I have always been pleased with service from Therma Tech and today was no exception. Jared the technician came on time for regular pre-winter furnace check up. He did that and then also checked on heat pump mini split unit in ADU. He made sure that was working all right and cleaned the external unit. He also checked on an air circulation vent and cleaned that filer though that was not part of the original service. He took pictures of everything and shared them with me for future reference. My furnace stopped working so I checked out Yelp reviews and saw the ratings for Therma Tech were all excellent. Called and within 40 minutes Samantha was at my house. The furnace is over 30 years old so I was expecting the worst and would have to replace it and within a half hour the furnace was working with just a small part that had to be replaced. I have to point out that Samantha was the most pleasant technician ever to work on my home, she took time to explain what she found, took pictures of the whole process and recommended to change the filters shook my hand and was on her way. ThermaTech did a great job maintaining my furnace. The tech came on time, explained what he was going to do, cleaned the area, and tested all parts of the system. When I asked about the AC, he advised that it's best to do in the warmer months so the readings are more accurate. Our air conditioner went out during last weeks heatwave. I called several repair/ installers and was given dates more than a week out. I guess everyone was busy. When I called Therma Tech they (Whoever ran the front desk was very good) told me they could squeeze me in for an evaluation. Henry arrived a few hours later and explained what could be causing the lack of cold air. He showed me what to do while he went to other jobs and said he would be back later in the day. His directions helped but did not fix it totally. When he return he was able to do an in-depth analysis and replaced a weak performing part. The change was immediately noticeable. These guys are awesome and highly recommended! My furnace was making cranking noises and would restart after a few minutes. I had 3 companies come over to diagnose it as it's old. The first one said the issue was the board which would cost me $875. The 2nd one said it's the gas valve that would cost $1,600. Then came Therma Tech. Samantha and Jared arrived ahead of schedule. They went troubleshooting the issue right away. Samantha was very patient explaining what they were doing to figure out the issue. They eventually figured it was my thermostat. I had a fantastic experience with Therma Tech. They were easy to make an appointment with. They provided frequent reminders of the appointment. They were on time. Samantha was the technician that came to service my issue. She was very friendly and promptly introduced herself. She asked if she could come in to the house and used booties to cover her shoes without me having to ask. This is important to me as I am Japanese and in our culture, we always take our shoes off when entering the house. Samantha listen to my description of the issue, asked a few questions, then asked to see the furnace. Immediately she was able to diagnose the most likely cause of my problem, a blown fuse. She replaced the fuse and immediately we were able to hear the furnace start. When the issue occurred, I was in the process of adding 2 new Nest 3rd Gen thermostats to replace my aging Honeywell thermostats. Samantha worked through the setup with me, and made sure all 3 of my thermostats were working properly before saying good bye. She even left me a spare fuse, just in case, and showed me how to replace it should it blow again, and to call back if there are any further issues. ThermaTech was very up front with the price for the initial daignosis, and overall the proce performance is excellent. I can wholeheartedly recommend ThermaTech to anyone that is in need of HVAC service just on my one experience with them. One of my AC ducts was falling apart so I called Therma Tech. Jose and Ali came out to my house and they went under the house in a tight crawl space to replace it. They were finished within two hours. I asked them why one duct came apart and not the other ones. Jose informed me that the duct was laying on the ground and over the years from rubbing on the ground due to air movement the protective covering wore off. I learned why it is necessary to keep the ducts off the ground. They left me some extra banding to use on the other ducts if they come in contact with the ground. read more

My old furnace's igniter was dead. Henry was kind enough to stop by within 30 mins on his way to a personal event. He diagnosed the issue quickly and, despite a parts mismatch, he and his office located the correct part within hours and scheduled a follow-up appointment.
