More like 4.5, this is a really good place and we really enjoyed our dinner! Nice atmosphere and service is top notch. Can't wait to dine in their out door space when the weather is warmer! We had the following; Shed Wings 4.5 its sweet with the glaze with a nice kick Chicken and Waffle 4 though this was five but chicken was bit dry. Syrup has a mean kick to it, Kids couldn't handle it Shed Burger 4 Done nicely and the fries was really good Paillard Chicken 5 this was amazing, totally surprised everyone loved this Drinks Bloody Mary and Pink Vodka, both were really good, you gotta try them. I do wish the Pink Vodka had less ice or use a bigger glass (got too little out of a 14 dollars drink) Service 5 Décor 4.5 Awesome addition to the neighborhood and would highly recommend to anyone Will definitely be returning! read more

cute nice lunch spot with a pretty good menu. very pretty, nicely decorated, and located in a nice area. food tasted was delicious with nicely sized portions. I got the Cobb salad which was very yummy but to me at what seemed to be a reasonable price these days with food inflation *eye roll*. Also tried the fries with the shed sauce which was really delicious. One downside was that it took an annoyingly long amount of time for the food to come out. Especially since no one at the table ordered anything complicated. We ordered 3 salads, 1 burger, and a side of fries. Coming from a girl that loves her water so cold it hurts, I was disappointed that it didn't come with ice and was room temperature. I recommend sitting outside if the weather allows as its very pretty and quiet. And while at some restaurants sitting in the back may put you at a disadvantage, the shed servers do not neglect you back there! 3.5/5 would come back. read more

We rarely request table change. At the Shed with available tables (visualized) for two we requested to move as soon as we sat down. We were told flat out there were no tables. We only wanted to move bc there were available tables and had the opportunity to move from a party of 8-9 at the bar. Oh well. I guess they didn't realize we had our empty table seeing glasses on. read more

I've been wanting to try this place for a while. It was worth the wait. I arrived a half hour after their opening time and there was already a waitlist! (I guess that speaks volumes, right?) The ambiance is nice. First impression, the location is clean and everyone seems to work well together. Greeters were pleasant and my waitress Fran was the cutest. She suggested this particular mocktail and it was a great choice for me. The food portions are huge and so flavorful. I really enjoyed the brioche french toast and my omelette was perfectly done. I didn't get to try the home fries...yet. Overall, this place has a really good brunch vibe and I look forward to returning to try out their lunch/dinner. read more

I love the shed! I am obsessed with their Cob salad. It is always consistently fresh and love the homemade dressings. The bacon is perfect corn and tomatoes are as well. I used to always go to Huntington but now go to Plainview. Last time I went to Huntingtton the food was off. My husband has ordered the burger which he enjoyed the chicken and waffles and other sandwiches, all excellent. I always get the cob- and the cocktails are nice too. read more

Went here for an early New Year's Eve dinner. We wanted outdoor seating since the weather was temperate enough. They couldn't have been nicer. They dried down some damp chairs and a table, set up the propane heater and even gave us blankets. They showed our kids the mini putting green too. Now to the food. Everything was delicious and hot. My wife got the salmon which was nicely done and there was enough for left overs. I had the shrimp oreganata which was also really nice. The kids had grilled cheese which was a bit greasy. The adult Mac and cheese app and the kids Mac and cheese were both great. Didn't get desert so cannot comment on that. Definitely will be returning soon. read more

The wait was long and the restaurant was packed. The wait staff was very friendly and service was good! What part knocked down my review my choice of meals I ordered the egg sandwich but my mistake was the onion jam it did not make enjoy my meal it was overly sweet but that my fault I should have realized and ordered differently. Everyone else throughly enjoyed their meals burgers were excellent! Egg Benedict was also great. But the highlight was the dessert of waffles and ice cream!! read more

6:30 pm on a nor'easter stormy night....Thursday a week before the holidays.We walk in (this was our second visit in 6 months)and there were 2 tables and maybe 5 people at the bar...they show us to a small table for 2 alone on the other side of the restaurant...(we dine alone at home...we eat out to be around others)when we said we wanted a booth in front we started to sit and they directed us again to a tiny table. "Why?" there is nobody here! We left immediately but not before telling them we aren't coming back. We walked 2 stores down to another popular place and it was easy to see why the place was hopping. We were served quickly, the food was great and when we left an hour later nearly every table was occupied. As we passed The Shed going to our car, there were still barely any customers. How you treat customers matters...even if your food is extraordinary ( and theirs isn't or we would have returned sooner). When your place is that empty at dinner time your greeting should be "where would you like to sit? " Followed by "Thanks for coming out on such a stormy night, its nice to see you!" read more

They deserve 0 stars, but I will leave them 1 star because they credited our meal. Server brought our food to wrong table and it sat their for 10 minutes. They took it off the wrong table and brought it to us. I asked if they could bring us a new order (germs and cold food). They want back to the kitchen and sent out the same food still cold. When I cut into my omelet I found a nice surprise hair under it. Surely not from my bald head. Spoke to manage later I guess chef wasn't happy I sent it back. Be aware eat if you dare. read more

The best neighborhood restaurant! Food is delicious and drinks are heavenly. Bit pricy but then again it's high end quality.

The outside area has a major bee problem but they continued to seat people there anyway. No one who worked there seemed to care about solving the problem and when we asked if there was a way to move inside (there wasn't), the hostess said "we warned you about the bees". After ordering drinks, 10 bees were landing on them and we decided to get our order to go. Pure greed to continue to seat people outside when all they had to do was close the patio and tell people there was a bee problem. Only gave two stars because the food was decent. read more

We always sit at the bar and Nadim is awesome. He's an extremely hard worker, excellent bar tender, courteous, and very attentive to customers. The food is the best I've had in a long time - it's my favorite place to go. Everything we've had is delicious, from eggs Benedict, steak n eggs to salmon dinner, pork special, BLT, Rubin - I could go on and on. Everything is great from service to food - they compliment each other. My husband and I Started coming here for brunch on the weekends and now going on Saturday nights for dinner and deserts. You can't go wrong with anything you order. I haven't experienced service at a table yet but seeing how crowded it always is I'm guessing the staff is on point just like Nadim. I love love love this restaurant for breakfast/brunch. They always have a fantastic pancake of the weekend that I order almost every time we go. Love the breakfast bowl, French toast and the espresso. Great ambiance and great service. Very busy so we always sit at the bar. read more

My daughter and 3 of her co-workers went for a girls night out on Friday, April 19th, little did they know that their work day was not finished when they left work. Unfortunately a gentlemen sitting at the table next to them stood up only to collapse, hit the floor hitting his head and shaking. Being all OR Nurses, they called 911 and provided medical attention until the ambulance came. They then assisted the EMT's put this man on the gurney and explained what medical equipment was being applied and what he would feel. His wife, and children, watched on and thanked the girls for all their help. It seems this gentlemen suffered a heart attack in the restaurant. 2 men at the bar clapped and said "nice job girls" however after the incident the only interaction from the staffing of The Shed was to ask if their dishes could be cleared, given their check which they paid and the girls left. No one from management had the decorum to even thank them for helping save a patron's life in the middle of their restaurant on a busy Friday night. The shame is the girls all said the food was very good and they would go back or recommend this establishment but the lack of gratitude, a thank you, can go along way has changed their attitude. A smart business owner would have at least said a round of drinks or desserts on us. They will not be back and nor will anyone else I can tell this story to. Next time say "Thank You" when someone helps save a life! read more

First of all it was a long wait on a Monday early afternoon. The service was extremely slow. They also allowed two big dogs on their outside patio that was barking the whole time. The shed bowls included chicken that look like it was tunafish. Need I say more. I went here a few months ago and the service wasn't bad at all.
