The Woods has a cozy and rustic vibe that makes it a nice spot to grab drinks with friends. The atmosphere feels warm and inviting, and the lighting really adds to the mood. Service was good and the staff was friendly, but overall I felt like the drinks could have been a bit more impressive for the price. It's still a great place if you're looking for a relaxed night out with a chill ambiance. I enjoyed my time here, though I'd probably come back more for the atmosphere than the drinks themselves.

Had a meet up with friends before the TCM Classic Film Festival in Hollywood... They put the cable channel TCM on while we were there ... It has a great Mid Century look and feel... Great ambiance! Good drinks... We all had a great time... Fun way to start our Festival Week!! Cheers~

We found our new favorite craft cocktail joint! Excellent service and a very warm, fun vibe! The house specialty cocktails are off the charts. But, they have an incredible liquor selection and can mix up anything your hipster heart could desire!

This place is really cute and fun. They have karaoke and comedy shows. Pricing is good too. Love that they have a shot of the day.

A very cool bar located very close to Hollywood boulevard. It really does feel like you are in the woods, there are stars on the ceilings and the walls are all wood. They were also playing Jurassic park in the back on a big screen. My friends and I only got one drink here, but it was also really good. If you're looking for something a little of the beaten path, this is the place.

Our bartender was Shane and he was wonderful and really made our experience memorable. Zeke was the other bartender who was great as well. We ordered a Painkiller and a Captain's Inner Circle. Each drink comes in its own unique cup/glass and has such a fun presentation. The painkiller was presented to us with some fire elements and the captain's inner circle was hilarious - they ring a bell and all the workers join in on saying you're a part of the inner circle. Now the taste. Both of the drinks were delicious! We love a painkiller and this one definitely didn't disappoint, it totally hit the spot. I also loved the inner circle drink, it was coconutty and had fruity elements like apricot in it. There are so many drinks on their menu, we wish we could try them all! We'll have to come back next time to try more. They also have food but we didn't have time to try any dishes this time.

It felt social without being overwhelming, making it easy to have a conversation or simply sit back and enjoy the drink. It was refreshing, delicious, and absolutely gorgeous! 2) the Cosmopolitan: made with Grey Goose Vodka, Pierre Ferrand Dry Curaçao, and cranberry. It was pretty tasty, not exactly like a traditional Cosmo and had a bit of a bite to it, but good enough that I got two. My friend and I shared the guacamole which was a pretty decently sized portion and came with a big basket of chips. We also got the Weho Choco Tacos and they were delectable! It's a bit pricey with drinks ranging from $22-$26, but that's to be expected in Weho and especially on Sunset Boulevard. Just something to keep in mind. The crowd was also so nice! We made friends with the couple sitting next to us and watched the end of the NBA finals together on one of their phones. After reading the reviews and seeing the photos, we had high expectations. Unfortunately, it didn't quite deliver the experience we were hoping for. The entrance felt surprisingly ordinary and didn't create the sense of mystery or excitement that's usually part of a great speakeasy. Inside, the space is attractive, but the atmosphere felt a bit confusing. It wasn't quite a speakeasy, it wasn't quite a fine dining restaurant, and it wasn't casual either. It seemed like it was trying to be several different things without fully committing to one identity. The food was good, but nothing particularly memorable. Everything was enjoyable enough, but considering the reputation and price point, we expected dishes that would leave a lasting impression. The service was pleasant, although not especially attentive or polished. One unexpected disappointment was the lighting. We were excited to capture a few photos to remember the evening, but the lighting made that nearly impossible. None of our pictures turned out well, which was unfortunate since we had planned this as part of a special night out. The restaurant was also surprisingly quiet, with only one other couple dining during our visit. They were also discussing the food and seemed to share some of the same impressions we had. Overall, Employees Only wasn't a bad experience--it simply didn't live up to the expectations created by its reputation. For such a special occasion, we were hoping for an immersive atmosphere, standout food, and a memorable experience. Instead, we left feeling underwhelmed. I'm glad we gave it a try, but it's probably not a place I would choose to visit again.
