Walked in yesterday morning around 10:15am and was nicely greeted by Sam. He was an older gentleman with keen eyes and wanted to know how he could have been service to me. First, when he saw me taking photos, he got a bit serious. I told him the reason and then he smiled. Needed to find out the cost of few boxes, fax two important documents, and if they ship things out of country? He said "yes". I needed to ship a small, long box that I already had with me to another country. They do faxing, printing, scanning, copy making services, notarial copy certification. Have so many mailboxes, mailing, shipping and delivering. They also sell different sizes of boxes, gift bags, stationary stuff, & greeting cards. Even have snacks and drinks. I asked Sam, "how much will it cost to rent a mailbox"? The answer blew my mind away. $269.00 a year. You have 24 hours of access to your mailboxes. Est. back in 1998, and is family owned. Place was super clean, street parking, and no public restroom. They work in conjunction with UPS, FED-EX, & USPS. Accept cash and credit cards only.

Prices are reasonable so it's definitely a value and I've been able to get packages in different sizes. If you ever need to pick up your package after hours, simply call them and they'll leave your packages in a larger box. I also know my packages are safe. They did not. I was told that the refund process would take about 5 weeks, and today I am on 2 MONTHS. Beware of packages that are delivered with a tracking number will vanish. I had a $200 package…read moredelivered to this business with a tracking number and proof of delivery to the front desk on July 26th, 2026. I came in on August 3rd to retrieve my package. The gentleman at the front desk could not locate the package and told me that he would call me when he found it. I did not recieve a call from him, so I called him on August 4th and asked if he had located my package. He said he did not and that he would call me in 10 minutes. It is now August 6th and he has not called me which shows that he has not looked for the package, or he has not found it. Either way, he has not called me with an update. Also be aware that the business hours posted on the door say 9:30am - 5pm. The store was closed an entire day with a sign that says will be back at 9:30am. I paid for a service that this business claims to provide, yet has proven not to provide. When I walked in and saw that other customer packages are sprawled all over the little store in arms reach of any patron who walks in, it tells me that they do not secure packages that do not fit in the mailbox, and anyone can walk in and take your package. I am currently auditing other mailbox services in the area who are more secure and actually provide customer service. This business is not secure and the service is limited.

So this spot--Mail Room & More inside La Reina Plaza in Sherman Oaks--has been around forever…read more(about 30 years!). The building used to be an old neighborhood cinema, but now it's home to this mailbox center that's finally having its glow-up moment. And let me tell you: the new team is a massive upgrade. The two guys running it now? Friendly, accommodating, and actually happy to help. A total 180 from the previous workers, who... well, let's just say customer service was not their strong suit. I honestly avoided this place before, but now it feels completely different--in a good way. I drop off all my FedEx and UPS packages here, and I pick up my boxes from Amazon, UPS, and FedEx at this location too. Super convenient, no stress. I also got my passport photos taken here, and they did an excellent job with those as well. They offer PO boxes, mailboxes, notary services, passport photos, fingerprinting, and just an overall smooth experience. If you need mailing or document services in Sherman Oaks, this is officially a yes from me.

I have been here on 2 separate occasions and have found it to have great customer service. I don't think it is a full post office service location as this was the closest location to my house yet my package pick up location would be the post office on white oak. Most recently I came here to ship a package and I was in and out in less than 5 min, and that was with 3 people in front of me as soon I stepped in line. There were 3 cashiers working and they moved efficiently. I needed to send my package through media mail with a tracking number and it cost me a little over $5. I know other people would go to a 3rd party to avoid the post office, but I don't mind and would gladly come to this location again. The parking can be a bit difficult at time with dunkin donuts in the same lot, but I parking in a 15 min space and had no issues.
