I ordered the rattle snake burger. The bun is amazing tasted homage, the spread they have works well with this burger. The burger consisted of thick cut bacon (cooked to perfection) guacamole (the freshest I've had in a while), they toasted the pepper jack and it was melted well on the burger. The patty was juicy, flavorful and messy they best burger quality. The atmosphere is good, the pictures on the wall are local and all the decorations are unique. Overall we had a good experience at Snakebite. The parking can be a bit of a nightmare if you go around rush hour (but we don't mind walking a bit.) The interior is very clean and the windows help it feel open. The bar is separated from the dining area which is nice, and the waiting staff were all friendly. Our food was okay/good, nothing was great in our opinion. The coconut prawns appetizer was fun to try, but overall was too sweet. I think an acidic element such a different sauce or a lime would cut through the sweetness and elevate the dish. The flavor profile of the burger was good, however they didn't ask how we wanted the burger and it was well-done. The patty itself was flavorful but dry. Unfortunately the pasta pomodoro was almost flavorless. The shrimp was good, and the basil spread on the sourdough was yummy and made me wish I had ordered the pesto pasta lol. Overall this place is way too expensive for what you get. But the interior is really cozy, and the staff is nice. We didn't try any of the alcohol, but it looked amazing. Stopped in to eat dinner here last night. We sat outside on the "patio" which was really just on the sidewalk but still very nice. I got an Idaho Mule made with Hucklberry vodka that was TO DIE FOR. I also had the fish tacos which were really good but slightly over cooked. My partner got the buffalo chicken sandwich which was perfect. We both got waffle fries with fry sauce which I highly recommend. The service was quick and friendly. I definitely would come back here if I was in Idaho Falls again. read more

A major move in 2021 to Idaho Falls gives me the ability to explore new businesses. It is exciting for me to be able to review these offerings on Yelp. What a special restaurant. We were highly recommended to visit the Snakebite restaurant and are glad we did. We split the Grant Teton Burger which came with a side of the House salad. The salad was dressed nicely with balsamic vinaigrette. As the photo shows, it didn't last long enough to be photographed as it was so tasty. Their burgers are large and cooked just the way we ordered - rare. The beef is high quality so it cooked up nicely and was very tasty. Tender, flavorful, what more could I ask for in a burger? Nothing. It was perfect! We returned to try their House Grinder Burger. It was also amazing and worth the price. This restaurant knows how to please their clientele. IDAHO FALLS DINING VARIETY CHALLENGE: Having recently moved here from Boise, we realize the variety of dining opportunities could be smaller. We hope to show there are many 4-5 star restaurants of various cuisines to be enjoyed as we experience them ourselves. STEAK, BURGERS, AMERICAN: They've shortened their hours to be only late lunch, when we asked, we were told they can't get enough people at the moment. Still, the burgers are fantastic, the ambience is pretty nice, and they have outdoor seating when it is warm enough, so our older puppy was welcome. The servings are large (for us), we each ordered their Prime burger, and enjoyed it, but feel we will split one the next time, and have an appetizer instead of a second burger. Was told 30-40 minute wait. After an hour the rude server told us it will be an other 20-30 minutes. He acted like it was our fault he cannot do his job and we were in the wrong for asking how long it will be. This is the second time this has happened. I would highly recommend avoiding this place like the plague unless you want to be treated like trash. The staff is rude and has no care of how paying customers are treated. I can't comment on the food because the service was so appalling we had to leave. We were seated outside on a very hot & sunny afternoon right away which sounded perfect because the hostess offered to set up an umbrella. After we were seated outside we quick realized that the umbrella was broken & shade would not be provided. I let the waitress know that someone in our group was on medication (chemotherapy) that is highly reactive to sunlight & that if we could not have shade we would need a table inside. Instead of being empathetic & accommodating to someone with a serious illness that cannot be in direct sunlight the waitress was so incredibly rude. She let us know that there would be a very long wait for an indoor table & do we want drinks. We let her know that the direct sunlight was an issue & no we would not like drinks she became even more aggressive . We left immediately. We would never go back. To humiliate a cancer patient is disgusting. read more

Absolutely love this place! We loved it so much we went for lunch and dinner while there on business. For dinner I had the blackened salmon salad which was fantastic. The salmon was cooked to perfection, flaky with wonderful flavor. For lunch I had the Rattlesnake Burger which had a nice kick of spice to it but not too overwhelming, just right. The fries and fry sauce were excellent as well. My co-worker loved the Hoback Chicken sandwhich so much she had it twice and couldn't stop talking about how great the chicken was! Terrible ! We ( found out later ) that we had a new trainee in the kitchen. The burger came out well done very overcooked and just a terrible low end burger and patty. ( it was a hockey puck). The management did not care, for $30 for a hamburger and extra if you want fry sauce, we suggest someplace else. Food was cold. Placed a take out. Was told 25 minutes because they were busy. Figured I would give the benefit of the doubt and showed up after 35 minutes. Even then I was told it would be another 15 minutes. I stood there and waited another 22 minutes until my food was given to me. Got it to the car which was just outside the door opened the box and everything was cold. Like bad cold. They also false advertise online with the price of the food. Nice atmosphere. I had a Hot Chicken salad. It was suppose to come with roasted vegetables - vegetables were only red onions and mushrooms and they were completely raw. The sun dried tomato salad dressing was a paste. I had to ask for something else to get the dry salad down. Menu said it came with tomatoes but I had to search far and wide for them. We we're driving through town and decided to stop by here for a quick lunch. They said the wait was about 30 minutes but we only had to wait 20. After we were seated we ordered drinks and right after we ordered food. I got the Rocky Mountain Burger with onion rings. The burger was a bit bland but the toppings made it a decent burger but the onion rings were delicious! They had a good batter and the onion didn't fall out for the coating which is a common problem. Rude staff , small salads . Asked for a salad , paid $8.25 and got smaller than a side salad . Moreover they didn't agree to switch a dish or upgrade to a bigger salad. If you don't like bad rude service and kids side salads - don't let the snake bite you!! They do NOT care , bitter and will make sure to turn your positive vibe to a negative vibe .
