The salads here are so good! Since it is really close to where I live, I have come here multiple times. The salad portions are also pretty big and sometimes I can't even finish it. They're loaded with flavor! I haven't been disappointed with anything I have ordered. Only downside is that it does take a while for them to get the food ready. I love to support local business and the Toss Up is such a healthy option in the Southbay. The restaurant is clean and modern with very friendly and helpful service, and they have ample parking considering the other restaurants in the center. I ordered a Chinese chicken salad wrap and a large broccoli cheddar soup. The wrap had very fresh vegetables and large chunks of chicken breast within. My only suggestion is that the salad dressing (that was delicious) was not uniformly in the wrap. I had some parts of the wrap replete with dressing and a ton of dressing on the ends. The broccoli cheddar soup was a little underwhelming and needed some salt. I think the soup needs more broccoli as well and the consistency was more like a chowder. When I added crackers to the soup, the flavor popped out. Overall this business has many different offerings including pasta and açaí bowls. The price was reasonable and I will return to try out other options. Perhaps I will get a side of dressing next time so that I can control the amount of dressing in the salad. They were closed at the time but we saw it was a salad place and we love a great salad. So we remembered this spot and drove back from Long Beach to Gardena to check it out. I ordered the Spaghetti and the Greek style salad. Everything is made to order not pre-packaged. I probably only waited 10 minutes and you can see your meals being prepared. Both were nice, large portions & reasonably priced in my opinion. The salad was so fresh with the perfect amount of dressing and tasty ingredients. A gentleman who seemed to be maybe the owner gave my boys a sweet treat before he explained the menu and also gave us a few samples of the juices. The menu looks large but after the gentleman explained it was quite simple. I ordered the Texas smokehouse salad but made it a wrap The buff n cluck as a wrap and the spaghetti and meatballs. Everything was excellent! The customer service, the cleanliness of the restaurant and the quality ingredients were a 10/10! I honestly don't like eating out much but you can tell with every bite how fresh the food is, it's as if I made it at home myself ( but better) I will definitely be back to try the other items in the menu! This a new place for salads. The place is clean. The staff is extremely helpful and nice. My cashier was Barry excellent customer service. The place is spacious with large booths. They have two big screen televisions on the wall that were playing sports. A worker came by and give us a sample of a strawberry smoothie and it was delicious. They do not just have salads they have baked potatoes that we're huge, soups, wraps lifestyle bowls and acai bowls. I can't wait to try something different the next time around. I only had one issue with my order I paid for extra salad dressing and did not get it. My bad for not checking I guess. I hope it's not some bomb homemade ranch then I'm gone be disappointed.
