How often do you arrive and have your table ready for you? This was the first weekend they were opened and we were excited to say the least! Absolutely wonderful food and service. We had the focaccia appetizer (amazing), cannelloni and 1/2 smoked chicken and roasted Brussel sprouts! Our server Jasmine was the best. We love the vibe of this place so much, we might go back tonight . They offer an amazing happy hour from 3-6 with specials and walk in dinning at the high tops and bar with reservations for patio and booths! Can't wait! read more

I usually would give this place 5 stars all day long however I noticed over the past few months a significant change. Much smaller portions (almost embarrassing), food menu items altered, food is not tasting good, are drinks not on point just to state a few. The service/staff are great however after a few conversations with them I'm probably not the only one thinking the same thing. I understand costs have increased to a degree but there are a lot of great restaurants to go to. Hope things improve as I used to love this place! read more

I visited twice in April but forgot to share my compliments of this new restaurant. Fantastic food! Great drinks! Beautiful decor! A winning patio! But the service is what will hook you to become a regular. First meal was with three others. Everyone loved their food. Second visit was a burger at the bar. A delicious burger and fresh cut fries. I contacted the restaurant directly rather than using OpenTable to secure a spot on the patio for a special occasion. I chose this restaurant based on reviews about the picturesque view. When we arrived I reminded them I'd requested a scenic outdoor spot a month previously. We were seated at a table next to the busy street that was so unbalanced the waitress even commented on it being best to move. Once moved our waiter brought drinks quickly but took half hour to communicate the specials to us. Our food took an hour to be served and we were given the explanation there were too many tickets before ours. The food was cold and a hamburger requested for medium doneness was dripping blood. I have never written a negative restaurant review but was so thoroughly disappointed in this meal I felt it worthwhile to share. read more

We went to Thompson 105 for the first time with friends. It was awesome. The views are to die for. What a great neighborhood spot. We had awesome meatball sliders, fresh salads and a spectacular half roasted chicken. Maddie was our server and she was splendid. She was funny, kind and helpful. She made for a fabulous evening. This was our first time at Thompson 105. We went with another couple who had been there twice before and suggested we go there for dinner. We were not disappointed! Dinner was excellent! We sat on the patio and had beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. We started out with an appetizer of Thompson Focaccia. it was so good and just perfect to share. As it turned out the men each ordered the Thompson 105 Burger and the girls the Rotisserie Prime Rib Sando. Everything was done perfectly and we were all extremely satisfied with our selections and sides. Our server, Gracie, was fabulous! She was the exceptional addition to our dinner. Her sister Maddie is also a server there and between the two of them we were well taken care of. When we go back we will ask for Gracie, but either of them would be great. A great dinner for my sister in laws birthday. What a nice patio at subset, you can see the sun setting and then the glow on the mountain. Everyone loved their entree. I had the lasagna I've never had it with mini meatballs and it wasn't drowning in sauce. I tried my nephews chicken parm which was a great piece of chicken and not much breading. First time there with friends on Friday night. We had reservations & were seated on the patio. Gorgeous Harvest Moon & everyone taking pictures. All four of us ladies ordered half orders of pasta, Rigatoni Rustica & Gnocchi with salads, wine & yummy key lime pie & terra misu. Everything was so delicious & our waiter, James, was very good. Love that they offer half orders of pasta dishes & also either a small salad or large salad. Will be going back soon. read more

Our table had the cannelloni-excellent, shrimp pasta-perfectly cooked shrimp and a nice, spicy sauce, Cobb salad-really large and delicious, crispy chicken sammich-very good with tasty fries. I wish our culinary experiences had been like some of the other reviewers. We have been to the patio 3 times for dinner. We really wanted to give it more and more chances because it has so many positives. For us, food just kept getting worse. We all ended up throwing away our leftovers after our last visit during Restaurant Week. Leftover chicken parm, roast beef sandwich and the burger all went in the trash. Something was terribly off. The wine prices are ridiculously high also. The misted patio is beautiful but that alone will no longer be able to sway us to return. read more

We dined at Thompson 105 last night for AZ Restaurant Week. We had ten people in our party so we tasted all the Restaurant Week options between us. All courses were delicious, and entree portions were very generous! The prawn appetizer and the meatball appetizer were excellent. Our server Kalenna was amazing. She was helpful and attentive and very patient with our large group. She even took a photo for us, posing us to get the perfect shot. The view and ambiance can't be beat! read more

Atmosphere is great however food was terrible and very pricey. Service slow. The roast chicken was way too dry and tasted like sawdust. Save your money and go elsewhere. Came here out of town for a birthday dinner with family, and they went completely above and beyond. My grandma had asked if we could bring brownies with us to celebrate since I'm GF and DF, but we ended up leaving them at time. Our waitress Dawn (absolutely wonderful) went and spoke with a manager Rick, who actually went all the way out to the store to get supplies, and the chef made us the most incredible GF DF dessert. I've never had a restaurant go this above and beyond before! On top of that, delicious food, wonderful service, and such kind people. We were invited by friends and knew nothing of this place...but given how busy it was at 5pm on a Monday I obviously missed the memo! The food was great but the service was even better. A wonderful hostess went to lengths to show us the food pictures she had on her cell phone. You could tell she was proud of it. That truly was a first for me! My wife ordered the lasagna... and she knows how to make lasagna herself. When she asked for a to go box, that was all I needed to know that I will order the lasagna next time. I went to Thompson 105 for the first time last night. Very pricy for the quality, but the food did match the pictures as advertised. There was a fly problem that is very irritating, but from reading the comments they are working on that. The only other comment I can make is that they were unable to bring separate tickets and I had to pull out my pen and figure out the cost myself. It's very common for parties to not want to 'split' the bill evenly. I hope they figure this out it's embarrassing to have to pull out my own pen and calculator to figure it out for them. read more
