Living on the West Coast without family nearby, Niguel Bakery & Donuts gives me that same feeling of home. This is a place where kids can still feel safe like the old days -- riding bikes with friends, scraping together change for a snack... and if they're a little short and have been on their best behavior, Dave and Dani might just take care of them anyway. That kind of generosity can't be taught -- it's who they are. While the prices are slightly higher than in other places, this shop offers special orders and various cakes. We came here after a fest at Jimmy's famous American tavern restaurant. So we decided to just buy one raspberry cupcake. I had it for breakfast in the morning. It was super delicious. It was a very satisfying chocolate cupcake with a raspberry cream on top covered in fine chocolate. I regretted that we discovered it the night just before we departed. Also, our hotel was just crossing the street from this shop. We stayed at the hotel for four days and three nights. All in all, the pastries and the service quality were truly exceptional. The owner is very friendly and helpful.
