The Ramp Restaurant overlooking a "Live" dock and ship yard
    Mike R.

The Ramp Restaurant is a "go to" neighborhood gem. Causal, rustic setting, umbrellas, views on the San Francisco Bay waterfront, sailboats, ship yard and paddle boarders. The service is prompt, efficient and friendly. We arrived today on a glorious Sunday afternoon on a "Spring Forward" March 2026. Our hostess was very accommodating and seated me under the huge tent since it was going to require a 20 minutes wait to sit outside. They use to have on site parking when we 1st started eating at The Ramp 25 years ago. Now there is street parking only. Our hostess was very kind and offered to more our sitting outside on the deck. I quickly accepted her offer and was seated overlooking the boat dock and order our drinks before my wife had joined me from parking. I order a Blood Mary and my wife a Dragon Fruit My wife ordered the Fried Chicken Sando which looked delicious. I ordered very amble huge shrimp cocktail and oysters of the half shell along with Old Bay fries. Our setting, service, cocktails and entrees were very relaxing and prefect for a warm 75 degrees at The Ramp Restaurant.

I've been coming here for more than 25 years. I can't beat the location for a dive bar and restaurant. The food has never been high end but it used to be plentiful and great friendly staff. There were a few years where it tried to go up-market, and had a bunch of fancy appetizers and cocktails. Then it settled back into its regular good pub grub. Now, however, the menu is similar but nothing is quite as good. The veggie burger is wet, the lump crab in the crab roll or Louis is I'm-not-sure-what-but-not-good. The poke bowl lacks poke, and the crab chowder lacks crab. At least the fries are still good, I guess? They also served my daughter chicken-tenders with literally nothing and the charged extra when she asked for ranch dressing. Bummer, I used to love it here.

Food was great and the Bloody Mary was insane. I tasted like a cocktail sauce with horseradish in the mix which was something I never thought of adding on my own. Sadly the server didn't add my dinner order to our ticket so my husband was through with his meal once my food came but we had so many appetizers and drinks it didn't upset me. Our plan was to share our dinners anyway so we split his dinner and mine. Photos included.

Overall Rating: 4/5 Great location with plenty of cheap metered parking when we visited on a Monday evening. Super convenient! Drinks: The drinks were great! I didn't order an alcoholic drink myself, but my colleagues did, and after tasting theirs I can see why they kept ordering more rounds. Delicious and clearly well-made. Food: I went with the clam chowder bread bowl. It was decent. Warm and comforting on a cold night but nothing particularly memorable. Service: Fantastic service all around. Our bartender/server was incredibly kind, attentive, and patient. Another staff member even offered to take a group photo when he saw us step outside to admire the view. We stayed for about 3-4 hours and never once felt rushed, which we really appreciated. Overall, a great experience. We'll definitely be back!

If you're looking for a spot to grab a quick bite and drink before a Warriors game, this is a great spot! Came about a couple hours before the Warriors game and were able to get seated right away. We got a round of drinks, and shared the roasted vegetables and the house chips. The roasted vegetables were simple, but super delicious. After a long day of drinking, it was definitely a good palette cleanser. The house chips were also super good, but were not vinegary as advertised, which was a bit disappointing. The side of tartar sauce was a strange, but surprisingly great pairing with the chips. This is a great outdoor place to hang before a game or event at Chase center!

Wow! What a great place for lunch! You can't beat the views. The food is excellent, drinks are delicious, service is fantastic. We had the tuna poke bowl & fish and chips. Drinks were the Rampage & Paloma. We will totally come back!!!!

This is one of those rare SF gems that actually feels like an escape. You're right on the water with boats in the background, a salty breeze, and that perfect laid-back energy that's hard to find in the city. Amazing food, delicious drinks, friendly & attentive staff, and beautiful sunsets. Doesn't get much better

Good place to hang out & have lunch before a game or concert at the Chase Center just few steps away. You order your food through the QR code or at the window. Outside eating reminds me of a beer garden. Nice view in the back of the dock. The food I had was good. Cant beat clam chowder & fish & chips when you live the ocean. Very good portions. Will come back again maybe with more people.

Amazing on the water location with cozy decor. Various seating options inside and out and a partially indoor/outdoor section. So don't let the weather keep you from going if you're in the area! Fun drink options during happy hour. Friendly and welcoming staff. The shrimp cocktail may sound old school or dull but the freshness and homemade cocktail sauce are delish with an unexpected kick.

Always a great spot for lunch in mission Bay Area. Great burgers beer and a view. You can't ask for more. Eat outside on nice clear days so you can enjoy the gorgeous view of the bay. The burgers were excellent. Cooked to perfection. They were very flavorful and filling. The fries were pretty good. The service is great and friendly. They kept checking in to make sure everything is good.

Manager, with anger issues, denying lying about the prices.
    Eitan A.

I visited this restaurant late December. Upon receiving the menu I noticed the menu does not accurately list the price of the food item. For example, the "THE RAMP LOUIE" is listed as $17 but is actually $17.68 _pretax_. This restaurant lies to customers about the price of their food and management misleads people into believing that restaurant set fees are a "tax" or a "mandate" when they are in fact neither.

Found this restaurant while visiting SF. Fantastic food and service to match. The fish tacos were amazing! And the drinks (margaritas) super tasty! The relaxed atmosphere added to the great food and service. A place to come back and visit over and over again!

Visited with a couple friends for Sunday brunch and was greeted with ample seating. We sat inside since it was cold out but still got to have a beautiful view of the water. I tried the Crab Sandwich and Fish & Chips, both of which were great! The Fish & Chips came with a dipping sauce that my friend really enjoyed. The fries were also very crispy. Overall a nice spot to stop at for a casual meal if you're in this side of town. Very close to many other waterfront parks and activities!

They started by sitting us on the outside deck but close to the wall without a view. It's a covered patio with heaters, so even on a foggy night, not too cold. When a guest left one minute later on the balcony close to the water, we changed seats. No one got seated in our previous bad seats the whole time we were there. Strike one. We began our meal with a $16 margarita, which was tasty but fairly small. Husband had two martinis and I had an Aperol spritz later. These four drinks accounted for about $70 of our bill, even though it was happy hour. Strike two. We asked about the $1.50 oyster HH special. Were they small and from Washington state? Our waiter Alex answered yes to both. When our dozen oysters arrived, they were huge, gritty, slimy and inedible. The waiter even said they were "bigger than usual" and he liked them smaller. When we only ate one and said we didn't like them, he didn't take them away nor comp it. Strike three. One the positive side, we split a New England clam chowder soup ($12) and he brought an extra little bowl. The soup included bacon, parsley, oyster crackers and was creamy and very good. I had the ahi tuna ($22), with seasame, soy, avocado, ginger, scallion, and a good amount of wonton chips. Generous portion and fresh fish, but the ahi could have been sliced smaller. Husband had the cerviche ($24) which had a nice serving of seafood, with local rockfish, gulf prawns, avocado, lime, cilantro, and corn tortilla chips. He enjoyed it. Service was pretty slow but they were busy. If I was to go again, I'd stay for the views and not the food.

We were initially worried that it would be difficult with our twin one-year old terrors, but the team at the Chase Center and the Modelo Cantina made us feel so welcome. Rating Breakdown: 1/2 Stars for Food -- The food was aiite. I don't know if it was because it was a noon game, but the selection wasn't as broad as I had read in other reviews. There was chicken and waffles, papas con chorizo, rice, and beans. There was cookies and a very dry pan dulce for dessert. There was a nacho bar that also had chips and popcorn. They also served hot dogs at halftime. Typical stadium fare, nothing I would go out of way to have again. The limited open bar included wine, beer, ciders, and soft drinks. 1/1 Stars for Value -- It looks like it's currently $81 to access the cantina, which comes with unlimited food and drinks. At $20+ per alcoholic beverage, if you have two and eat your fill, you've pretty much recouped your money's worth. 1/1 Stars for Customer Service -- The staff was incredibly accommodating. They offered to let us stow our strollers near the elevator bay so they would be out of the way. Luckily our travel strollers fold down very small and they let us stow them under the balcony table near our seats. When one server saw my husband trying to bring lukewarm water from the bathroom to heat our baby's milk, she whisked away our containers and brought hot water from the back without us even asking. The bartenders also gave super generous pours. When they saw my husband coming back repeatedly, they just gave him an entire mason jar of wine. Bonus star for the lovely staff here. If I ever splurge on Warriors tickets again, I would consider coming back for that 5 star treatment.

Well that day was yesterday for a game against the Hawks. We got our tickets on their official resell site, TicketMaster. We got a pair of tickets for $179, for WCA row. The price included the game ticket and unlimited food and beverage for $90 a person was an absolute steal. I had the lowest of low expectations for the food, and I left pleasantly surprised. On the menu, they had carnitas tacos , which was build your own with flour tortillas. Twice baked potato skins, stuff poblano peppers, a nacho bar, salad station, popcorn, chips, and a dessert table. The buffet area isn't large, but everything we had was pretty tasty. They had these dulce de leche cannolis, which were so good, I'm ashamed at how many of these I ate, and I don't even like sweets lol Food was served until the end of the 3rd Quarter, and we were able to order drinks into the 4th Quarter. For the unlimited beverage, what was included was beer, wine, and NA drinks. The selection was solid, modelo, corona, Michelob ultra, golden state cider, and more. Not a wine drinker so didn't see what that looked like. Considering that beers cost $20 for a tall can, it's easy to get your moneys worth here if you have a few beers. While our tickets included f&b, They offer the buffet and drink package for $82, which might be a cheaper route versus buying à la carte at the various stalls throughout the arena, especially if you are seating near the club on the 2nd level. For the seats, we had a corner view so we had a great eye sight to the court. It's high up there but the views are still solid. If I'm gonna sit in the 2nd level, this is the place to be, especially if food and bev is included. We did bring cash to tip out the servers and bartenders so we didn't have to swipe our cards at any point to leave gratuity. Overall, a very solid experience. If you can get the tickets for a lower price, it's definitely one of the most underrated places to watch a game in the entire arena.
