Soo good!! Went with friends and we all got different stuff. The only complaint was the non alcoholic espresso martini. They said it was too sweet. My steak was delicious and perfectly cooked. My friend got avocado toast, another French toast and the other a sandwich. It was all delicious! I will be going back soon

Burger

Delicious burger- melts in your mouth and big portion . Hand cut crispy fries ! Can't wait to go back here and try something else. The ambiance inside is amazing

"Lush Pear" & "Gigi" - Cheers!

My first visit to The Union - after patronizing its stodgy predecessor "The Carltun" in the same location for years - went very well. We celebrated a birthday dinner on a frigid December night. Our server Despina greeted us warmly and even sang to the birthday "boy." Excellent friendly service throughout the meal. Complementary bread came with a nicely spiced olive oil dip, a perfect way to soak up our excellent cocktails. My "Lush Pear" was a nice mix of fresh fruit puree and vodka, served straight up in a coupe glass. Really excellent taste and quite potent as well. Tequila based "Gigi" was a perfect mix of tart and sweet. Partner's 24 ounce ribeye was tender, flavorful and perfectly cooked, in fact he said it was better than many he's enjoyed at famous steak places. Whipped potato and creamed spinach sides were delicious. My lamb chops were a bit overcooked, and the olive spinach side was very salty. Still a good dish but I'd probably go with something else next time. "Nightcap" dessert was decadent, comprised of ice cream, chocolate mousse and fresh whipped cream. The dessert would have been plenty for four diners, but that didn't stop the two of us from devouring it by ourselves :) The only snag was the crowded noisy bar area adjacent to the dining room. Perhaps the energetic noise level was due to festive groups enjoying the holiday season. No matter; all in all a great experience and I look forward to future visit(s).

A beautiful place and service was great. The ambience is perfect for the holiday season. Made reservations by calling them. We ordered a bunch of apps, drinks, and entrees. Tried the beef carpaccio (yum), petite raw tower (fan for the mother), duck taco (would pass), burger (heard it was good), picanha, lamb (yum if you like a fatty peice) and skirt steak (delicious). We also called to make sure we had chicken tenders and fries for the kid. The chicken was 3 tiny peices. Of the drinks, I loved the pear one martini one. It was delicious. For dessert, we had the chocolate cake, toffee pudding, and the midnight espresso martini. Dessert was a big disappointment. It was eh and the drinks was the worst. Avoid it unless you like to taste bad vodka. Overall, it was a great place to celebrate the December babies and the holidays.

I had been absolutely dying to come here since they opened. So when my mom wanted to go out for my birthday part 2 I was like lets go here! The decor is amazing and the food is amazing. I'd highly recommend this place. Service was also amazing. I'd call this now one of my favorite restaurants on the island.

Meals are great the two times we visited. It's a hidden gem nestled in the public golf course and Eisenhower county park. While there is no strict dress code, probably because of its location, the ambiance is classy (so you can dress up for ladies night out if you wish) and the service is top notched. The price is quite reasonable for the food and services. Plenty of parking in large golf/Eisenhower parking lots. When the weather is good, you can walk around before or after your meal. We enjoyed the spicy spaghetti and lobster pappardelle more than the pork chop this time. Definitely will be back again!

The ambiance is really nice especially for date night. They have a patio, which is a nice touch for once it gets warmer the food is delicious. Their sushi are fresh. The service was impeccable. I definitely recommend this gem.

Came here with my coworker to catch up, and it turned out to be a pretty great spot for it. We sat outside since the weather was perfect -- sunny, breezy, and just too nice to pass up. We didn't realize the place was actually tucked away in the park, but after a little wandering, we found it right by the golf course. Definitely worth noting if it's your first time visiting -- it's a bit hidden, but once you're there, the setting is really peaceful. They do have a happy hour, but just a heads-up: it's bar seating only, and by the time we arrived, the bar was already full. Still, we had no complaints -- the food and drinks were both solid. There were a lot of tempting options on the menu, so I'm already planning to come back and try more. It's a great little spot for a chill afternoon or low-key evening -- just maybe get there a bit earlier if you want to snag those happy hour deals.

The service at The Union was impeccable. Despina was our server. She was kind, attentive and very knowledgeable about the menu. I got the toro and jalapeño to start along with the calamari, both were tasty. The ribeye was incredibly flavorful and cooked perfectly. The chicken parm was also very tasty and hearty. The sticky toffee pudding was also good, accompanied with salted caramel ice cream. The restaurant was packed for a Saturday night!

Biscuits, deviled eggs, lobster bites, Shishito peppers!

Love coming to The Union, especially when it's warm and you can sit outside for brunch. Whether you're with a small group or a decent size group, the food here is amazing from the Lox flatbread to the deviled eggs, or the steak and eggs nothing disappoints. If you like shishito peppers I'd also try that as well. I can go on and on and compliment the biscuits and even the mini lobster rolls. Highly recommend for brunch. Service is always great.

Outdoor dining. Too quiet. Felt like an old country club. Recommend indoor dining.
Roselle R.

Beautiful entrance and indoor space. Contemporary, fresh and good vibe. Service was nice but the food was unfortunately nothing to write home about. It was promising but the culinary experience did not live up to its surroundings.

Crème brûlée

I have been seeing this place all over instagram and hearing great things about it. Usually I'm skeptical when every 'food influencer' is raving about a new and trendy spot, but this place was awesome. It's in Eisenhower park, parking is ample, but be forewarned-- I had a considerable walk from my car to the restaurant. The grounds are beautiful leading to the restaurant, and it shares its space with a members only club. For starters, we had meatballs (my friend ordered and enjoyed), slab bacon-amazing, and a strawberry feta salad. We each had a cocktail (I can't remember the name of mine), but they were all great! For an entree I had the breaded pork chop with artichoke which was very good, and my friends had the Picanhe steaks which were both great. We shared creamed spinach (yum!). For dessert, we split the key lime pie, crème brûlée, and tiramisu. All were great! Can't wait to come back!

Tito's Vodka tasting
Rachel T.

I attended an in-person training hosted by the Tito's Brand. We sat in a private room that was soo beautiful and ambient. The staff are attentive and friendly. The Espresso Martinis were perfect! The walkway leading up to the front door is well lit with beautiful vibrant landscaping. The Ladies Bathroom is soo clean and you feel like you're in a lavish hotel setting. The food was shared amongst 25 people. Chicken on skewer, salad, margherita pizza, potato's that looked like potato chips, sushi. It was a spectacular experience and look forward to returning in the near future.

I even received a rose for the occasion! However, we waited 10 minutes before someone finally approached us and asked, 'Is anyone helping you? Are you okay with tap water?' I understand it was a busy Valentine's Day weekend, but I expected a proper greeting rather than just being asked about tap water. When she brought the water, she asked if it was our first time. We said yes, expecting a brief explanation of the restaurant's concept. Instead, she just said, 'Technically, the meats will come to you, and you can go to the market and get anything you want. That's our special for tonight, you can go ahead and head over to the marketplace.' We went to the 'marketplace,' and it was delicious! We tried several items, and everything was tasty and fresh. Salads. Cold cuts. Rice. Beans. Zero complaints there. Back at the table, the gauchos began bringing the meats--filet mignon, picanha, sausage, bacon-wrapped steak, chicken, and lamb. Everything was cooked to perfection. The service, however, stayed subpar. My mango caipirinha arrived five minutes later, but my husband's Coke never showed up. We waited all dinner for it and never received it. Our waitress only came back once because we flagged her down for water, and then again for the check. Even the tables around us were wondering where she was. This was extremely disappointing!!! Zero smiles or a nice tone from Her. The food was delicious (5 stars), but the service she provided was definitely 0 stars. I want to come back for the food, but the service is making me think twice.

I got the petite marinated skirt steak which was about 7 oz and comes with peppers. Very good! Juicy and flavorful. My husband got the NY sirloin which was smoky and cooked a perfect medium rare. The steaks come with a choice of potato and we both got the mashed potatoes. They were good but not great. Not as garlicky or as flavorful as I was hoping. Then we were seated in the back corner by the kitchen. What followed was a parade of waitstaff bumping into me as they came and went, and an uncomfortable chair that made the meal harder to enjoy than it should have been. Location matters, and this one was a miss. The menu is focused -- if you're a steak purist, you'll appreciate the no-nonsense approach. If you're not, you may find yourself with limited options. The French onion soup to start was disappointing: overly salty and not the warm, rich opener a steakhouse should nail. Our table had mixed results with the mains too -- the ribs came out dry, and the skirt steak was so heavily marinated that the meat itself got lost entirely. That said, my ribeye was the bright spot of the evening -- cooked exactly as requested with a beautiful crust. When they get it right, they really get it right. Our server was attentive and genuinely great throughout, which kept the experience from falling further. A place with this much word of mouth should be more consistent. I wanted to love it. Maybe I just need a better table.

We were seated within 10 min of arriving, meanwhile there were probably 100 people in the foyer waiting. We sat in the bar area at a table. We came to celebrate my brother's birthday and he is part of their rewards program. On their website they advertise that you get a free app on your birthday however he never got the email with the coupon. When we explained this to Vilma the manager, she basically blamed it on corporate rules and would not budge on allowing the free app. First disappointing experience! Make sure you ask for peanuts or else they don't automatically bring them. I thought the portion size for the price was great. I had the 3 filet medallions with rice, a baked potato and Caesar salad. Steak was cooked medium, just how I ordered it. I wasn't a fan of the chicken tenders as they weren't crispy enough. The ribs were delicious and fell off the bone. We ordered the chocolate brownie with ice cream for dessert and wanted to sing to my brother. We waited 15 min for it to arrive. When Jef arrived with it, there was no ice cream on top and no candle to sing happy birthday. We were disappointed and Jef apologized saying they ran out of ice cream and he couldn't find the candles. He asked if we still wanted to dessert but didn't say it would be comped (since it wasn't what we originally ordered) so we declined. Overall, the food was pretty average. Portions are large! Their customer service skills are lacking, but it sounds like they have their hands tied with lots of corporate rules and regulations.

We were the only customers in the restaurant on a Saturday night, yet it took over 1 hour and 15 minutes to receive our food. Even then, at the 45-minute mark, only about 40% of our order arrived. For a party of six, our order was not particularly complicated: two burritos, two taco meals, a chicken sandwich, and guacamole with chips. The remainder of the order did not arrive until the 1.5-hour mark. To make matters worse, my son's meal was incorrect when it finally came out, adding even more delay and frustration to an already lengthy wait. Throughout the wait, there were no drink refills, no updates on our order, and little attention from the staff. We also received no napkins or serving utensils with our food and had to ask for basic items that should have been provided from the start. The dining experience itself lacked any atmosphere. There was no music playing and no television on, which only made the long wait feel even longer and more uncomfortable. As for the food, it was lackluster and underwhelming. Tortilla chips and fries were burned. Bun for chicken sandwich was not warmed. The dishes were very basic, with little presentation or attention to detail, and they certainly did not justify the extended wait. What made the experience especially confusing was that this all happened while we were the only customers in the restaurant on a Saturday night. A simple order, an empty dining room, no communication, no refills, an incorrect meal, and a 90-minute wait just didn't make sense. The only positive aspect was that the restaurant is dog-friendly. Otherwise, this was one of the most frustrating and puzzling dining experiences we've had in a long time.
