they were my favorite! 4 sides, 4 main dishes, plenty of food! The drinks were so cute and tasty. read more
Solid food and drinks at a fair price point. I'm a huge fan of Bar Peached so I was very excited to finally try Peached Tortilla. I gotta say, I like the Bar Peached menu a bit better as it has more variety. I'm docking stars for a few reasons. Parking here is a NIGHTMARE. There's a small lot in back, but they block off the front of the restaurant where there could be several more spots. They do not answer the phone. I understand resos can be made via Open Table but I needed to make an adjustment and called 5x with no answer. The host completely ignored a pile up of guests that was out the door waiting to get sat. I understand the need to answer phones/take down take away orders, but it was absurd how slow and inattentive the host was with zero apology. Several servers walked by and saw the situation but didn't even offer to help her out or any guests. Watching the lack of hospitality rubbed me the wrong way before we were even seated. The restaurant itself is TINY so be prepared to feel right on top of other patrons. Our server was very kind but fairly inattentive. As previously stated, food is good as well as drinks but I just did not *love* this enough to give more stars. Pivot to their other concept Bar Peached for sure. read more
Amazing food, great service, cool place. It's more of a small plate place, but the prices are decent and the food is well worth it compared to other places I've been. Got the crispy wings, arancini, and charred brussels. All of them were excellent. The wings had a nice crisp with fish sauce saltiness, with enough meat on them that they were so paltry of poultry. The aracini (4 of them) came with two sauces, one was more of a honey mustard/ wasabi, and the other a spicy mayo; both really good and complementary. The brussel sprouts were nicely cooked and had a nice flavor to them in addition to the slight crispiness of the leaves. Lastly, the Malaysian Laksa bowl was a neat combination of flavors and styles, with curry, Vietnamese, and seafood mixed together, it's a great pairing of fresh and savory elements to top off the meal if you weren't already full from the smaller dishes. We went here for my daughter's birthday and we're also celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary. We had reserved a table inside, but decided we wanted to sit outside and they accommodated us very nicely . Our food was wonderful Mom's toast was unusual and great, the hamburger was amazing and the three tacos were really good, especially the brisket. After dinner they surprised us with ice cream that tasted like salted caramel and popcorn. The manager brought out champagne and wrote us each a really sweet note. The evening was so enjoyable. The wait staff was exemplary! We will definitely be coming back. read more

Wow The drinks: AH: mazing !! The food? Wow what delicious and unusual combinations!! The service: great and prompt! (Bar has full good service too!) The wait? Well this place is awesome so without a reservation we were quoted a 1:30 hour wait!! So we are at the bar, had the best time watching our very able bar-woman whip out all kinds of delicious drinks for all the customers! Mind you this is a Tuesday night out... the place is packed and the food and drinks are rocking!! Ok as far as the place itself it is a little not presumptuous dinning restaurant (with great food!) So tonight we had an old fashioned and a spicy margarita that was HOt! Then we chose the pork belly bowl and the pork belly was lush and delicious!! Get it! And my daughter had the southern Fun... yummy! I'm not always a fan of those wide noodles but this time they were perfect. Totally recommend. Are you still at home? Come and get all this food!! We were craving some delicious food and opted for curbside pick up from the Peached Tortilla. Pickup was a breeze and the host even offered us water while we waited in the car. We picked up our favorites since we had not been there in a while. These are our go to selections and I am pretty sure they are fairly popular menu items. I've been wanting to come here for years but between covid and general disdain for trying new things, I haven't. Today was different, my friends and I wanted to go somewhere for an early dinner and Sunday happy hour, and found the perfect place. We spent about $30 per person (a couple drinks, a couple appetizers we split, and an entree). The patio was beautiful and covered with shade. Our waitstaff, Hallie, was super kind, friendly, helpful, and made the experience even better. I would not recommend the patio if you have a baby or young kid, the road noise is average but a car alarm was going off for the last 15 minutes we were there and I felt bad for the little baby that we saw :( Can't wait to come back here!! I sense a new "family" tradition amongst our friend group. read more

This place is phenomenal. We came into town not knowing what we wanted to eat. I'm so glad we ran into this super cute and chic restaurant. Eli was our server and is great. He gave us all sorts of recommendations and they were AMAZING. This place was packed around 7:30pm which was a good sign! I knew it was going to be good. We have all sorts of food from the cocktails to the appetizer this place knows what they are doing. It's a mix of Asian flavors with a touch of southern charm. Such a cute brunch spot in town. They are known for their Asian fusion. And the steak and eggs with kimchi was oh so delicious. We made a reservation, which is advised as it definitely filled up. They had a lot of menus, as they serve up dinner, and have specialty taco/whiskey nights. I'd love to come back to try more! read more
This place has been on my list for a long time to try and the first time trying it was during a wedding. Let me just say, it was one of the best wedding catering I had. Ultimately, this brought us to go to the restaurant the very next day for brunch! With such a unique menu, you really can't go wrong. The brussels are to die for and the main reason we came back because we had so many servings during the wedding. The sesame scallion puffs are new to the menu but man they hold a special place in my heart. Buttery, flakey, with a chewy inside... and the miso butter?! LOVE! Portions are a bit on a smaller size, but that allows you to sample more dishes. I also have to give a shoutout to our server, Blake, who made our time even better. He was beyond knowledgeable about the menu and made us feel so welcomed. Clean and hip vibe to the restaurant. Parking is limited so come early or park across the street and be ready to walk. read more

This restaurant is incredible. It gets very busy, so get a reservation or go on a weekday. But the staff are SO nice and the food is seriously incredible. We had Gregory for our server and he was great, gave us a few extra minutes on the happy hour which goes a long way! We went for our anniversary dinner and the HANDWRITTEN card signed by the whole staff plus a sweet treat was just too kind. Love this place read more
Good food but pricy for small portions. Service is pretty slow but friendly. I got the avocado toast with scrambled eggs--it has a mix of Japanese flavors which adds some contrast. The hero of this place is the Nutella french toast which is decadent and rich. It's a very shareable dish among friends! My husband got the brisket hash which he enjoyed but felt that it was a pretty measly portion. Overall enjoyable and glad I tried but would not come back. read more

100% delicious! I was a bit skeptical at first due to the fact it was Asian/Southern fusion, but everything worked out SO well - we had no leftovers at the table! I ordered the lush pork belly bowl & the laksa noodles. The pork belly was huge and it just melted in your mouth! Combing the savory pork belly with the tangy kimchi and the white rice is every bite made a perfect balance of flavors that kept you wanting to eat more. The Laksa noodles were insane, it was so good I didn't even want to share it! The broth was flavorful and the noodles were perfectly cooked. Wish I lived in the area to come back more! This place caught our eye one time while driving, and we decided to check it out - it is definitely a place we will be returning to. We have found that Austin has amazing fusions - and The Peached Tortilla is one of them. We ordered the pork buns per recommendation of our server, and we were not disappointed! The flavor and texture was great and reflected flavors of traditional Chinese cuisine. Delicious! I am so glad we went on a Tuesday (they seem to have rotating specials!) and ordered the six tacos for $20. Each was unique and we were glad to be able to sample them all. I loved the brisket, Chinese pork, steak, and cauliflower one the best. An interesting note - the charge a "wellness fee" on top of your meal that assists in providing their servers with health care benefits. I love to support businesses who support and value their employees, especially in the restaurant industry. The Peached Tortilla left us feeling peachy, and we can't wait to return to try the Dan Dan Noodles! read more

Unfortunately, they didn't have their laksa available when we went, and I'll have to come back and give that a try. Service was great, and our server was very friendly and attentive. We are newer to the area but seem to find this restaurant on many 'must try' lists. When we found out they were re-opening for dine-in (due to COVID) we wanted to try them out. COVID related: they were taking a lot of precautions that made us feel comfortable. Everyone was wearing masks and gloves and hand sanitizer was available. They also had the tables nice and spread out and not seating people at all of them to keep a good distance. Food: Honestly everything we tried was amazing. Charred Brussels - a good balance of crunchy, savory, salty and sweet Pork Belly Buns - the pork belly was delicious, the sauce was flavorful, the cucumbers added a nice light and refreshing crunch and the bun was perfectly fluffy Banh Mi and BBQ Brisket Tacos - both were flavorful and well balanced. They were also a good size Southern Fun - a nice balance of savory and sweet. VERY flavorful with a slight spice Asian Movie Night - I won't lie, popcorn flavored ice cream didn't sound great to me but IT WAS. This is the perfect end to the meal, sweet, salty, and the slight crunch from the rice puffs. If you have room, try this! I would definitely recommend this place, food is great, the atmosphere is good, and the service was amazing (shout out to our server Allie!). read more
I came here for brunch with a girl friend of mine. We were so impressed with the food. It was prepared perfectly. The items we ordered were exceptionally unique with an Asian/Mexican flare. Our waiter was helpful to provide suggestions as we were indecisive. I would recommend getting a reservation as it gets busy. I dined at 1 pm and they were sold out of an item I wanted. To make up for the food we were not able to order, they gave us a coupon to come back which impressed us. Excited to come back soon! read more

We've been to Peached several times... but with our recent 2-3 visits we've been slightly disappointed. It's been evident that they are a bit understaffed, and that would mean slightly longer wait times. All 3 of our recent visits turned into 2-3 hour dinners. Even if we'd order before other customers that came after us we were the last to receive food. With our most recent visit we were waiting on just water and drinks for about 40ish mins. Hoping that they are able to address this soon.. we'd hate to miss out on good food because of things that are easily fixable. The place is definitely always packed!! Be sure to check out their Dan Dan noodles and tofu buns! They are delicious! read more

this place is soo goooood! Came here for dinner and ordered the kimchi arancini balls, bacon jam fries, tacos, and Dan Dan noodles. The kimchi balls are so tasty especially with the sriracha mayo it is paired with. The bacon jam fries come with a fried egg on top which makes it come together so nicely - obsessed with the bacon jam flavor. The tacos were delicious and so were the Dan Dan noodles! Just keep in mind that the Dan Dan noodles are pretty spicy so I would avoid ordering it if you are sensitive to spice. Overall 10/10 and I definitely plan to come back to try their brunch menu! read more

My son has been here a few times and wanted to take us here. Didn't know what to expect. Outside it looked like a house with a porch with outside dining. Parking is in the back but limited and pretty tight. Anyhow, we walked in and it felt homey. Really don't know how to explain. The servers and host just felt down home Texas homey. Casual but yet respectful. Our table was in the middle of the dining room and a little wobbly but that alright. So we started out with some appetizers. We had the #60 Fried Rice and I had Chinese pork sausage. It was really good. We also got the Charred Brussel Sprouts. I love Brussel sprouts and they were cooked perfectly little charred to give that crispy texture. Loved it. So originally, I ordered the Dan Dan noodles cause they said they ran out of the Hainan Chicken. Our waitress saw how disappointed I was and later came back and said they had Hainan Chicken. I'm so thankful. The Hainan Chicken is steamed chicken over a bed of rice with mint and cucumber. This made a traditional Chinese dish more modern with the mint and cucumber. Excellent dish. Chicken was nice and tender. Loved the dish. It was a huge portion. Enough to fill me up. My wife got the street taco trio. Two brisket tacos and one pork belly taco. She really liked it a lot. It was very filling for my wife but enjoyed it. So overall, very good food. Very fresh. Very tasty with that southern flare. Really liked the food. The waitress was good. Kept tabs on us and got my Hainan Chicken dish that I wanted. So she was very good. Like I said before the ambiance was homey and comfortable. We enjoyed the meal. Had a reservation for 5 a Sunday night and was quickly seated at a nice table outside after arriving. Waitress was super friendly and helpful! If you like mezcal, I highly recommend the Smoke Show ($12) to drink - perfectly smoky! The appetizers were my favorite part of this meal. The "Banchan" pickles were a refreshing, unique starter. Kimchi Arancini Balls were delicious, especially with the sriracha aioli. Wasabi aioli fell flat for me. Not the biggest shrimp fan so I wasn't expecting to love Mom's Toast but it was great!! All of these were perfect shareables for the table. For entree, I got the taco trio (Cauliflower, Brisket, and Banh Mi which is pork belly) The presentation looked delicious, and after reading the menu I was excited to see how the flavors would come together. Unfortunately I was a little disappointed with these. I wanted more of a punch from each one - all the flavors were pretty one note. Overall, it was a fun place to go with a group of friends and try some new things! However, I'm going with 4 stars because I didn't end the meal thinking about wanting to go back anytime soon. An Austin classic so staple the ATX experience, there's even a location in the airport! Brunch here is the best. I'd come back here for that in a heartbeat. Their regular menu is okay - 3*s. Service was great and the servers & host were all great. So, for their regular menu, it's a fusion of Southern & Asian cuisines, mostly Korean. Their pork belly buns have a thick slab of pork belly, but it isn't quite tender enough to melt in your mouth. It feels like biting into a wedge of fat. I've enjoyed the brussel sprouts, but it's not a standout dish. (I haven't had bad roasted brussel sprouts at any restaurant). Hainan chicken, dan dan noodles, and fried rice don't seem like fusion to me - besides the sweet tea pickled onions in the fried rice, the dishes are classic Chinese dishes I'd rather get for a little less $. The tacos, offered at lunch and dinner, were okay. I've come a couple times and just wasn't that excited.. the brisket taco seemed like a classic American BBQ taco, the banh mi taco was a lot like the pork belly buns (same pork belly, which is the meat of the dish), and the crunchy fish taco was like a fish taco. Tasty, but nothing amazing or particularly memorable. Their salads are tasty and fresh though. The freshness of the ingredients really shine here. But brunch? Call me basic, but it's another level of deliciousness and keeps the Peached Tortilla on the map for me! They kept their super star dishes, but added some tasty brunch twists - these sounded more exciting and it was hard to choose with the wealth of options. I loved the Brisket Eggs Benedict, with its crispy garlic chips and luscious gravy. Brisket Hash was also excellent.. I'd definitely want to come back to try the rest of this menu! read more
Came here for lunch on a Saturday, not too busy during prime lunch hour and they have a fairly spacious seating area. My group started out by sharing the charred Brussels. They had the perfect texture with a light crisp on the outside and almost a little juiciness on the inside. The bacon jam had a delicious rich flavor, but didn't dominate the Brussels. I didn't notice the Parmesan or lemon oil as much, but I'd highly recommend overall as a starter or side dish. A couple of items on the lunch menu really caught my eye, but I figured trying a few tacos was the way to go since that's what they're known for and the server recommended them. I tried the cauliflower, bbq brisket and chicken pad thai tacos I thought the cauliflower taco was the most unusual of the three before trying them, but was pleasantly surprised to find it was great! The cauliflower was much more of a background flavor, the peanuts and coconut really stood out. I thought the lime also brought a nice background tartness. The brisket taco was my favorite. The brisket was rich and tasty, but the peach bbq sauce and apple slaw are what really set it apart. It had the absolute perfect amount of fruit flavor, and as someone who usually passes on the slaw I was super impressed. I expected to like the pad Thai taco the most since you'd figure it would be in their wheelhouse, but it actually ended up being my least favorite of the 3. The pad Thai sauce and the peanuts brought a nice flavor, but the chicken wasn't anything too special. Wasn't a bad taco, but I found it very ordinary compared to the first two. Overall I had a great experience! Would definitely recommend giving it a try and I'm excited to try more from them in the future. read more

Convenient location and great food! The atmosphere of the restaurant is great, and there's additional parking behind the restaurant. I would make a reservation beforehand especially for peak dinner hours, since it did get pretty crowded. The waitress was great about giving us descriptions for menu items and giving us recommendations. We got the pork belly buns, chicken wings, asian pear miso salad, lush pork belly bowl, southern fun, and malaysian laksa bowl. My standouts were the pork belly buns and the southern fun! The pork belly buns were the perfect combination of soft, fluffy bun+flavorful and juicy pork belly- it melts in your mouth! The southern fun had a great flavor and the wide noodles were all coated generously with the tasty sauce. I also recommend trying out their cocktails! Their Kentucky mule was very refreshing. read more

Since I came on my birthday, they gave me a complimentary dessert and a handwritten letter with all the server's signatures. It was super sweet and a unique experience! The drinks and food were all amazing! From the social hour menu, I got the Chinese bbq pork taco, which I HIGHLY recommend. My friend ordered the Lush Pork Belly Bowl and we got the Southern Fun noodles for the table. The bowl was very filling with huge pieces of pork belly and the Southern Fun noodles were spicy and delicious. The Pork Belly Buns were a little expensive since you only get two. I visited the peached tortilla with my friends for social hour, which is only available if you sit on the patio. I thought that was a little weird considering they have a bar area inside too. It is the summer, so it was definitely expected to be hot, but they didn't have any of the fans on. Also, there were flies everywhere while we were eating. Obviously the restaurant cannot control how many flies there are, but it made the experience pretty unbearable. We were swatting the entire time and even when we asked our waitress to take some dishes away to clear the flies, she only took one. Overall, the food was great and I'd like to come again, but dining outside was not the move. read more
Asian fusion is always a little disappointing but I was happy with this place. Each dish has it's own character, depth of quality as well as flavor. Was sad they ran out of hainan chicken but I guess I gotta come back to try it! I made a reservation for 5 and they called me a few hours ahead of time to confirm and were nice enough to add an extra seat last minute. The southern fun is a lot spicier than anticipated, not for the faint of heart, maybe a pad thai level 4 spice. In total, we tried the kimchi aracino balls, all the tacos, hanger steak ssam, southern fun, and the pork belly bowl. Would most highly recommend the bahn mi taco. Pork belly was really good, nice fatty and juicy meat, but nothing too fusion special. Steak ssam was just a replacement order for the hainan chicken i wanted - the steak was nice and tender, very rare, clean, but also nothing super special. Our waiter forgot our last order for a friend who ordered separately from those who shared.. waited 50 minutes for a tofu in buns. read more
