Also they only serve Prime Rib one night a week and only Friday Night. Should at least do Friday and Saturday I had to go somewhere else Saturday So my girlfriend could have prime rib for her birthday. They lost two customers right there for Saturday night i'm here others chose somewhere else too. Perhaps I'll think about that one. The coleslaw was way over sauced. The Fried Chicken was over fried till I'd was over Krispy but still was good inside, moist and juicy. Mashed Potatoes with gravy were pretty good. The Mac and Cheese I liked because the cheese sauce wasn't to thick. Not bad at all. The St. Louis ribs were my favorite thing of the night. Tender, flavorful, and the sauce wasn't overpowering. 4 Stars. The signature cocktails were very good. We went with The Miss Kitty Ice Tea. Wow what a great flavor Combination. 4 1/2 Stars. With a few changes this place could be five stars. I did get a chance to talk to the owner who by the way there's also the Mayor of Williams, Arizona. Very nice Gentleman and his staff were all very nice also. I may try them again but I'm hoping Rod's steakhouse will be reopened again on my next visit. The sides and salad were very good but the steak was overcooked. I had the Bourbon Glazed Sirloin. The steak was not seasoned very well and the bourbon glaze was a little overpowering. The decor is great but I don't care for the flags too much we gave and got respect from start to finish. The cook was friendly and wow the kitchen staff is efficient the food came out at good times; drinks, apps, salad, main dish, to go deserts. The sirloin steak with bourbon sauce is bomba! The meat is tender and full of flavor; hint of spice and served with a loaded potato and wild rice. The rest of our group ate the grilled salmon, burgers, potato skins all good. We were in town for the train ride to the GC and couldn't stomach the food at the hotel's restaurant (only a buffet). We found Miss Kitty's through Yelp and decided to check it out. It's on Route 66 and has a small parking lot out front of the Red Roof Inn, so we were a bit spectacle (since our hotel's restaurant wasn't great). The inside is very large and the first thing we noticed was the recognition of first responders and military. We support both and we're very happy to see that. Our sever was very friendly and engaged in conversation with us about the restaurant and owner. Our food was good, except for the canned green beans as a side. Definitely try the southwestern bowl!! It is macaroni (no thick cheddar cheese) with a light sauce, topped with grilled chicken, bacon, scallions, chilies (they are medium in heat) and sun dried tomatoes. Very tasty!! read more

Miss Kitty's was surprisingly good! It was clean and the wait staff was young but great. We ordered steaks and burgers. All were prepared perfectly and seasoned well. Their portions are huge and their entrees included 2 sides and salad. The owner greeted us at the door and our table and gave us the history of the town and restaurant. Would definitely recommend Miss Kitty's located in Williams, Arizona which is a town that looks like it's out the movie cars. To start with I ordered a medium rare filet mignon and look at the photos , clearly it was almost well done and had zero flavor at all . Literally no salt or pepper rub no pan sauce and tasted like cafeteria food. I'm well traveled having eaten steaks in over 20 countries and especially in Vegas where you can get similar $20-30 steaks that are absolutely divine . I could cook a better steak blindfolded . The Mac and cheese was flavorless and even a box of Kraft Mac and cheese would be better than this cardboard junk . This is a disgrace to steakhouses and restaurants . This restaurant was highly recommended by our train tour guide from the Grand Canyon Railway. We also found out they were going to be doing live music by one of the entertainers on the train. It was a good 15 minute walk from the Grand Canyon hotel. Or a very short easy drive with plenty of parking right off the main strip. We were not disappointed! Prices were fair, especially for the area, and the food was delicious. What really made it for us though was the owner. Hewas walking around from table to table talking to the guests. I love when they take pride in their restaurants and really appreciate their guests. They were so accommodating and kind. We will definitely be back. When turkey dinner came the turkey looked like scrapings from the turkey bone. My wife had a 4-5 inch piece of turkey skin on top with gravy to cover. We walked out. Today i was not that hungry so i had the nachos, they were fully loaded, and i ate them all and i necer do that. It's in the red roof 's parking lot. So if u see red roof pulse u found the steak house. There was two restaurant that everyone talking about it, I am so happy that we choose this one due the live music and perfect food and lovely waitress that we had. The steak was delicious however I wish I ordered medium instead of medium well . In other hand the ribs was amazing like amazing . The best ribs I've ever had . The food was coming with two sides such as Mac and cheese vegetable mash potatoes and so many more which give u so many options. I wish I had tasted the food! The restaurant closes at 9:00pm, we called in and made a reservation for 8:00pm,ñ but we arrived a bit earlier at 7:40pm,ñ. Tho hostess sat us down and after 15 minutes a waitress comes to let us know that they had no glasses and that the kitchen had closed 15 minutes before we arrived. So... many questions... Why accept a reservation at 8:00pm? Why does your website say that you close at 9:00pm? Why even say us down if you supposedly closed 15 minutes before we arrive? My suggestion when in Williams, go to Safeway, buy some Ribeyes, grill them out self. read more

This was honestly one of the worst dining experiences I've had. From the start, our server didn't seem to want us there. He was not rude per se, just standoffish and unsmiling, seeming like we were there to add work for him - which I guess of course we were! - but not in the way that he appreciated our business. The menu stated that meals were served with salads and dinner rolls. An old fashioned touch that we thought was quaint. We never saw any rolls - maybe that was for the best. The tiny, adorable salads arrived first. I had no problem with this part, mixed greens and a few veggies on top. Obviously jarred, premade dressings, but a lot of restaurants do that rather than making their own and I can live with it. With the dishes still on our table, our next course arrived - about five minutes after the salad. We found this a bit odd as we'd waited a very very long time for the salads - almost twenty five minutes - and it was less than five after that for the soup. Odd timing. We ordered french onion soup to start, something we both usually love, but this was not good at all. It was extremely salty, and obvious either canned for from a dehydrated mix. It was warm in spots and cold in spots, with a gummy slice of cheese on top. I am pretty sure from the consistency that it was heated in the microwave. Yuck. We didn't finish, but had hopes for the steaks. After all, this was advertised as a steak house, so it couldn't be all bad, right? We waited. And waited. Our dishes, from salad and soup, sat on the table. We were getting pretty hungry. We waited some more. My husband noted that an order had been sitting at the restaurant pass for quite some time. We started watching to see where it might go, and with a bit of relief saw that it was picked up by a waitress that wasn't our server. Oh, good, so it wasn't ours that sat and sat. Oh, yep, she brought it to our table. Uncertain, as she wasn't our server, she asked who had which. I stated that I had the bourbon glazed. She looked at both plates in confusion. Neither had a glaze. "You wanted glazed?" she asked. "Well, yes, that's what I ordered, " I replied. "You ordered glazed?" she asked again, and I replied again in the affirmative. She did apologize at that point and gave my husband his oddly cut, decidedly gray steak and took mine back to the kitchen. We were both a bit perplexed, but she returned shortly with mine, which now had a cold glaze poured on top of the steak. I tasted a bit of it. Yep, cold. Not a nice touch to a warm steak, and it was bitter, salty, and tasted like BBQ sauce watered down with beef boullion. Ick. Okay, I would try to deal. I poked at the veggie side. Hey - carrots and zucchini, two of my favourites in there! Unfortunately the carrots were hard as rocks and clearly undercooked. The zucchini was mushy and slimy and clearly overcooked. Okay, I thought, surely they can't mess up the mac and cheese side! Oh, yes, yes they could. It was horrible, bland and tasteless with a clear from-a-mix vibe. I've actually been served kraft mac and cheese as a side at a diner that was much, much better than this. Fine! Lets try the steak! My medium rare was bloody raw, and was now completely cool, either from sitting so long waiting to get to me, or from the cold glaze on it, or both. It was chewy and seemed to have been previously frozen. Nope, couldn't do it. My husband waved over the waiter, who hadn't checked on us and had left our dirty other dishes just sitting on the table, and asked for the bill. At this point, a decent server would have at least asked if things were okay - we'd clearly only taken a bite or two of our steaks. When I'd worked as a server, I'd have called over the manager at the very least to talk to us - maybe to comp something from our bill as we obviously, very clearly didn't eat what we were given. But no, there was absolutely nothing said, just given the bill. We paid and left. Went to the Carl's Jr. across town and grabbed some edible food. read more

I was hesitant to eat here because of some of the reviews I read, but as it was sunday, most everything in town was closed, so we gave it a try. First, the server Jim was very nice and attentive. He checked on us regularly, kept our water full, and brought our food quickly. My boyfriend ordered the bourbon glazed steak, which he said was perfectly coomed and tasted wonderful. The mac & cheese left more to be desired, but when we mentioned it to jim, he discounted our bill, which was super cool of him. I ordered potato skins and a cup of french onion soup, both delicious! I had the AZ daqueri (its more of a mixed coctail,but very good!) And BF had a martini. I didnt get pics of food because we ate it before I remembered to get photos! We opted to skip appetizers & ordered our meals. I ordered the filet mignon with a baked potato and the seasonal veggies. My friends had the fried chicken with mac & cheese, mashed potatoes w/gravy, and veggies. My steak was lightly seasoned and cooked perfectly (medium rare). Good loaded potato and the veggies were tasty and well seasoned. The fried chicken was also lightly seasoned but good. The pieces were quite small but each plate had 5 pieces. Our server was very friendly and frequently checked on us. While this is not a premium steakhouse, it was good and a good value. $99.00 for cocktails and 3 full meals. Very very good food. And courteous attentive staff. My wife got fried chicken and the portions were so huge she couldn't finish it all. I got the most delicious pork chop i have had in years. Big portion or not I finished mine. A cowboy host camecaround and asked how we liked the food. There was a pic of Miss Kitty on the wall but no Marshall Dillon. When we brought up his absence the Cowboy quickly brought Matt and Kitty's photo which he hadn't hung on the wall yet. Food was reasonably priced compared to some restaurants in the Grand Canyon.
