I've came here a couple times and have always had a great experience. I always came a bit early, around 4pm, so the place is pretty chill and relaxing. If it's around 6pm then it gets quite crowded. I always order the oysters here. They taste very fresh and the vinegar and chillie sauce that come with are great pairings. Other dishes here are also quite yummy. Their chicken sandwich has good seasoning but the chicken piece is quite small. Generally speaking, nothing extraordinary, but nothing bad either. The cocktail is quite strong but that could easily be a plus. They have great selection of draft beer as well. read more

We parked in the back behind the coffeehouse and entered in through the front patio which is heated and has e through tented walls so there's natural light coming in! We are instantly greeted with a smile from a group of staff and told we could sit at the bar or on the patio since there were reservations inside (day after Thanksgiving). We sat at the bar but could see the gorgeous details from the first and second floors of this converted historic home. It feels cozy and we are lucky enough to be served by the bar manager, Jesse who was amazing to chat with. His knowledge as a local purveyor and mixologist are unmatched. I ordered a glass of the Millworks Hazy IPA and my husband got an English ale and Jesse was kind enough to give us samples of others so we could see which full glass we wanted. We were strapped for time but would have ordered food if we weren't! Plus, my hubby loves old fashioned drinks so Jesse created his house recipe and it was delicious. I will start with positive comments first; the appetizer was fantastic "Karaage" a must try and then with the main either Duck Confit Ravioli or the Swordfish both are fantastic. Make a reservation so you know you will have seating plus it is nice to get there and the host greets you and then seat you, kudos for efficiency. Now to discuss why a "two star" well when you go to dinner with your date, partner, or your spouse you want it to be enjoyable and relaxing. Our server was not the most friendliest of the bunch I arrived first she greeted me asked for my drink order and I advised her I was waiting on someone else. The other person arrives and it 6-7 minutes after the person arrives the server came over an asked the person drink order. Then 10 minutes later the glass of Chardonnay arrives we order appetizer. So, we wait on the appetizer 10-15 minutes not long but it was delivered by someone else unfortunately, our server did not bring utensils or small plates. We asked the young lady that brought out appetizers to provide utensils and she did. Since we had not seen our server; not sure how long it had been at that point. The food arrived and finally the server comes around to ask if we need another glass of wine, which we both said yes but unfortunately, she only came back with one glass (no problem I drank water). When I decided to ask for dessert and coffee once again my dessert came out beautifully but "no utensils" the good part two spoons were brought to us but no coffee. After finishing my dessert the server finally comes over brings coffee and says "no charge on the coffee" not once did she apologize or came by the table to see if all was good or not. In case it is not clear yet what my issues are with the service (the lack of attention to detail) which at an establishment that charges premium prices should be more diligent about training their servers to be more attentive to the patrons. FYI, my table was right by the front door and stairs so ALL servers have to pass by our table so she could have taken a minute to ask if we needed anything. Actually, even with the lack of attention from the server and having to wonder if we would see her again (LoL) I still like the establishment but service plays a roll on whether a recommendation is going to be given or if i would return or not. Good luck with the business and my opinion the food is dynamite. read more

Came in for Dinner on Saturday. Good beer on tap - I had the Haymaker Double IPA and Black Lager. Watershed Pub has the same ownership as the Millworks, which is starting to get more creative in their beer offerings. My partner and I split the pierogis, which were good, although the portion size didn't match the price. Could've added two more to make six total on the plate. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich with seasoned fries, which turned out great. A brisket sandwich was also delivered to our table, it was less dry than expected. For dessert, we got the warm brownie with ice cream. The nuts and salted caramel on the brownie added a lot to it. Service was quick and attentive, while the atmosphere inside is friendly and welcoming. read more

I had been at the restaurant a year ago and experienced the same funny tasting water. We had to get something else to drink because it was unpleasant. I called the Watershed Pub with 48- hour notice to try to reserve the second floor space for a family gathering after a funeral. the Events Coordinator was great, she confirmed the reservation and helped me choose a menu for my guests. Upon arrival, the staff was super-friendly. The space was spotless, the bartender was waiting for us, and as people arrived the food was set up in a convenient room adjoining the bar. And the food was fantastic! We had four kinds of pizza, a couple of large salads, and a Korean chicken app that was out of this world. I can't say enough about how perfect this venue was for a private gathering of about 30 people. We had our own well-appointed bathroom, coat rack, plenty of seating at tables and the bar. I would definitely recommend this place for the staff, food and atmosphere. read more

My friend introduced me to this cute restaurant last weekend! She made a reservation a couple days before for Sunday at 10am. We opted to dine on the covered patio. The heated lamps were an appreciated feature for a cold and rainy morning. We were in the mood for more breakfast than lunch that day, and the sides portion of the menu fulfilled our cravings perfectly. I ordered bacon, scrambled eggs with cheese, toast, and cranberry juice. The toast was thick yet airy, and came with a perfectly sweetened seasonal cranberry spread. The bacon was thick and cooked perfectly. Finally, the eggs were fresh and made to my specifications. Our server was friendly and responsive. He did mention it was their take on it, but I was eager to try. The dish did not disappoint & I'd highly recommend it! My partner selected the mushroom bowl and added chicken which was also good and we had the pierogies for an appetizer/small plate. The food was appropriately portioned and was light/healthy (which I didn't mind at all - was quite thankful as I thought I was in for a carb overload). I visited The Watershed on opening weekend and had a great overall experience. The building is fantastic and shows the same kind of attention to detail you'll see at the owner's other property, The Millworks over in midtown Harrisburg. Beers are from the Millworks and the menu focuses on locally sourced options from the Chesapeake Bay watershed. It is an interesting menu though not extensive but that's fine--they're focused on doing things right. I had the burger while my companion ordered fish and chips. Both were quite tasty and I look forward to trying other items on the menu. Watershed provides contactless temperature screening of all guests, hand sanitizer, well-spaced tables, and face covers on all staff. There were a few minor service delays--not unexpected on an opening weekend. The one downside of the beautiful interior is that the noise level can be bit boisterous, even at reduced capacity. Not a big deal, but just something to be aware of if you're planning a quiet evening. read more
