The ambiance and feel of the bar is very "sultry" and "intimate." The mood lighting, dark paneling/interiors paired with the bar itself being lit to be the center of attention, lends itself to the secretiveness and LURE that a modernized speakeasy would provide. I truly enjoy stepping foot into this little hidden, but NOT so hidden, gem (which can be accessed from the interior to Talay). Service can be slow at times - especially when they are busy. However, the staff is usually always gracious, helpful, and willing to serve. The few great mixologists I've met there have also been very willing to break down how they make their drinks and really give us a glimpse into their world. So, I'm appreciative of that. That is not something that you can always expect at bars. As for the drinks (and food I'll glaze over), I am usually not left disappointed. I appreciate that seasonally they play with their drink menu and introduce new cocktails. I also love a handful of their signature drinks on the menu. This may be the only bar I've had a drink with Aperol in it that I actually ENJOYED (and not tolerated). The pricing can get high depending on what you order, but for the area and the going rate of a night out, they hold their own. Definitely don't pop into Noir if you are looking for an AFFORDABLE cocktail experience because the tab will creep up on you. The food is OKAY. They share a kitchen with Talay and offer some items not on the Talay menu - which is nice. However, I rarely eat when I visit, so the few times I have, it's been okay. Nothing to truly brag home about. I am happy, though, that they did start offering food because in the very beginning (when they first opened), that was not an option. Anyways, Noir Bar is GREAT (to me)! I will keep coming here and recommending it to others. It's also great for a date night or night out with your friends. It's in a decent location - but please take heed of parking in this area, as it can be challenging to find FREE street parking. However, there is parking available all around and in various garages nearby.

I really appreciated the input about the drinks from the two individuals working behind the bar and I enjoyed both cocktails that I ordered. A few weeks later I decided to go back for their coffee. I met up with a friend and we had a lovely time. Their coffee was also delicious. If you're a fan of pistachio, you'll like Keral's Kulfi. Their food options are definitely limited, but I did enjoy their croissant. A word of warning to those visiting, the exterior of this plaza does not match the interior of this place. I also find that from the outside Luminescent almost looks closed when it is not. This place is definitely a hidden gem in the East Orlando area, and it's really one of the only "classy" bars you can go to without having to go all the way downtown.

Love the horror theme and they play horror movies on the TVs. Definitely a touristy kind of place. They have video games and specialty drinks. There are mocktales and shots, but really they taste about the same, super sweet. I loved there selection of craft beer in the cans and bottles. Definitely worth a visit if you are looking for a cool way to spend a few hours.

The crowd ( age range 25 - 35 mostly ) was genuinely engaged with one another. People were actually talking, actually present, not hunched over their phones. That alone felt invigorating. There was an undeniable spark in the room. Alfie's wasn't chasing trends; it was simply allowing them to emerge naturally. What impressed me most was how they brought it all together .. Retro stereo equipment and vinyl players from the 50s mixed with a bar area that's super sleek and modern. Conversations, music, the lounge itself .... all came together in a way that felt alive and IN THE MOMENT. When my LA friends visit, Alfie's is on the list. My one minor complaint was that we had not been there an excessive amount of time, but as we were checking out, we were informed we needed to leave because they needed our table in 5 minutes. They do not serve food at this establishment but you can order food or bring food in. It kind of works out because there is so much delicious food on the strip!
