Unbelievable experience at this UPS location. I waited in line for a long time at the 5120 Hamner Ave store, and when it was finally my turn, I was met with zero greeting and a female employee whose disgusted expression made it clear I was unwelcome. I asked to print 100 flyers. She flatly said, "The machine's broken." I asked when it broke, when it would be fixed, or if I could print something else like business cards. She shrugged: "I don't know." When I pressed further, she claimed: "All UPS stores have suspended printing services." Really? Because I immediately drove to another UPS store nearby -- and guess what? They printed everything just fine. No issues at all. The staff there were warm and helpful -- the complete opposite. What really crossed the line: this woman had a smug, dismissive attitude toward me the entire time -- but then seconds later, flipped into smiling, chatty mode when talking to a male coworker. My 7-year-old daughter was watching all this and asked me, "Why is that lady so mean?" How do you explain that kind of behavior to a child? UPS, this is not just poor service -- this is unprofessional, manipulative, and reeks of something worse. This employee either lied to my face or had no clue what she was doing -- either way, she made sure I left the store frustrated, humiliated, and with zero help. Is this how UPS wants its customers treated? With contempt, misinformation, and what feels dangerously close to discrimination? Do better.

I called the store and asked if they do live scans and I was told yes. So my 9 students and myself went into the store for each of my students to get live scanned. At first I hit a brick wall when I was told they do not take credit cards for live scans but cash only as they had some problems in the past with charge backs. I plead my case, (BY NOT BEING A DICK) and asked if there was anything they could do. I was dealing with Karina, wait, Christina! THAT'S RIGHT lol. So Christina called the owner and asked if they would be willing to make an exception for me and thankfully the owners were willing to do so! Not only was I able to get all of my students live scanned but I printed all my necessary documents, brought in my laptop, hooked up my charger into their wall, connected to my mobile hotspot and submitted each of my students online applications while they were all being live scanned. The staff were AWESOME! Didn't question anything I was doing and just kept it moving while I did the same. Thank you very much to the owners of this store and thank you very very much Adrian, Chistine, Karina or Christina, or whatever flavor you wana be! You guys got stuff done! I cannot appreciate it enough! Thank again! Best Regards & Semper Fi !

Really bad experience here. I tried to be understanding as to why Rachel was being so rude. I get…read morethere is policies in place, but that shouldn't disregard kindness or compassion. Rachel was off to the side while about 4-5 of us waiting in line. She was busy boxing up what seemed to be orders. When the gentleman was doing back to back notaries, she hoped on the register to finally assist him. She didn't apologize for the wait or show any basic customer service skills at all towards anyone she rang through the register. I don't mind the wait but people were leaving behind me and others showing frustration its customary to at least thank guests for being patient or even acknowledge their presence. I finally get up to the front of the line and she says, "you can come over here" very displeased to be there or working. Then immediately follows that by telling me she will charge me due to the box not being taped. Again I understand policy, and every other UPS I have visted never gave me a hard time over less than 14 inches of tape. But it was the extreme lack of compassion and the rudeness that was so frustrating. I explained to her, okay I'll go back to my workplace I was working nearby and seal it up. Less than 12 minutes I return and she has me standing in line again. She was observing the line and telling customers they didn't have to wait for notary in the line so she could have observed my box not sealed and said something ahead of time as she felt confident to pull notary vists out of the line. She carelessly continued to say, "that's fine, that's fine!" I simply just wanted to share it was a bit frustrating waiting twice in line, and share my side of things, then dealing with someone completely rude, and how no other UPS has given me a hard time. I would have taken care of the customer or Again re-enforced the policy with compassion. The reviews I am reading about this location are exactly what my experience was:( I would recommend another location if you can or hope they can retrain her, or take some type of action. You never know what people are going through and the economy is tough rn, kindness goes a long way. I hope things get better for her if she was having a bad day, but you just can't take it out on people like that. I gave two stars even though she was very rude, truly unkind, and insanely strict, because I own the fact that the policy says to seal the box when you click on instructions, and that was a miss on my part, just never knew prior to visiting this store, and that the gentleman working did a great job with customers. Even returning customers in line were excited to see him, and knew his name, (think it was Nicholas) so shoutout to him for the customer empressions he made, and maintaining the long line. Also, called in to speak to customer service about the interaction and they were so polite and apologetic and I really appreciated that. I followed up with a positive survey for them. Will also buy a spare tape roll to keep in my trunk as now I am educated on the policy.

I walked in with my very pregnant self and my 3 boys under the age of ten. We had just done some Father's Day shopping at Boot Barn. I was told they would have Father's Day cards. Walked in and immediately was STARED down by the white old lady at shop. I get it. They have nice things and little kids aren't the safest. But not a freaking word from her. I asked if they had cards and she said, "where the kids are standing!" She was so annoyed by our presence. I didn't want to buy anything from her but my boys wanted to get their dad a crochet football and a card. Fine. We walked up to pay and my son noticed some little coins with crosses on them. He showed them to me and I said they were nice and he put them back. I paid in cash and said I didn't need a bag. She looked over the counter to make sure I put them in I know she wanted to make sure I didn't steal anything!!! She then proceeded to tell my 7 year old that the "tokens" weren't free. I was so confused...what was she talking about?!! She had my son open his hand. It was the CHANGE from the cash I had given her. Her face dropped and the, "so sorry's" started to come out. I didn't say a word. She needs some serious Jesus in her life. I nodded in disbelief. I'm too pregnant to fight with such a disgusting human. My boys were shocked she would think those things. Learning lesson for them about rude people and taking the high road. Shop will unfortunately not last with that terrible customer service.

I told them that I can't use the mugs as mugs, because they are made of resin which poisons humans. The girl joyfully told me, "too bad, we won't exchange them". Then the older lady told me she would speak with the owner; and the owner would call me in the morning if she could help me. I have not received a callback and that says it all. I will not shop here again. They don't stand behind what they sell. I didn't buy these mugs for decoration, I bought them to drink hot beverages out of.

She was the only employee working at the time (since a coworker had called in), yet she managed to juggle everyone's needs without ever appearing flustered or stressed. She kept calm under pressure, multitasked beautifully, and still gave us her full attention to make sure our notary needs were taken care of correctly. Alyssia's professionalism, patience, and ability to keep things running smoothly in such a hectic environment are truly impressive. She definitely deserves recognition -- and a raise!

I don't know if it's this store or Amazon but something needs to be changed. I come here to drop…read moreoff my Amazon package and Amazon tells me I just need to bring the return in the package it came in and UPS will print my label and mail it. Wrong almost every single time. I come into UPS with my Amazon QR code and return (that is in its original box) and the UPS employees tell me I need a box or I need a bag for it. That's not what Amazon is telling me. The UPS employees just stare at me if I can magically make a box appear. I get if it is Amazons miscommunication, but try to help me out and not charge an arm and a leg for a box. Half of your business (I'm sure) is people returning Amazon packages. Try to be a bit more understanding if people interpret the instructions a certain way. Also be aware of people returning multiple returns in one box. Ivy had me take my box apart to do two separate returns under the same QR code. Once I told her that, she said "oh, you can keep them in the same box". I know I can! That's what Amazon said to do! Maybe ask a question before you just start scanning or throwing the scanner around. I thought she was going to charge me to tape the box up, because that's what it seemed like in the moment. Anyway, I always try to pick Staples now to return since they are much nicer and easier to return packages with. But once in awhile I have to come here and I am always ready to be turned away because something is always wrong.
