Had not had our hvac system maintained in years. We had some odd noises come from our furnace and decided to have therma tech stop by for a check up and filter change. Scheduling our appointment was fast and easy. Communication via email and text with an automated reminder system was refreshing. The appointment was on time and the technician got to work right away. He said the unit was fine but there may be a faulty control board that might need to be replaced in the future. He let us know the filter model as he didn't have any of that type on hand. He did not charge us for the service as he did not find anything he needed to fix and did not have the right filter model to replace ours. Honest and efficient thank you! My wife feels more comfortable with using the heater now after she heard we just needed a filter change ASAP. read more

Great first experience with ThermaTech! I am trying to baby my aging central air unit through one more summer, and the compressor wouldn't turn on when I tested it. Jared C showed up (on time), asked a few questions and got right to it, checked all the wiring and key components, cleaned things off and it started right up. I expected to be charged for the service call, but was not! They will definitely get my business when I've saved up for a new unit! Our HVAC stopped working recently and we called them to setup an appointment. They were very quick to respond and schedule an appointment right away. We called on Friday and got technician at our door firs thing in the morning. The technician was very professional, enthusiastic, and made sure we understood what was involved. She quickly diagnosed and fixed the issue for us by replacing a capacitor. She also told us what needs to be regularly, so this issue doesn't happen again. There was no upselling involved. I called Therma Tech. Love this company! Our heater went down, somebody answered the phone, and someone's here within 20 minutes. Lar was awesome and he explained everything. I asked if I could watch him with a meter as to what her issue was. We had a circuit board out. I was surprised at the cost, but then again, we haven't done anything to our heater in 20 years. I called a friend, connection that works at Trane, but has moved out of the area(our heaters brand), he told me that was the going price and that Therma Tech is a standup company and their prices are going, rate. Samantha, came out to put the circuitboard in, within two days and our heater is up and running beautiful. Not to mention that Samantha was awesome! This company is great and in the world and not so many great companies and over inflated prices, I am completely satisfied! read more

Called Therma Tech today, 7/24/24 @ 11am and they were able to fit me in their schedule the same day. My appt window was from 1-3 but Henry Elia was able to come earlier and arrived at around 12:20. He opened my AC outside unit and as I'm expecting it was due to bad compressor. He gave me 2 options for a fix, 1) new compressor only with 1 yr warranty 2) new compressor and install a compressor booster with 3 yrs warranty. I opted for option 2 and he gave me a $40 discount which is much apppreciated. It's still alot of money but to not suffer and for me and my family's health I think it was worth the money. Now I'm sitting in my cool house and thankful for the blessing that I'm able to have it fix. Thank you Therma Tech and THANK U HENRY! read more

Terrific service. Henry, the owner, came first to diagnose - on a Friday. Jared came on Monday to replace a gas valve. They were both very competent, very personable and very efficient. On top of his good work, Jared figured out where our downstairs' filter was. (Years ago another HVAC guy said he couldn't find it). Therma Tech installed my HVAC system last year. The furnace worked well for us during the cold weather but when we wanted to use the AC this spring, there was a bad odor coming out of the vents. Due to the relatively cool weather, it didn't seem like an urgent problem but I finally got my act together and I called on a Wednesday and left a message. They returned my call the next day and made an appointment for me on Friday. The technician was on time and performed maintenance on my AC unit. He was very knowledgeable and thorough. He tested the system when he finished and the AC was working well. He took a bunch of pics of the work he did and emailed me copies along with the paid invoice. Our AC's control board failed on Sunday night around 6pm, called and left a VM stating a call back Monday morning for scheduling was OK. Monday morning at 8:30a I called and talked to Vicky who had listened to my VM and was about to call me. She sent out a tech to assess at 9:30a that morning. He arrived exactly at 9:30a. The tech was Henry, who I believe is the business owner. Within minutes he diagnosed the problem as the control board, and found a vendor in the area. He said someone would call me back in 10-15 min with an estimate of the replacement to see if I wanted to proceed. Then he left. Within 10 min, Vicky called back and quoted me a price. It was higher than I expected, but it was a circuit board from a 23 year old furnace, and considering all the inflation the past years, I'm not surprised it cost that much. I considered it fair price, especially given how fast they responded and solved my problem. She said another tech would be by from 11:30-noon to replace the part. At 11:50a another tech arrived with the control board. He replaced it and checked out the A/C for proper operation. The replacement board solved the problem, and the price was exactly what Vicky quoted me on the phone. Very efficient, and very responsive. I highly recommend them. read more

Henry, the owner, came out within half an hour of when I called to request service. Initially, my AC which was making a grinding noise, was operating as it should when I turned it on. Henry said he couldn't diagnose the problem if it was working properly. As such, he didn't charge me for coming out and asked that I call him back if the unit acted up again. Within a few moments I realized that while the AC unit was operating properly, there wasn't any air coming out of the vents. Fortunately, I caught Henry before he pulled out of my driveway. He came in, inspected my furnace and diagnosed a faulty capacitor which he promptly replaced. I was charged a reasonable fee and I was delighted with Henry's work and professionalism. read more

Summer is coming and we'd never used our AC in our new home so we wanted to get it checked out. Two technicians came out (probably unusual but really great imo). We have 2 smallish old AC units. They did a thorough maintenance where they checked the two furnaces, associated blowers, and the two AC units. What I appreciated the most was how open and talkative they both were in explaining things to me in terms of how the hvac system worked, what non-standard things they noticed, and what options I had. Both technicians were knowledgable and willing to spend a few minutes explaining things to me. read more

Our heater stopped running. There was a sticker of another company on the heater and I called that number to get a guy to come out and look at it. He came in and look at a couple of things then told me it was the inducer motor that was broken. He said it can be replaced for close to $1000 but the motor won't get here until a month later. At that point, I decided to try other places and see if the motor can be acquired sooner. I found Therma Tech, and Christine on the phone helped me get an estimated time and price for the motor and the job but said they still need to do their own diagnostics. After hearing that the part is 3 weeks out and the price similar to the first place, I decided to go with them because I wasn't a fan of the interactions I've had with the first company. We had Chris from Therma Tech come out to take a look in a couple of hours from when I called. He has all the tools he needed, checked everything he could very thoroughly, and found that the motor was stuck. He opened it up and removed the debris that made the fan inside stuck. When he put everything back together the heater ran perfectly fine. The charge was the diagnostics fee which was many times cheaper than the motor replacement job, and we would have been cold for the next month of time otherwise. Chris was able to find the source of the issue by checking thoroughly and systematically. What a contrast in service! This is how real professionals should work. We are so grateful for the service and for having warm air again immediately! Guess who I'm calling when there are any HVAC issues? This is how you win customers, bravo. read more

Our thermostat lost power, and I called Therma Tech. Jared came out and diagnosed the problem right away. There was a faulty part in the air conditioner that was blowing a fuse (located in the furnace housing). Since the AC was in warranty, they replaced with a temporary part that got things working while waiting for the valid warranty part. The price was quite reasonable and I expect to use their services if needed in the future. read more
