Back again and right before a hockey game, go Kraken! Beautifully prepared, delicious rolls that hit the spot! Love their creativity!!!

This eatery has an all-vegan jam-packed menu! The owners were very nice and told us that they hand make their own vegan tuna, salmon and other fish substitutes with carrots, soy and a rue of spices and sauces. What was even more fun was that they had a cat robot that served your meal! See the cat robot and my review of other vegan restaurants in Seattle in this blog article: https://www.deannatroytravels.com/post/vegan-food-in-seattle-washington

This place is 100% vegan and was the best sushi I've ever had. The crispy shrimp roll and dragon roll were my favorites. My boyfriend and I came here for his birthday and had a great time! The staff were really sweet. I recommend x1000.

LOVE THIS PLACE Vegetarian who lives in Seattle here and let me tell you this place is worth the visit. There are so many sushi shops around but if you have any restrictions with meat or are pregnant and not wanting to eat any or just looking for amazing vegetable based sushi this is for you. Everything is fantastic I recommend going for their special rolls or whatever your server recommends. It can be busy but is never too loud and they I do have a vendetta against the wobbly uncomfy furniture outside I still cannot take this down a star it is too good. Recommend the green goodness, habanero roll, red dragon, and the crusty crab!

I've never had Vegan sushi before. We've walked past this place a lot but never bothered to check it out until today. We were missing out. The inside has soft lighting with plenty of seating. They serve the food with a little robot. Service was phenomenal, they were so kind, checked up on us a lot and also had personalized conversations with multiple people dining in the restaurant. The sushi was so delicious. Great / similar texture of non vegan sushi. We ordered the geisha, spicy tuna, veggie and Queen Anne roll. 14 pieces total between two people. Queen Anne and geisha were definitely a table favorite. The roles were fairly large considering they didn't have a piece of fish in it. 10000% will be returning asap

Glad to have found a vegan sushi spot in Seattle. Never really enjoyed sushi being a vegetarian until today and now have the entire menu to pick from! Food was really good, service was also quick as not too busy on a weekday. We tried spring rolls, mango sake, Mr.Crabs - tempura roll, Maui and strawberry cheesecake . Everything was delicious and exceeded expectations! Will definitely revisit.

Excellent place. It's a small place so booking a reservation is not a bad idea. I went with a friend and we tried all the gluten free rolls. By the way this place is fully vegan. Everything is mocked fish. My favourites were Spicy Tuna, Seattle Roll and Yoga. All are gluten-free. I wouldn't recommend Mango Tango. The service was excellent. Very nice host and really passionate about the restaurant and its menu.

Vegan sushi. Looks like fish but it isn't! Incredible!

This sushi is delicious, very satisfying and I didn't miss the fish. Complex flavors, wonderful miso soup too. Great place for a birthday.

Love to see a 100% plant based sushi restaurant in Seattle! We know the city certainly could use the diversity. 5 stars for the creativity of making quality sushi without fish! That's true talent. Service was great. Restaurant is quaint. Fun casual vibe. Food was good but I think we ordered incorrectly for our likings. Everything had the vegan mayo which we quickly realized we do not like. We would love to come back and try all the other rolls with no mayo. As the sushi rolls were good!

Always love coming to vegan sushi places when we travel! The tempura fried one was the best but they have so many options! There is indoor and outdoor seating so perfect for the summer time! Food came quickly and in a nice area! Staff was friendly!

The food here is always a hit! Me and my family were introduced to this restaurant through one of my sisters' friends and i can say without a doubt that it is the best vegan sushi i've had in my life. All the flavors are well balanced and you can tell that quality ingredients went into the food. Additionally, i love the cozy nature of the restaurant itself and the service is phenomenal. The folks who work there are so kind, open and will give the best suggestions! If you're ever in the Queen Anne area or Seattle in general i sincerely highly recommend you check this place out!

Came around 8pm on a weekend. Parking was really easy with free street parking. The shop is pretty small so it was completely packed. We waited about 5min for a table as it was getting late. Menu is very extensive so we did take a bit to order after being seated. Served wasand food came after 20min from ordering. 7/10 Ring of Fire $10.24 6pc - just meh, little below real sushi compared to grocery store sushi. 9/10 Katana $15.99 8pc - very solid! Texture and taste both were excellent and quite comparable to good real sushi 7/10 Crunchy Salmon $11.99 6pc - similar sentiment as ring of fire. Nothing really stood out in a good or bad way. 10/10 Dragon $16.99 8pc - amazing! The top replicated seared salmon/fish taste and the sauce is the same as the unagi sauce which was so good!! Must get! Overall expensive but good spot considering it is vegan. QR Menu: https://www.foodbooking.com/ordering/restaurant/menu?restaurant_uid=c50e807b-eaed-479a-b270-64953afe4598&dine_in=true

We went to Sushi Samurai on a Friday evening. Their full menu is vegan. All the sushi we ordered were flavorful. The service was friendly. It is small restaurant in queen anne neighborhood. Please make a reservation before you go.

Overall, it was worth trying out if you haven't been here. Definitely more affordable than the omakases at other places.

The way they worded this really rubbed me the wrong way. First, I've never been give a time limit at a restaurant that was not all-you-can-eat. Second, the amount of time I spend in your restaurant heavily depends on the speed of your service (spoiler alert: it was not fast). They then sat us at the most uncomfortable table I have ever had the displeasure of dining at. The table was low and the seats were so deep that I could not rest my back on them while eating. Definitely brought the mood down further. Food was a hit or a miss, no in between. Hit: Garlic short ribs (my partner said these were tender and a good portion for happy hour), Poke sushi roll (good fish quality and taste) Misses: First Ave Roll (sauce was just walloped on top, weak flavors), veggie and shrimp tempura (heavy and soggy batter), pink lychee cooler (artificially sweet with no strong lychee flavor), green tea tiramisu (photo speaks for itself). For all the rave reviews, I was pretty let down. Thankfully, we went during happy hour so we didn't pay full price. I would not visit here again.

Moonraker was one of the rolls we got. I highly recommend it! In addition to that we got an order of the Spicy Tofu... again delicious and made an excellent side with our sushi! I got a hard alcohol I wasn't used to getting. It was fun and it was quite good! It was Shochu which is a distilled beverage and involves sweet potato. If memory serves I got the one with sweet potato and pear. Very different but very good. It had a nice dryness to it. To wrap it all up we got some deep fried mochi ice cream. It held up nicely to being a great finish to a very high quality meal. We are definitely coming back!

We made a reservation for dinner but they only had the tables available, not the bar. The inside is really nicely laid out and our table was in a side where we could see the sushi chefs preparing the pieces. We even saw Chef Kashiba himself while we were there! We of course got the omakase, which was a total of 22 pieces including non-sushi bites. The appetizer trio consisted of sashimi, bamboo, and a radish puree - while we loved the sashimi, the other two were just ok. The next course was a toro handroll which we thought was a bit odd since that usually comes later towards the end in omakase. The fish was fresh, but the seaweed was a little thick and chewy. Onto the next plate - 5 pieces of nigiri with my favorites being the otoro and sea bream. Special shoutout to the albacore as well (I've never had albacore so soft!). After this one, the 6 piece nigiri were a hit or miss - while I LOVED the kanpachi (probably my favorite piece of the night), some of the seared ones didn't feel that fresh or flavorful. We then got the chawanmushi which I actually really loved, and I'm thankful they were able to substitute the shrimp with rockfish for my allergy. Finally, for the dessert course we got some miso soup, a fried anago nigiri, and for me oranges (instead of the egg due to my shrimp allergy). I did think it was odd to get miso soup last, but the anago was really good and the oranges were nice and fresh. Overall, there were definitely some standout pieces (kanpachi, toro, and chawanmushi) but the overall omakase experience felt a little disjointed. I'm glad to have finally tried this spot though - the location is beautiful and definitely still worth a visit for the legacy!
