I LOVE THE TABLE!!! I have gone EVERY SATURDAY MORNING for the past 4 weeks now :) So far I've had the lluevos rancheros, fried chicken tartine, pork sandwich, corned beef hash... ALL OF IT was SOOO GOOD!!! They greet you with a smile, they answer any questions you have and make suggestions. BOTTOMLESS MIMOSAS FOR $8 ..can't beat that! AND its good! This review is only for drinks! My friend decided to host her birthday celebration here and we all came for drinks. Easy access to the bar and the service was spot on. There wasn't a lot of space or any tables available so I asked if we could just hang around in an open corner in the patio and that was sufficient. Overall, drinks were good, pretty strong and service was quick! read more

Visited The Table for brunch and also for the Silicon Valley Restaurant Week :) The decor is easy, vibrant and very hipster and rustic-modern, which I like a lot. There is a long communal table, good for a big group. Brunch: We didn't wait, but we were kind of early (like 10:30). Ordered French Toast, Fried Chicken with cheddar biscuit, and bitter sweet hot chocolate. The hot chocolate is actually just European drinking chocolate. French Toast has a big portion! I thought the toast is bigger than the usual toast... Friend Chicken is amazing! The portion is smaller, but just right for us! Crispy and flavorful with the biscuit! ESPECIALLY LOVE THE WEDGE POTATO. The perfect potatoes. Mimosa looks delicious, but I was the driving so :P Dinner: Very packed for a Friday night?? We arrived at 5:15, and it was almost full! Bar was super busy, seems like a popular place for a Friday night out. Brunch time at The Table is an absolute must on the weekends. It's actually the ONLY time they have brunch available, and it has yet to be disappointing the past few times I've gone. If you're looking for a fancy brunch date, or just want to sit around and chat up with old pals, then you can't beat the ambience here. The decor is very rustic, and the wide windows brings in great natural lighting that makes the entire place feel very welcoming. You have a choice of choosing to sit at a wide communal table with other guests (think Harry Potter's Great Hall, although not as grand of course), or having your own table for your party. We usually just buy a bunch of dishes and share amongst ourselves. My go-to is the fried chicken and cheddar cheese biscuit that come with their excellent crispy potato wedges. The dish looks small, but don't be fooled - it's quite filling. For dessert, we usually get their beignets or their pancakes, both of which are fantastic for topping off the meal. For someone who brunches frequently, I'm really surprised that I had never even heard of the table. The Chilaquiles were amazing. Great portion and flavors with tender meat. My boyfriend had the fried chicken which I thought was good but not great. Our server was really nice and very excited for us to try our meals as they said that they were popular dishes and his favorites. Came here on a Sunday with my bf at around 1 p.m. and was seated immediately at the bar area facing the kitchen. It was quite packed, but we were attended to immediately! I was recommended to try the Corned Beef and Hash and my bf got the Eggs Benedict along with coffee. The food came out in probably around 15 minutes and it was delicious!! The beef wasn't too dry, and the eggs were fried perfectly! You know that moment where you poke the egg yolk and it just bursts out perfectly? Yup. The Corned Beef and Hash came with a side of fresh fruits as well! The portions are just the right amount I would say too. My bf and I left satisfied and not like we needed to have someone roll us out of the door. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place though the place isn't that big so seating is a little limited. A nice place for 2 to eat if you have time to kill. The decor is nice in its understated home look. The space is cramped though with the amount of tables and the bar. If your table is next to the bar be prepared to be rubbing elbows with some butts, literally. The food was good, but the portions was tiny for everything except the burger, which was normal sized. It took almost an hour to get a seat for 4 on a Sunday and then it took almost as long to get ordered and fed. I can see 2 at the bar getting much faster service here. All in all I only recommend this place on a day with no plans. read more

A perfect place for brunch! The wait wasn't very long and the service was great. The restaurant has huge windows so there's great lighting inside. There's also a bar with a large tv so we were able to catch parts of different games from our table. I shared the french toast and chilaquiles with a friend and was very content afterwards. The french toast was topped with some strawberry compote and dusted with some sugar. The chilaquiles came with 2 poached eggs which were perfectly runny over the tortilla chips. It could have used more avocado though! Best part about brunch is their BOTTOMLESS MIMOSAS!!! They are very generous with refilling your glass which could potentially be very dangerous. I've tried the Table when it first opened and I thought it was just alright; it was just another standard modern American affair without any notable dishes. Since then, a few of my friends have started to grow very fond of the Table and have started to go back on numerous occasion. Few weeks ago, I decided to give the Table another try in hopes that it has improved since its first opening. Unfortunately, I still found it to be mediocre. We had a big party so we had a chance to order pretty much everything on the menu. The best part of the meal was probably the free epi bread at the beginning of the meal. haha. I got to try the following: bone marrow: slightly beef tasting butter? meh sunflower risotto: it's literally risotto flavored sunflowers. I was expecting the reverse. meh braised beef: it was very tender but had very little flavor. meh. NY steak: this was my personal order. I keep telling myself to never get steak at a non-steakhouse restaurant but I never learn. The servers always say the steak is delicious but it's always disappointing... I got it medium rare and it came out more medium. It wasn't cooked consistently through as if it half of the steak was cooked on a hotter surface than the other. All in all, I wasn't really impressed with the meal. I won't mind going back but I personally won't suggest it as the restaurant of choice for the night. Side note: If you're organizing a party, make sure you make very clear "The Table" is the name of the restaurant and not a table at another restaurant. This confused multiple people in my group and they actually ended up at the wrong restaurant. I hope you learn from my mistake. read more

Love the place! ... for breakfast. For dinner, not so much. After the hype of The Table, my husband and I finally got around to getting some breakfast. Make sure to be prepared for a wait as there always is one on the weekends. We ordered a softshell crab kimchi benedict and this amazing special of the day omelette that I can't remember the name of. The problem though, happened a couple months later when we realized we had pretty much eaten the whole, small, limited menu. And, their special of the days weren't always consistently good. Dinner is just really overpriced for what it really is. The beef cheeks were pretty good but heavy for a whole meal and the liver pate was nothing to write home about either. And seriously, could we get a cup of water? Please? Even after asking, nothing? We probably will be returning for brunch some weekend, but I don't think the place lives up to the hype. read more

Definitely a fan and have come back a couple of times now. My boyfriend and I tend to come here on date nights just because the environment is exactly what we want: something a bit more laid back with awesome food. Sometimes you don't want to have to dress up to get some good eats. For us, we tend to always reorder the beet salad and the bone marrow. Beet salad has always been so fresh and it just sings as an opener. The bone marrow is cooked to perfection (really though, it's hard to find good bone marrow). This local spot is on a great corner with both open air bar setting as well as formal in door. Friendly and welcoming staff made us feel right at home. Our Bartender/Waiter was charming and interactive. Loved his French Irish drawl. He made a wonderful bloody Mary which we enjoyed with beignets w/ homemade lemon curd. We came here on New Year's Eve with another couple, and ordered the chicken liver pate, scotch egg, and bone marrow as an appetizer. I really enjoyed the scotch egg and bone marrow but chicken liver really isn't my thing, no matter how smooth it is. The bread that was brought out could've been warmer but the cheese n olive oil spread was a nice touch. I ordered the veal shank, and hubby got the cheeks. I thought both was alright but not exceptional. Service was ok. Overall a good experience but I'm curious to see if brunch is a better and tastier meal. read more

I came here once with a big group for brunch and had potatoes and dry toast while my friends feasted because those were the only dishes the waiter said were vegan. Needless to say, I didn't think I'd ever be back. Fast forward to yesterday when we noticed The Table was serving The Impossible Burger! WHA?? I scoped out the online menu but the only description was "meatless burger for meat lovers". Soooo, I called ahead to ask how it was prepared, and guess what, I was told "it's 100% vegan". Hell yeah! To be sure, I even asked if the bun was vegan and served sans dairy sauce and cheese. "Nope, ALL vegan" was the response. Awesome, The Table is listening to their customers for more veg options! Reservation set. We arrived a little early to get a great cocktail and beer. Very nice bartenders and even better cocktails. Lighting was romantic and we were getting excited to eat. The hostess came and showed us to our table and we were immediately greeted by our server. She told us the specials (No vegan specials) and asked if we had allergies or diet restrictions. "Actually, we're both vegan and came for the Impossible Burger." No problem, she said, "we can take the cheese and bun off and take off the sauce too". What. Womp womp NOT VEGAN. So we had lettuce wrapped burgers, which were really good even without the carbs. Luckily, our server also gave us recommendations for veganizing appetizers! We had the shishito peppers without dairy and the charred broccolini without dressing. Both were outstanding and full of flavor. She even had her crew give us olive oil without ricotta for our bread. Date night was saved! And with servers like Manasa, we'll be back with our stubborn carnist relatives or even another date night for veggies and Impossible Wraps. The Table has a great menu and fantastic cocktails. Make sure to dive into their appetizers, because I feel that's where the chef is most adventurous. My only critique centers around the service. While it is clear that the staff is capable and actually care about the level of service, they sometimes seem a bit overwhelmed. This sometimes leads to what feels like delayed service and a lack of attention to the finer details. My wife and I enjoyed a date night last night, and we chose to go to The Table for our dinner. We'd walked by the outside a few times, and the patio outside looked really nice. Plus, my wife had heard it was good from some others. We arrived 30 minutes earlier than our reservation time, but that was no problem -- they seated us right away We started with drinks. I try the Old Fashioned every place I go, so the choice was easy for me. My wife decided to try the Punch (that wasn't the actual name -- I forget exactly what it was, but it was an alcoholic punch). Both drinks were excellent! My wife said my Old Fashioned was a little too strong for her, but I thought it was just right. They use a nice bourbon, and nice dark cherries. For food, my wife got the burger, and I got the steak. My wife's burger was awesome! Very tasty, and large. It came with some potato wedges which were quite tasty. My steak came, and it was cooked right, but the more I ate it, the less I cared for it. It just didn't taste right to me. I actually got half way into it when I realized that I just didn't like it at all, so I stopped eating it, and started "helping" my wife eat her burger. It was, after all, large, and she is a small lady. I just couldn't stand to see her suffer through a burger that large all on her own. As dinner was winding down, the restaurant manager, Brian, came over to ask how everything was. I said things were good. He said that didn't sound very convincing, and proceeded to ask why that was. The half of a steak sitting there on my plate may have been a clue... I am not one to complain about things, but since he seemed determined to get to the bottom of this mystery, I confessed that I just did not care for the steak. He asked me if there was anything else on the menu he could bring me, and I said no, because I was full (from being so nice and generous in helping my wife). So, he said he was going to take the steak off the bill, simple as that. GREAT customer service! I did not expect this, nor did I ask for it. Very impressive. This place aims to please. I should also mention that our server, Faith, was very attentive and nice. In summary, my wife and I had a very good experience at The Table. We enjoyed everything about the visit, except for the steak. Next time we go back -- and we definitely will -- I'll be having the burger, and another Old Fashioned! read more

It included the duck mousse crostini, caramelized cauliflower, pancetta and eggs, pan roasted shrimp, new york steak, and tres leches. You could taste the freshness and Chef's love of cooking. However, the service was extremely slow. After they seated us no one came by to serve us until we finally said something about 15 minutes later. I ordered the chilaquiles and an iced coffee. The chilaquiles had essentially three bites worth of pulled pork, a couple slices of avocado, and the rest of the bowl was entirely soggy tortilla chips. The food runners or cooks I'm not sure who brings the food out, but they were very genuine and friendly. The flavor of the food and the serving temperature was right on. I had the Fried Chicken & Buttermilk Biscuits. I couldn't believe how great the flavors complimented each other. The chicken was so soft and juicy. The ambiance was casual and clean with outside seating. I would recommend this place to my friends and family. I will definitely go back.
