Pechanga Casino on a weekday, in the middle of lunch time, and starving = Good Luck!! Around 12 PM at Pechanga Casino is the worst, especially when you're hungry. The food court, buffet, and all other restaurants are packed. Long lines everywhere. What makes it worse, I'm in the mood for sushi and their sushi restaurant is closed. Had to settle for their cafe which took 20+ minutes just to be seated even though there was a ton of empty seats. By the time I was seated, I was a little irritated. Because I was at a meeting here and had only an hour until my next presentation, the wait made the start of my dining experience at the Pechanga Cafe bad. Nothing really special on the menu. Just your basic Denny's food or what one of my co-workers stated "nasty cafeteria food". Nothing worth bragging about. Nothing even worth taking pictures of. I love breakfast food for lunch so I settled for the Country Fried Steak and Eggs. Presentation looked okay, but the meal was bland and I actually be surprised if the scrambled eggs was made with more that one egg. Super skimp in my opinion. I wasn't impressed, but at least I got fed. I still managed to finish my meal. But keep in mind that just because I finished my lunch, it doesn't mean it was any good. Just means my mom didn't raise a quitter. Overall, between the long wait and "just okay" food, I have to say that I experienced better. If you're in Pechanga during lunch, I suggest you skip the cafe and settle for those other eats. read more

Came to this cafe and it took the server 30 mins before they took our order for drinks only after another 15 mins server comes and takes our order finally!!! The biggest problem we ordered food to go along with the food we ordered to eat here and our to go order came first before the food we ordered to eat here in the cafe... Go figure!!! Nice that it's 24hours and the food is way better than Lenny's(err Denny's) in my opinion. A good place to grab some grub after a long session of gambling or hitting one of the events held by the casino. Had a cobb salad and the wife was in the mood for a chicken fried steak breakfast. My homeboy hit up the fried chicken which looked pretty damn good too. Portions were pretty hefty and we were all satisfied with our meals. The price was affordable. Hey a 24 hour restaurant right next to the elevators. So I stayed here at the hotel for a couple of nights. So when I have a case of hungries, I usually go here for a late night snack. This would consist of Fish N' Chips or Chili or a burger. The menu is quite big and everything taste great. Now in the morning, they have an even better menu. They ran out of stuffed French Toast, so knock off a star for that. But I had the Swedish crepes and they weren't too bad. Now for the prices, look to find things running from $8 and up. Steaks and stuff are a little more. But if you don't want to spend time in line at the Food Court, or if you want some food to go up to the hotel room or if you want a place to sit at the casino, the Pechanga Cafe works well within your budget. read more

It is really hard to come buy a knockout good cafe in the Indian casino's out here in Southern Ca. The food is always Overpriced and the taste is SO-SO. Recently I took the project crew from Pechanga casino out to lunch for all of their help. I asked them if they would like the buffet and they suggested the cafe. We had a 10 people including myself sit at a table. The service was good and the food was SO-SO. Allot of the guys had the Prime rib with a potato and stuff like that. I had a veggie sandwich that I was surprised they didn't mess up. It tasted all right. Neeslessdervice for to-go orders sucks here. It took three hostesses 15 minutes to take my order as each hostess would say the other person would be right with me. After being asked four times "do i know what i want to order" i wanted to say "I've been standing here looking at the menu on the wall for 15 minutes already". Finally when the hostess was ready for me she asked me what i would like then mid sentence decided to help another customer that just wanted to pay first. Well...still standing here waiting for my breakfast burrito seven minutes prior to the tournament upstairs. Needless to say I will not come here again since their only focus is the patrons that "dine-in only". Hopefully Pechanga will put some additional focus on overall "customer experience" for everyone and not primarily focus on the inclusive "dine -in only" clientele. I reference Pechanga as my "second home" for the countless number of hours I've spent gambling here over the last two decades so it would be nice for some additional consideration for those "to- go" patrons. read more

Seriously, I am incredibly disappointed in the service! The food was 45 minutes late, someone in my party did not get her meal, we did not ever get a refill. I had to walk to the back to grab by own drink, the waitress never apologized after we expressed our concerns of the service. After the comedy show that night at Pechanga, Jo Koy rocked, my wife and I needed a late snack. Lucky for us, right next to the elevators is the Pechanga Cafe. It's open 24 hours so we made our way towards the food. Warm and friendly staff who made us feel at home. I ordered an apple pie with hot chocolate milk. I would give the Cafe zero stars if I could. I emailed Pechanga and mailed a letter regarding our dining experience - no reply from the management. I was disappointed about their lack of response. So I will share on Yelp - hope that helps. Here is my letter. March 31, 2019 Dear Pechanga Management On March 30th we spent all day at Pechanga - your Bingo staff are amazing. We also had great experience gambling on machines. We ended our day at the cafe and the experience was horrible. I hope by sharing our experience you can make procedure changes so other guests have a better experience. We went to the cafe for dinner - around 6:30pm - the place did not appear busy - we were a party of 5. Gatsby was our server who took our order. Out of 5 orders - 3 came out completely wrong. Order 1 - build your own burger - mushrooms and Swiss cheese and no onions * This order was missing both the mushrooms and Swiss cheese and had the onions * The staff fixed by removing the onions - adding a slice of cold cheese and 5 pieces of canned mushrooms * The quality of the burger was not good - the cheese was not melted and using canned mushroom is not quality. It is so easy to use and sauté fresh mushrooms. The patty was very dry too. * The French fries were soggy and cold by the time the staff fixed these errors. Order 2 - build your burger - mushrooms and fruit instead of fries *This order was missing the mushrooms and came out with fries instead of fruit *The staff fixed by adding the 5 pieces of canned mushrooms and brought out fries the second time. *We had to ask for the fruit again - took 3 times to get fruit. *Again the quality of the burger was not good - canned mushrooms and dry patty. Order 3 - Dinner Sopes ordered without cream or cheese * Order came with cream and cheese * We returned the order and after 10 minutes they brought the sopes but what they brought did not match what was on the menu. * The menu stated beans, salsa, guacamole etc - all vegetarian and did not state meat. The second order came with beef and no beans. * I was told the item came with chicken or beef - but it is not on the menu nor did the server ask if i wanted chicken or beef. * In addition - they only brought the sopes and not the rice *For the Sopes order - getting the wrong order 3 times was enough - I returned the dish to the kitchen and did not eat - too frustrated after all that. We were all frustrated from this experience. We spoke with the manager and he said he would take care of it but nothing was really taken care of nor did he return to us to ensure that our dining experience was good. Our server informed us that the manager was going to comp our iced tea for group - however the people who had errors with their meals did not order drinks - so how did that help us? The best thing about this place is that it is open 24 hours and located right outside the resort guest elevators. Service was good but food was very mediocre. The presentation alone made it unappetizing, enormous and drab. The pancakes were kinda hard to cut, maybe too doughy I don't know but the buttermilk taste was pretty good. Eggs were overcooked , potatoes and ham were blah, as well as the very tart orange juice. The best thing here was the sausage patties they were charbroiled just right very flavorful. I think they should focus on quality over quantity because food is lacking for such a nice resort, and they give you way too much food. read more

It was just OK, there was some questionable items they served that was close to being inedible. For example the rice pilaf and dinner roll, rice pilaf was bitey and stuck together, it was gross. The dinner roll might as well be a baseball, hard as a freakin rock. My NY strip was burnt on the outside but yet medium rare on the inside, you gotta lower that fire buddy, not the best way to grill a steak. Service was really good, she did try very hard. Got excellent service and great tasting food. BLTA was great and large with smoky bacon and lots of avacado, onion rings were fabulous! Beer battered Fish torta was perfectly fried and crispy, fantastic, sourdough bread was not good and fries were ok, great prices for both, it was busy and cook took a while but server apologized for the wait and gave me a refill, gave her a 40% tip as she was super nice. Only place to go after 9pm as everywhere wraps up early foodwise. Unfortunately hubby threw up in the middle of the night, not sure exactly why, I got up and burped oily fish so that was probably it, too much deep fried foods. read more

I came here recently at 2am thinking I was going to get horrible service and food but I was hungry and I decided to take a risk. Boy was I wrong. First I had this beautiful blond server named Breanna. She came up right away to introduce herself and take my drink order. She had a few suggestions but the blta won out. Nice thick cut prices of bacon and avacado makes this Sammy tasty when the munchies hit. Breanna was so attentive. She was on top of everything. My drink never went under half full and She never brought the bill until I asked her for it instead of dropping of the bill w/ my food making me feel like it's time to get the fuck out...btw The fries were fresh, crispy, and just perfectly seasoned. Opened late, quick, friendly staff, and relatively good food considering that both times I was starving prior to coming here. Late night: Hot Turkey Sandwich. It was like Thanksgiving all over. Turkey w/gravy on top of regular slices of sandwich bread, mashed potatoes, steamed carrots/squash, and a side of cranberry sauce. I sampled some of the waffles that my friend ordered with strawberries and they were good. B-Fast: I was disappointed that the "Make Your Own Omlete" only listed the choices of meat: bacon, ham, etc and no veggies that I liked: onions, olives, tomatoes. They limit you to 3 choices too, but the lady was nice enough to give me however much I wanted and substituted ingredients for me. I had a spinach, mushroom, ham, and olive omlette. Nothing special or spectacular, but it was a very generous portion along with hash/toast. My side order of a bowl of fruit came with strawberries, honey dew, grapes, and cantelope. Pretty typical. P.S. They had a buffet option within the cafe too, but there wasn't much variety in breakfast food to choose from. The Cafe ia closest to the hotel room elevators and it's 24hours! If you notice the customes majority are over 55! I always take my mom for breakfast so she can take a break from her binge gaming or else she wont eat! They offer a breakfast buffet which I have never tried. Its too much food. I normally get their all american breakfast typical two eggs bacon country potatoes (which are extremely bland) toast juice and tea! (I dont drink coffee but my mom says the coffee is good! My mom got the steak and eggs and the steak was cook medium well as we ordered but it was underseasoned. We went here for dinner once and her baked potatoe was undercooked! So much I couldnt cut into it for her. We had to send it back and had it replaced with mashed potatoes and she was pleased. I ordered the turkey club with french fries which was cool. read more

Went here for lunch with my husband and daughter. When we entered we were told that their systems were down so we wouldn't be able to use our players card for a while. We didn't have players cards so that was fine with us. We sat down and ordered a couple of beers. The server said (with a huge sigh like this was the 8th time she was telling us) that the systems are down so they are not allowed to serve alcohol. I asked if she knew when the systems would be up. She said no, and then asked if we were ready to order drinks. I made sure they were allowed to serve everything else and we ordered drinks. What kind of casino's systems go down to the point they don't serve alcohol? The menus were odd and in no particular order. The dinner page was next to the all day breakfast page, next to the lunch page, which was next to the breakfast (only until 11am page). We waited a long time, which was funny because it didn't look that busy. I also saw bussers and servers just hanging around so they were either lazy or the kitchen was backed up. When a server (not ours) brought our food he held a plate of hot food our my daughters head while he tried to read a paper in his hand that told him who the order went to. I tried to get his attention, but when that didn't work my husband just took the plate of food so it didn't spill on our 2 year old. The food was just ok. I had a BLT and my husband had a bacon & egg breakfast. Like some people said before. It's better then you'd get at Dennys, but there are much better restaurants around here....I would even say you'd have better luck at the food court. However if you're at the casino at midnight...there aren't too many other options for a hot meal. read more

The omelette was ok, but the potatoes were delicious. Our server Matthew, was really nice, and often asked us if we needed anything else and refilled our waters. We went here while waiting for Bingo to begin. It did not take long for us to get a table, but after that, the time spent there was way too long. From ordering, to getting our food, it was probably about 30 minutes. After that, it got worse! It took the waitress about 20 minutes to get our check, after our plates were cleared. Once she took our card, we saw her go to the register, and then back and forth to the kitchen bringing out other items and taking orders! It was rude, and showed horrible customer service and even worse time management. On a bright side, the food was good. I ordered the surf and turf salad which was great. The dressing was delicious. I was on the way home from San Diego airport having had to drop off my mom very very early and I hadn't eaten yet and was starving. This is not far from the freeway off-ramp, so I figured I would give it a try. The service (including hosts and wait staff) was excellent and I found a perfect small table against a wall away from other people (which I always prefer). I told the waitress I was starving and said, "Before your bring my main course, can I get something fast, like an appetizer." She said, "Depends on which one" and I said "French fries," and she said, "No problem." She also took the rest of my order (breakfast burrito and raspberry iced tea). The fries came quickly and as a connoisseur of fries, I would rate these an 8 out of 10 in my book. Crispy (not soggy like most places) and they were served in like a tubular brown paper stuffed inside a fancy-looking cup holder (hard to explain), but it was a nice presentation. Unfortunately, the so-called "blue cheese dressing" I ordered with the fries was very runny. Had I not been so damn hungry, I would have asked for mayo and made the dressing thicker. The waitress says "It's always runny like that." I scarfed down the fries rather quickly and it wasn't too much later that the breakfast burrito arrived. The so-called refried beans (I think that is what they were supposed to be) were watery and runny. Had it not been for me mixing it with the included rice, it would have been inedible. It was tasty, though. The burrito itself (sans bacon, since I am vegetarian) was excellent; however the guacamole served with it was like the crap they put in the burritos at fast-food restaurants, so that was disappointing. They would have gotten five stars from me if 1) They served real blue cheese dressing (which is supposed to be thick, not watery); 2) Served a higher quality guacamole; 3) Not serve watery beans! read more

We went on a busy Friday night, before seeing Ron White, all the fine restaurants were booked and there was not a table to be had! So, we thought we'd go to the Pechanga Cafe for a quick bite. We thought we'd get a burger or salad... How bad can you mess that up, but when we saw the extensive menu we became adventuresome! Well, we were blown away by the great service and fantastic food! The grilled pork chops were beyond tasty and they were amazingly tender and juicy! The mashed potatoes were just like home made and the veggies were fresh and not over cooked. The bread basket contained three different kinds of rolls/crackers and came with a generous serving of whipped butter! Service was friendly and attentive. The Pechanga Cafe is a good choice when you are staying at or playing at Pechanga. They offer breakfast burritos, build your omelette's, waffles, pancakes, and French toast. For lunch they have good sandwiches, pastrami, tuna, and various burgers. The Cole slaw and fries are both good choices. For dinner I have had the Fajitas with chicken and shrimp twice and it was very good. The fried shrimp or fried chicken are good choices if you feel like going all out! read more
