I'm sure my review is different than most peoples. I love their breakfast. We come here every Sunday at 10 AM with our family and is a great place to bring your kids and order breakfast and have the entire or outdoors to yourself. Beyond that their breakfast food is amazing. I don't know that I've had a better breakfast burrito in Phoenix and my kids love the chicken tenders. I highly recommend her Risa sauce for the burrito it's very tasty and spicy. The service is always very good from our experience on Sunday mornings. read more

One and done. My husband ordered the side salad, waitress did not mention any dressing offered. We asked for Thousand Island, was told no, but something similar. Then we were charged extra. I ordered the grill cheese and side salad, asked for blue cheese dressing on the side. I got ranch. Could not get the simple order right. Our sister in-law asked about the wine, what vineyard. Couldn't get a straight answer. And 2nd pour was a different wine from what was ordered. Upon leaving, I spoke to an other couple leaving at the same time, same response. This was our third and likely final visit here. While the food is good (I always get the hot chicken sandwich), we have had very rude service on our last two visits. I always try to give the benefit of the doubt, particularly when the restaurant is busy, but our service today was more than lackluster and frankly disappointing. One member of our party received their food 10 minutes after everyone else to no apology from our server, who had clearly forgotten about it and was otherwise occupied rolling silverware. When we alerted her about this, she rolled her eyes and said "I know", and ran off to collect the now cold chicken tenders from the back. I would recommend the managers work on building a staff that views their patrons as guests rather than a chore. Hope they can sort this out moving forward. read more

Came to The Porch with some friends on Friday night. I was shocked at how crowded it was for such a new place. Our waiter Kyle was awesome! With such a large crowd I had pretty low expectations but my order was taken and the food came out quick. The nachos were amazing. Huge portion and happy hour pricing was a nice surprise! Meet some friends for happy hour. The patio was full so we got a table inside. Had a great server, the drinks were yummy a little strong, but that was nice, because it gave you a chance to enjoy the food. We ordered chicken wings, jalapeno poppers , nachos and tacos, also the pretzel. ( so good!!!!) The wings were crispy with a nice spicy honey flavor. The nachos were good. The tacos, yummy. The poppers had a nice kick. once again the pretzel was fantastic the cheese sauce very good. It is a cute place great service and good food. We came here because they were not super busy. My table ordered appetizers and drinks. We were told the champagne was $20 a bottle instead of $15 which the website menu indicates and we were told it's just wrong, in which I mentioned that it was false advertising but whatever. We got our drinks and appetizers and the waitress barely ever checked in on us. We finally ordered food and 35 minutes later three of the four plates were delivered but then one plate had "run out", which was never said previously or we could have ordered something else timely. Then when potatoes were brought instead of hashbrowns, again, we were they had "run out". We told the waitress we would order something else and then she took another 10 minutes to approach our table, which we had to flag her down for. We asked that the new item we ordered be rushed as the rest of the plates had already been eaten. It came out faster but not really rushed. The waitress was not attentive to our table and didn't really seem to care about customer service. We also received the check and, what do you know, the champagne was in fact $15. I came in to the porch tonight for the first time with my girlfriend and not only was the food outstanding, but Bruce our server accommodated us to sit next to the fireplace and have it turned on when it was currently off. Awesome indoor/outdoor location with a fireplace in between. Has porch swings at some outdoor tables and cornhole/yard games available outdoors. Got a fantastic cheeseburger with sweet potato "fries" and my husband had the same with truffle fries. Both were great, but my complaints are the PRICES and mediocre SERVICE. I always feel if you don't order several drinks at these bar places they pay less attention to you. My waiter forgot my side salad order and didn't acknowledge or mention it, but the bus boy got me one. :) It's also a little expensive if you don't want typical bar food. A protein bowl is $15, salads without meat/protein for $11/$12, $16 by the time you add chicken. Cute place and would definitely return! read more

One of my favorite spots now in Arcadia! I brought some friends in for the night football game on Sunday. It was pretty crowded as expected but we were able to get 2 tables put together near the fireplace and patio doors to accommodate us. The area still has great views of the TVs. Our Server Linsy was spot on! She took our orders promptly and we received our drinks in perfect timing for the kickoff. She checked back often even though she was busy going to all the other tables in her section. There are some people that just take pride in their job and you can tell why she's so good at what she does! We were pretty easy going and low maintenance as it is, but we never had to wait for an empty drink or water before it was reordered or refilled. The food is pretty good here as well with nice size portions, which can be perfect for sharing and trying multiple items for the table. Truly one of the worst dining experiences of my whole life. To start the waitress forgot about us and after 15 minutes I had to ask the hostess to find our waitress. Then I ordered a burger without onions and pickles. It came with both and my fries were very under cooked. McDonald's would have been better than this meal. Then I give my ticket to the valet and they bring me the wrong car. No joke I had to walk around the parking lot and find my car myself. Do not go here it's not worth it. I honestly wanted to go home and throw up this meal because it truly wasn't even worth the calories. read more

I've been there at 3pm on Friday when there was 5 other people in the place--still took 10 min for them to notice a party of 3. Another 15 for 1 drink to arrive. Love this place! I cant remember our servers name but she was so nice. She needed to move us at one point during the night since she had a huge party coming in. Being a sever myself I understood. I had really high hopes for this place as we go to the Bevvy a lot and get exceptional service there, sadly they didn't deliver AT ALL. First we waited 30 mins for a table which on a Friday night is expected and this place was packed! So I was hoping it was gonna be worth the wait. When we finally got seated the hostesses didn't give us enough menus we had to get up and ask for more, our table was still dirty, and we weren't greeted for over 10 mins. When the server finally came over there was no "sorry about the wait" or anything. We gave him our order for appetizer and asked for a round of waters, the water didn't come til after the appetizer was on the table! We ordered our food at 9:39, at 10:20 we finally asked how much longer it was gonna be. At this point the restaurant was pretty empty. Our food came out finally and it was cold and just lacking in general. Burgers were dry and over cooked, chicken panini was soggy, seemed as if the food was just sitting in the window. We kept having to ask the server over and over again for refills and he came over and dropped a pitcher on our table, like I'm sorry do you not have time to get refills we have to do it ourselves? We ended up asking for a manager TWICE. All around it was a bad experience. I probably won't ever be back. read more

However, the service I received was a disappointment. I went with three of my girlfriends Monday evening and got seated right away by the hostess. We sat outside at a porch swing table. We sat patiently, although the place was not busy for a Monday evening. We waited over 25 minutes and no one came over to take drink or food orders. Once another table was sat down, near us, and were taken water, we decided to leave. Upon exiting, my friend mentioned to the hostess that no one had helped us. She had the audacity to ask if we had sat ourselves down, when she had walked us to our table and handed us menus. Unacceptable behavior by an establishment claiming to be "a neighborhood joint"! Can't comment on their drinks or food, but this place deserves 0 stars for their customer service. Do yourself a favor and just go somewhere else. read more

Third time at the porch. I really want to love it. First time went with family and the whole visit was ok. The music was so loud we couldn't have a conversation. We asked if it could be turned down but that fell on deaf ears , we called the restaurant to ask if it could be tuned down and the hostess had to go outside to hear on the phone. There were 7 of us , our server didn't notice one of our party didn't get her food until the rest of us were almost done. We were trying to get his attention, we could see his back talking to the people in the kitchen. We asked the server if they could close the blinds as it was getting bright, same thing, he was back talking in the kitchen. Gave it another chance, The server was very nice, the music was not blasting. We ordered Nachos with no avocado, husband and daughter have severe allergies, bet you can guess what green stuff came on the Nachos !!! The music was perfect , actually had a great conversation with our teenager. Today we went in again , we sat down tried to speak across the table ...we left and went to a restaurant down the road to eat. We all go out for different reasons, I want to relax , enjoy the company I am with and eat some good food and have a few drinks. I've been looking forward to trying this place out and I am so happy that I did! The cocktails are unlike any other place around and the food (esp the Reuben and chopped salad. Make sure to add steak!) is great! Tons of tvs and outdoor games to have fun for a Sunday funday or date night! Our server made sure we always had full drinks and we're happy with what we ordered. The Porch has brought a completely new and exciting feel to the Arcadia environment. As a person that has grown up in this area , there has not been an establishment quite like this. Every new restaurant and bar will always have their opening hardships but from my multiple experiences at Porch I feel that it will be a staple in Arcadia . Their vast food menu allows for all different taste buds. The vibe of The Porch is electric and creates a positive and uplifting environment for all. I was there last Saturday night and I feel that the service has drastically improved since opening day and will continue to perfection ! My boyfriend and I went here for the first time the other night and everything was awesome! I ordered the strawberry lemon cocktail from their menu and the bartender, Alexa, made it perfectly, in my opinion. It was really flavorful but wasn't too sweet or too tart. They have vegan & gluten free options which is really cool since we have been on a restricted diet. Our server, Ivy, was really nice and attentive. She brought us a new set of silverware/napkins after the app- which sounds basic but if you've ever eaten messy finger foods you know how nice it is to have extra napkins. We ordered the cauliflower Buffalo app which i HIGHLY recommend & we both had the beyond beef burger which we also enjoyed. Mike, the manager stopped by our table to check on us and see how we were enjoying our experience. He was really personable as well! 10/10 recommend The Porch. Great service, food & drinks. This place is a much needed spot for the Arcadia crowd. The location is perfect, the staff was friendly and accommodating. Food and drinks were in line with the theme, I ate the French dip burger and was very pleased. It just opened a few days ago so it will take some time for things to be stream lined but happy to have a relaxed bar with a great atmosphere. A must see spot. read more
