I love this place. The atmosphere is my ideal setting with tons of outdoor seating and a giant outdoor bar in the middle of a quaint neighborhood bursting with character. The inside is fun and pretty hipster as well. The burger is absolutely delicious. The craft beer selection is pretty good and I'll usually try one I haven't tried before. After hearing a lot about this place, we decided to check it out a few weeks ago on a sunny afternoon. As many have mentioned, the outdoor seating alone makes this place a must-go on a sunny day! Given our weather lately, on a sunny day, I think everyone was out, and it was quite crowded. We were lucky to get a seat at the outdoor bar. The bartender promptly got us menus and drinks. We both ordered salads - while mine (the quinoa salad) was good, I probably wouldn't order it again. I'll definitely try a sandwich or burger next time because they looked delicious! One of our favorite go to in the area. I've never had a bad meal here. They seriously have one of the best cheeseburgers in the area. Their one major downfall is seating if there is rain or in winter because a majority of seating is all outdoors however it's a great patio! read more

After reading reviews, went with moderate to high expectations. The patio does have a nice , neighborhood friendly atmosphere. Our waitress and the other staff that checked on us could not have been more pleasant. But the pimento cheese dip tasted more like a bad version of queso and the "warm" pita just tasted stale. Grilled cheese was a gooey mess of wasted, flavorless calories. Fries were nicely seasoned, but a bit of old grease taste as well. This place is honestly such a constant disappointment to me. I was so excited for it to open 2 or so years ago because it was within walking distance for us. We've been a handful of times. Each time we've waited enough time between visits for our last experience to have faded away, hoping that time would have improved both the food and the service. But alas, our hopes have been met with recurring disappointment. What we love about The Station is, of course, the outdoor bar and seating area. The food, on the whole, is just so underwhelming. The best thing I've had their was the Trio of Dips Sampler. If you're willing to forgo having an actual meal, or just stopped in for drinks, that's a winner. I've tried so many things, hopeful that I would find a few "go-to's" that I can count on. The Cuban Sandwich is the second worst Cuban I've ever had. The Roasted Vegetable Salad is just not good. I suppose it didn't help that, on that particular day, mine came out missing the cheese as well as the dressing. And far be it for me to have asked what may have been the surliest waitress ever to correct the absence of my dressing. That really just barely touches the surface of how infinitely unpleasant she was. To be fair, I don't think they set the bar high on service because it's always pretty sub par. But this particular server clearly had an axe to grind and was choosing her tables on which to work out those issues. I called The Station Saturday morning. Distracted, I said, "hey do you guys have like a brunch menu?" The man on the phone responded (in a valley girl voice to mimic mine, something I am self conscious about) "we do have, like, brunch." I was taken aback a little but continued to ask where I could find it online. Rather than answering my question, he started listing off the menu quickly. We went for a weekend brunch and weren't drinking alcohol, which clearly made us persona non grata for the waitstaff, despite the fact that the place was half empty. This was hands down the best brunch I have had in awhile, maybe ever. Food was incredible both in taste and presentation. Great local beer selection as well. Not only is it an awesome place with a great atmosphere, but the menu was very reasonably priced. I have become a regular at this great neighborhood restaurant and bar (even though I don't live in the neighborhood.) I love the menu and am slowly working my way through it. Whatever my mood, there is a food item to satisfy me. Along with pleasing menu, there is a great beer and wine selection and of course full bar. Service is always friendly and attentive and I love the vibe. Great patio with bar for warm weather and cozy inside for the winter. I went here with mediocre expectations, it was a neighborhood bar and grill, nothing too special...right? Whoa was I wrong! The food was absolutely phenomenal, the decor fun and comfortable with the outside round bar being the real show piece. That's not what will keep me coming back though, what has is the amazing service that I received. The waiter, his name was Ryan was on top of his game, always friendly and polite, always filling my drinks before they were halfway empty, and offering terrific food recommendations; I recommend the Salmon BLT or the bahn mi sandwich. Very good food! I had the dip sampler and it was fantastic! I needed more pita bread Because the servings were huge for a sampler. I had the black bean burger for my main meal and it was quite yummy but the bun was too hard. The fries were pretty good if you like potato wedges. The prices were reasonable as well. The food was fine, but it was November 30 and at night, it felt like the air conditioner was blasting at full throttle. I'm normally the type of guy that is too hot wherever I go so I requested to the bartender that they do something about it. She said she would try with the not so hopeful look on her face, A few minutes later the manager shows up wearing a full WINTER COAT to let her know what the temperature was fine. We like The Station because it is close to our house and offers outside seating. However, the main menu has not changed pretty much since it opened and the beer list pretty much sucks. I want to like it. The patio is really lovely which is where the second star comes from. But they have certainly had long enough to get the food right at this point and it just isn't happening. I thought the issues at the beginning (could NOT get a pickle on a burger OR a CUBAN because "theirs weren't ready") would settle out in time but I have visited at least four more times most recently a couple of weeks ago and remain under impressed. The Bahn Mi was pure grease. I've had and enjoyed Bahn Mi many times and this version tasted like a lard sandwich. I think I'm done. Though I will certainly visit for a drink again.
