Our house was built in the 50's and had the original galvanized plumbing.  After patching up leaks over the past five years, we had significant sewage buildup underneath the house last summer.  After submitting the RFQ, The Rooter Company was among the first to assess the work the next day.  Tristyn was honest and said they would make more money fixing the sewage issue then repairing other leaks down the inevitable road; we received additional quotes from other plumbers that were either out of our price range, didn't come across as genuine/trustworthy, or highly pushy and pressured to sign a contract that very day (NexGen). At the end of the day, we went with The Rooter Company and were pleased working with Chris (manager) as he guided us through the work required and game plan to redrain the entire house. Once the plumbing was complete, we decided to remodel our kitchen and bathrooms and could not be happier. Though it was a big investment, we are extremely happy and will be in our remodeled home for a very long time. The other day, we noticed our master shower was draining slowly and the toilet in the same bathroom, located upstairs, was constantly getting backed up for no apparent reason. I reached out to The Rooter Company based on the reviews on Yelp, and I couldn't have made a better decision. I met with Gilbert and RJ the day before New Year's Eve for a consultation. I agreed to the work that was required and was told they would return the next day to start. In typical old house (new-to-us) fashion, what started as what I thought would be a simple snake clean-out, ended up being a fairly large project, which required digging, installing clean-outs, de-scaling, hydro jetting, and epoxy coating of the inner pipes in practically the entire 2-story house. Despite it being New Year's Eve, Gilbert, RJ and their crew came out and knocked out the project in one day before the sun even set. They were here on time for both appointments. Gilbert and RJ and the crew were top-notch professionals and friendly. They took the time to educate me on the issues and how to approach them and even showed me where the problems were via the snake camera. They even took the time to fix some of the work the previous company did on another major project I had done for the garage/kitchen plumbing earlier in the year. When they were done, they cleaned everything up and put everything back together as if nothing ever happened. As a plus, their pricing is very reasonable when comparing to other companies. These guys are the ones you want responding if you are in the OC area for all your plumbing needs. You will not be disappointed. Ahmad came out on time and found the underlying pipe issue by camera and gave us a detailed breakdown of all of our availabile options even after he flushed the buildup. It was nice to have someone be honest on which options would cost more versus getting a quick fix but not pushing us into one or the other. We hired This company to help us with our clogged sewer line, But they were sending people over and over just to make more money and at the end we payed them almost $3000 and they didn't do anything they wanted us to pay more for them to unclog the line.They took our money and the line was still clogged So we called another plumber and they came over and used a jet to clean up the line and they did it for $350 Don't hire them. read more

Contacted the Rooter Company because we had a leak from the upstairs bathroom. Gilbert came out promptly and provided all the information that I needed on how to fix it. As someone with no plumbing knowledge, he explained the process in detail and answered all of my questions. Phillip then came and was the main technician who helped epoxy the drain lines in the bathroom. They were super quick only taking less than 2 days (first day to prep, second to epoxy the lines and fix the drywall). He even checked my other pipes and told me what maintenance I would need for them (eventually). Phillip took the time to explain everything very clearly. As soon as they left, I called Phillip back 30 minutes later because I noticed water on the wood floors downstairs (separate issue). He came right away and checked around. Unable to figure out the source, he called a leak detection company to come out two days later to figure out the issue. Phillip also called a restoration company to come out and work with me. The restoration guy came that same night and even helped set up a dehumidifier to help dry up the affected floors and drywall. When it rains, it pours, but I am so grateful for the Rooter Company because I was freaking out and stressed when I saw water on the wood floors. Phillip basically called his people and helped me handle everything. Gilbert even called and messaged me throughout to check in on me. They offer free visual estimate (apparently) and really push to give your FULL name your address and then your telephone number and when you do, they disappear. I originally filed a claim with my home warranty to fix my bathroom sink. 2 visits later the service they sent let me know my vessel faucet needed to be replaced and the warranty only covers standard parts. I ended up getting $55 to cover parts and installation from the home warranty which doesn't cover even an hour of labor. Getting their plumbing service back on the schedule took forever.
