This chicken was probably stored in the freezer for very long time. It was tough and hard to chew. It was like eating shoe leather. Therefore I picked the chicken side of the my dish and did not eat. My kids and wife ordered ravioli, fettuccine alfredo and eggplant parmigiana and they were ok. We ordered pizza too because we were very hungry but may be I was already disappointed with my food, pizza was not that good either. But waiter was friendly. We visited on 06/24/2022. We ordered a 16" pizza with ground beef as a topping, chicken sandwich, and garlic bread. Eh... the garlic bread was good, but the chicken sandwich and pizza could be improved. Chicken tasted fibrous and pizza tasted somewhat bland. Also, the men's restroom was dark (there was one light bulb burned out, and the other very dim), and women's restroom had no soap. They should check their supply stocks. read more

This really should be a 4.5 review, because the food was DELICIOUS!! The scampi, pizza, garlic bread, and salads we've tried were great. However, they are EXPENSIVE. We paid over $120 for 4 meals. They were definitely great, but it seemed like a lot for the amount and type of food we received. It's high end restaurant prices for delivery, that bugs me just a little bit. But again, the food is really, really good and the delivery is fast. The prices wont stop me from coming here, but it will stop me from coming as much as I'd like to. read more

Tried this place when I was in town. Ordered the meat lovers pizza and the homemade meat lasagna. The pizza was a little on the greasy side and the topping was kinda lacking as I can literally count each topping nut the crust was excellent. The meat lasagna was just okay. Flavor was on the bland side as they just kinda mixed together and nothing stood out. They get a 4 just for the excellent crust and the cheese was on point as well. read more

Delicious and reasonable. The kids were in the mood for pizza and we picked the perfect spot. Every dish we ordered was freshly made and tasted wonderful. My kids had the personal margarita pizza and spaghetti with meatballs and both finished every bite. The personal pizza was straight out of the oven and obviously hand tossed. The meatballs on the spaghetti looked handmade and delicious! I ordered the Roma Linguine and ate every bite. The linguine tasted fresh, and the tomatoes, garlic, and basil were lightly tossed and perfectly balanced. My husband took a chance and ordered a grilled sandwich and was pleasantly surprised. The chicken was juicy and the sandwich was perfectly made. Overall, a wonderful dinner experience. The service is super friendly but there is a little bit of a wait. Almost went to pizza factory, because we couldn't find this place at night, the sign is not as bright as others, but if you see the smart and final sign just turn in and park, they share the same parking lot, but right in the front. We're so glad we actually found Upper Crust Pizza, they treated us like family and were completely willing to accept our unusual requests of having only 3 slices of cheese (for my daughter) and the rest with the toppings we picked out. I'm not sure how this place has 4 stars. Pizza Factory is way better. First of all, I'm staying across the street from the pizza place at Motel 6. I ordered a large pineapple pizza, half with jalapeños and a side order of six wings with bbq sauce. The pizza showed up nearly an hour later with no wings. The guy played dumb when I asked for my change. So I gave him 40 bucks for a large pizza before I even realized my wings were missing. I had to call Upper Crust to get my wings delivered after the pizza. Now my wings are cold. The pizza was poorly prepared with half pineapple and all jalapeños. Exact opposite of my order. The crust tasted under cooked. Jalapeños had an aluminum taste like they came from an old can. The wings on top of being cold, were a little on the skinny side. I had a disappointing experience here for the first time ever. I'm leaving this review in hopes it reaches someone who can make some changes. I placed my order of 5 chicken sandwiches online and received a confirmation that said to allow 45 mins for delivery. After over an hour I called to see if everything was ok. I was told my order had not been seen and that they would put it in now. Another hour passes, which indicates that we were given no priority even after the mistake was noticed, I call again and was told our order was just leaving to be delivered. About 15 mins later ( why? I don't know I live in town) it arrives, I pay $75 only for all us to open sandwiches with the bread so over toasted it hurt to eat them. read more

The waitress Yanira ruined my dinner. My two friends and I had just finished a day of snowboarding at Mammoth and were looking for a good place to eat. After telling Yanira I had a dairy allergy she became very short and rude with me. I wanted to order a sandwich and asked if there were any sauces that came on the sandwich. Yanira said that there wasn't. On the menu it says it comes with spicy mustard, pastrami and pickles (all ok for me), but to cover my bases I asked the question above and trusted her help me with my order. Big mistake. The sandwich came slathered in mayo. I also have an egg allergy that she did not give me enough time to tell her about, and I felt that I was being judged after telling her my first allergy. I let Yanira know I could not eat the sandwich and she aggressively took the plate from in front of me and sent it back to the kitchen. I was going to tell her that I would order something else so that they didn't have to remake it, but Yanira did not give me the chance. She took the sandwich and didn't look or speak to me. I tried to let her know that I didn't want it anymore and she said, " It's too late the kitchen is already remaking it." Then she rushed off. For the rest of the night she would be very nice to my friends at the table and would not look, face or talk to me. I asked to speak with her before I paid the bill. I apologized to her, and asked if I upset her or miscommunicated with her in anyway. To which she replied "What, you want me to apologize?". We exchanged a few more polite words but I finally realized that there was no getting through to her. I paid for my sandwich that I didn't want and left. She made me look like a fool in front of my friends I was dining with, judged me for the allergies I was born with and was outright rude for my entire meal. The food on the other hand contrary to Yanira's embarrassment for waitressing was very good. The wings are some of the best I've ever had. Went up to bishop for a night. Ordered some pizza and was disappointed with the giant chunks of tomato. It was technically my fault since I did not see the pizza had fresh tomato on it. However on top of the giant tomatoes there was a LOT of sauce all my toppings just keep falling off. This is a small town, so there's not a ton of vegan options, but they have a good veggie pizza here, Sierra Wave, that you can order with no cheese as the crust is dairy- and egg-free. Large is really big, can easily be split between 2-3 people. The crust is thick! read more

Wow. I just had the meat lasagne, and it is DELICIOUS! It is tomato-y, meaty, and cheesy. Not cheesy like stringy mozzarella cheesy, but full of ricotta. I ordered pickup at the window because covid. Other customers at the window were being a tiny bit difficult, but the staff remained gracious to everyone. The lasagne was still piping hot when I got back to my hotel room. We were visiting bishop, after a long day of fishing my husband and I were starving. We stopped into this place and there's a sign that says "wait to be seated" so we waited and waited, the staff would look at us and pretend like they didn't see us. There was all of maybe 4 tables in there already so it wasn't busy at all. Finally someone came over we asked if they were closing soon she said no so we got sat. After a while no one came to greet us so we left, I'm sure they were happy they didn't have to take another table. This traditional style pizza is near perfect! The crust has crunch, chew and flavor! The sauce is as good or better than any of the highly rated places I've been to in NYC, LA, or anywhere else (consider requesting extra). The cheese is good & ample, and the meatball topping was excellent! The long time manager is excellent at customer service! The only flaw this time is they left too much of the outter crust without any sauce, cheese, or topping. So next time I'm going to respectfully request for that adjustment. Below is my original review... Excellent pizza! Even better service by a guy going out of his way to make everything great! Medium thick crust was good, very tasty sauce (though I did need some extra on the side after I tasted the pizza since I like heavy sauce), plenty of cheese, meatball & mushroom toppings were really good and generous. They also have 4 pizza sizes with the largest being 19" - my adult son and I are big eaters and couldn't finish it. Great leftovers for next day. For a small town to have such good pizza and great service deserves 5 Stars! Btw, virtually everyone in Bishop we dealt with in our 5 day/4 night stay was excellent at customer service.
