But thought the food was amazing and maybe I was a little biased b/c we were starving after snowboarding all day. We shared the wings, garlic bread, and two pizzas (BBQ chicken, and the supreme one - forget the names). Everything was good! Keep in mind the Spicy BBQ wings were pretty spicy, I feel like I usually eat medium spicy so for those who was that kick def would recommend this. I think their toppings and sauce were okay - just average. But I will say their bread is really good - and this is what made the pizza so delicious, as such the garlic bread was sooo good and loved the tomato sauce it came with as well. read more

I ordered sausage mostaccioli $18. But came out with chicken. But I did not say anything But the real problem was the quality of chicken. This chicken was probably stored in the freezer for very long time. It was tough and hard to chew. It was like eating shoe leather. Therefore I picked the chicken side of the my dish and did not eat. My kids and wife ordered ravioli, fettuccine alfredo and eggplant parmigiana and they were ok. We ordered pizza too because we were very hungry but may be I was already disappointed with my food, pizza was not that good either. But waiter was friendly. We stumbled upon the upper crust pizza and we are so glad we did! We found a new favorite for when we pass thru bishop! Our waitress was so kind and friendly - even bringing out the kids meal early for our 3 year old, as a mom, I really appreciate the thoughtfulness. The garlic cheese bread was divine! The owner lady has a serious attitude. My friend and I went there about an hour before closing and the door was locked. We rattled the door to see if it was just stuck but the came up and curtly demanded "What you want!!!" We said we thought we wanted to eat here, are you still open? She stormed off clomping her high heels with pronounced steps to accentuate her irritation flung a chair open from a table across the room and stood there with the worst look on her face and hands on her hips. We looked at each other in disbelief and turned around and left. We surely would have come down with food poisoning that night if we ate there. Will never patronize that establishment ever. We visited on 06/24/2022. We ordered a 16" pizza with ground beef as a topping, chicken sandwich, and garlic bread. Eh... the garlic bread was good, but the chicken sandwich and pizza could be improved. Chicken tasted fibrous and pizza tasted somewhat bland. Also, the men's restroom was dark (there was one light bulb burned out, and the other very dim), and women's restroom had no soap. They should check their supply stocks. read more

This really should be a 4.5 review, because the food was DELICIOUS!! The scampi, pizza, garlic bread, and salads we've tried were great. However, they are EXPENSIVE. We paid over $120 for 4 meals. They were definitely great, but it seemed like a lot for the amount and type of food we received. It's high end restaurant prices for delivery, that bugs me just a little bit. But again, the food is really, really good and the delivery is fast. The prices wont stop me from coming here, but it will stop me from coming as much as I'd like to. read more

Tried this place when I was in town. Ordered the meat lovers pizza and the homemade meat lasagna. The pizza was a little on the greasy side and the topping was kinda lacking as I can literally count each topping nut the crust was excellent. The meat lasagna was just okay. Delicious and reasonable. The kids were in the mood for pizza and we picked the perfect spot. Every dish we ordered was freshly made and tasted wonderful. My kids had the personal margarita pizza and spaghetti with meatballs and both finished every bite. The personal pizza was straight out of the oven and obviously hand tossed. The meatballs on the spaghetti looked handmade and delicious! I ordered the Roma Linguine and ate every bite. The linguine tasted fresh, and the tomatoes, garlic, and basil were lightly tossed and perfectly balanced. My husband took a chance and ordered a grilled sandwich and was pleasantly surprised. The chicken was juicy and the sandwich was perfectly made. Overall, a wonderful dinner experience. The service is super friendly but there is a little bit of a wait. Almost went to pizza factory, because we couldn't find this place at night, the sign is not as bright as others, but if you see the smart and final sign just turn in and park, they share the same parking lot, but right in the front. We're so glad we actually found Upper Crust Pizza, they treated us like family and were completely willing to accept our unusual requests of having only 3 slices of cheese (for my daughter) and the rest with the toppings we picked out. Hard to get excited. I need to get used to paying more in towns that cater to out-of-towners. The pizza is priced the same as pizzas with meat. We all know the higher costs for protein. Fantastic customer service, not only from our waiter, but from all the other employees that we saw in there! It looks like they are trained well and work as a team! Pleasant, attentive, and a sense of humor! (Unlike other places around bishop) We ordered garlic bread with marinara and Alfredo sauce-Excellent! Not greasy and excellent flavor! Our pizzas were very flavorful also but don't remember what they were called. One was with olive oil, garlic, feta & tomato. The other was with marinara, sausage, and peppers. I'm not sure how this place has 4 stars. Pizza Factory is way better. First of all, I'm staying across the street from the pizza place at Motel 6. I ordered a large pineapple pizza, half with jalapeños and a side order of six wings with bbq sauce. The pizza showed up nearly an hour later with no wings. The guy played dumb when I asked for my change. So I gave him 40 bucks for a large pizza before I even realized my wings were missing. I had to call Upper Crust to get my wings delivered after the pizza. Now my wings are cold. The pizza was poorly prepared with half pineapple and all jalapeños. Exact opposite of my order. The crust tasted under cooked. Jalapeños had an aluminum taste like they came from an old can. The wings on top of being cold, were a little on the skinny side. I don't know about you but I like wings fat! Sadly to say I was not satisfied. read more

I had a disappointing experience here for the first time ever. I'm leaving this review in hopes it reaches someone who can make some changes. I placed my order of 5 chicken sandwiches online and received a confirmation that said to allow 45 mins for delivery. After over an hour I called to see if everything was ok. I was told my order had not been seen and that they would put it in now. Another hour passes, which indicates that we were given no priority even after the mistake was noticed, I call again and was told our order was just leaving to be delivered. About 15 mins later ( why? I don't know I live in town) it arrives, I pay $75 only for all us to open sandwiches with the bread so over toasted it hurt to eat them. read more

Hardly any meat in sandwiches but a lot of bread. It is not served in a nice hoagie style roll but instead from a french bread loaf or focaccia style (see pics). Therefore it was underwhelming. The small pizza was fine. Just fine. Lacking flavor in the dough and sauce. Small dinner salad with blue cheese was good. Plus it was very pricey for what you get. Poor value. Went up to bishop for a night. Ordered some pizza and was disappointed with the giant chunks of tomato. It was technically my fault since I did not see the pizza had fresh tomato on it. However on top of the giant tomatoes there was a LOT of sauce all my toppings just keep falling off. Crust was good, people seem pretty friendly (we had to go order) probably won't order again, but no hurt in trying ! Maybe you'll like their sauce and tomatoes! read more

The waitress Yanira ruined my dinner. My two friends and I had just finished a day of snowboarding at Mammoth and were looking for a good place to eat. After telling Yanira I had a dairy allergy she became very short and rude with me. I wanted to order a sandwich and asked if there were any sauces that came on the sandwich. Yanira said that there wasn't. On the menu it says it comes with spicy mustard, pastrami and pickles (all ok for me), but to cover my bases I asked the question above and trusted her help me with my order. Big mistake. The sandwich came slathered in mayo. I also have an egg allergy that she did not give me enough time to tell her about, and I felt that I was being judged after telling her my first allergy. I let Yanira know I could not eat the sandwich and she aggressively took the plate from in front of me and sent it back to the kitchen. I was going to tell her that I would order something else so that they didn't have to remake it, but Yanira did not give me the chance. She took the sandwich and didn't look or speak to me. I tried to let her know that I didn't want it anymore and she said, " It's too late the kitchen is already remaking it." Then she rushed off. For the rest of the night she would be very nice to my friends at the table and would not look, face or talk to me. I asked to speak with her before I paid the bill. I apologized to her, and asked if I upset her or miscommunicated with her in anyway. To which she replied "What, you want me to apologize?". We exchanged a few more polite words but I finally realized that there was no getting through to her. I paid for my sandwich that I didn't want and left. She made me look like a fool in front of my friends I was dining with, judged me for the allergies I was born with and was outright rude for my entire meal. The food on the other hand contrary to Yanira's embarrassment for waitressing was very good. The wings are some of the best I've ever had. This is a small town, so there's not a ton of vegan options, but they have a good veggie pizza here, Sierra Wave, that you can order with no cheese as the crust is dairy- and egg-free. Large is really big, can easily be split between 2-3 people. The crust is thick! read more

Everything was very reasonably priced and so good for a COVID hotel room dinner in a cute small town. Wow. I just had the meat lasagne, and it is DELICIOUS! It is tomato-y, meaty, and cheesy. Not cheesy like stringy mozzarella cheesy, but full of ricotta. I ordered pickup at the window because covid. Other customers at the window were being a tiny bit difficult, but the staff remained gracious to everyone. The lasagne was still piping hot when I got back to my hotel room.
