If you're looking for safe gluten-free options because of celiac disease, I highly recommend The Red Bud Cafe. Finding restaurants that take gluten-free seriously can be challenging, so we were excited to find this place. The gluten-free crepes were absolutely delicious, and they also had gluten-free cupcakes and macarons. Everything we tried was excellent. We loved the macarons so much that we ordered two boxes to take with us--and honestly, we should have ordered more! The service was quick and friendly. Our waitress, Gordana (who I believe is the owner), took the time to explain the steps they take to minimize cross-contact for customers with celiac disease, which gave us confidence ordering there. The café also has a charming, cozy atmosphere that made the experience even more enjoyable. We'll definitely be back, and I hope this review helps other people with celiac disease who are searching for safe and delicious gluten-free options.

Thank you fellow yelpers for once again showing me the way! From the outside this place is unassuming, but inside there were quite a few tables. The decor is just the right kind of kitchy and interesting to look at. There was a book of interesting facts on the table that we enjoyed. Orange juice was freshly squeezed by a cool machine, and the bloody mary was beautifully made. Hubby had the steak and eggs. Had his choice of rib eye or NY strip, he chose the strip. It was cooked PERFECTLY and was easily one of the best steaks we...I mean he's had. (I had to taste it for the review, right?) My kiddo got thr strawberry jam crepe with walnuts, it was delish. For me, the Thai crepe is everything the hype says, I loved it. We also got the egg baked in avocado. It was pretty good too. I would absolutely recommend The Red Bud Cafe if you're anywhere nearby.

The service? Impeccable. The vibe? Extraordinary. RUN DONT WALK !! We got the Dubai Choco Crepe and it was genuinely one of the best I have ever had. I felt like my inner child was well taken care of. The nice server also gave me complimentary cookies for my mama cause I was so excited to share some of this experience with her. They were extremely attentive and sweet.

Best coffee in Daytona, truly fantastic. Me and my boyfriend are celiac and they were so accommodating for gluten free! We shared the Jessica gf crepe and the gf panini. Both AMAZING and huge portions! The real star of the show though was the mocha latte and iced macchiato. Definitely worth it.

Came into town for the Daytona race and stopped by redbud Café for a quick meal. I was pleasantly surprised by both the quality and size of the Argentinian crêpe I ordered. Had a pleasant conversation with the owner Gordana (Hope I spelled it right!) You can tell this mom and pop shop takes a lot of care when preparing their food. Cute little cafe. If you're in the Daytona Beach area and looking for a place to go for breakfast or an early lunch, you will miss out if you don't come here. They have a large menu with sweet and savory crepes and more classic breakfast options. Including many vegan/vegetarian options. All the food I saw come out of the open kitchen looked incredible - everything is made fresh. The staff is incredibly kind and willing to help create the perfect meal to meet any dietary needs or preferences. They seemed to really enjoy working here. My avocado toast was fresh and delicious with a perfect level of herbs and seasonings. The muffin I had as my side was so moist and delicious that I was practically licking the wrapper clean - I was shocked to find out it was vegan and gluten free!! I had a green smoothie and a caramel iced macchiato and they both were incredibly balanced flavors (not too sweet - not too bitter). The food service was very quick for everything being made to order! I will definitely be back next time I'm in the area.

Wow, really impressed with this place!! A cute brunch spot near the water that was so good! I ordered the avocado toast and it was so delicious! Multigrain toast with a healthy amount of avocado, baby tomatoes, and a parsley topping. Perfect combo of ingredients. Comes with a side salad, chips, soup, or muffin. Also got an iced vanilla latte which was great and the perfect sweetness. The service is also EXTREMELY fast and friendly - like I ordered and within 1-2 minutes, my food and drink was out. Really enjoyed it!

Arrived at opening and was greeted with a warm smile! The inside is charming and cozy. I enjoyed looking at the different art hanging all over the walls. Comfortable seating and love the small details on the table. The service was excellent. Highly recommend the iced macchiato. Ordered avocado toast, appreciated how fresh the avocado was. The toast was warm and the oil soaked into it brought out an excellent flavor. Two large slices which could be shared with someone. The muffin was perfectly warm.

Amazing food and amazing service! It's elevated dining with personal interaction. The food is so flavorful, made to order, and absolutely better than any brunch or breakfast I've had in a long time. Also, the OJ is fresh squeezed FOR EACH GLASS! They have a cool machine that does it right there in front of you. Also, get the tiramisu.

If you are in Daytona Beach you have to stop by this adorable family owned hidden gem. It's right next to the Waffle House. We walked into this cozy little establishment and were welcomed immediately. The service was wonderful and the owner and her daughter made it a point to make us feel at home. My husband ordered a freshly squeezed orange juice that was the sweetest I've ever tasted. He went traditional with eggs, toast and bacon which were all cooked to perfection and I had the baked avocado which was hands down one of the best breakfasts I've ever had. I'm a savory girl and try to eat healthy when possible so this was perfect for me. The baked avocado was stuffed with eggs, cheese, and crispy bacon on top which was nestled on a bed of fresh crisp lettuce, tomato, green onion and a fresh tangy dressing that gave it the perfect balance of acid that it needed. Cutting into the avocado was my favorite part to get to that beautiful runny yolk. So many crepe choices too. I can't wait to go back next time we are here visiting to try something else!

Where do I begin. This place is beyond amazing on sooo many levels I have been going here since they opened and even though I haven't been back in too long it's a place I will forever return to not just because of the delicious great food but the owners and their entire family are THEE BEST they are so kind so sweet and so generous they truly make you feel like family I love mamma Jovana and her daughter Gordana and her daughters are amazing young woman the husband Drago is even great too super nice polite helpful people I just can't their entire family is just amazing please try this place. All of the food is a hit my favorite is the Burek the meat one even though I will say I preferred when it was in a circle versus how they make it now, the Argentinian crepe and the Thai Crepe oh and that chimichuri sauce is too die for (you can buy it) and I loooove the ajvar . I love how they make you feel so at home and my kids absolutely love going there and love mamma J too. It's a beautiful experience every time you enter. The place is beautiful love the art work on the walls Gordana draws and so do her daughter it's beautiful work just like them. For me when picking a restaurant it's not just about how great the food is although that will always have me come back but for me and my family it's about how we are treated and this place definitely takes the golden star! I wish this place many many years of excellence success and business they deserve it! I forgot to mention although I haven't had the pleasure to attending they have special nights where they do like Moroccan night or Italian night etc. I am looking forward to attending one so that I can review that as well stay tuned guys.

My wife and I came to the Red Bud randomly on our trip to Daytona. The vibe inside was very eclectic, yet very simple. This is the very definition of a hole in the wall. Our server was very nice; I believe he was the owner of the restaurant. He mentioned that the restaurant was known for its delicious crepes, so that is exactly what we had. I had the Argentinean crepe, made with carne, caramelized onions, roasted peppers, and their own chimichurri sauce. Let me tell you, this was soooo good. The crepe itself was very well made. It did not fall apart easily, and the flavor of the carne with the chimi sauce made this dish. My wife had the Nutella crepe, and I also got the chance to take a few bites. Each bite was better than the last, and I was tempted to buy one myself. Overall, our experience was very pleasant, and honestly, if I lived in Daytona, I would come here every morning.

It's common to call a restaurant a hidden gem, but this place is a hidden diamond in the rough. We came in early on a Sunday, and were honestly just looking for a simple breakfast before heading home. The interior is very welcoming, and has a subtle European vibe to it. When I read the caption at the top of the menu, I got really excited: "THE RED BUD CAFE SERVES DELICACIES FROM AROUND THE WORLD: FROM BOSNIA TO AUSTRALIA AND A WHOLE LOT OF OTHER COUNTRIES IN BETWEEN" The family and servers were so warm and welcoming, checking up and helping each other out as needed. Mama Jovana, the grandma in the kitchen, was serving and smiling along with everyone else. It felt like we were at her house. My husband and I love Europe and discovering new foods and eateries, and I knew I wanted to try something new. I ordered the Burek with Potatoes (I'm not vegan but this was really good!) and a chai latte. I look forward to trying the spinach and cheese one in the future. My husband had the ham and cheese crepe with a caramel latte. We noticed a family at the door who was apprehensive on sitting, as their son had a number of allergies such as gluten and dairy. They were asking a number of questions about the types of flour they used, and the servers brought some of the flour bags to them to help make the right decision. The family sat down to eat, and the staff was so patient and accommodating for this family, that I had to mention it in my review. Beautifully decorated, comfortable & clean cafe! So glad we finally stopped in, we will be regulars. The Elvis crepe was cooked perfectly with lots filling. My husband loved the breakfast taco! Drinks were great as well. I'll save room for pastries on our next visit, they looked sinfully delicious. Just when I thought this place couldn't get any better, they start having international themed nights with food and entertainment to match!! There was a Moroccan night and they brought in a belly dancer! WHAT?! This place goes above and beyond to bring other cultures and food into this little beach town. The owners are well traveled and so a conversation with them is always a delightful treat!!! If you haven't checked them out - do it now!? Well they might be closed right now but get there!!! This cafe makes you feel like you are at home and that you are just enjoying some of your grandmothers cooking. Mama Jovana makes such delicious crepes, and has been doing so since she was 8!! She reminded me of my own grandmother who has passed on, so it was nice to go to this quaint little cafe. This place gets busy, so get there early! Her son makes one of the best lattes I've ever had, and I've had lattes in multiple countries besides the US! There is so many chain restaurants to eat at, hotel restaurants to just conveniently go to, but I implore you the next time you're in Daytona to give the Red Bud cafe a try, and I don't think you'll go anywhere else for breakfast when in Daytona. read more

The parking to get to this place had us doubtful. only streetside parking on a one way road. but it WAS beyond worth it. the service was uncommonly good. I had a affagado, and my family had normal coffees. the coffee grounds they use must be amazing. I had a beef Argentinian crepe (10/10), my brother had "the big brekkie" (9/10) he described it as the perfect portion of food and said he'd use it as a reference in the future for his own meals. My mother had a mushroom crepe. (8/10) very good but couldn't be finished as she ate earlier. amazing atmosphere, reminds me of a mom and pop in Portugal for some reason! great food. my brother originally joked it was 2 stars for parking before he ate, but he retracted it entirely. if we come back we will definitely eat here!. Wonderful! My wife and I happened by Red Bud Cafe while traveling and found a gem. The crepes were off the charts good and the atmosphere and service were the best. Loved it so much we planned a weekend trip from St. Augustine around the Red Bud Cafe. Lunch quesadillas on Saturday were scrumptious, Saturday night French date night was a special 7 course meal with entertainment that was very unique and a joy and Sunday morning breakfast was delightful. A special place everyone should try. We'll be back! read more

This did not hit the mark for my non-picky crew. We have adventurous eaters and ordered a range of items. The only satisfied customer had the s'mores crepe and what can really go wrong with pure sugar? The thai crepe was virtually inedible as described by more than one in our group. The quesadilla and creamy mushroom crepes were "ok". On the positive note, the iced macchiatos were good! If only it felt like our waitress wasn't just trying to tolerate us, it would have been easier to stomach the $100 lunch that no one enjoyed. read more

The Red Bud Café is a treasure! It's a cute spot with some interesting art (look for the line drawings) an open diner style kitchen, and good tunes coming through the speakers. Lavender latte is on point! Not too sweet not to lavendery...just right! Multigrain toast and a three egg omelette rounded out my order and both were super yummy. My travel companion has a significant dietary precaution, and this restaurant could not have been more kind, careful and accommodating! And her breakfast was delicious! We were so impressed with the entire vibe that we came back the next morning for a carryout crepe to take to our friend who lives in Daytona with the hope that she will become a regular. read more

Portion sizes are small for the price. The food was okay. We ordered the argentinian beef crepe and the strawberry nutella crepe. We wished the crepes were filled edge to edge. It was only filled in the middle so there was barely any meat and barely any of the nutella. Mostly ate dough. Will not be returning. Could not have been better. Wanted the ham and cheese crepe, but the owner said I need the Argentinian one. After a long talk I decided to get it. Oh my God was it great. Crepe was cooked perfectly and the meat was awesome. Not to heavy but the best savory crepe I have in my life. Young cook went to Embry-Ridle was super nice. Service was personal and very friendly. This place could make it in any large city in the world. Place is a lot bigger than it looks from outside. We were there for the 24 Hour race and we're glad we went. Loved the owners. read more

Sunday morning and asked if red bud cafe for breakfast would be a good choice. It was enthusiasticly agreed on Had the breakfast crepe with eggs ham pepper mushrooms and onions. We were asked if we wanted chimichurri (parsley, fresh garlic oregano olive oil and red pepper flakes) to pep up the flavor. Both of us agreed. The breakfast crepes were wonderful. Talking with owners daughter about the food and all. She said all ingredients are fresh, crepe batter made fresh 2 or 3 times a day. All natural ingredients. The daughter said she can do vegan and non gluten crepes. Just let her know what you want. This place is amazing and the owners are so nice and helpful. Find the redbud cafe. Had the barbecue pork crêpe and a second one (we shared), plant-based chicken with veggies, and some Thai peanut sauce. Also, we each got a cup of chai. My friend got several desserts to go. They have quite an assortment of interesting desserts. Last year they were the 13th ranked restaurant in Florida by Yelp. Mostly breakfast and lunch. Sometimes they stay open until six, I believe. I'm just gonna get right to the point because I love this place and it makes my soul happy. I left a 5-star review 2yrs ago but the past few times we've come in (when we come to town), it's been a little bland. The ingredients and the food are always extremely fresh and made to order, but I've had to add salt to the Argentinian Crepe because it's been a little bland. I haven't seen sweet Momma Jovana in the kitchen the past few times we've come in either, maybe theres a correlation? Momma Jovana makes magic mixed with pure love in the kitchen but without her there, it feels like it's slightly missing the mark. It's not bad by any means, but just seems to be slightly bland. So if I could provide a little constructive feedback, here's the things I think could use a little improvement. -more salt in the savory dishes -I would also like to see fresh salt & pepper grinders on the tables rather than iodized salt (but that may just be my personal preference) -air filtration system could use improvement--Every time we come in, our clothes soak up the smells from the kitchen and we leave smelling like food. Aside from these minor things, this place is still amazing and we'll continue our tradition of coming in every time we come to town. Again, this place makes my soul happy! The staff has ALWAYS been incredibly friendly and accommodating. We love the dairy-free/gluten-free options for the crepe batter!! (That's huge for us because of our dietary restrictions) We've also noticed the additions and improvements to the menu over our recent times in. (It's always great to see new items--they've really kicked up their desserts too!!) I said this before but I'll say it again, the food is ALWAYS very fresh and made fresh to order. Our cafè is focused on delicious homemade goodness, featuring savory, sweet and vegan crêpes, as well as paninis, minced meat, cheese, spinach and cheese bureks (think Greek spinach pie), tiny cookies, cakes and of course beautiful coffees. Our food is a mix of Eastern Europe, meets Western Europe, meets Australia, in Daytona Beach.

The Red Bud Café is a family run establishment. Mama Jovana is the baker and matriarch of the café, she is assisted by her son Drago, daughter Gordana and granddaughters. Every bit of food is prepared with love and care, using the freshest ingredients to create tied and tested family recipes as well as some picked up along the way, from Yugoslavia, Italy and Australia.

Meet the Business Owner: Jovana A.

Mama Jovana and her kids, Gordana and Drago always dreamed of opening up a restaurant. Their dream finally became reality in 2018 when they rolled up their sleeves and opened up The Red Bud Cafe in Daytona Beach. Since the Andjelic family started out in Yugoslavia, immigrated to Italy, then to the U.S. and eventually even to Australia, it seemed only fitting to introduce the cuisine they had experienced along the way to the local and visiting folks. One thing was certain though, that they wanted to make crepes and Italian-style specialty coffees their staples. Crepes have been the family's favorite dessert forever and a day. Because crepes are delicious savory as well, the family has come up with several new fillings, among them the Argentinian beef and the Chicken Thai crepes which are two favorites on the Red Bud menu. But, the Andjelic family wanted to be a welcome place for all tastes. palates and dietary needs, so they developed several vegetarian and vegan dishes as well.

Since the new year, it's obvious Serra Doce is leveraging all they've learned and have made major changes and improvements. They seem all in. There is now a brunch and à la cart breakfast and amazing sandwiches, pastries and fresh fruit offerings. Truly, Serra Doce has retained the best of why I've always enjoyed my coffees at this location, and expanded my choices with really amazing food offerings. The service is great. It's tough to keep staff these days, and like any regular place I go to, I do see new faces. But old ones too. All of my interactions have always been wonderful. It's why I come back. You can mix and match the ice cream scoops to your fancy, and the pricing is super reasonable. They also GIVE YOU A LOT. In fact, the small cup I had could have been shared with someone. As for the ice cream selection I settled on, I went with their boozy option for the Bailey's Ice Cream. While the Bailey's flavoring was subtle, it was still quite tasty. As a picky eater, it is an absolute nightmare idea for me to go into a place and try something I've never had before. I compulsively find one thing I like and never try anything else again. Red Bud Cafe breaks that mold entirely. I don't know how else to describe the taste and variety except that it's like the good, homemade, Mama Bear cooking that people read about in books. The staff are delightful, quirky, and interesting people and manage to blend multiple cultures naturally and seamlessly into their fare without sacrificing anything in the process, and the overall charm and atmosphere of the cafe is comfortable on a Sunday afternoon and intriguing on a Friday night. Eclectic and wonderful is all I have to say. Try the Thai crepe and fairy bread - you won't be let down. Thank you Red Bud for quickly becoming one of my favourite places to eat on the planet. I stopped by The Red Bud Cafe on Seabreeze and it quickly became one of my favorite spots in Daytona Beach! I ordered the iced caramel macchiato, and it was absolutely delicious, perfectly balanced, smooth espresso with just the right amount of sweet caramel flavor and a refreshing chill. It hit the spot on a warm Florida day. The cafe itself is super charming and cozy inside, with beautiful art on the walls and a welcoming vibe that makes you want to linger. The staff was friendly and attentive, and everything felt fresh and thoughtfully prepared. I'll definitely be back to try more. When we arrive they were very busy and there was a delay on getting the macchiato but so worth the wait. Everyone needs to try this place at least once! There needs to be a lot more restaurants Like this across Florida. Many lactose free options. Vegetarian friendly. Filling. Reasonably price for healthy. You will not be disappointed walking into this cafe. From the bathrooms to the food everything was amazing. Cleanest bathrooms I have ever used. The food was clean. Non GMO. No antibiotics. Purified water (no flouride, low ph , no chemicals). Kind, artistic and loving family with an amazing story. I have never met such amazing people with such beautiful stories and wide vision. I had the spicy tai crepe and the strawberry vegan chocolate crepe . As well as an almond latte. I was craving a crepe for breakfast this morning while vacationing in Ormand Beach and found the Red Bud Cafe in my search. I am so glad we decided to go there. I had the strawberry walnut crepe and it was so amazing. The crepe had the perfect crispness to compliment the strawberries and walnuts. I also had a cappuccino and I always know it is perfect when I do not need to add sugar to it. This one was perfect. The owners were delightful and full of information about the restaurant and recipes. She has been making crepes since she was 13! Absolutely delicious! The Red Bud Cafe is a very refreshing sight to see in Daytona, and is definitely a safe haven from the hustle and bustle of the streets. The service was very welcoming, surprisingly educational (ask about the water!) and extremely attentive! The family who owns the business obviously puts a lot of care and effort into everything they serve. The crepes are also excellent!! And are made by an equally excellent and funny lady who definitely has her fair share of stories to tell! The Red Bud Cafe in Daytona Beach is a hidden gem! My wife and I had the pleasure of visiting on a sunny day and were blown away by the delicious food and fresh orange juice. I had the chicken and mushroom crepe and my wife had the avocado toast, both of which were outstanding. Our server, Adelle, was attentive and friendly. One of the best breakfast spots in Florida, hands down. The only downside was that the seats were a bit tight, but I'm willing to overlook that minor detail because the food was so good. Daytona's hidden Gem! I have had crepes in San Francisco and thought they were amazing. The crepes at Red Bud Cafe are comparable if not even better. I have been here several times and the food is anyways fantastic. The staff is so friendly and lovely to talk to. The cafe itself very charming. The ambiance is awesome so many pretty things to look at and decorated so cute!!!! The service was excellent BUT THE FOOD LAWD HAVE MERCY WORDS CANNOT TELL HOW EXCELLENT IT IS!!!!! Man, did we pick the right place for brunch today! I had the Argentinian beef crepe and it was delicious with the perfect blend of complementary flavors. The cappuccino was excellent and our food was presented in a delightfully unique fashion. The Redbud is a new restaurant, open about 5 weeks when we visited today. It was so savory and my only regret is not being able to finish it. The water they serve also goes through a great filtration system that leaves it sweet.
