I called in and was told there was nothing they could do unless I returned the sandwich the same day. When I tried to wipe off the excess mayo it removed the bacon and lettuce. I could would have preferred to come back the following day but was told that was not allowed.

Let me start by saying I'm writing this for on my boyfriends account. Anyway we went there for our one year anniversary and while we were expecting it to be a little more "fancy" it still seemed pretty nice. He ordered the grand teton burger and it was excellent. The patty was delicious and perfectly cooked. I ordered the sirloin steak as rare as they could make it. It was good and really juicy and tasty, but it was overcooked. My boyfriend agreed that it looked closer to medium than rare. When the waitress came back to check on us, she asked if it was over cooked and i said it was and asked if it was possible to get it rarer and she said it was. I apologized for sending it back, i mean i used to work in the food biz and it sucks and i didnt want to be high maintenance. So she brought out my new one and while it was the perfect shade of pink it was cold. I told her this and she got really annoyed and said "i dont know what you want me to do!" And started explaining their whole meat cooking processand how getting the color i wanted was impossible even through earlier she said it was. Basically she decided to make me feel like a child. I'm guessing she had a bad day or something, but i tried to be polite and she was pretty abrasive. So my boyfriend requested to have a manager assist us. He was very polite and eager to fix things but he also kept interrupting me. I was so embarrassed having to ask if i could finish what i was saying. The wholething was so upsetting i started to cry right out in public like an idiot. Anyway he did fix it, which was nice of him but by then our evening was ruined. They were nice enough to take my steak of the tab, which we appreciated but I've never been so poorly treated at a restaurant. read more

A family run cash/check only place with their secrets in recipe, I decided on their 7 Seas Special with mussels, clams and scallops, my wife had the fish tacos both by Kayla's excellent recommendation/waitering skills and everything was sublime. This meal was undoubtedly top three of the best meals I have ever consumed. Started out with a light and extremely flavorful clam chowder followed by a perfectly spicy main dish. (There was a sprinkle of cheese on top but there could have been none and would have been a glorious meal). We will assuredly be back. Oh! and the draft beer selection, best I have yet to see in Idaho Falls for a restaurant focused establishment. I quickly downed a Zonker Stout and worked my way through a 208 Session with the main course (seriously, if you like spicy, the flavor in this dish cannot be matched, if you don't thoroughly enjoy spicy I would grab something else and dabble your partner's plate). For my first time here, this place scores on the extended scale with a 6 out of 5. Will be back soon for their burgers and steaks. read more

If I could give negative stars for this restaurant, I would. I would NEVER recommend nor return to the Snake Bite. Upon arrival we were instantly met with a very rude unpleasant waitress, never greeted when we arrived and she was so ignorant, we were actually taken back how unfriendly she was. She threw the straws and drink menu down and walked off without saying a word to us. After looking over the menu, and deciding what we wanted to eat; I asked her to hold the tomatoes off the burger due to an allergy, and said they don't modify their food, "company policy". I then asked for the manager for some clarity and was told there wasn't one today. Felt stuck and a hands tied moment. I said well this is ridiculous and was told I "needed better manners". Told her she was rude and the response was "you're rude". Got up and left. Local patron and will never eat there again. Thanks to the girl with the glasses. read more

I ordered the grilled portabella burger with avocado minus the cheese and mayo for a fantastic vegan option. It was delicious! Also had the waffle fries, no complaints there either.
