Did not try the coffee. But the lemonade seemed very tasty. No refills but hey which coffee shop will hand out refills. They have 23 different sitting places - the lobby where you order, the 2nd floor where you can even sit outside in the small balcony or the 1.5 outdoor patio. Service is very fast. Such an adorable spot!!! It seems tiny when you first walk in but there is an upstairs with more seating and it's quieter, as well as a very large outdoor patio on the side! Honestly giving 5 stars mainly for the ambiance! I love peach but not so much Americanos, but wanted to give the drink a shot anyway. I could definitely taste peach but the Americano part still wasn't for me. But the loaded banana bread was the star - house banana bread filled with cream and fresh bananas, so good!! This is a really sweet little spot in downtown Auburn with nice outdoor space and a pretty amazing menu for the space. The counter staff was super welcoming, but the person who delivered the food to my table was almost alarmingly grim. I have to assume something was going on that had nothing to do with my order--which took awhile, but was so delicious! I have a thing for deviled eggs and their jalapeño bacon deviled eggs were excellent! I also had Wild River Toast, which has too many ingredients to list and just as many flavors--so good! I came here right before the lunch rush on a Sunday morning and they were busy! The parking around the area can get full so be warned that you may not find a spot close by. They were definitely understaffed and kept apologizing for the inconvenience. The staff tho had a great attitude and glad that they kept encouraging each other. They were super friendly and nice. Do not let the long line deter you, they worked very quickly and you will get your order! The space for this cafe is beautiful. Very hipster and the music has a great beat and bass. The ambience is loud and busy, but fun. A lot of seating by the entrance on barstools, inside, second floor, balcony and outdoor patio. The drinks here are very pretty and aesthetically pleasing. If you're looking for a fancy coffee with latte art, look no further! The taste of the drinks tho are hit-or-miss. The spiced apple cider I got for my mom was delicious and I would recommend. It had the just the right amount of sweetness and was the perfect fall drink. The golden turmeric elixir was very bland and I would skip for next time. It was disappointing for a $6 8 oz. drink. I thought the pastries would get heated up, but they get served to you cold. Just a warning.. I feel like that affected the enjoyment of the pastries. But the food that went by me looked delicious. If you can, eat there rather than taking something to go. I LOVE their coffee beans especially their decaf. It's a great satisfying coffee for us caffeine challenged. I've been ordering their coffee beans online and having them shipped to me. Recently I gotten behind on ordering and decided to buy some from their booth at a farmers market. That went fantastic. At the farmers market I was told about The Pour Choice. We decided to go to Auburn for a rummage sale AND coffee from The Pour Over. I was put off by the line situation. There's really no where to stand where you're not in the way. Tables behind you. Stairs to outdoor dining in front and to the right. People needing to get to the left past you to the back of cafe. People needing water past the line from outside. I almost felt like I was square dancing. About every 30 seconds to a minute someone needed to go around me, through me, in front of me, do si do. By the time I was at the register I order 2 drinks I knew took no waiting just to get the heck out of there. Black coffee and a nitro cold brew. Both came right away at the register. Hallelujah! Both were good and we enjoyed them on their fabulous patio. They allow dogs on the patio a plus for us. They also have a balcony with a fantastic view. I finally got to check this place off my list. My boys and I went hiking at Hidden Falls we decided to reward ourselves after a long hike. Walking in this place looks very clean and organized. The set up is ..They have some tables when you first walk in near the counter, where you order. They have a large outside area with nice paintings on the walls. They also have a second floor where you could go sit outside they have a very cute balcony up there where you could people watch. I believe it's like four little tables up there super cute . After you order they give you a number and they will deliver your food . For the drinks they call your name so you can pick it up . The food is amazing! Definitely worth the price . It was 3 of us and it was $60 bucks but the food was amazing! We ordered an avocado toast I added bacon, goat cheese and eggs . My sons ordered a grilled cheese and a B.LT . For drinks I got a latte and they got hot chocolates . They loved it all and I did too . They also offer beers and wine . They have a nice complementary water station. Overall, I'm so glad I finally made it here. The food was definitely really delicious. This building is beautiful itself. I love the outside seating and the vibe it has inside. What a cute gem off of the i-80 highway! If you're looking for a pit stop, Auburn is an adorable town to stop by. This coffee shop is especially the perfect to try! I tried the North Fork Chai, which is milk heavy with a splash of spice. Overall, satisfying in flavor... but pretty gritty in texture. Not bad, but I think I'd try a latte next time! I roast and like using single origin Guatemalans for cappuccini, so I missed the coffee having a more pronounced character underneath the milk. The barista was competent if a little inattentive as she brewed the coffee: something else was on her mind: nice to find, though uncommon, baristi who are genuinely engaged with their craft. The ambience is enjoyable. Plenty of seating with various outdoor areas to please your fancy, some with charming views of this historic town. The convivial staff add to the charm of the place. The coffee shop was fairly convenient off of I-80, the outside of the shop was decently decorated, inside the same, the employees were averagely friendly, they served me quickly, delivered my muffin to me upstairs within minutes, my coffee was good, banana bread delicious, the dining room upstairs and downstairs were decorated quite plainly, and the seats were uncomfortable after an hour of sitting. Love that they serve both coffee and beer here We came here on a Sunday morning, and the wait was 15 min to order than 15 min for food/drink. What we got: old fashioned latte, breakfast biscuit sandwich - Old fashioned latte sounded good with old fashioned syrup, cherry, and bourbon - but tasted like a regular sweetened latte. Not so complex - biscuit breakfast sandwich didnt have any cheese or sauce as advertised so it tasted very dry.... Maybe they forgot it? We like to hit up the farmers market on Saturday in Auburn then walk down to the Pour Choice. If you're a coffee/espresso aficionado, order the cortado! It's one of the best I've had. They use fresh beans from local roasters which I love supporting. Their menu is small but they always have something yummy for breakfast or brunch. Grab a seat outdoors if the weather is nice and enjoy the sights and sounds of Old Town Auburn. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. We waited several awkward minutes while a pack of teenagers had a full-on coffee shop TED Talk with the girl at the counter--just chatting it up, not ordering, not moving. We finally asked if they were in line, and they just kept talking like we were invisible. When we brought it up to the manager, they shrugged and said, "Oh, it's OK--they're the owner's kids." Cool.
