While currently experiencing a rough holiday season this year due to finances, being a new mom, and other struggles, I was not looking forward to going to UPS and paying for a service I needed to complete for a new job. Upon starting the process at UPS, there was some issues with the application my job had given me, which was resulting in me having to pay additional fees. I was very upset and wasn't being very nice to the two ladies at UPS, however, they continued to help me and provide excellent customer service. Seema showed extreme compassion and was able to help me complete the process without totally hurting my pockets. She made my day and as I was leaving, told me to "keep that smile going." I wouldn't have been smiling if it weren't for her. I believe the other girl's name was Sonny, who was also very sweet. This is a rating for UPS and this particular store. I went into the store to ship a recalled air fryer that came with a UPS return label. I didnt tape up the box because I wanted someone there to look at it and confirm that I had packed it right (turns out I did). But they would not tape it closed because it was "corporate policy." They would charge me $3 to tape the box shut. And it would cost me $10.68 to buy a roll of tape in the store (something that would cost $3 at the nearest Walmart). They greet me with a smile, even at the early hours of 7AM when I drop by to pick up items before the morning rush. They are polite, professional, kind, and courteous. I have visited this UPS store several times because it's convenient and everything goes smoothly whenever I'm there. However, on my last visit they went over and above to help me with a notarized document. I arrived a few minutes after closing time but I wasn't aware. Seewa (sp?) told me they were closed. I apologized and said I would return another day. She then said she would go ahead and take care of the notarization, which was very kind. She didn't have to do that and it was very much appreciated. We had a package to return, and a document to get notarized. We waited patiently for our turn while a customer ahead was being helped for a long time ( about 15 mins). When it was our turn to be helped, Seema took the return item. But refused to notarize our document until everybody behind us in the line was helped (the line had grown quite large by then). Ridiculous to see different treatment with different customers - our place in the line should've been acknowledged. read more

The staff here is always very helpful, although they seem a little disorganized. I called one day to ask if they did fingerprinting, the man on the phone said they did, and no appointment was needed. When I went in a couple weeks later the representative said I did need to make an appointment but accommodated me anyway. I usually have to wait in line awhile because they never seem to have enough people working. I also overheard a woman tell the other worker she had a budget for shipping and he told her the shipping cost of the usps if she preferred. The customer in front of me was also offered various shipping methods to save money, which they thanked him for. read more

We needed to ship critical and fragile sentimental items back east for a burial at Arlington National Cemetery. It was emotional and a little overwhelming as we weren't sure about the best methods. Once again I tried to come in to have something notarized. This is the 2nd time in the last few weeks that they ask me to either wait for 30 min or come back I'm an hour. I spoke with another UPS store and I was told that all employees are supposed to be notaries. This location does not understand service. Stop eating your lunch take a few minutes and take care of the customer. That is good customer service. This place doesn't get it. read more

I come in here all the time to make Amazon returns. I noticed it takes 5-10min max (even with nobody in line) at the store to get this simple task completed. I also noticed tons of people in the back just talking to each other and not really helping people who are in line. I used this UPS store to return a purchase I had made. A month later I realized the company never refunded me however by this time I lost my tracking number. A spoke with a very nice lady who was minutes from closing and she helped locate my tracking number through my name and phone number and give me details about the delivery date so I am able to contact the company with evidence for my refund!
