Low lights: heavy handed on the seasonings. Fries had loads of grease and salt. Didn't eat them or take them home. The tomato bean soup was really spicy - even thought it isn't listed that way. Just ease up on the over seasoning. Bread had cold centers. High lights: Atmosphere! Burger was good. Cali T our waitress was very friendly and efficient...offered to replace the bread that came to the table cold. It's a casual dining place, but priced as fine dining. Most of the food is average. I dont think throwing a pizza down in front of my wife and myself on a cookie sheet is a good presentation. Calamari was bland and pretty tasteless. The last time I had a pizza that bad was when i was a kid and we bought those chef boyardee pizza kits. The pepperoni was deli bought sandwich pepperoni and the giant chunks of hungarian peppers cut on top didn't cook at all, they were raw. So that got sent back. They do have a decent bartender, but not even the best at that for the prices. I should have known it would be the same food as over at the vineyard. Only been there once as well. This place is one of my absolute favorite Italian restaurants! I've been here several times & have not been disappointed once. From appetizers to dessert, there's plenty to choose from. On our last visit we had the most delicious calamari appetizer I have ever had! Then, my husband ordered the Chilean Sea Bass for me & I ordered Short Ribs for him (we like to switch things up to keep things interesting. Haha). What happened?? We are frequent customers of The Twisted Olive. However, the last two visits left a lot to be desired. About a month ago, I took a friend here for lunch. When we walked in the hostess was on the phone and totally ignored us as we stood waiting to be seated. When we finally decided to say something, she said she was talking to her manager. Uh, I would think the manager would want you to put the phone down and attend to your customers, but it was obvious we weren't a priority. Either way we could tell she was extremely irritated. Last evening, family was visiting from out of town and they wanted to try it. Two of us ordered the strip steak. That was probably the worst steak I've ever had and my sister was equally disappointed. It was extremely tough and very fatty. Should have been sent back but we didn't bother, though for the price we should have, and that's on us. Not sure what's going on but I sure hope the issues are resolved soon. I've always had a wonderful experience here but these last two visits left much to be desired. read more

Very nice location and setting. Food, which was bar food quality, was grossly over priced. We had 2 cups of chipotle potato soup, 2 grilled chicken sandwiches, and 1 cheeseburger. My boyfriend and I sat at the upstairs bar for an early dinner. Service was excellent the two bartenders were on top of everything. Had the Brussels sprouts, meatballs in marinara, pizza and a wonderful grilled chicken salad. Each of the foods had perfect distinct flavors. We live very close to this restaurant and would love to love it. However, every time we've been here our water tastes like a cleaning chemical and the food quality has gone down hill. It's sad. It's a beautiful restaurant but we won't go back because of the reasons mentioned. Twisted Olive can do a lot better. I almost forgot about the credit card fee that we were charged without warning during our last visit. At the time, it wasn't mentioned in the menu and wasn't disclosed by our server. Regarding the response from the business about their state of the art water filtration system, I believe it. However, your glass washing method might be leaving sanitizer or other chemical in the glasses. It happened to me 3 different times (3 visits) and was mentioned to the management each time. They shrugged it off like I was crazy. After so many consecutive negative experiences, we won't go back. read more

Lovely Italian restaurant with a varied flavorful menu. We are outdoors on the patio, with beautiful views of the lake and fantastic service. My boyfriend's steak was slightly over cooked, and both the waitress Liz and the manager offered multiple times to cook another. Liz was very attentive and sweet. We were given complementary desserts and a gift card for our next visit! I have always enjoyed Gervasi and the Twisted Olive, but the service excellence displayed tonight has topped our expectations. Visiting my sister last fall, she insisted we had to eat at The Twisted Olive. Yelp reviews were decent, so I agreed. When we pulled up, I remarked that it looked a lot like Gervasi Vineyards (I wrote a not very nice Yelp review of them a few years ago.) My sister (remembering my gripes) sheepishly admitted it was the same ownership. Just like the sister restaurant, this place has amazing grounds and the design and decor of the building is gorgeous. I was amazed at the available seating and staff population. We started with three orders of Brussels Sprouts for our table of six. My sister insisted this wouldn't be enough. She was right. Our server explained in detail how they're prepared and I've tried to duplicate those delicious vegetables at home but I can't get them close enough. Delicious! Even if you wrongly believe you don't like Brussels Sprouts, give this version a try. We also shared a couple sides of meatballs-YUM! I had the Chipotle Potato soup and licked that bowl clean-so good! Loved the roll basket with herb butter. I tried to sample a little of everything at the table, pastas, burgers, seafood, everything was top notch. I can't remember what I had for a cocktail, but recall it being delicious and ordering a second...Bellini Meanie? Vodka Citrus Smash? There was no room for dessert, and i regret that. We had to ask twice for bread with our salad.. had to ask for more of our bottle of wine to be . what really shows that they are too big for where Britches is that when we asked for a different a taste of the wine which they sell by the glass ....which they use to give a taste to f their will be by the glass... we always buy a bottle. We come to this establishment every year for our anniversary because my wife has an intolerance to gluten and dairy. Last night she ordered the pasta special with gluten free noodles. First they put cheese on the top, next they did not include spinach, it was very bland and worst about 1/2 of the noodles were not cooked enough. Gluten free noodles take longer to cook and you have to constantly stir them to get them to cook properly. The cook needs to be retrained. We will not be back next year. read more

We ate a late lunch at the Twisted Olive after golfing at Chenoweth in Akron. My husband and I were in charge of reservations for this outing and scheduled the Twisted Olive for 6 of us on a Saturday in June, 2017 at 1:00 PM. Our discerning friends were THRILLED with our choice! We love Gervasi Vineyard and the Twisted Olive is affiliated with the winery. We were slightly early but were invited to the bar for a pre-meal appertif. I couldn't wait to have a glass of Zin Zin (Gervasi's amazing Zinfandel), but I was definitely tempted by the unique Bloody Mary list (a staple for Saturday-morning golfers). Strips of bacon flung sexily over the salty rim of a glass containing a sea of sunset-colored tomato juice reminded me of the red light district. The bar boasts a basil-infused vodka that conjures up all sorts of Italian day dreams. Our male counterparts enjoyed local beers while we explored. The lower level of the restaurant made me feel like I was in a speak-easy/lava-lounge. Pistachio-colored velvet pillows roost on matching curved cushions along two booths that line one wall (a perfect locale for people-watching)! The design of the lower bar area is decidedly masculine with large-screen TVs (tuned to various sports channels) and loads of heavy, earthy wood. To counteract the dim lights of the bar top one can overlook the meticulously landscaped grounds through a wall of windows. It must be spectacularly romantic here on a winter night! We ladies were summoned upstairs to be seated at a round table (perfectly suited to provide an intimate dining exerience for 3 couples). We were seated precisely at the time of our reservation. Our waiter Matt had "our sense of humor" and added even more merriment to our afternoon! Our party ordered several appetizers including the Risotto-Stuffed Peppers (the tomato sauce is ultra-spicy!), the Quartetto Italiano (individual jars of smoky hummus, pickled carrots/cucumbers, caprese salad, and olives), and crispy/sweet brussels sprouts. Each dish was artfully presented and delicious! One of our party requires a gluten-free diet. She ordered pizza... she is rarely able to order pizza at restaurants! The Twisted Olive's gluten-free menu varies little from the regular menu - they promote local, healthy foods!! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! Our party had eggplant meatballs, potato soup, Sicilian pizza, Americano pizza, chicken BLTs and we all shared! Each dish was more delicious than the last! SO MUCH food - we took left-overs home (yay!) Limoncello and a romantic stroll around the patio topped off my day. What an amazing experience!! Some friends and I met for dinner at Twisted Olive on a Saturday evening. From the moment I drove onto the property I was impressed. They have complimentary valet which I did not use but what a great feature. The interior layout and decor is beautiful and spacious with multiple levels and outdoor seating. The service was wonderful, Danielle was our server and she took very good care of us in providing recommendations for food and drink and making sure we had everything we needed. Now to the food. For the appetizer we had the Empanadas and Brussel sprouts both were amazing. For the entree I had the puff pastry meatloaf which was so good. Finally for dessert was the lemon brûlée cheesecake which was the perfect end to a very satisfying meal. I highly recommend this restaurant. read more

I think this restaurant is a great concept, and needs just a couple of tweaks to be absolutely outstanding. The ambience was great, 4+ stars there. It was dark when we got there, would have loved to have seen the place in the daytime. We did not have a reservation, and got there after six, so we could not be seated upstairs. We went downstairs to the bar area for first come, first serve seating, and there were several high tops still open and sat down. I'd give the service 4+ stars. Our server, Alex, was attentive, took us through the menu item by item, making recommendations along the way. He also noted that things could be customized, which was helpful. He made sure our needs were met throughout the meal. The bar was 4 stars. The martini was well made and they had a very good selection of liquors to choose from. I believe all their wines came from the Gervasi vineyard, which is an interesting idea, but might be a concern for those that know which wines they enjoy and want something specific, say from France. However, their Pinot Grigio, Lucello, was crisp and a good pairing for my meal. The beer list seemed to be varied. The food was 3+ stars. I thought the warm bread was great, soft and seasoned. My strawberry & brie salad was excellent. Fresh, crisp, and it was well paired. My entree, the Chicken Gnocchi Arrabbiata was labeled as a spicy dish. To be fair, my definition of spicy is hotter than most people. However, this dish did not come close to meet that criteria. It had it's moments, if I bit into a pepper with a bite of my chicken, but it seemed to walk up to a line that it was afraid to cross. And, it was a little on the bland side. It needed something, more herbs, more garlic, something. Be spicy, or be flavorful, but be one. My traveling companion had the meatloaf in the pasty shell. In this case, he said that it was in a sweet barbecue sauce. They tossed in some balsamic vinegar in the mix, but that didn't cut the sweetness. He thought it would have been better with tomato sauce instead. So two meals that came close, but did not quite deliver. The salad and the bread were the + in the 3+ stars. We did not try dessert, although the chocolate flourless cake the table next to us ordered looked really good and was eaten quickly. When I average out the grades (always giving more weight to food and service), this review rounds up to 4 stars. This is a place worth trying out, especially if you're staying near the Akron-Canton Airport and looking for a place to dine. There's a lot of potential, and I think they can get there. read more

Beautiful place nicely off the usual beaten path. We came here with friends last night for the second time in a month. Both times we were seated immediately at our designated time. The food was delicious both times. I'm a connoisseur of calamari and this is as good as you can get ! Prime Delmonico was spot on. Brussels sprouts, delicious. But the most impressive was the Caesar salad. The small was more than enough for two and I had mine with anchovies. Perfect amount of dressing. I couldn't stop eating it. Everyone's food was great. This place is awesome. The restaurant was actually someone's house which is crazy when you go in and think about it and look around the property. I started with the chipotle potato soup which was great. I could have had just a giant bowl of that and been happy. My main dish was the chicken Mediterranean pie (pizza) and that was great also. Made Reservations for a Birthday Dinner on a Tuesday Evening . The Restaurant is beautiful . It was packed at 6 pm. I had asked for a quiet Table and we were seated in a very nice Corner. Our Server was very friendly and cheerful. We ordered some Wine which was ok. Our Salads were nice and fresh. I had the panseared Scallops, delicious. My Husband had the Stripsteak, also very good. The first thing that jumped out to me about this place is the location. This place is tucked away down a long drive, and is very private. There is a very nice patio overlooking a nice green space. It is easy to see why this place was voted best outdoor dining in 2016. For dinner I had the twisted pizza, I can't say I was very impressed. It didn't really taste like the crust was done. Stopped in last night for dinner & was blown away by the venue. What was once someone's prior home (WOW! HUGE!) is now a restaurant tucked away in North Canton. Beautiful interior with bold paint choices, overstated fireplace and olive-colored accents throughout the restaurant. Our server immediately greeted us and brought waters while we chose wine. Yes, it's owned by Gervasi. Yes, Gervasi is not cheap (I've written a review about that). Unlike Gervasi, The Twisted Olive has plenty of space for patrons. You're not on top of other guests while waiting for a seat, at your seat, etc, so it's a much more enjoyable experience. We ordered a bottle of Tesoro which we loved and our server brought the most phenomenal rolls with garlicky butter. I don't eat many carbs these days, but I ate two and had to restrain from asking for more. I tried the spicy potato soup -oh my, I would've licked the bowl clean if it wasn't inappropriate. I could've just had a few bowls of that for my whole meal it was that tasty. The mustard croutons in it were to die for and I don't even like mustard! Our entrees were quick to come out and my husband chose the puffy pastry wrapped meatloaf and I opted for the side of meatballs. The side option is 3 meatballs in sauce (I chose the cream sauce with feta) instead of traditional red sauce. I feared it wouldn't be enough (just soup and a side of 3 meatballs) but I couldn't even finish the last meatball. The cream sauce was good paired with the feta -definitely something a little different. My husband said his mashed potatoes were amazing-he kept wanting me to taste them, but I refrained (again, I was 2 rolls in and trying to say no to carbs). He ate his entire gigantic portion of meatloaf, too. We passed on dessert even though the menu looked fantastic. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in town. Our server Brooke was awesome and made our meal great -just efficient, helpful at explaining the menu to new guests and making recommendations. This is my favorite place! After being away for awhile due to the pandemic, we visited yesterday. The price went up and the quality deteriorated. The service was excellent and sitting outside was delightful. Our salads were excellent: Strawberry & Brie , Apple & Fig. The hot bread and butter were soft, flavorful & warm. The rest was a major disappointment. The Pork and Chips and BBQUE sauce was subpar and this has always been one of my favorites. The beef tasted like a frozen food and the sauce was not tangy. The Chips did not taste homemade or right out of the oven; more like they were sitting around for awhile. The Brussel Sprouts were average . I remember them as being tastier due to the bacon and honey. They might have been over- baked also. Lastly, the wine ..... oh yes, the Wine! We had 4 glasses of wine at an above average price and the 4 glasses could have filled possibly 2 normal glasses. I have received more wine at Wine Tastings in restaurants and Vineyards! I will return to see if this trip was "just a bad day in the kitchen". This is a new restaurant however it's under ownership of a locally successful restaurant so some of the issues I saw I thought would've been 'lessons learned' from earlier. 1) upon arriving (Friday after NYD) at 11:15am, upon recommendation we requested 'Pub' seating. At that time we were informed since they were "short staffed" that the usually opened 12pm Pub would not open till 3pm BUT we could add our name to the list (again we arrived at 11:15 but asked if we wanted to put our name down for 3pm seating). 2) our group decided to sit at the bar and have starter drinks/apps - there were 4 of us - parents of young kids that we never get an adult night so we dropped our kids off at daycare to enjoy a leisurely adult lunch. While at the bar, a member of our group went to the hostess stand to ask for seating in the bar area (note this was 12:15) we were added to the wait list and said a booth in the bar would be ready at 1pm 3) at 12:45 we were told our seat was available, but it was 'express seating' and we had an hour to hour fifteen till the reservation would need our seat. Upon informing the hostess that we were in no hurry and that I didn't want a seat that was timed, he told me that there was no rush and technically we should've never been put on a wait list. We thanked him for our seat and told him since we had ordered apps at the bar we would finish them there before moving to our seat. Within a few minutes we were 'reminded' that our table was available...(yes we know) 4) the walkway to the restrooms smelled - like restrooms as soon as you hit the walkway. DO NOT sit in the seating by the restrooms. Even if they fix the smell, the sound of the hand dryers isn't complimentary to your wine. 5) the staff needs to congregate in areas outside where diners can see. I understand there was a big game the night before but 'fake punting' between the bar and main dining isn't really something that should be done. Also the huddles between the bar and the wall of bar area seating had about 5 servers hanging out, chatting, looking at phones, etc. my reco is have a place outside our eyes for them to go when not working. Besides all this, the drinks and food were EXCELLENT. I would return for that but I hope the kinks (i hope they are only this) get worked out. Maybe I expect a bit more as someone who doesn't go out for an adult dinner much, but I expected more hence why I went here versus a long list of other establishments on my 'mommy/daddy break day'. read more

It just breaks my heart. I want to like this place but they need some help. I usually give ma and pa places (non-chain, locally owned) a break but I've never been happy leaving here, or Gervasi for that matter. I've decided to give the servers a pass. The managers need to leave because obviously service is consistently horrendous. In the time it takes to get your food I could have gone to Giant Eagle waited in their long lines on a weekend and went back home. Then I could have started preparing a Beef Wellington gourmet meal in the time it took Twisted Olive to make one simple pepperoni pizza! The pizza is terrible. I know everyone wants local and non-gmo blah blah blah but I'd rather have Pizza Hut any day compared to their sad things. The only thing they have working in their favor is the atmosphere; but guess what? That's free, so if you like take your date there and sneak some food in and have a picnic on the lawn. It's places like this that really make me hate eating out. My own home cooking is 100x better and much cheaper. I dread the next time we're invited here again. The same group that created the ever expanding Gervasi Vineyards, developed this wonderful property, nestled in in woods of Boettler and Southgate Parks in Green, Ohio! There are so many positive things to say! They have two levels of both indoor and outdoor seating. Believe it or not, this is a remodeled former private residence, but we're not talking a bungalow here! It's huge! If you like Brussel sprouts, you will love their version! I have been here a bunch and never had anything even remotely average! The atmosphere upstairs is fairly formal. My wife and I booked the Four Seasons room at the Twisted Olive for Saturday, 2/18/17, for my father-in-law's 70th birthday party. Everything -- from the initial phone call to the booking to any follow ups to the actual day of the event -- was MAGNIFICENT in every respect. Twisted Olive in North Canton is part of Gervasi (Canton), which is also a magnificent venue. Because we had a total of 16 guests, all of us were able to order off of the menu vs. having 17 or more guests, which requires one of the buffet selections. Not only did all of our guests much prefer the menu option, but we also saved a good deal of money vs. the buffet. This is in no way a negative comment regarding the buffet options for 17 or more guests. The buffet options offered (I think there are 5 different ones) all have a very good selection of food. It was just that for our particular event, we preferred the menu option. For 4 hours we all enjoyed ourselves immensely in the Four Seasons room, a good-sized room with a lot of large windows that overlooks two giant ponds and provides access to a large outside deck. The weather was sunny and unusually warm for Feb 18th in Ohio (67 degrees!), so some of our guests took advantage of that and wandered out onto the giant deck for the warmth and the gorgeous view. Geese can be seen near the ponds, and there's no shortage of trees and landscape. It was truly a gorgeous day and the room with all of its large windows and outside deck was perfect for it. Now of course everyone reading this review wants to know...how was the food? Based on what our guests told us, it was fantastic. I know my wife (a chef) and I enjoyed our selections, and that includes 5 different appetizers we ordered. The beverages, appetizers, salads, and entrees were all brought out to us in a timely manner and hot appetizers and entrees were brought out hot. I should mention that because we booked the 12-4 slot (normally 11-3, but they accommodated our request for 12-4, which we really appreciated), we were given the lunch menu, which has a lot of great options. The dinner menu adds some menu items not on the lunch menu. My wife and I plan on returning soon for dinner because the dinner menu looks superb and we want to try the additional entrees. We truly had a fantastic and memorable experience at the Twisted Olive. Anyone looking for a great place to eat or considering hosting a party or other event should consider visiting the Twisted Olive and seeing for yourself what a magnificent restaurant this is. Even the grounds on which it is located are magnificent. It's a little out of the way but WELL WORTH the trip. Easiest way to get there from the north is I77 exit 118 south for about 15 minutes, or Shuffel st exit off I77, if coming from the south. It's right off Massillon Road. A special thanks to Ashley and Matt, both of whom coordinated with us prior to the event date, and to Janet and Matt (the main server), who provided 5-star service during the event and made the entire event flow smoothly. Tonight was my first visit to The Twisted Olive. I love the setting of the restaurant. I believe this building was formerly a house. The decor is very tasteful, the views are gorgeous, including a patio and a lake. Our waiter was very pleasant and attentive. The mint julep that two of us in our party ordered was terrible. Neither of us drank even half of it. I ordered a strawberry brie salad and crab cakes. It tasted good going down, but by the time I got to the parking lot my intestines were churning. We had to stop at a gas station on the way home. And I'm currently writing this review from my home bathroom. I normally eat a pretty clean diet - organic / non-GMO. The only thing I can think of is maybe there was pesticides on the vegetables I ate, or possibly GMO canola oil, or GMO corn starch that thickened the sauce that went with the crab cakes. Whatever it was, it was a pricey meal to flush down the toilet less than two hours after eating it. I will not be eating my leftovers, which I was looking forward to. Feeling very disappointed (and nauseous). Update: I checked with the others in our party, and no one else got sick. However, we were all in agreement that the quality of the food didn't measure up to the pricing. My husband described his pasta dish as "hard Giant Eagle pasta with even harder bits of bacon, tossed with a few peas, in a jarred cream sauce". The location is great, the setting is beautiful, and the staff was friendly and helpful. However, the food is ultimately what will bring you back and I don't think any of us are inclined to return. read more

We have eaten here a few times and each time the food has been very good except for our most recent visit. I had ordered the Pork Chop with green beans and mash potatoes, the pork chop was fantastic but while eating the green beans I found a hair, after looking through the rest of them with the mash potatoes I found two more hairs. I brought it to the servers attention and said I wasn't looking for a free meal as I did eat the pork chop before noticing the hair. He said he'd let someone know but that was the end of it, he should have offered to have new green beans and mash potatoes made since I was obviously not going to eat them with hair in it. I did also show him the hair and since I am bald it clearly wasn't from me. I had reached out to the restaurant via email but never heard back from them. Again we've had nothing but great food and service prior to this visit and I am disappointed their management didn't even respond. We don't mind paying a lot for good food but if it's not all edible then they should offer to recook or at least partially comp the dinner. read more

First time here and we were not disappointed. If you love Italian, you will love The Twisted Olive. Friendly staff and wonderful setting driving back to the restaurant from the highway. Being in the 90's we chose inside dining for dinner so when the temp gets better, we will try the outside. Our waiter(Mullins) was top notch and 5 star himself. Awesome Chipotle potato soup was a great start for me. Chopped wedge salad my wife ordered was huge and we ended up splitting it and still didn't finish it off.... The folded lasagna we both ordered was beyond words and was a very large portion and found it on it's way home for both of us what we didn't eat. We had to leave room for dessert and the warm berry cobbler was excellent. Well worth the drive and we will be back. Reservations a good choice to make. read more

The Good: reservations on the Open Table app made getting a table a breeze. Unfortunately all that was available was a 4:45, which is certainly no fault of theirs (and shows their popularity!). The property is beautiful, and the building itself was very old school cabin meets chic trendy 20 something designer. A nice bit of upscale and casual architecture at the same time. I thought it was well done. The Average: As the food goes, it was probably a little less tasty than I had expected, and prices just about where I thought they'd be. We picked a number of items just to try a bit of everything. First out were some pork balsamic barbecue and blue cheese meatballs. (Say that three times fast!). They were served on what the menu said was "toast", which really turned out to be very thin slices of an Italian bread that may have been toasted? Couldn't really tell. The two meatballs were cut in fours to fill the plate more, but it was pretty small regardless. I guess I was expecting hand rolled monsters, and instead got their little brother. No worries though, they were tasty, and well flavored. Next out was a seafood flatbread. Not my favorite. The flatbread was very thin and crispy (reminded me of dominos thin crust pizza). The shrimp was maybe the size of a dime, and were only one per piece. The sweet sauce and avocado reduction were both great flavors, but applied sparingly. For that price, I was hoping more bang for the buck. Again, good; but on the small side. Finally the Mac and Cheese arrived. This was probably my favorite dish. Well cooked pasta with several a cheeses, and a perfectly browned breadcrumb topping. The textures and flavors were wonderful together. This was also a decent sized portion, which would knock out hunger! Lastly we got a strawberry ice cream between two macadamia nut cookies. This is the only part where I can say there was a little of... The bad: the ice cream and cookies were both good, but they came to the table hard as a rock. As if they'd been in a deep freezer for hours. We literally had to chizzle at them just to break the surface. Finally, we realized we'd need to let them come up to temperature just to eat. Ten minutes later, we could finally dig in, but that's not what I expect from a Gervasi kitchen. You would think laying down a fresh cookie, scooping some Pav's in there, and topping it off with a second cookie would be easy. Apparently not so much. Overall this was a pleasant experience. If you're hungry, be careful in what you choose, as it seems like a lot of the dishes are more small plates than meals. Combine several and you'll be fine. The flavor profiles were outstanding, just lacked a little in the portion size in my personal opinion. Your mileage may certainly vary. Like any new business they have some kinks to work out, and I'll certainly give this place a second and third try. More than anything, it's nice to see a local family like the Swaldo's building quality, and locally owned destinations, that are both upscale and accessible. I look forward to a return visit in the near future. read more

I wish I could give this place a 3.5 because the food was good but not great, however the atmosphere was wonderful. I got the pork meatballs as an entree which comes served with 3 large meatballs in a dish which is the appropriate size for a reasonable entree. They were tender, flavorful, and the sauce was a nice tangy change up from the usual tomato based sauces. Frankly, I ordered that dish because other reviews stated it was an item that wouldn't disappoint. Prior to that I got the chopped wedge salad which was very good. The dinner rolls that come out are hard but taste good and come with a side of herbed butter. The waitress was wonderful and attentive. the food was a little less inspired than I was hoping for but another visit with different choices could move the needle on my opinion. read more
